The setter saw Y/N walk away holding hands with her son while she lifted her girl in her other arm. The clicking of heels echoed off the wall and Atsumu almost snorted, he remember that you claimed you couldn’t walk in them but I guess you can now. Jamie was walking next to her as well. What are the odds?

“Hey Tobio, you’re cousins with her right? She told me she was a manager for a volleyball team in highschool but I never saw her during any summer camps we had together.” Kuroo spoke up. “Ohh she lived in Hyogo at the time! She was manager for Atsumu’s team.” Hinata spoke up. “Ah Inarizaki? No wonder I didn’t see her. I would have made a move if I did.” He muttered. “She would have said no.” Atsumu and Hinata said at the same time. They looked at eachother and Kuroo raised a brow. “Why would she say no?” He asked curiously.

“She was pregnant!”

“She broke up with our middle blocker.”

“Boke Hinata! Don’t just tell your Senpai’s business like that!” Tobio smacked him in the back of his head but Atsumu stood there stunned. Okay he saw the kids but he didn’t know how old they were exactly. But he didn’t think she was pregnant during nationals.

“But in all honesty Kuroo-San, she didn’t know she was pregnant but supposedly she broke up with her ex boyfriend a little bit before nationals.” Hinata tried explaining more to fix the situation and Tobio was pretty pissed. He’s so used to Y/N getting shunned or tsked by family members and random people because she got pregnant before her last year of highschool. He’s not sure if Kuroo would do the same thing.

“Wait—so that means Suna is the dad?” Atsumu gasped, finally putting the pieces together and Tobio gave him a glare. “So what if he is? Piece of shit didn’t even answer the phone when she called a week before she was due. She had to do everything alone. She moved alone, worked long hours to provide for those kids and clawed her way through the seasons in order to get where she’s at. And I’m damn proud of her. Now if you excuse me. I believe we need to warm up.” Tobio said and bumped shoulders with the opposing setter before walking away with Ushijima and Hoshiumi following behind.

“Wait so Suna is that one guy that was number ten and had the funny looking bangs right?” Hinata asked and Atsumu nodded and Hinata’s eyes widened. “Kuroo-San, a lot of people judged and treated Y/N-senpai bad because she made a mistake. Do you think of her any different?” Hinata told him and Kuroo shrugged, “I’m interested in her because I think she’s pretty cool and hot, so what if she has kids? They seem cool too.” Kuroo said and walked passed the black jackals to the gym. He definitely wanted that milf action.

Atsumu immediately flipped out his phone and started typing in the old groupchat that hasn’t been opened in years.

He put his phone away and joined his teammates for warmups. There you were sitting with your co-commentator. And he was explaining something while you nodded and pointed to one side of the court to the other. He noticed your stares as they warmed up and made your way down to see your kids one last time before the game. They were talking to another small boy who had the number 5 jersey of Tobio’s team.

“H-hello!” You told Tobio’s teammate in English, he was Nicollas Romero and so freaking gorgeous. Would he mind having another two kids? Haha jk...unless...? You never really found older men attractive but damn. He’s hot. He was squatting down, eye level with your son as they talked. He looked up and he gave a bright smile “Oh hello, you must be their lovely mother? And you must be Tobio’s cousin. ” He said in English with his thick accent. “Y-yes, sorry if they’re causing you trouble. My son has a habit of doing that.” You said and he stood up. You almost fainted, he’s so freaking big and he was towering over you.

“Oh no, I just wanted to meet my son’s new friends. They’re sweet kids. You raised them right.” He smiled softly and you smiled back. You both looked down at seeing the three kids tossing a volleyball to eachother and you sighed. “Excuse me ma’am, can we take a picture of you, Romero and your children. It’ll look so cute!” A photographer said excitedly. “W-We’re not together.” You stuttered and tried to fan your flushed face. “What is he saying?”Romero asked. Oh yeah the photographer probably only knows Japanese.

“He wants a photo of me and you with the kids. I think he thinks we’re a couple. But I told him we’re not.” You told him in English. “We’re not a couple but surely we can take a picture together? My son would be happy to look back at this when he’s older. And I’m sure your children as well.” He said and you nodded. “Rini, Akira. Come here. We’re gonna take a photo.” You told your kids as Romero called his son over. The photographer told you to pose so the three kids stood in front with Rubens in the center, Rini on his left and Akira on his right. You stood behind Akira with Romero’s arm around your waist. (He asked for permission after the photographer kept insisting) and you leaned your head against his shoulder and you all smiled. The next pose the photographer asked for was you and Romero squatting next to your kids as you all hugged and they rocked their Alders jersey. Is this a regular photo or a family photo?

Earlier Rini cried that he wanted to wear his #12 MSBY jersey and Akira wanted to wear her #13 one. Akira is usually the calm and collected twin but her eyes watered as she cried that Miya would never notice her and now they will never get married and you put a stop to that quick. You told her he was too old and by the time she was old enough to marry him he’d be all ugly and wrinkled and she shivered in disgust.

You were obviously exaggerating but you don’t want your daughter falling for boys like him.

When you pulled away to give your babies another kiss, Rubens asked for a kiss too so you chuckled and kissed his cheek as well he had a red lipstick stain and he was blushing like crazy. They all ran back to their seats to eagerly wait for the game to start. You had a feeling someone was watching you but you brushed it off. It’s not the first time you get looks of disgust when people find out your a mom at so young. You carefully hugged Romero out of respect and you tried to not get makeup on his jersey but he played it off cool and gave you a head pat before returning to his locker room. Jamie was right there in her seat smirking and making a thrusting motion to “get some.” You rolled your eyes and gave a thumbs up to Hinata and one to Tobio. You made your way to the commentators stand where they started to wire you up.

Now on Jamie’s list for you, you had bachelor number one, Kuroo, and bachelor number two, Romero. But little did she know ex boyfriend and bachelor number three saw the whole thing and his heart was broken to pieces.

Summary: Being the only girl on the team, you decide to quit the next year, but Tanaka and the rest of the team needs you around, and the buzz cut in question will do anything to remind you of who you were.

“And now he’s head over heels, madly inlove with her.” Daichi snickered.

“I AM NOT!” Tanaka yelled, pulling his pants down from his hips in the club room.

“Did you know he sobbed like a baby when y/n obliterated her ankles?” Noya snickered, telling the first years about Tanaka’s crush.

“NO I DIDNT, THE SUN WAS IN MY EYE!” Tanaka huffed, searching through his bag for his uniform pants.

“How? We were inside you idiot” Noya cackled.

“That’s pretty pathetic.” Tsukishima scoffed, pushing his glasses up on the bridge of his nose.

“HEY, WATCH IT FIRST YEAR!” Tanaka yelled.

“Calm down, so what you like y/n?” Sugawara chuckled, pulling something off the shelf behind Hinata.

