#homegrownkcadventure: The Original Kansas City, KS Last weekend I visited the Wyandotte County Museum to see their current special exhibit on the original KCK from its founding in 1868 to its consolidation into the "new" Kansas City, KS in 1886. The exhibit discusses how the city was first settled, immigration, the meatpacking industry particularly the Armour Packing Co, education, religion, and the environment. The exhibit ends Feb 18, 2023. I also spoke with Directory Amy Loch about this exhibit. Patron episode will be available tomorrow. #homegrownkcadventure: Chiefs vs Browns @Arrowhead Stadium! AKA my First Chiefs Game @Arrowhead!
My former co-worker called me late Thursday night and said, "my sister and I have an extra pair of tickets to the game on Saturday. Do you and your grandmother want to come?" Yes!! We had VIP Parking. Got there early & tailgated. We sat behind the end zone in section 235 of the Club Level! Browns got 3 touchdowns in the 1st Quarter 🤯😡 but we came back in the second half and won! So much fun. What an incredible experience!
