What kind of relationship did they/do they have with your character: Sofia doted upon her daughter, and they showed promise of a close relationship. However, Sofia died before any real relationship could show.

Headcanon(s): - Sofia was the beautiful girl in town, sunny personality, beautiful inside and out.  - A talented witch, she showed great promise and was an avid student of her fathers.  - Aleksander was the bad boy she shouldn’t love, but she did. She was truly happy with him, he was her soulmate and when they were dying in the fire she asked him to kill her so she could die peacefully in his arms, knowing that there was no escape for her.

What kind of relationship did they/do they have with your character: Emma was daddy’s little girl, and he doted on her. He has watched her grow up from afar, unable to approach her because he wanted to protect her. 

Headcanon(s): - Aleksander didn’t realise that he was an untriggered werewolf, inherited from his estranged father. The man left when his wife refused to allow Aleks to be turned into a wolf when he was older.  - Aleks had anger issues growing up, he’d lash out and lose his temper frequently. However, Sofia calmed this anger.  - He bought an engagement ring the day she agreed to go out with him. - He triggered his werewolf curse when he killed Sofia in the house fire that would’ve killed them otherwise, and this triggered his curse, allowing him to exit the fire unharmed.   - He tracked down Emma three weeks after the fire, however, he has never made contact, wanting to protect her. Instead, he allowed people to presume that he was dead and has started a new life with a new identity.

What kind of relationship did they/do they have with your character: Emma and her grandfather were very close. They shared a teacher/student relationship, and Emma became a talented witch under his tutelage. His death devastated Emma, who feels responsible for his going into the Spring Fling looking for her. 

Headcanon(s): - He moved to Hollow Grove in the early 2000s, setting it up as a home base so that he could search for his daughter and then when he found she’d passed, trace Emma’s whereabouts.  - Konstantin was a successful novelist and published three novels. His fourth was supposed to be published during the Spring FLing 2018, however, he postponed it to attend his favorite event.  - During the bombing, he knew Emma was close to them and went in frantic to find his granddaughter and unaware that she had been taken to the hospital. He was caught up in the second round and killed instantly.  - His fourth novel is to be published posthumously this year.

What kind of relationship did they/do they have with your character: Antagonistic at best. After the death of Konstantin, Emma fled Hollow Grove and returned to her mothers’ hometown of Sofia, where she met her aunt. At first, Viktoria made a show of mentoring Emma, however, it was false. She did her research into Emma’s background and discovered the werewolf heritage running through her niece's veins. She coerced a man to walk into Emma’s path whilst the latter was training, which led Emma to kill him accidentally and triggering her curse. Done so out of vengeance for taking her father away, and a lifetime of resentment towards Emma’s mother, she made a show of kicking Emma out -- and Emma is unaware of her aunt's role in triggering her curse.

What kind of relationship did they/do they have with your character: They are close, Emma and her father did a lot together growing up. They’d catch sports games, he taught her to play pool, to throw footballs. Between her and David, they were the ultimate three musketeers. 

Headcanon(s):  - David was the ER Resident at the hospital Emma was taken to when she was rescued from the house fire.  - The little girl stayed on his mind, and whilst his wife was pregnant with their second child, they decided to take the child into their home. 

He decided to move his family closer to Emma last year, after the passing of her grandfather, so that he could support his daughter and they could spend more time with her.

Headcanon(s): - Jane fell in love with Emma instantly and knew that they would adopt her from the moment she met the girl. It was hard to wait the years it took for adoption to be approved.  - She loves Hollow Grove and finds it fascinating.  - An artist, she is constantly unaware that she always has paint splattered on her person somewhere. She doesn’t own a single item of clothing that doesn’t have paint on it.

Headcanon(s): - David has embraced the Hollow Grove lifestyle the quickest.  - Like Emma, he followed his father into medicine. Whilst he wasn’t as passionate as Emma, he managed to get through medical school.  - Has grown up since Spring Fling last year when he received the news Emma had been severely wounded in the bombing, and moving to HG was no question.

What kind of relationship did they/do they have with your character: Growing up, Emma’s premonitions were explained off as mental illness and hallucinations, earning her the reputation of being the weird girl. Since the girls were in the same year in school, Zoe copped a lot of flack for being the weird girl's sister. A lot of resentment settled between the two, especially when Emma was revealed to be a witch, and whilst it’s eased a little in the past year or so, Zoe still has little to do with her sister. 

Headcanon(s): - Zoe is the only Sawyer to not live in Hollow Grove, she moved to Los Angeles when she was 22 and visits frequently.  - There is only 6 months between Emma and Zoe, Emma was born in March and Zoe was born in September.  - Zoe does makeup and beauty tutorials and vlogs her life for youtube, Emma subscribes to her channel to keep up with what she’s doing.

