You and your cute adepti girlfriend ganyu had planned a date! She said that she wanted to spend more time with you if things get more hectic the next coming weeks you knew that she would become more busy so you agreed. But...right now...she was..a bit late...well actually..no she was really late.

I mean this was kinda normal and you figured that she probably fell asleep in her office..this wasn’t the first time, this was actually the third time this happened and honestly you tried to understand that it was because she was busy with work but...it was too much!

You waited..and waited..and waited...and....waited..but...she didn’t come...

You grit your teeth and got up the chair and walked out of the restaurant walking to where Ganyu worked, Walking inside her office you saw Keqing and Ganyu talking to each other about plans or something. And you lost it....she forgot your date because of....keqing!?

Was she more important then you? her own lover?

While you were lost in your emotions, Ganyu had noticed you and got up to greet you looking completely carefree...

‘’Love! What brings you here?’’ Wow...she really forgot....

You just glared at her and answered ‘’Here to see where you were...having fun with her? Instead of fulfilling the promise of a date for your own lover!?’’ You couldn't handle it yelled at her which in respond she flinched back. You widen your eyes and just turn back walking out of the building....crying.

‘’You..had a date with them, Ganyu?’’ The yuheng of the qixing asked and Ganyu just lowered her head blaming herself....she can’t believe she forgot about the date she promised you..all because she was blinded with work...you had always told her to take a break from it...to at least spend time with you...

She slowly felt tears falling from her face, ‘’H-huh!? G-ganyu get ahold of yourself!’’ Keqing said holding her shoulders slowly shaking her.

‘’W-w-what do I do..? Y-y/n might leave me because of how much I neglected them...’’ She said choking her words, sobbing more.

Keqing looked at her best friend in worry...but she knew you wouldn’t leave Ganyu just because of this....

‘’Listen..y/n would never leave you because of this..what’s best you can do right now is...’’ She paused thinking before opening her mouth again ‘’What you can do is..apologize and make it up to y/n’’ Keqing said, comforting Ganyu.

Ganyu looked at her best friend with hope and determination in her eyes, She nodded and got up, Wiping her tears and running out of her workplace to your shared home.

She opened the door to your shared home and walked to you guys’ bedroom. Her heart broke when she saw the state you were in....

You were crying..sobbing..while hugging a picture of you and her together.....

‘’Y-y/n?’’ She called your name approaching you slowly, You looked up at her with tear stained and swollen eyes before responding ‘’W-w-what?’’ With your voice all shaken up and stained...

You sniff and hugged her tightly making Ganyu shocked she nuzzled her head into your neck and hugged you tightly.

‘’Please don’t....leave me y/n..’’ Ganyu said, voice shaking. You nod and hug her closer ‘’I...I won’t..but...would you leave me for...Keqing?’’ You asked, your insecurities building up.

Ganyu’s eyes widen and she puled away from you ‘’N-never! She is just my best friend, my love..I..would never never choose someone else over you...’’ Ganyu said while rubbing your back looking at you with so much love in her eyes...love that you haven’t felt from her in so long because of her work.

You slowly move closer to her, closing your eyes. Ganyu saw this and closed the gap between you two with you two sharing a sweet and passionate kiss~

She broke the kiss and hugged you once more ‘’I promise I'll make it up to you my sweet flower...’’ She said ‘’Ya sure? No promises...right?’’ You said with an unsure voice.

no actually i will do one for malleyuu bc this is my personal blog and i'm feeling brave enough to talk about my opinions here

listen. i LOVED malleyuu back in 2020-2021 and i still think their dynamic is adorable in theory but i really don't like what is happening to their dynamic at the moment. first of all, i'm not a fan of what's happening to malleus's character and second of all, there's just. too much malleyuu. like i'm genuinely starting to like any other yuu ships more simply bc they don't have malleus and they already sound more original to me. also i really hate how some fans are saying "but this game IS about malleyuu, malleus is your canon love interest!!!", NO THIS GAME IS ABOUT MAGIC AND SOLVING OTHER STUDENTS' PROBLEMS EVEN THOUGH YOU'RE NOT A THERAPIST. so yeah anyway rolloyuu though- *i get slapped*

i think that, as i said at… some point- that it depends on the fundamentals of the persons faith, at least in this au.