“I don’t-“

“YO.” There was suddenly loud banging at the club room door.

“Are you guys wearing pants?” Y/n asked, leaning against the door.

“Tanaka isn’t.” Asahi replied. Suddenly the door swung open and y/n strided in.

“It’s not like he hasn’t ran around campus in his underwear before.” She shrugged, closing the door behind her. Tanaka’s face flushed as she grabbed her doufle off the bench and closed herself in the bathroom to change.

“You’re totally not blushing right now.” Ennoshita mumbled.

“DUDE SHUT UP!”

After a few minutes, y/n strided out of the bathroom back in uniform. Her pants hung low on her waist and her hands dug deep in their pockets. She had a smug smirk on her face as she opened the club room door.

“Alright I’m out.” She stated, closing the door behind her.

“....Was-was y/n wearing pants?” Kageyama asked. Tanaka’s eyes widened as he suddenly emptied the contents of his doufle bag.

“Open the door.” He growled Nishinoya.

“Y/N YOU LITTLE SHIT, GET IN HERE.” He yelled. A smug giggle could be heard from down the hallway as y/n’s steps got closer to the doorway.

“Yes, dear?” She said innocently, poking her head in the room.

“You’re wearing my pants.” Tanaka glared. Y/n turned around to check the tag on her waistband, feigning surprise when she noticed they were indeed his size.

“Hmm maybe you should stop leaving your stuff in my bag then, they look cuter on me anyway.” She laughed, striking a pose. He had to admit, they did look really good on her, making him blush.

“W-well what the hell am I supposed to wear to class??” He whined, voice cracking a little. Y/n gave him a once over before smirking.

“We’re almost the same size, and you’ve got nice legs, you can wear my skirt if you want.” She shrugged, making the boys snicker.

“Y/n!”

“Bye ‘Naka!” She blew him a kiss before booking it down the hallway.

The guys watched as he stared at the doorway long after she left, a blush and small smile on his face.

“She’s her old self again...” he mumbled to herself.

“So, you gonna wear that skirt?” Noya asked.

“Hell, for her I just might.” Tanaka sighed.

“Told ya he’s in love.”

Was it his fault though? Of course he got excited as a first year when another hot girl besides Kiyoko entered the gym, but his heart fluttered when he noticed your determination. He was on edge everytime you looked his way. And he was all for it every time you had to pick yourself back up again.

“Why do you keep trying?” The silence outside was broken by a voice. Y/n didn’t turn around to greet the boy who sat down on the bench outside the gym beside her. Practice would be starting soon.

“I think he made it clear he won’t let you join.”

“I don’t care. I’ll come back every day until that old fart lets me on the team.” Y/n scoffed, watching the sun continue to rise.

“But why? You look like a smart girl, I’m sure you know this is the boys team.” He stated, watching her side profile.

“Have you ever wanted something so much, that you’d do anything to get it?” She asked, finally turning to catch his gaze. Her eyes were pretty. Tanaka could finally breath when she looked away again.

“The Karasano female team doesn’t have enough girl trying out to have a full team, and overall is pretty much a joke. I’ll be damned if I miss out on my very first season as a highschooler because girls rather do cooking clubs. I don’t care if I have to join the boy’s team. I want to- scratch that, I’m GOING to play for a team this year. It’s the whole reason why I came to this damn school.” She stated. Tanaka stared at her with wide eye.

“Well... you better hurry up.” He said.

“Huh?”

“If you want to be on the team by the first game, you need to up your antics, like-like a challenge!” He said excitedly, standing up. Y/n chuckled, looking up at him.

“Really? That’s pretty ambitious.... I like it!” She smiled.

“You do?-I mean of course you do! I’m Tanaka” he said, holding out his hand to help her up.

“Y/n.”

“You’ve got really pretty eyes, y/n.”

“Baby, your hair is getting so long again..” you tossle the black locks of your boyfriend who sits there, drinking his milk. Side by side, you two enjoy the fresh spring breeze that is just strong enough to blow Kageyama’s hair out of his eyes. For someone who is so attentive of self care and maintenance, he rarely gets a haircut, because they’re “too expensive and they always make it too short.”

“You don’t think I’ve noticed?” he grumbles to himself, pouting his lips a little out of habit. You lean in further beside him, getting a nice and close look at his face. Clear skin, defined features and piercing eyes, Kageyama’s looks are out of this world, and it’s a shame his hair is starting to cover it up.

“W-what are you doing?” his face begins burning up, turning a light shade of pink as you lean in so close that he feels your breath tickle his nose. Your delicate hand shifts his fringe, left, right, up, down, seeing what it would look like if he changed up his cut, or styled it every once in a while.

“Your hair is so nice, baby, why don’t you ever style it?” you give him an encouraging smile as you compliment him. His face heats up just a little more, brows furrowing as he looks directly into your bright eyes. You give his hair another tossle before removing your hand. Bell’s about to ring. Giving him the quickest peck on the side of his cheek, you stand up and wave goodbye to him as you rush off to class.

Kageyama doesn’t stop playing with his hair for the rest of the day. Constantly weaving his fingers through them, partially out of irritation of the growing locks, but mainly to remember the way you touched him and looked at him. It isn’t until the end of the day rolls around and Hinata reminds him about practice that has him snapping back to reality. Packing his school bag, he prepares for his departure, only to notice you standing right in front of his desk. Swaying left and right giddily, your hands are behind your back as you look down at Kageyama with the same bright eyes and endless optimism.

“(y/n), why’re you here?” he asks as he continues to collect his belongings without giving you a second glance. He’s honestly just too flustered at your presence to look you directly in the eyes. He wouldn’t admit it though.

“Tobio..” you purposely sound dejected, forcing him to look at you. Without a second guess, your hands shoot from behind your back, holding the smallest red hair tie. You meticulously gather the dark locks that lay atop his forehead, pulling out and away from his face.

“W-what are you doing?” shaking his head to soften your grip, he soon submits to your adamance. With a sigh, he lets you continue with the hair tie, laying a hand on your waist for support. Wrapping the band around his hair, you finally secure it. Resting your hands on his face, you lift his head up so you can see his beautiful face.

“There you go, baby. Does that feel better?” you shoot him another grin as his other hand rubs his forehead. He lets out another sigh, distraught at what a big deal you made out of something as simple as tying his hair back, but he oh so loves that about you. Standing back up, he grabs your wrist and drags you along to volleyball practice with him. Regardless of how much his teammates clown him for the change of style, he can’t help but love the smallest gestures from you. And you can’t help but love the way his eyes sparkle when he can clearly see you and the ball.

"How can I miss your game?"

It was once again the day he was waiting for, the 2020 Olympics.

For how many years, Tobio have dreamed of becoming a world famous volleyball player. He would often train hard, pouring his heart on every training and game, he wanted to stand on a court where everyone would know his name, where he would find formidable opponents who were stronger than him.

