Hello!!!!!! Hehe, thiz iz actually super weird trying to write an intro-- give me a minute.

So, HIII!!!!!!! I'm Unpleasant! That'z not a joke, that iz literally my name. There'z no "deep reason" behind it, it iz literally just what people refer to me az. But, if that'z too weird, I do also go by Unplez or Plez for short.

Uh, pronounz? I don't really care, actually. I don't have a set gender, I've never really met a gradient who doez. That being said, since I started hanging with Infected I have been called he and she specifically a lot... so if it'z easiest for you, just roll with the crowd.

Right, so... the blog. Thatz thiz blog, haha! Well, the easy answer iz I waz super bored, Infected can suck a huge ####, and I like talking about myself! But... I kind of suck at talking in general, so I guess I'll type and answer questionz about myself.

To those who know me: Good to see you're still stickin' with me! I promise I will make an effort to make this blog much less of a dumpster fire like the last one.

So, if it wasn't obvious enough from the intro, this is an ask/rp blog for the Unpleasant Gradient from Regretevator, but specifically in the context of the plez-centric au I have created for him. Or, well, the "AU" in question is actually just some freaky amalgamation of all my fucked up headcanons, which means...

I AM NO LONGER DOING DIRECT BLOG ASSOCIATIONS! Really sorry about that, I love my friends with all my heart but if I wanna keep consistency, I'm gonna have to "write the story" on my own. However, I do want to give full credit to my friends @sk8tr1101 and @party-noob for some major concepts involving Unpleasant, especially Audrey who already has some awesome ideas herself. Let's start off by reiterating that I AM NOT OKAY WITH NSFW/EXPLICIT ASKS IN ANY CAPACITY! Sick of getting them, they're repetitive and annoying. Asking safe-for-work questions involving Unpleasant's anatomy is one thing, but I am not responding to ANYTHING involving genetalia.

ALSO! I am very unlikely to respond to things that is either hard to make a unique drawing for or don't progress the story (unlocking "lore" and such). I'm watching your ass, Mango, I know what you like to do (/lh). Joke asks are still okay, you don't *have* to progress story, but please keep in mind my "criteria" for answering asks when sending them. A clean inbox gives me a clear mind. I do not like notifications.

Shipping content: Shipping content is okay, but I don't care much for romance personally and so will likely not play much into it. main ones consist of: * Italian renaissance era(mostly with colors/patterns/ beadwork and some headpieces) *Tudor era (headpieces and the neckline) *regency era (empire waist and simplistic nature) if i was to pick a dress i'd most like to replicate it would be

from The Borgias series.

Italian Renaissance inspired but with empire waistlines(which are more associated with the regency era)

my own little head canon is that prior to Cadenza moving into Phoenix Drop the fashion of the area would be more simple and less extravagant.

I also associate eras with certain characters a bit more Aph: tudor and regency Cadenza: Italian renaissance and medival Zoey: regency and Medival France (i want her to wear those cool Medival hats) irene: lady of sorrows type beat

i like patterns and beadwork alot so i try to look for cool pieces that go with that flow :D hopefully, i can flesh it out better if i start writing this stuff down >0<

hiiii lovelies! i always use photoshop so i'm not sure about a similar software that can give the same results... and i'm sure i saw a tutorial somewhere but i don't remember which one, so i'll just try my best to show you how i do it!

after i've edited my screenshot i just choose whichever one i want, i select the necessary elements for that specific template and copy + paste it to my screenshot.

2. after i've edited the text i amend the blending options of the 'white rectangle' i've added screenshots of the specifics below, but this can change per screenshot

3. sometimes i also like to add an icon, i usually use these ones from @deathbypufferfish and i apply the same blending options to the icon.

Hiii heyyyy hiiii hiii I’m finally throwing my outrageously large hat into the ringer of shadow vanilla possession hiii. He’s been in my pocket but I feel like I really need to talk about him before the funny people phase goes out of style so. Soooo.

Welcome to True Knowledge / Melty Dough au!

Sooo. Basic premise: ever since the tree issues settled down, pure vanilla and Posse ran back home to settle down and make sure nothing happened, and that everything was safe. If you can guess: pure vanilla gets watched by shadow milk through the staff. This plays in with my headcannon that the staff can already speak to pure vanilla, so that will be in part here hhaha

Shadow is very, very weak. He barely has a voice or an eye to watch or to speak from. So, what does he do? Do what he did first of all. His main goal is to poke the back of vanillas mind so that vanilla falls into evil like he did. This starts with small pokes, small itty bitty things. Just the smallest tinge to lie more, hold more secrets, learn more things than he knew previously. It grows and snowballs, continuously, until something happens.