people like cyno, alhaitham, rosaria, candace….. maybe collei but definitely tighnari (don’t ask why there’s so many sumeru characters) are all people i can see praising and praying for the actions of their god. people who pray for the results and not the process, and people i think would be freest of the corruption and most likely to help the reader.

on the flip side, barbara, jean, nahida, and notably keqing would be lore susceptible. they pray for more direct things? almost? idk how to describe it but like- they’re more “please grant us wisdom” or “allow us the strength” or anything that directly relies on the alternate!god, and hence opening their heart to the alternates.

like i… i can’t put it into words quite well, but like- ningguang is one who prays for profits, ganyu is the one who prays for divine guidance, you know? and hence ganyu would fall quicker.

it’s obviously a spectrum, but those closer to the first groups side are more likely to break through and help the reader.

i think…. not solely for plot reasons, but definitely influenced enough by them that i’m mentioning it… kaeya falls solidly in the second group, whilst diluc is firmly in the first.

diluc is the one that prays for a good harvest, for high sales, for the patience to deal with the damned hard in his tavern. kaeya prays for strategic wisdom, for their guidance, for answers when he’s lost and confused and the acting grand master isn’t behaving like she should.

..hopefully that made at least some sense. i’m kinda just wingin it here.

re: the traveller…. i honestly think they’d be treated the same as the archons. if the archons are corrupted, they will be too if the archons are replaced, they will be too. due to the traveller’s relationship with both the archons and the creator, i think the alternate!creator’s hand is a bit forced there. same can be extended to paimon BUT you could have paimon escape since she can pop into a different dimension. and/or they can both live in the teapot as like. vigilantes. idk.

i think that if this were to be written (100% by somebody more knowledgeable about the catalogue than i am) then a pov from one of the archons would be incredibly necessary. either to showcase the sheer power the alternates hold, that they have replaced literal gods, or to shed light on why the archons act as they do, and maybe influence the reader(meta reader, not character reader) and their opinion on them. seeing a blank slate suddenly become full of life at the sight of their savior…. or the archons trapped in some cell, chained down and miserable, lamenting over their mistakes. how foolish they were to trust the one with eyes colder than iron and a grip nearly as strong. how foolish to pray when their soul cried to stop. how foolish, how foolish, how foolish.

and as they sit, maybe one of them begins to pray, unwillingly feeding into the beast that trapped them there.

I only beat Sumeru (and the rest of the game) because I wanted to see Alhaitham and Kaveh more. But the story was more interesting to me than Inazuma at least. Mondstadt was a great place to start but now I feel like I'm shaking the game and begging to see them get involved in the story again. And it may just be the artifacts he's using but Heizou doesn't do nearly as much damage as the rest of the team. But I don't have anyone better for now, so he stays.

Platinum is loads of fun but I understand why you want to stay in Kanto, even though grinding in HGSS isn't easy because of how low leveled everything is. Well, grinding in general is boring, regardless of levels. I could probably beat Platinum in my sleep solely because I've replayed it so often, but it's a fun world to re-explore for me. Feels more like a world too due to certain events. B&W is a fun gen, playing it felt like playing my first pokemon game all over again because of how many new pokemon there are. But both Platinum and B&W have really hard fights in them too, so look out for those! -Genshin Anon

so I heard! my classmate wouldn't stop bugging me about how great sumeru's ending was - but I begged him to not tell me anything else (which in turn was him begging me to finish it 🤧) but seeing the more recent genshin fanart, I can see SO much definitely happened and I'm super curious about it!

RNG sucks ass and that's honestly no surprise 😭 I don't think I have a single character who's properly blessed by the RNG because it fucks me over EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. all of them are just mixed of good, mediocre and just BAD. bad. stay with kaeya for now 🤧

Genshin Ramble 1: November 3, 2022 (Vers. 3.2 / First half)

Finally making a ramble post after 7 months

So. Sumeru. How we feel about it?

It's so PRETTY tbh, but so confusing, exploration wise. I get lost so often while farming materials for the Sumeru characters I have so far. It's also pretty dangerous considering I'm a pyro main lol.