Today it was his 2nd Olympic game.

You saw how great he played during the Rio Olympics back then, how he was surprised to see you on the bleachers shouting his name even if you told him you didn't had the sufficient money for the plane tickets (he wanted to pay for your tickets but you refused, telling him to save it for his next trip. Tobio was easy to fool)

The last night in Rio, Tobio made it extra special by proposing to you.

It wasn't anything fancy, it didn't happened in a five star restaurant while a classical band was playing. It happened in the busy streets of Rio, where the air was chilly and everyone was having fun including the both of you. The streets was filled with laughter, music, and the smell of street foods that made your mouths water.You two walked beside each other, Tobio holding your hand firmly, scared that you would get lost from the crowd.

While you two were being entertained by a street performer, Tobio took the chance and got down on one knee asking for your hand in marriage. You can easily see how red he was and how he was barely breathing from his nervousness.

"W-will you marry me?"

Without any seconds to lose, you tackled him in a tight hug, the both of you crashing in the ground. You can feel your tears flowing down your cheeks, almost screaming yes in the top of your lungs. You swore Tobio almost short circuited.

“I honestly thought you’re going to say no..” He gently placed your hand over his chest letting you feel his heart beat which was loudly banging through his chest.

“Why would I say no to you? We’ve been together since god knows when.”

Tobio felt at ease with your words, a genuine smile appearing in his lips as he kissed your forehead.

“Seems like you’re going to be mine forever now.”

"I can just wait for you to finish" he offered

"Don't be silly, you'd be late for your game!"

"How about you finish it later? So we can go now?"

You sighed giving up, a smirk plastered over Tobio's lips. He knew you always had a soft spot for him.

"Daddy!"

You both turned around to see your little boy, Hiroto who smiled at the both of you. It freaked you out how he was a splitting image of his father, bearing Tobio’s same ocean blue eyes, the exact sharp features along with the cold intimidating facial expression, and of course, the infamous fringe that sits atop of Hiroto’s head to top it all off, mking him the mini Kageyama Tobio. the only difference they had was Hiroto’s bubbly personality and ever so charming smile.

Tobio swept Hiroto off the bed, ruffling Hiroto’s hair which made his son giggle.

“Are you going to watch daddy today on his game?”

“Yes!”

“Alright, ask your mommy to change your clothes so we can go now.”

Seeing the two love of your lives made your heart melt.

The three of you shortly arrived at the venue, Tobio shortly bid farewell for their practice, kissing the both of you before leaving. Hiroto was on the verge of crying when his uncle Sugawara-san suddenly came to view. He instantly beamed waving at his ojisan, Suga instantly melted from his adorableness picking little Hiroto up as the three of you entered the venue.

Daichi soon arrived surprised to see Hiroto yelling at him, Sugawara being Sugawara, was praising Hiroto and already teaching him how to tease Daichi, much to their entertainment. Then everyone soon came in to view, Tsukishima, Yamaguchi, Yachi, basically everyone. Along with Akaashi who was one of your co-workers in the company you were working now.

“Akaashi, I’m sorry-”

“Hey, it’s okay. I understand. I know how Kageyama- ah, sorry Tobio dragged you here.”

You chuckled, nodding in agreement.

“Well, he’s being extra excited today, it’s Hiroto’s first time watching him live.”

Akaashi was interrupted with a boom of the announcer’s voice. You turned your head when Hiroto went down your lap and started bouncing up and down pointing at his Father who was entering the court.

“Daddy!! Daddy!! That’s my Daddy! Kageyama Tobio the setter!”

"Yes baby, that's your Father."

"DADDY YOU'RE SO COOL!"

Tobio already knew where you were seated, he looked up flashing a smile, waving at the both of you. You smiled waving back to your husband, mouthing a quick good luck.

“hey Hey HEYY!”

Akaashi chuckled hearing Bokuto hyping the arena up. Bokuto searched upon the crowd, his eyes meeting Akaashi's.

"I can see you, Koutarou."

"You two really make a cute couple."

Akaashi blushed at your words, a smile crept in his lips.

"Well, I've always adorned him."

The game started, you and your son were full on cheering mode which hyped Tobio even more. His accuracy was sharper than ever, it made everyone swoon over him. You can see how Tobio was definitely showing off his skills to Hiroto, who was in awe. Whenever they score a point Tobio would sometimes point at the two of you, a proud smile plastered to his face.

Hiroto's eyes darted back and fourth, amazed at his Father's movements. He would jump up and down, bragging his Father to his uncles who were sat nearby. Sugawara was loud as ever, screaming at the top of his lungs whenever Tobio and Hinata would score with their all-time famous demon quick attack.

“I’ve raised those kids!”

“You sure did Suga”

Bokuto was also on fire, annoying his opponents with his swift line shots, and whenever he had the chance, he would look up to Akaashi beaming, Akaashi would nod acknowledging he saw what Bokuto had done.

Hiroto would bounce up and down, with a proud smirk in his face whenever the commentators would praise Tobio with his skills. He would often bug his Uncle Akaashi, asking him if he saw how great his Dad was. Akaashi smiled patting little Hiroto’s head. When Akaashi told Hiroto, Tobio once asked him for tips, Hiroto already grew excited, acknowledging Akaashi as Tobio’s senpai which made everyone around laugh, Sugawara jokingly pouted crossing his arms.

“Hiro-chan! I was Tobio’s original senpai you know!”

The last set was about to conclude, Tobio was still on his top form, tossing to Kourai who did an unexpected feint, shocking his opponents. Everyone cheered wildly, chanting Kourai and Tobio’s name.

“There goes the genius setter Kageyama Tobio along with the little giant Hoshiumi Kourai!”

The match soon concluded, Japan winning today’s match which made you happier. You already made your way to the court along with Akaashi who was already tackled in to a hug by Bokuto.

Hiroto already ran towards his Father, who already kneeled down, his arms wide open ready to catch Hiroto. Hiroto gladly jumped over his Father, not minding the fact that his father was still sweaty.

“You know, I’m covered in sweat.”

“I don’t mind daddy! I want everyone to know that You’re my Father!”

Hinata looked over the two at confusion.

“Kageyama, I didn’t know Miwa-chan already had a child.”

“Hiroto’s mine, Hinata boke!”

Hinata froze, his jaw dropped.

“You have a KID?”

Hiroto looked at Hinata, smiling at him.

“Daddy! That’s Ninja Shouyou!”

“Yes, that’s him.”

You laughed as you walked over to Tobio, planting a soft kiss on his lips. You also greeted Hinata who was still in shock, asking Hiroto if Tobio was really his father.

“Mommy says I exactly look like Daddy!”

“I mean you are, but you’re a kind version of Kageyama.”