Vanilla starts to unlock more of his soul jam. While this hurts shadow in turn, he’s losing his grip on his side of the jam, he also takes it as an opportunity. If vanilla takes more, he can slip in and take him over fully. While he unlock more of the soul jam, his jam starts to /burn itself inside out/. That’s a /lot/ of power. And he was only built for one half of the soul jam, not the entire aspect of knowledge. Just truth.

They struggle for a while, before shadow ultimately grabs hold of the entirety of him as he melts further and further, taking his body as his own and causing general mayhem for a while. But vanilla’s soul is stuck in the background, watching, horrified of everything shadow is doing. He’s still melting in the back of their mind, but he repurposes the melting. He angles it at shadow, taking his ability to cope and swapping them both. This results in Spoiled Milk.

Vanilla manages to take hold of his own body, still drippy and melty himself but learning and working with his body and parts taken from shadow to change and adapt to hold it all.

Therefore, taking shadow’s original location as The Holder Of Knowledge. There’s more but also I am not a good writer HAHA

⤷ Hands down, the skate park near my house. Roller skating is my happy place and it always calms me down. No videos to edit, no fabric scrap piles to organize or clean, no social media. It's just me, possibly my friend Cherry, and my skates. Everyone there is so chill, nice, and supportive too!!

It's also become something that grounds me. I tend to fiddle with it if sit still for too long and I even find myself reaching for it here.

the untitled document is all of my thoughts on bradycroz. before I rewatched MoTA I couldn’t have picked brady out of a lineup. but then I paid attention to his one (of two….) scenes with Crosby and I was like huh. something there maybe. so then I was like what if croz and brady had a weird ambiguous relationship that only turns romantic right before Brady and Bucky’s doomed flight. it will be chockfull of references to the music of the era (because Brady loved music…not that the show bothered to give anybody that was not the main four a single personality trait) and unconscious pining and foreshadowing of the inevitable tragic ending.

“What do you think of when you see the stars?” Harry asks.

John shrugs his shoulders, an awkward gesture, bumping Harry’s. “Stardust, I guess.”

Harry shifts a little closer. If John leaned his head, it would be on Harry’s shoulder. The only pair of friends he’s seen sit so close are Bucky and Buck.

hiiii omg Thank You i am still quite proud of my little playlists I ♥ MUSIC and i have a few different ways...

first of all i have been pleasantly surprised by the spotify algorithm over the years. i have it (🏴‍☠️🤫) on my phone ( + have found that on firefox wit adblocker it's also usable on desktop without too much hassle) and have sometimes found that the songs it recommends me to add to playlists are actually pretty good even if they don't make it into the playlist. helps that i have a pretty big Musical Appetite (but you're kinda outta luck re:electronica with me because that's not something i necessarily gravitate towards). i'll listen to a new song on loop because Good and then i'll be recommended stuff in the same vibe. it's a 1/7 chance i'll actually want to put it on my phone and #enjoy it for long but sometimes it's bullseye. some of my favorite current songs were random spotify recs (recently La Suite Meurtrière by Vox Vulgaris, Rozy by Dakh Daughters, Requin Blanc by Suprême & Miu by Marina Herlop.)

i'm also constantly looking for #music to put on in the bg while i draw/work so i pop on youtube, find myself a "[genre] [decades (optional)] playlist" and kinda let the waves take me. a lot of it is like solid 5/10 but sometimes there's a 7+/10 that pops up so i find it, add it to a playlist, more stuff like it gets recommended to me, repeat the cycle... Check out musics from other places. it can be looking up "[nationality] [genre] playlist" on youtube. just found this literally just doing it right now. or this channel i like it a lot. some i've loved from it are "Turkish Female Singers from '70s Vinyl Set", "70's Turkish Anatolian Rock Vinyl Set"

Also also, some stuff i put on playlists i don't have in like. my main "everyday listen" playlist. a lot of songs are deeply contextual and if i pulled them out of their playlists I'd Get Scared. i'm not listening to Triple Sun by Coil or ... Archright by Town Portal (both from my threefold bullet playlist) in the subway every morning I'd Get Scared. or so mad like i'm off red dye.

hmm as for tips.... i guess it kinda depends on what level of art ur currently at? like, do u already draw but feel ur skills are lacking or are u a complete beginner? either way i think anyone can benefit from figure drawing! literally just look at a pose reference and scribble shapes that are reminiscent of it! and u only need to spend at most 10 minutes on it. i know that the whole "do studies! look at references!" advice is a tired one BUT GENUINELY IT DOES WONDERS!!! plus figure drawing is alot of fun!!! here is a video that i personally learned from! its important to remember though that when it comes to art there are no set in stone rules that one must follow. in art rules are meant to be broken; so once uve learned the How's and Why's u can start implementing ur own little touches and begin stylizing! another video that really helped me in terms of anatomy structure is this video! of course, just like the first one, i deviate a fair share from it aswell, but it was an EXCELLENT starting point! main difference i do is i insert a sort of. Egg shape instead of just doing a square box. it helps highlight where the shoulders go and also gives me a better idea of where the waist and ribcage should be! here is a crude example; though if u want a boxier shape u can just stick to the first one