I honestly procrastinated since the region's release because Hoyoverse decided to release it on the day my 12th year of high school started. But now it's our Undas break, so that means I get to play Genshin the whole week :D

Now, my gacha experience so far.

I decided to pull for Tighnari :D and he is so fun to use <3 also unnecessarily pretty.

Then I FINALLY got Kokomi. I always wanted her since her first banner but I lost :(( then on her first rerun, I decided to pull for Raiden, then lost to Keqing :')

And during Cyno's banner, I lost to C1 Keqing, which now led me to pulling Nahida and HOLY SHIT she is so fun to play :D !! I love the dendro element so much istfg.

I think my favorite design from Sumeru right now is Dori :D she is so adorable, and so flashy. Her glasses are so cute and sells the look tbh

I'm done building Tighnari and Kokomi, just need to ascend them again (up to lvl 80) before I actually start using them more often without having to fear for their lives :')

Nahida and Dori both have a half-assed build right now but the former's damage is pretty astonishing right now (Nahida is lvl 50 right and bro one phased the cryo and pyro regisvines).

i've never really utilised geo characters on my team considering i literally don't bother building characters, but i really should!! i've heard they're fantastic supports and that ningguang is an amazing dps when built right :D

oh my gosh i'm so sorry you didn't get zhongli :'( he's so useful i swear now i can't live without him, but as a result my dodging abilities are crap PAHAH i'm glad you're having fun with scara though! was he an accidental pull or were you a scara wanter for a while?

and i think your scara name is very pretty!! i haven't gotten to the part of the quest where we get to name him yet, i haven't even started the interlude quest ngl because i haven't done nahida's story quest xD i'll do it eventually i have a lot of backlog 🏃

yeah geo is honestly my favorite element in the game ( and anemo is right after 🤭 ) i think gorou && zhongli are pretty good tbh , yeah ningguang is a good dps but i’m still working on it 😭 i hope i get him on his next re run though ! i have about 40 wishes saved and the patch is only half way done 🤭 . i hope i’ll still have my dodging skills when i do get him tho 💀

thank you , was looking for a good name for him like 2 hours the day before 3.3 dropped so i’m glad it worked out 😅 .

see the funny thing with scara is that i actually wasn’t planning to pull for him , i was planning to pull for childe . but when i saw scara’s play style leaks ( which was a few days before the other half of 3.2 came out ) i wanted him immediately 💀 so i spent the end half of 3.2 farming for scara and faruzan to get them to lvl 90 😭 . i’m currently farming to get things for both of their talents !

so he was a planned pull because i needed another team for abyss and figured i could main him since i like him about as much as itto ! i had 140 wishes saved up and that’s pretty good considering i pulled for albedo in 3.1 :) . but i lost my 50 / 50 to keqing and ended up having to use all my wishes to get him so i couldn’t save any of those wishes unfortunately 🥲 i was mad about it at first but at the end of the day a win is a win 😭 . but that means my zhongli isnt guaranteed again 🥲 .

My SAGAU experience! How would you interpret it?

SAGAU: So basically I pulled on two of Zhongli's banners and didn't get him.

Both times I gave everything I had, but alas it didn't work. That bummed me out for a while, because I grinded the laborious hangouts and Spiral abyss. (I now have a greater appreciation of Tohma though!)

A friend of mine than explained, that even though I didn't get Zhongli, it's now a guaranteed pity for the next five star...

And it got me thinking, what about the Raiden Shogun?

Yeah I tried for her on release, but wasn't that dedicated. So I started to grow excited.

In this pursuit I even skipped Yae! I'm coming back for her though. Honestly I think she finds it pretty amusing, in a collective effort to screw over the Geo Archon.

I got home and rolled for her. 20 pulls in she comes home! I was so excited dude, I legit started doing a happy dance. And when I played her... Oh that was fun.

And I said multiple times: 'You actually might be better then then Rex Lapis', in my elated state.

And remember when Zhongli didn't come home? I actually got two five stars instead. (One from Standard, and one from his banner). From the Gacha I got the Primordial Jade spear, which I was excited to put on him, but you know. Now Ei has it.