Tobio glared at Hinata which scared him, Hiroto smirked patting his Father’s head.

“Alright enough of the banter, Tobio, Hiroto smile at the camera!”

Tobio looked at you, holding over your phone. He smiled carrying little Hiroto over his shoulder. You smiled capturing one of Tobio and Hiiroto’s wholesome moment.

“You did well today.” You say, Tobio smiled proudly, his free hand tugging you in a hug. You chuckled hugging him back.

“I can’t disappoint Hiroto, I pomised him I’ll give my all.”

“Daddy! I want to play how you played too!”

“I thought you wanted to be an ace like Ushiwaka-san?”

“I changed my mind, I want to be a setter like you!”

“Well, we can start training you to set balls properly.”

You chuckled planting a kiss over the both of them

“I’m so proud of you Tobio.”

“I could never had done it without you and Hiroto.”

In your world full of competing over the little things, you both won at the end, having the most wonderful life ahead of you both. Even things were rough, you both managed. You swore you’d never leave him alone, and he did too. He found solace within you, while he was your forever safe haven in this world.

“Y/N?”

“Yes?”

“I love you.”

Day 15: You Are Everything I’ve Never Believed In

He didn’t believe in anything. He couldn’t believe in everything. Friendships. Family.

Love...

He had all of those taken away from him in a single night. From that day on, he refused to believe in anything. Why? Because they weren’t there with him anymore, and he could never restore the memories of his past life. That was until-

*Bump*

Sasuke rubbed his forehead in annoyance at the sudden impact he made on the ground. He looked up at the person who had bumped into him and found a girl with her eyes covered by her bangs. “Watch where you are going.”

“S-Sorry.” She shyly said, still keeping her head down. When she looked up, Sasuke was drawn in by the blankness of her eyes. They were varying shades of white and lavender, but her rosy red cheeks enhanced the tiny twinkles in her eyes.

“U-Um…” He heard her stutter. Sasuke flinched when her hand was in his near view.

“Huh?”

“Do y-you need a hand g-getting up?”

“Tsk.” He slapped her hand away. “I don’t need it.” He said as he stood and walked away.

That had been Sasuke’s first encounter with Hinata Hyuga. An encounter he never thought would turn into one in many.

Sasuke sighed into the blue sky, his mind stuck on the Forest of Death exam. From Naruto saving him from Orochimaru to Sakura taking on two ninjas while protecting him and Naruto. All in the name of what? Friendship? “Pathetic.”

There was no such thing as friendship. People betray others. They stab each other in the backs for their selfish reasons and leave one thinking what their fault in all of this was? What had Sasuke deserved to be betrayed like that by Itachi? What had he-

*Quak* *quak* *quak*

Sasuke raised an eyebrow at the sudden sound of ducks. It was then he remembered that he had walked so far into the Konoha forest that he found himself sitting by the little water stream again. The sunlight shone through the tall leaves above him. Sasuke released a breath of relief at the silence of nature.

How he wished his world could stay like this forever. He didn’t need anyone. He didn’t need to rely on anybody. For that reason he didn’t need to believe in anything for he had himself in the very end.

He looked over his shoulder at the intruding eyes on his back. “What are you doing here?”

He saw her make a tiny jump and fiddle with her fingers as she searched for the words. He sighed and looked back at the water until he heard her footsteps approaching. “I asked you, what are you doing here?”

“I-I’m here to f-f-feed the ducks.”

She knelt down beside Sasuke. Sasuke was a bit taken aback by how comfortable she was by his side and shifted a little to make some space. He watched as she opened a bag that contained huge chunks of bread. Sasuke sharpened his eyes. When she took a piece out and was about to offer one of the ducks, he stopped her. “What are you doing?”

“Eh? F-F-Feeding the ducks…”

Sasuke mentally facepalmed at how the benightedness coloured each and every word of hers. “Those pieces are too big for a duck.”

“Really?”

Sasuke snatched the piece out of her fingers and broke them into smaller pieces. He let his hand out and waited for the ducks to walk over to him. When they did his eyes were back at the lavender eyed girl whose name he never got despite being her classmate.

When he felt that he had stared her down enough he spoke again. “Good grief. Is this the first time you are feeding ducks?”

She was again playing with pressing her fingers against each other. “Y-Yes.”

Sasuke let an exaggerated sigh escape his mouth. She jumped a little from that. Though Sasuke was getting increasingly annoyed by all the stupid poeple around him, at least she wasn’t a Sakura who would pounce at him or a Naruto who would pick a fight for any reason.

“You, what’s your name?”

“Me?” Sasuke nearly lashed at her for that. She giggled at his reaction and Sasuke quickly regained his composure. “M-My name is Hyuuga Hinata. And yours?”

Sasuke was shocked by her question. He pointed to himself. “You… you don’t know who I am?.”

Hinata chuckled again. “I-I do. But w-w-we never got to for-formally introduce ourselves.”

Sasuke wanted to make a slick comment but she wasn’t wrong. And a very tiny part of him liked how different she was compared to the rest. “My name is Uchiha Sasuke.”

She nodded and smiled at him. Though Sasuke didn’t smile back, he did look away to hide the surprised look on his face. Her smile, unlike others, was genuine. No ill intent was meant by it. No plat gateway to a confession. No initiation for a physical brawl. None of that. When he looked back, Hinata was in the midst of breaking down the huge bread pieces.

Sasuke couldn’t explain the feeling. But he somehow wanted a reaction out of her since she had managed to get a rise out of him. Twice. So he aggressively snatched the bag from her lap and began breaking down the bread himself. Although her eyes showed bewilderment, there was no sign of annoyance or irritation. When Hinata reached her hand into the bag, Sasuke pushed it out of her reach. “I’ll do it.”

Hinata smiled again. “O-Okay.” - “Oi!” - “T-Then I-I will feed them with the pieces you have already broken down.”

“Hinata!”

Hinata only responded with a surprised chuckle which she hid with her palm in such an elegant manner he nearly saw a flash of his mother. Sasuke sat back, trying to glue his eyes to the bag of bread but stealing a few glances here and there.

Sasuke and Hinata proceeded to feed the ducks in peace as they took in the sounds of mother nature. Although no words were spoken, Sasuke found it dare he say… fun? Relaxing, actually. To spend his free time on this. He had seen the ducks around a few times but never bothered with him. But now, he couldn’t believe he was feeding them.

As the last piece was gone, both ninjas sat back and admired as the blue sky emerged into a mixture of an orange and pink.

“I never got to ask but, why did you come to feed the ducks?”

Hinata hugged her knees. “I just felt like it.”

Sasuke didn’t believe her. Especially since her voice had taken a more sad tone to it than before. As he was speculating about it, he noticed a small case in her pocket making its way out. When Hinata moved due to Sasuke’s actions, the round case fell out. Both reached out for it and in that moment Sasuke’s hand made contact with her wrist. Hinata winced.