Emma and Riley are thick as thieves -- best friends from childhood. 

Headcanon(s): - Emma and Riley are incredibly close. Growing up, if you lost one you’d find them with the other.  - Riley married at eighteen, however, the marriage fizzled out just a few years after and she’s now divorced. She’s been relationship shy ever since.  - When the Sawyers joined Emma in Hollow Grove, she didn’t hesitate to join them and lives with the Sawyers.  - She was the only one who believed Emma when she said her premonitions were real, and when Emma was revealed to be a witch, Riley claimed she called it.

hollow grove development task 001 | home is where the heart is

Address: 1902 Albion Street, Apt 3 What kind of place is it?: Apartment How long have they lived there?: Harlow has lived in her newest apartment for the past nine years, having felt she outgrew her old one. It held certain memories she wanted to leave behind. Number of bedrooms?: There are two bedrooms. The master is grand, with light marble detailing and softer grey furnishings. A rather large California King bed sits in the middle of the room, flanked by two floating bedside tables. The second bedroom is smaller, the grey and white theme following into it. No expense was spared for this room, either, though it generally remains unused. It is partially a study for Harlow, though a fold-down King sized bed is fixed to the wall should she have guests. ( She doesn’t. ) Number of bathrooms?: Two and a half. Marble detailing follows through each bathroom, including a soaking tub in the master bathroom and a large marble shower in the guest bathroom. Light catches easily from the windows, making the space feel both relaxing and rather cold. Number of square footage?: 1,852 sq ft. What kind of amenities does it have?: Harlow made sure to get an apartment with a decent patio, a nice place to watch the night sky on those nights where she wished to remain inside and alone. It gives her a pretty decent view of Hollow Grove that she can watch as night, glass of whiskey in hand. The walls are soundproof, perfect for when she wants to play on her old black Steinway grand piano. The state of the art appliances keep the apartment running, the building having exceptionally good WiFi. ( A good thing, since Harlow loves her electronics. ) How much do they pay per month for it?: She bought the apartment outright, wanting to make whatever modifications to it she wished. Do they live with anyone else?: No. She does have a maid that comes by regularly to help keep it pristine, but only Harlow lives in the apartment. Any history/rumors surrounding it?: Harlow’s former maid once shared a rumor that the reason Harlow seems so cold is that her apartment is haunted by the ghosts of its former occupants. She’s a lot more haunted by the ghosts of her past.  Do they have pets?: Pets are allowed in the apartment, and Harlow once had a rather gorgeous Leucistic Ball Python, but had to sell it once she realized she spent too much time at the Observatory to properly care for it. Generally, she doesn’t have any around.

A second kitchen, a couple more bathrooms, multiple extra rooms that change out depending on whats needed, a whole basement that is the same size as the upstairs but with more bedrooms and other random rooms that change, oh, and a pool.  How much do they pay per month for it?: Owned outright.  Do they live with anyone else?: Technically no. She allows people to stay over if needed, but she has no live in roommates. Any history/rumors surrounding it?: The building itself is just a simple basic old building. Simply put, complicated. When George was a kid, they built ships in bottles and went out fishing together. He took it harder than his wife when George failed to manifest powers and they have a hard time relating to one another currently. In some ways, George suspects that his father wished he'd simply stayed in New York and never returned to Hollow Grove.

Headcannon:

Injuries during the supernatural war have crippled his left hand and reduced his control over his pyrokinetic powers.

When George was born, he insisted on naming his son after his father and the leader of the Chatwin coven.

She is the product of a powerful French based coven that was completely oblitered in the Supernatural War. As such, she taught all her kids to speak French.

Leona has her shit together. She is a shining example of everything the Chatwin family wants their kids to become, this has a times caused some tension between her and George. She does to some degree agree with her father and the coven that his life among the supernatural in Hollow Grove is dangerous for him. Despite this they are both high-strung super nerds at heart and can talk in circles about research and studies. Headcannon:

Leo skipped two years of schooling, and was fast-tracked on the university course.

She has a strong grasp on her gifts and is the favorite to be announced successor of their family coven when their grandfather steps down.

What kind of relationship did they/do they have with your character: It’s a very tense relationship now, though he doesn’t know why Gia shies away from him and his wife when they visit with their daughters.

Headcanon(s): Craig was a party boy and typical trust fund kid when he met Beatrice in High School. When he triggered his curse, he and  Bea decided that killing was fun and set their sights on vampires, enjoying the kill way too much. It’s a secret that only Gia knows.