(remember that these shapes are merely used as a foundation and guide. theyre only there to help give u an idea of how the body would look, so theres no need for them to be perfect. these foundations can ALWAYS be deviated from) to me, it also helps to add guidelines like the blue lines u see! on the torso im using them to indicate where the middle of each side is. so one line down the center, one line down the back, and one line down each armpit basically. as for arms i instead just add a couple circles to indicate perspective

my last tip would probably be to just look at other artists you deeply admire. create a sort of frankensteins monster amalgamation of ur favorite artistic features! steal the way someone draws eyes, steal the way another draws hair, steal the way one renders, etc etc, until u find something that resonates with u. experiment a little! dont be too focused on having ur own unique style, esp if ur just starting out. as artists we all learn a great amount from each other and take inspiration! so just. keep experimenting and in due time ull find what works best for u! art is an ever-growing process! there is always more to learn and more to try!

Request: Hi love!! I've got this idea stuck in my head and I can't take it out. Hear me out: Kaz Brekker x fem reader. They're in Kaz's office trying to plan the next heist but it's a bit late and he is tired, so she wants him to rest a bit. When he gets up from his desk the girl grabs a piece of paper (he thinks it's the map) and tease Kaz. She runs out of his office and went down to the Crow Club with that piece of paper, so Kaz is trying to catch her up. They run all over the club (it's closed for some reason) while the crows are watching the funny thing. For a moment she disappears and leaves Kaz alone, so he hides in some kind of corner. A moment later she appears and he catches her and both fall to the ground. He tickles her for some time and she gives up. When he goes to his dorm, he sees a cup of tea with some cookies and a note from her. Sorry if it is too long, but I can't stop thinking about this ♡

Hiiiii tell me fun facts about Ruby Bates! How did she become a zombie? (And anything else you feel like mentioning!)

Hiii hewwoo Hiiii!

TW: Gore, zombie stuff. Well, Ruby being Ruby idk.

So! Ruby is originally from my own zombie universe "Heaven is Invite Only". It's a pretty basic zombie apocalypses scenario but the thing is EVERYONE is a zombie even the "survivors" who are zombies but are aware of who they really are and what is happening. Ruby is one of the "big" enemies. She's a stalker that chases after the main characters when she sees them, basically. Her obsession with them is driven by desire to both befriend and kill which turns into a pretty creepy combination of disturbing compliments like "Your eyes are pretty I want to put them in a jar".

So as to how she became a zombie, well...like everyone else in that universe basically. There are two basic ways you can become zombified: Either be bitten or be dead prior to the actual epidemic starting. Ruby is the latter, she died about a week prior to the zombie infection starting. Because her body wasn't buried but instead was kept in a warehouse with the people that killed her, she escaped really easily.

In the JW AU, she's a human but other than that she's not too different. Her zombification turned into just insane amounts of adrenaline and general emotional numbness to pain. I have her profile linked in her blog @rubybates-oc that you can check out for more elaboration.

For the event I basically just decided to go back to her "roots" so to speak.

Okay, now actually some funny facts lmao

Her last name is "Bates" because I decided on her personality when I went onto a rabbit-hole of Patrick Bateman memes on pinterest. I decided that making a character who's personality is just...THIS will be really funny.

Outside of JW she also has other AU's: Postal, Borderlands and Cyberpunk. In Cyberpunk I ship her with Johnny and I even made them a spotify playlist. Something about Johnny possessing a person and then finding out the original person is SO MUCH WORSE is really funny to me 😭😭😭

She's naturally blond!

I often associate her with racoons and when I draw her I sometimes use them for symbolism.

One of her eyes is constantly squinting but the eye itself works fine. After a drug induced stroke her facial muscles where basically paralyzed in that area but she can still "see"...technically.

The fact that she absolutely refuses to wear shoes is kinda a meme now honestly, but her actual reasoning for it is that she feels more comfortable when she has full control of her toe's grip.

Some big inspirations I used when making her is Majima from Yakuza and Trevor from GTAV.

Cannot shoot a gun...her aim is absolute ass unless it's throwing knifes.

She has absolutely no concept of private property and money. Ruby will absolutely try to eat a dollar bill and when she realizes that they're not tasty, will just use them for a bonfire. If you let her into your house she will consider it her house from now on and take whatever she wants. She's like the worst roommate imaginable.