“What’s wrong?”

Hinata shook her head. “It’s nothing. It’s just minor bruises from training.”

Sasuke looked at her for a minute before shrugging. She was a ninja and training could get quite vigorous at times so he let it go.

“Sasuke-kun?” Hinata asked a while later.

“Hm?” He noticed how she was stuttering anymore.

“Say if you knew someone who was better than you at everything, what would you do to prove to them and everybody else that you were worth it regardless?”

Sasuke grimaced when that was a question his younger self would constantly ask himself. Itachi was better at him in everything. He learned everything at a much younger age and mastered them that same age. He was admired by everybody for that reason. He was especially favoured by his father for that reason. While Sasuke… Sasuke was left to fend for himself until his father would even bother with him.

Yet, he couldn’t think of an answer. He looked at Hinata whose eyes were staring at the water. He never wanted to appear weak or vulnerable to anyone but... Hinata. He couldn’t sense any ulterior motive behind her question. Everything about Hinata, in the little time he had been with her, was genuine, pure and… kind. It brought him back to the time he had bumped into her and how she carried herself in that situation. Just pure elegance and innocence on her part. It was for those reasons that he didn’t mind opening up with her this time. Something he hoped wouldn’t be the biggest mistake of his life.

“To be honest with you, I don’t know.”

Hinata looked at Sasuke while he continued. “I think, no matter what, as long as you improve in your own skills,” he looked at her, “everything will work out.”

“Did that happen to you?”

Sasuke smirked. “No, not yet.”

Since then, Sasuke and Hinata would frequently find themselves by the stream sharing stories between each other. Hinata would always forget to cut the bread into tiny pieces but those moments while they were breaking down the bread were precious. There was the time when baby ducklings crawled all over him when he had tried to get a reaction out of Hinata again. They had managed to overwhelm him, invading his clothes even to which he made the most animated movements to get them out. All the while Hinata was laughing, not chuckling, but laughing! Something she had never done. She always held back or would suppress it.

Sasuke shot a shuriken at the tree dummy. Another time they had dwelled into a heavy part in both of their childhoods of being neglected by their fathers. When Sasuke was about to ask Hinata about her father’s treatment of her, she had thrown off her shows, rolled up her pants and dashed into the water. Sasuke found himself speechless and was going to ask again until he noticed how bright and warm her smile was as she splashed her feet in the stream. Hinata’s smile, over time, had become his favorite part about her. How, despite the mistreatment from her Clan, she still found it in her to smile and be happy. She was still so kind and welcoming of others, even for a person like himself who had been cold towards her in the beginning. He never felt like upholding his cold demeanour which, he had come to learn, was exhausting to force all the time. But with Hinata, he could actually enjoy himself. Something he thought he couldn’t do anymore because of his goal of killing his brother and restoring the clan.

Sasuke flashed before the dummy and kicked its side. Following that he made it a goal to make her smile at least once at their every encounter. Even going as far as dragging her into the water when he saw her face turn into a grimace. In fact, he couldn’t wait to meet her. He couldn’t wait to see what other nonsense they would find themselves in. Sasuke grinned. Those nonsense moments he had come to cherish a lot. Those moments always slipped into his mind during training, which had his team shocked at Sasuke who grinned once from a memory.

He had come to care for Hinata a lot. He didn’t want to feed the ducks with anybody but her. He didn’t want to indulge in funny banters with anyone but her. He didn’t want to show his playful side, the aspect of him that he had lost, with anyone but her. “She probably doesn’t know how much she has impacted me, does she?”

He had succeeded in making her smile, except for today. He had noticed a lack of energy and it was further confirmed by the dark rings under her eyes. But for some reason, those marks didn’t seem like regular bags under the eye.

The starry night had befallen Konoha and Sasuke was panting as he finished his last round of shurikens with the wooden dummy. As he walked through the trees, he spotted another training ground with an individual laying on the floor. “Hinata!”

Sasuke dashed over to Hinata and knelt down to her. The minute he had done so she shot her eyes open, sitting upright. “S-Sasuke-kun.”

“What happened?!”

“I-I was just t-t-training.” Hinata saw the concern in Sasuke’s eyes and blushed. She had grown fond of Sasuke over the time that they had spent together and although she knew he wouldn’t reciprocate her feelings. She gave him a tiny smile. “I’m fine, really.”

Sasuke internally rolled his eyes as he had observed that whenever she stopped stuttering it would be because she was hiding something that was bothering her. He offered her his hand.

Hinata smiled at the gesture and absentmindedly took it, not minding the breeze moving her sleeve downwards.

Sasuke shot his eyes down to her wrist that was covered in a bluish colour. “What’s with that wound?!”

Sasuke clapped his lips shut by his aggressive reaction. He shook his pride away and pressed her to answer the question, watching as her mouth began to waver.

“I just went overboard with training.”

“Hinata.” He grabbed her chin in his other hand.

Hinata felt her tears building up and tried her best to- too late, for the stream of salty water ran down her cheeks. “I was beat by him again!”

She tried to wring herself out of Sasuke’s grip and winced in the process, but instead Sasuke grabbed her other wrist. “Hinata.”

“It was Neji-nii-san! He will always be better than me! There is nothing I can do to beat him and because of that father will never approve of me!”

“Hinata.”

Hinata cried as she hastily tried to free herself. “I will never be good enough! Not for Neji-nii-san, father… me.”

Sasukes’ eyes widen by the last word. Me. She was never going to be good enough for herself. Sasuke absentmindedly loosened his grip which allowed her to break free. Before he got to know Hinata, Sasuke never felt fulfilled. Not that there was nothing missing. But.. there was nothing because he didn’t believe in anything. Nothing to him meant anything. But all of that changed when he met her. She showed him that there was something worth believing in. Friendship. Family. L… Love.

Love. Yes, the one thing Sasuke believed was non existent ever since his whole Clan was massacred. He never thought he could love or be loved but… Sasuke looked at Hinata’s sorrowful wailing. There was something to believe in. There was a reason to believe in something. That something being love, and the person who showed him that was- “Hinata.”

Sasuke gently took her tiny hands into his, locking his eyes with hers. “You will always be enough for me.”

Hinata whimpered, swallowing the heavy lump in her throat. “Always?”

….

The corners of Sasuke’s mouth cranked upwards, to a point where his cheeks were indented with tiny holes. Sasuke happily smiled at Hinata, the dearest person he knew. “Always.”

Sasuke didn’t believe in anything. Sasuke couldn’t believe in everything. Friendships. Family. Love. That was until he met her. The girl who became the only person Sasuke trusted, cared for and most of all, loved. His feelings for Hinata kept growing in ways he didn’t know. All this time he thought that he loved her for the good friend she was to him. But on that night where she came running into his arms about how much she had missed him the moment he stepped inside of Konoha after going with Orochimaru, he couldn’t stop himself anymore.