Anyways I would love to see what you make of this in SAGAU terms! (If you have time of course)

Extra notes:

Keqing came home instead of Zhongli. Originally she was my least favorite character, with the whole 'strictness'. But honestly? She really started to grow on me during the event. In SAGAU terms, I don't know if she wanted to prove herself or what, but she's fun to play.

For awhile my favorite chef Xiangling, actually had the Primordial Spear, and I like to think she used it to slice tomatoes.

I was building my boy Bennet for Healing and my dude comes home two times with Ei to help out! :D

Up until this point I haven't really considered Inazuma 'Homey' per say, but the hangout events really helped me to feel at ease. And the Shogun kind of solidified that

okay so i can break this down into why keqing came home to u, why raiden's nation solos (dont kill me zhongli mains pls i have him lvl 90) and why xiangling's in game actually DOES translate to her meta if u look hard enough

- KEQING's whole character is there to contrast with Ganyu, the representative of the adepti. She represents the human side of Liyue, the one grown past its needs for god and adepti. Morax is OLD, and Liyue's whole story was proof that it was past the ages of needing to be protected by adepti, and that technology and trade had advanced far enough to run Liyue on its own. Think about Keqing's element- electro, compared to the stability of Geo. She's going to have more radical ideas and challenge the notion of Liyue not being self sufficient. She is a Rex Lapis fangirl because she grew up in a nation that worships him, and there is no cultural part of Liyue he hasn't touched. But much like she does, your pulls reflect a different destiny for you than Rex Lapis. You are guided to the stilleto queen herself- a character so loved that Keqing Mains (bless y'all) have created entire archives and calculations for the game to be easier understood. Much like Keqing, they are hardworking and diligent, and are past the age of looking towards authority figures (like hoyoverse lol) to tell them what is and isn't powerful/meta. She represents a new Liyue, and one that can propel you successfully to the land of

- the SHOGUN. Raiden Shogun, Ei, Ba'al, Beelzebub, Makoto. So much to unpack here. In Zhongli's prime, yes, he was the strongest Archon, but now? In game? The Shogun- even without her Gnosis- killed a Harbinger. She hasn't slowed down since the slaying of Orobashi, and her time spent in the Plane of Euthymia shows that. She's essentially timeskipped all of the erosion Zhongli went through to become an old man ready to retire. Ei shows no signs of letting up, and now that she's discontinued the puppet, she is going to be actively ruling her nation with the Tri-Commission at her aid. She represents a different type of Archon than the two we have seen thus far- Venti lets Mondstat rule itself (we will see how that works out) and Zhongli has just now done the same. Has Raiden made mistakes in her rule? Absolutely, but she's in a more powerful political position than either other Archon.

Now as to why she came home to you- well, it was fate, wasn't it? You pulled and wished for an Archon to come to you, to provide stability in a way only a god could. Raiden Ei and her pursuit of eternity has led to a more rigid state than the land of Geo, which is insane. Her utility as an Archon in-game also outDPS's Zhongli. Why shield yourself when you can just eliminate your enemies directly? (I barely need a shielder in the Abyss team I use her in.)

PJWS isn't a support spear, it's a DPS spear. And if you ever pull a Jade Cutter, I suggest putting it on Keqing. They were both wielded by Morax, but find a better home in the hands of someone electric, ready to defend you and your journey as many times as you let them. Raiden absolutely felt your gravitation towards Zhongli and in her Eternity-steeped wisdom, struck down any attempt he could have made. If you seek stability, do not seek the contractual nature of Geo. Seek the eternity of the storm.