Headcanon(s): Bea probably wouldn’t have triggered her curse or become worse than Karla Holmolka if it hadn’t been for meeting Craig. They fed off each other’s sadistic nature and spent their late teens and most of their twenties, murdering vampires they came across.

Headcanon(s): Jacobi was never referred to as “Jack” or “Jacob,” preferring his full name; the reasons are unknown. When Everleigh broke her arm after her first shift, he laughed; Jacobi was dismissed from the coven’s high ranks due to his cruelty some years afterwards when  his abuses became more apparent. Everleigh found his body in Summerdale and simply walked over the remains of his face, feeling nothing for him.

What kind of relationship did they/do they have with your character: While Trudy passed away while bringing Everleigh to the world, Everleigh was told by the coven that her mother loved her very dearly, sang to her before they slept, and would have cherished her deeply; home videos supporting such claims have instilled a love for her mother since.)

Headcanon(s): Despite the previous fact, Trudy could not sing to save her life; she knew it and often only hummed. She loved teaching so very much and her funeral was a massively sad one because her former students came to pay their respects. She did not, in fact, love Jacobi Dorrison and had to marry him purely for the opportunity of the coven line to continue in their offspring; her plan was to raise Everleigh for two years then divorce him. The ring Everleigh wears on her middle left finger is Trudy’s, bearing the subtly engraved crest of the King family. Everleigh legally took her mother’s name when she was thirteen.

DEVELOPMENT TASK #2 – TOGETHER WE MAKE A FAMILY.

FACECLAIM: Nikolaj Coster-Waldau // SPECIES: Werewolf (Alpha) // RELATION: Father (deceased).

What kind of relationship did they/do they have with your character: Dylan respected the hell out of her father and being the Wright Alpha’s only daughter, she was his girl, through and through. Protective and a little stern, often times she thought him a bit overbearing, but knew deeply that it was out of fatherly love more than anything else.

Headcanon(s): Her father wanted her to be as prepared as she could be for the future and the outside world, so he often ran their hand to hand combat sessions personally. He was the first person to take her ice fishing and was there when she saw her first Moose.

FACECLAIM: Ellen Pompeo // SPECIES: Werewolf // RELATION: Mother (deceased).

What kind of relationship did they/do they have with your character: While Dylan was a daddy’s girl at heart, her mother was someone she could confide in. Their relationship was never strained and always nurturing. While her father had been the Alpha, Dylan always saw her mother as the real reason as to why their safe haven had stayed hidden for so long. Not to say her father wasn’t a brilliant wolf, just that her mother was the complimenting strategist to his somewhat harder and more direct line of decision making.

Headcanon(s): They took walks almost every day through the haven and would often stop to get coffee. Her mother was the first she told of her crushes, though it never seemed to be much of a surprise. Sarah Wright always had a knack for reading people, Dylan more than anyone.

FACECLAIM: Brenton Thwaites // SPECIES: Werewolf // RELATION: Eldest Brother (deceased).

What kind of relationship did they/do they have with your character: Elijah was always the older, silent, distant type. From an early age he was told that, some day, he’d have to shoulder the weight of Alpha and Dylan often thinks that was too much pressure for such a young wolf. While no member of the Wright family was the ‘odd man out’ Elijah was certainly the most distant and stiffest of the children. And once he focused on his life as an officer and protector of the law, he became even more so. Dylan couldn’t find common ground with him.

Headcanon(s): Elijah busted a party Dylan had been attending once, catching her with a fair few kids who were drinking under age. While she was sure he’d book her, in a moment of pure surprise he let her go, meeting up with her later to take her out for a late night coffee. It was in those moments, sitting on the hood of his cop car, that Dylan realized he cared deeply about her and the family, and that he just showed that in a different way.

What kind of relationship did they/do they have with your character: Dylan was closest with Aiden. He was the far more cheerful and prankster of the Wright children and Dylan humored him frequently. He had no interest in becoming the next Alpha and was more than willing to leave that title up to Elijah. 

Headcanon(s): Aiden was a notorious prankster and was well known throughout town and Dylan often accompanied him during excursions. He was also the brother she protected from the hunter that led to her triggering her werewolf gene.

What kind of relationship did they/do they have with your character: Even though Carter was two years older than her, Dylan was far more protective of him than her other brothers. He was softer, kinder, more introverted and she often found solitude in his presence. 

Headcanon(s): Whenever family game nights rolled around Dylan would always partner with Carter. While the youngest son was quiet, he had a sharp mind (not unlike their mother) and a quick wittiness that often left the family in tears from a deadpan joke he’d let slip, usually aimed at either Elijah or Aiden.