Sasuke gave Hinata’s hand a tiny squeeze as they stood on a bridge, looking over the water.

Sasuke, still holding her hand, leaned against the bridge with his arms crossed against the wood. Hinata placed her other hand on the bridge.

Sasuke looked into the sky and basked in peach-colored sky. “Bakanata.” A nickname he would often call her. Not that he meant it, but it was the first and only thing that would make her react in a way Sasuke found dearing.

When Hinata was about to speak, Sasuke stopped her with his finger on her lips. “I didn’t believe in friendships, family or love.”

“S-Sasuke-kun.” She said through his finger.

Sasuke chuckled and removed his finger. He leaned away from the bridge and stood in front her, holding both of her hands. Slightly leaning himself down on her so their foreheads touched. “You are everything that I didn’t believe in.”

Hinatas’ eyes widened and widened even further when Sasuke captured her lips in a passionate kiss. When he pulled back, she pouted. “W-Why d-did you have to st-stop so soon?”

Sasuke again chuckled. “Hinata, I love you.”

Hinata giggled with him. “I love you, Sasuke-kun.”

They were huddled next to each other in the loveseat of Hinata's shared apartment with Sakura. It was a lazy Sunday afternoon, with her pink haired roommate locked up in her bedroom, nose deep into her textbooks for the ongoing exams. Hinata was already done with hers the previous week, so now she could focus on her boyfriend of two months.

Uzumaki Naruto, was grinning like a cheshire cat, after Hinata had answered his question. They were talking and sharing about their firsts. Every little or insignificant firsts.

From their first preschool, first part time job, first vacation, to their first best friend, first memorable gift and first movie. Although they went to the same middle and high school, they went around in different circles. Sometimes the circles merged and coincided, but they were still only more than acquaintances.

They got significantly closer when they went to the same university, and when she started living with Sakura. In their sophomore year, Naruto asked Hyuuga Hinata out on a date, after Sakura drunkenly spilled at a party about how her meek flatmate had a major crush on him. She agreed ecstatically and he thanked his destiny for the turn of events. Because now, he was positively crazy about his midnight haired gorgeous (and hella sexy) girlfriend. Seriously, this was beyond imagination. The loud wayward soccer playing blonde and the prim proper posh heiress?

Anyway, Naruto being Naruto, asked her about her first crush. He didn't have to answer the question himself, because she already knew the answer to it. It was her flatmate and good friend, Haruno Sakura. He was a pre-teen and she was one of his neighbours. It just happened, but eventually he moved on from those feelings as they became close friends.

For Hinata, it was not the best feeling in the world to be aware of it, but she was above feeling petty or jealous. Especially now that he was her boyfriend.

The petite curvy woman blushed profusely when it was her turn to answer the question. Her legs bent over Naruto's lap, as she fidgeted and replied in a small voice.

"It was you."

Naruto was still for a second. "I'm sorry?"

She huffed cutely and repeated her answer at the same time that he blurted out his confusion.

"It was you."

"Did you say it was me??!!"

If Naruto wasn't already feeling comfortable and smug, now he was superbly comfortable and obnoxiously smug.

"Woah woah woah Missy, you never told me about that. You've been holding out, haven't you?"

Okay, so now she was flustered and folded her arms to defend herself. "N-no…. You never asked me… I-It never came up before…"

He put his arm over her calves to squash any chance of escape.

"When was this?", he interrogated.

"Umm…. When we were 13-14….Maybe…", she replied shyly.

"Interesting.", he hummed and scratched his prickly chin. "Hold on… Is that why you sometimes used to faint when I spoke to you??", he asked wondrously, as if it all came together in his mind in a eureka moment.

Hinata covered her face with her hands and nodded her head. "Can we please talk about something else?"

"Hmm….", he leered at her. "Well, sure, it must've been impossible to resist my charm…", he commented refusing to change the topic.

She smacked his arm playfully and pouted. "You're impossible… I don't think I'm good for your ego…."

He pulled her closer by her waist and bumped her nose with his.

"No baby, you're perfect for my everything.", he said in that deep husky baritone that made her spine tingle.

Their lips found each other in a passionate kiss that had them both drowning out their surroundings. So when they heard a loud bang of a door, Hinata pulled away from his puckered lips to gasp for air and looked at the perpetrator.

"Sorry, I was worried that he would gobble you up alive.", Sakura commented from the bedroom door with a poker face. Her short pink hair was unruly and tangly, and she was still in her pajamas from yesterday. She went to the kitchen while muttering something about ungrateful people showing off their relationship to lonesome singles.

Naruto and Hinata snickered and cuddled closer.

"Hey Sakura, ya know?... Hinata had the hots for me even in middle school…", he boasted while Hinata tried to cover his mouth with her palms.

"Good for you.", Sakura commented nonchalantly as she went back to her room with a can of lemon soda.

As soon as her door closed, Naruto turned Hinata's chin towards him and continued their make out. They had been dating for a little less than two months, and had only gotten to second base. Not that he was complaining. He was serious about this relationship and he didn't want to rush Hinata into doing something she wasn't sure of. But it was just oh-so-hard to keep his hands off her.

She had mentioned about her being a virgin a week or two back. So he knew, if he did things right, he would be her first lover. For him, unfortunately, that train had departed two years back, when he and Sasuke were invited to their first soccer match after party that was off the hook crazy. They both had lost their virginity that night.

Not to each other! Thank God for that!

Some horny seniors found them cute and wanted to congratulate them. Personally.

Hinata was a little shocked and flustered when he told her that. But she didn't hold it against him.

When they parted for air again, he moved his hand from the swell of her voluptuous chest under her shirt to the smooth skin at her waist. Dejectedly of course, he had to calm his hard-on.

He cleared his throat to distract her attention from his condition.

"So, safe to say, that since I am your first crush and your first boyfriend, I must be your first kiss too.", he concluded smugly.

"W-w-what?!!", she suddenly looked nervous. Not blushing nervous but pale, drained out of blood nervous.

"Your first kiss…", he repeated. "Must be me… Right?"

"Uh… Y-yeah…", she replied in an oddly high pitched tone that was not her at all. She abruptly got up from the seat and walked to the kitchen.

"I'm thirsty… Y-you want a drink Naruto~kun?"

Naruto narrowed his eyes at the retreating back of his girlfriend. Something was not right. From what he knew about her, she was bad at lying. He knew this first hand, from the few times her conservative and strict father would inopportunely call her during their date or private make out time. And she would horribly lie with some lame excuse in the similar high pitched tone like she had used just now. Either her dad did not know her at all or was just bad at reading people and emotions, because he bought it everytime.

Naruto got up from his seat and followed her, cornering her against the refrigerator.

"Come on, spill it.", he said caging her between his arms.

