It feels like we spend our entire lives planning. Planning for a future, planning not to repeat ours or someone else's mistakes, planning to meet a goal we or someone else has set out. And a lot of times we get so rigid and focused in our "plan" that we lose sight of the underlying intention, and we lose sight of all the changes that may occur in the journey. Our purpose may have changed, other opportunities may have presented themselves - but if we've got our head down the entire time, we may miss it entirely. Plan, if you need. Oh hip openers... I used to hate how uncomfortable and grumpy it made me feel. Some people hold emotions and stress in their hips, so releasing them can feel quite overwhelmingly emotional. But over time, with lots of practice, I've learnt to relax and simply let go. Emotions would unfold, but there is no need to participate. Instead, simply witness. And let it be. Let it flow and let it go. And over time this practice of letting go has expanded beyond the mat. Relax, let go. Emotions will come and go. Be a witness. And simply be. . So much ❤️ and gratitude for this practice. .
