thinking about how ghost and the hollow knight were so different YALL what if the whole “stasis” thing in the kingdom had like. a nationwide effect. like obviously the vessels are dead but they literally cannot molt on their own because there is a pause on fucking life cycles in hallownest. the hollow knight had to be trained to prime form because NOBODY CAN GROW ON THEIR OWN. hollow needed DIVINE POWER to be able to get TALLER.

Gods in HK mostly fight for land right??? But also what if when you kill a god, you take their domain too?? And sometimes, in rare cases, a descendant of a god can take on their domain (cough hollow and pk cough), so it'd stand to reason that gods would ALSO fight for more powerful domains right?? Right???

So I kinda see PK and Radi's domains to be both completely different but also WAY too similar (hence why they clash so much)

Bc like. Mind and dreams. They’re both to do with a person’s psyche, but PK is based on logic and reason, while Radi and her dreams are often completely nonsensical.

SO when Ghost kills Radi, they take on her domain

Later, once Hollow has healed, they go back to the palace and find PK’s body on the throne (idfk menderbugs put him back) and takes PK’s domain (bc how badass does “god of mind and nothingness” sound?!!)

And for the first time in history, the god of mind and the god of dreams not only live in peace, but live together as family

ALSO post canon Hollow and Ghost ruling New Hallownest together and after a few centuries become known as the “twin rulers” and eventually they just stop correcting people lmao

Place an elder baldur, it places its shield the baldur shell, every turn baldur shell places a rolling baldur that can attack an entire lane AND the player all at once

Baldur shell took damage ? no worries, place menderbug and it'll fix it right up, but careful : nothing can protect that mendy boy from an opposing rolling baldur

you know it occurs to me that being into HK and D2 means there's two characters named Ghost. anyways, I think they would be great friends. I mean the young wolf and Ghost (hk) both basically do the same thing (no talk, do funny, hyper murder).

Ghost D2 having to babysit both of them...

I feel like they would get along swimmingly, but that the Young Wolf may actually have to protect Ghost from Ghost before Ghost figures out that you don't swing nails at Ghost. They're very polite for a baby god but they kinda have that 'learn the world by bapping it' thing that cats have which has lead to the deaths of friendly fellows in the past (cough menderbug cough), so you gotta introduce them carefully so that baby doesn't bap the space cube

question. what was menderbug on about? like with the whole "menderbash" n all that? and his crush on "mender berri"? WHERE WAS IT??? is it outside of hallownest??? is there a small refugee site of menderbugs in that old village???? was he just dreaming due to the infection???? it's never said if the infection cloud he emits when he dies is intentional or not. yall i am in AGONY