"Spill what?", she tried to act clueless.

"Who was your first kiss?", he was unrelenting in his pursuit. That's how he has always been.

"Umm… Who was yours?", she tried to flip it towards him.

He knew what she was doing. But he was not going to let her off so easily. He would get her question out of the way first.

"You know it. You were there. I'm not going to talk about it anymore than that."

Hinata giggled into his chest, when she remembered the hilarious moment from few years back. Kiba had pushed Naruto jokingly onto Sasuke at the canteen which had led to a lip smack of sorts that left a distaste in the mouths of the two. It was a spectacle for the whole school. Suffice to say, Kiba earned a black eye and a sore jaw, while Naruto and Sasuke were in detention for the whole week.

"Yeah, yeah, laugh all you want. But I'm not letting you off easily. Who was it?"

It didn't bother him that she had already had her first kiss. What got to him, was her reaction at the reminder of it. Was it that memorable? Was the guy a better kisser than him? Does she have some remnant feelings for him?

"I…. I can't tell you… It's embarrassing…", she muttered unsurely.

But the more she held out, the more curious he became. He would have to coax it out of her.

"Come on babe….It can't be more embarrassing than mine…. Who is it?... Tell me… Is it someone I know?"

Hinata grew silent for a few seconds before nodding her head slowly.

"Someone from our group of friends?"

Again, she gave a small nod.

Okay, may be he was not going to be okay after all. Now, his mind went into overdrive thinking about who it could be. She was not saying anything, so he had to start guessing.

"Was it Kiba?"

She shook her head.

"Shino?"

Again, a negative.

"Don't tell it's the bastard… It's Sasuke, isn't it?"

"What? No!!"

"Then tell me who it was, unless you want me to go crazy thinking about it.", he grasped her shoulders and brought her closer.

Hinata pushed him away gently and moved away to face her back towards him. She just could not say it to his face.

She started explaining softly, but it was loud enough for him to hear. "I… I-it was at the sleepover party for Sakura's 16th birthday… We were playing truth or dare… It was my turn, and I had to choose dare because I had been playing safe with truth until then… Tenten already knew that I liked you…. But the other didn't… So she just asked me to french kiss someone who was blonde for one whole minute… She knew that you were Sakura's neighbour… The girls said they would help me get into your home… So they did.. And they had to also make sure I completed my dare… I was really really nervous…. When we got into the back garden, we saw you from the window that you were busy playing video games with Sasuke, Shikamaru and Chouji."

Naruto felt like his heart was about to burst from all the mystery. But she did say that it was not Sasuke, which means it must have been Shikamaru or Chouji then.

He didn't interrupt her, so she continued.

"We waited for you to go to the toilet or something… I had made up my mind to do the dare, come what may… The girls even tried to discreetly throw pebbles at the window, but you never got up to check. Only Sasuke did. We hid from his view and waited for him to go back. After trying everything for almost half hour, we decided it might not happen. Tenten said it was not fair that I didn't do my dare. So she insisted that I kiss any other blonde. And… W-well…. Umm… There was someone blonde with us… Ino… She said I could kiss her…. And just to get it over with, I did… It was…. Uncomfortable… A little unpleasant…. But not a lot, of course not… It was Ino after all… She had a clean minty mou-"

Hinata stopped her rant when she heard a loud thud behind her. Naruto fainted and fell on the floor.

"Naruto~kun!!!!", she screamed and ran to his side and shook his body. "Naruto~kun!!"

"Are you guys f*cking in the middle of the day?!! ", Sakura shouted angrily as she came out of her room.

"Sakura~san!!", Hinata called her for help. "Naruto~kun has fainted… Please help him…."

Sakura instantly was by his side, checking for his vitals. She asked Hinata to get some water. But when she noticed the tiny trail of blood from his nose, she grew worried. She looked down his body, and was aghast to see the reason.

The tent under his cotton joggers was unmistakable. She snarled and got up just to kick him on his sides.

"F*cking Pervert!!", she screamed at the top of her lungs.

"Naruto~kun!!", Hinata who was horrified, kneeled down to protect him, and unintentionally spilled the mug, in the process.

If the kick didn't awaken Naruto, the splash of cold water on his groins definitely did.

Cinderella AU

So a heads up. I was previously @lu-haikyuu I lost that account :(anyways this is a repost. To clarify I am the writer and owner of this fanfic👉👈

This AU I wrote inspired by @kos-tyan art work of Hinata and Kageyama Cinderella AU fanart they made♡

His pale hands were marked with spots of red and muddy purple. He’d been cleaning the floor for hours, the wet rag never seemed to clean as effectively as it should or maybe it was his evil step brothers who walked in and out dragging not only dirt into the house but there sneer comments as well.

“Oops! I think you misses a spot,” the spoiled brat sneered at him, “better hurry or you’ll never make it to the ball!”

His laugh was neither enjoyable or pleasant it sounded as if though you dragged nails on a chalkboard while babies screamed.

Hinata just bit the inside of his cheek trying not to talk back the voice of his stepmother ringing clearly, “You talk back once and its no ball for you!”

They had left him on his own as his mind reeled. An Hinata had finally finished cleaning the floors as well as waxing. He walked with heavy arms and feet up the stairs. Sighing with relief when his body landed like a rock on the bed, as the stingy frame creaked.

The door opened slightly and there stood Natsu, her muted brown dress all splotched. Threads sticking out from every direction.

“Come here. I’ll fix that stingy thing for you real quick!”

Natsu shook her head full of striking orange hair, “ No Onii-chan! You must rest, tonights the ball after all!”

Hinata chuckled a bit. Tired or not, Natsu was his only remaining blood. After both their mother and father died, Natsu became Hinata’s life. But as she grew older, more independent Hinata felt lonesome.

He stood from bed grabbed some needles, a needle cushion, thread and began working away. Adjusting those loose strands in a flash.

“There all done, see? No time at all either way I have to finish working on my tux for the ball!”

Natsu’s eyes held specks of glitter, “Oh! Can I see how it looks like? Pleaseee!”

Hinata stood up from his bent down position and walked to the corner of the room there stood a mannequin wearing a almost completed tux.

Blue in cloth color and trimmed in the edges with gold/yellow lining. All gathered from discarded materials and clothes from his step brothers. All that was missing were the final buttons and he would be done.

“Wow that looks amazing!”

Hinata flustered a bit and nodded, “Thanks Natsu.”

Soon enough the step mothers cried for help were heard and Natsu stood up to do so. Not before saying, “I’ll go Onii-chan, you finish your tux and don’t have too much fun!”

Hinata was about to protest but his sister had already left. He began to humm a lullaby his mother sang to him a long time ago. As tiny baby crows flocked to his window peering from the edge to see the dancing ball of orange fluff.

