I find it interesting that Milton Grimm seems to view the fairytales only as a means of control? Like if he actually cared abt the royals following their destiny, he would just have them sign the storybook of legends somewhere secluded soon after legacy day. Instead he withholds the ability to sign from all students to further ostracize the rebels. Then, when Raven wants to sign because she thinks all her friends will live horrible lives (because of a lie he fabricated), He makes sure it's at the second most public event besides legacy day to further pressure her. It's like he's purposely sowing conflict among the student body so they won't realize who the real evil is.

The Dai Li subplot in Ashes of the Academy doesn't make sense. However...

We have this group of elite earthbending warriors, deeply versed in espionage, who betrayed the Earth Kingdom due to their loyalty to Azula, stayed in the Fire Nation Capital because of Azula, helped defend the Capital against an invasion force (which included Earth Kingdom troops) together with Azula, were banished by Azula during Sozin's comment, and haven't seen Azula for a few years at this point (she was with the Kemurikage, there wasn't peep about the Dai Li in any other comics).

So what you're telling me is that the Dai Li were so impressed by Azula/had such deep instated loyalty to her that after years of not even interacting with her, they are fighting to put her on the throne of a nation that isn't even their own (Fire Nation imperialist propaganda doesn't work here as an excuse)? They are getting very close to cult level deity worshipping.

I have been using my bullet journal less and less in the past year, because I simply didn't have the energies to keep up with it. With over half a journal empty I decided not to give up on it, and go back to my roots of using it to organize things in a way that should be efficient and not necessarly pretty or tidy. I made a simple header for the year, wrote down my little calendars to use as a reference when I need them, and then worked on a general February spread as well as a specific one in which I organized the materials I'll need to work on for my next exam. Will I plan things weekly and use to do lists like I used to? I have no idea. I will keep the journal on my desk and use it when I need to organize stuff and embrace the chaos of it. Maybe the monthly page will be enough to write down appointments and general things I have to get done, maybe not. I don't really care, it's there to be useful and will probably get messy and it's fine by me. I don't want to spend money on an agenda or something if I can avoid it, so let's see if going back to a less structured use of this journal is the way to go.

i had an xray scheduled for thursday but that’s only day 52. my therio uses a digital xray but that still feels early. gonna call tomorrow to see about pushing it to day 56-57……she’s lorge and i wanna make sure i get a really accurate count. i can’t do day 58 (i am defending percival everett’s james to the school board and hoping to get it approved for curricular use!!!) and day 59 feels like it’s really pushing it in terms of keeping her comfortable. she’s gettin really big really fast now and 2-3 days makes a big difference at this stage.