Once complete, he swifty changed his clothes. The sun no longer shone as bright so it was safe to assume some hours had passed by.

An although the sun wasn’t as bright, Hinata sure was. As he saw his hard work on himself, he look amazing. No longer the markings of a peasant.

He twirled around as excitment drew near, it was almost time for the ball! Oh how much did he want to go! Socialize and make a multitude of friends, he even heard the prince was quite the looker.

He knew many girls would want him as a suitor but it was well known that the prince preferred men. So his step brothers were out for the hunt.

But his peaceful moment was interrupted when he was called down stairs. Still in hi suit in all he walked as he saw his step brothers dressed in over the top clothes with [quite dreadful] ruffles.

“Hinata you forgot this mark!”

“N-No I didn’t it must have been made recently”

“Are you calling your step brothers liars?!”

“N-no! Its just-”

“Mother! I dare say isn’t that MY clothes? As well as my dear younger brother?!”

The oldest of the two walked to Hinata and gripped the suit.

“N-Now wait! Its clothes you’ve discarded and-”

But Hinata was silenced by the gasp of the older step brother and as he ripped the sleeve. The younger one followed, each devil pointing out where or what the cloth was taken from.

Till Hinata laid sat down, head facing the dirt mark, suit in shreds. His step mother towered over him, her menacing shadow ending any sunlight that hit him.

“You shall not go to the ball! This behavior is unacceptable! You will stay here with Natsu and clean the dishes all night!” An dare he say he saw a smirk graze her wicked face.

Soon the carriage arrived and the bumbling devils left the home. Hinata walked upstairs to his room and cried as the little crows flied near him. One began to peck at his toes, he sniffled.

“W-what?”

The little crow hopped from one place to another. Moving, flapping its wings toward outside.

“I have to go help Natsu”

The little birdie did not care and began to peck him on the head.

“Ow! Ow! Okay, okay I’ll go!”

The little birdie flew out the window as Hinata walked to follow it. It lead him to a patch of clear forest, no shrubs or weeds in sight as a beautiful river laid on the middle.

He walked around and saw his reflection, the mess he was and began to cry. His dream ruined, crushed.

But he stopped. When he felt a hand be placed on his shoulder, looking up his eyes widened.

A man with silver hair, warm golden eyes and a mole under one wearing a robe smiled down on him.

“Don’t fret my boy! I’ll help you go to the ball!”

Hinata sniffled as he stood up, “Why would you do that for me?”

The robed man lifted one hand from beneath his robe revealing his wand, “Well i’m your Fairy Godfather after all!”

Hinata eyes widened as he looked at the man who was chatting with the crow from earlier.

“I know Asahi! Can it or I won’t turn you back,” he cleared his throat and turned to Hinata.

“Now my boy. You want to go to the ball yes?”

“Yes! I really do!”

His Fairy Godfather waved his wand, “well you going to need a new tux and a carriage while your at it too!”

“Bibbity Boppity Boo!” He began to chant and sing as he moved. Specks of magic wrapped themselves around Hinata and his ruined suit became a art piece. Patterns and stitches so complex not even the best tailor in town could compete with. The small pumpkin the crow had brought turned into a huge carriage and the crow from before turned into a tall, long haired bearded man that stood handling the horses that were once mice.

Hinata stared in awe as he began to choke up, “Thank you!”

“Your welcome but be warned! The magic will wear off once the clock strikes midnight!”

He pushed Hinata to the carriage and he rode off, his heart pumping.

When he arrived, the grand staircase greeted him as royalty and nobles from across the land arrived. He mingled with them actively avoiding his step mother and brothers. Although they possibly couldn’t have recognized him.

As he walked he caught eye of his step brother dancing with the prince he was wearing a white suit trimmed with a golden color. Hinata thought the prince looked absolutely beautiful. His stepbrother on the other hand kept stepping on the princes toes. An Hinata suppressed a giggle and once the music stopped and there dance was over the prince caught the sight of orange hair.

Their gazes met and Hinata flushed. Then the prince pointed at him and declared, “You, dance with me.”

Hinata awkwardly stumbled to him as his step brothers and mother glared at him. Yet did not recognized him as the prince grabbed his hand. He planted a kiss on it and Hinata fumed as he began to blabber.

But it all halted as the music started and they danced. Hinata peering into the princes magical blue eyes. His dark hair , strong arms. Hinata realized he didn’t want the dance to end. An for the rest of the time the prince had Hinata by his side as the people whispered amongst themselves.

“Who is that boy with orange hair? What is he doing with Prince Kageyama!?”

Hintas step mothered glared as realization hit her, “No idea.”

Meanwhile Hinata and Kageyama talked all night, finding multiple common grounds and differences. Everything was paradise.

Until Hinata heard the clock chime as the clock struck 12. He began to panic and tole the unsure prince, “I-I have to go!”

Kageyama tried to grab his hand, “Wait! Where can I find you!”

But Hinata was already off, running leaving nothing in his awake, besides a stand of orange hair. He hopped on his carriage and was able to get home just in time before the carriage transformed into a pumpkin and the horses into mice.

The next week Hinatas mind was occupied with thoughts of the dreamy prince. Until a marshall came and declared that every house hold would be checked for orange hair. Hinata’s eyes widened, he was looking for him?!

An when the knock came to the door Hinata rushed to open it, but was stopped by his “family”.

“Don’t even think about it! We already saw you with the prince at the ball that night!”

One brother had Natsu in his grasped and forced Hinata inside his room with his sister. Locked the door as he shouted and banged on it.

The marshall had come in with prince Kageyama. His blue eyes scanned the room, two orange haired boys stood peering at him. He grabbed the strand of orange hair and held it to there’s for comparison.

“Its too dark” he scowled.

“Oh your majesty you must be mistaken! It is clearly the colo-”

“Its not” his voice was gruff, it was not his hair. It was too dark. The marshall and the prince were about to leave, bodies half way through the door. When Hinata ran into the room, pink and sweating. The prince turned back to see his eyes wide.

“Its you!” The prince shouted as he pushed aside the protesting mother and step brothers.

He held his strand of hair to Hinata and it was a perfect match. The prince hugged him in a warm embraced and spin him around.

(A few months later)

Hinata stood in the palace nervous as his Fairy God Father, Suga giggled.

“You’ll be fine!”

Hinata stuttered, “I-I’m getting married!”

Natsu giggled as she spin in her adorable dress with bows on it.

Suga adjusted Hinatas tie and pushed him to enter the door. There as he walked down the aisle he saw Kageyama standing handsome as ever.

His step mother and brothers no where to be seen, doomed to wash palace dishes for lifetime.

As a Hinata and Kageyama were seen kissing through the carriage windows. Flying off to their own happily ever after.

Hinata walked hand in hand out of the church with his prince. As crows flew and petals rained from the sky, bells ringing symphonies of happiness.