- XIANGLING makes sense to be a cracked character- and it has to do with food and its buffs. Each character (besides Ei, rip) has a special version of their dish that not only provides the buff of the original dish, but it's often stronger. Now, as we know through the Moonchase festival event, Xiangling has a small god/totem in Guoba. Guoba, former god of the Stove, is wielding the power of something so quintessentially human it makes perfect sense for someone like Xiangling to accompany him. Food and the people that gather around it are the first things that turn a gathering of people into a society. Have you ever counted the amount of places you can cook in Genshin? Guoba and Xiangling can draw power from every one of those. Food is a way we as humans convert something into energy, and the breaking of the chemical bonds inside food is what helps us fight. Giving one specific character residence over this entire art form? Of course she's going to be one of the most cracked 4 stars in the entire game, her power and her strength comes from the very thing that makes societies alive. Not to mention if she can imbue others with strength in food she cooks, she's gotta kick some ass herself. There's a reason everyone gets her in the Spiral Abyss- when faced with something so daunting and inhumane, a place where someone like Tartaglia got the life ripped out of him and his humanity stolen- you want to bring the warm light of humanity to keep you sane. Xiangling is the very concept of camaraderie and community wrapped in a sweet little package. She loves everyone she helps feed, and that love is stronger than any Abyss Mage your team may come across.

Hoo, talking about not liking a ship in this fandom is so risky but I'm happy to see everyone is sane to hold a calm conversation here! I have a problem with some ladies in Genshin because some just seem so bland like Ayaka and Jean, like you said before. For me Ayaka literally have no personality and (look at the risk) Beelzebub, not the puppet, the Archon. Those two just seem so... uninteresting, before the plot of the Shogun being 2 beings in 1 I was so hyped for Baal because she looked so amazing and scary the type of "don't give me any bullshit" but turned out that was the puppet and not the Archon... Kokomi was in the list too but after seeing her dealing with mental health I began to go soft for her. But also, I do understand the appeal these characters can hold and I'm happy for anyone that have them as their favorite be it for meta or for lore and characterization. And while I do like Zhongli and Childe (because, alongside Diluc, I also love Zhongli very much) I can see why some people don't like the ship, if we're going to analyze Zhongli as a character, we can all agree that Zhongli was pretty much an a-hole, and Childe being Childe would never trust in him again, they can still have little encounters where they eat together but I think this is more so Childe can keep an eye on the strongest and oldest ex-Archon-without-a-gnosis and nag him for a spar with him. BUT may I offer you: Zhongli x Diluc x Childe skjdfnkjnsd O god how I like rare ships, there's always so few people that like them and they're always so creative. ~S

Well, I do my best to ensure people know I would never invalidate their opinions. And ya know... I don't think my opinions are law. So I hope I feel like I am a good place to try and have that discussion. Especially since I also try to make it clear I'm not going to have a discussion if my opinions aren't respected.

I do have a fear that most Genshin women are built to be sold rather than built for their characters. Like Jean, Ei and Ayaka feel like really good examples of that. I'd also put Keqing in there, too. Yes I will forever be bitter about her being a 5-star over Ningquang or Beidou who not only make more sense to be 5 but are waaaay more involved in the story and have stronger personalities.

Like to be hoenst Jean, Ei, and Ayaka. They are my meta Builds. I built them to play a part. I do not care about them. Ei currently is my Xiao battery. Jean is out there to Heal my Childe, and Ayaka is a sub DPS for my Diluc. Though with Ayaka, I can work around her in relationships to my favorite asshole, Ayato. So I'm a little more partial.

And finally, for ZhongchiLuc. I'm not an OT3 person, but It's the only way I personally can see that relationship working is Zhongli and Childe bonding through a mutual love of Diluc. If you want more of my thoughts about it, I'll just kinda... Direct you to this post. Yes, I agree. I love the female characters, I'm just not interested in pulling for them. There are so much of them, that honestly, is a good thing that I don't want them, or else I would always been primogemless haha

That happened to me with another online gacha game. They only started to make waifus and I mean every letter in that word. And when they made 1 guy? Oh boy, the most plain thing you can imagine! Neither female and male design were good, and they also used to have non-human characters too which was actually really cool... but they stopped. (On top of that, it became so f2p unfriendly that literally, the only way to get better, was to put money. Because they drop rate and farming system was hell on earth)

They Only guys left that we are aware of are... Scaramouche, Cyno, the Dendro Archon and Dottore. That's without counting the new ones they might add for the female banners, but they only make like 4 and call it a day

Yeah well there's also Thoma and Gorou who aren't playable yet, Dainsleif, Baizhu, and a few I'm aware of that we haven't seen yet - namely Cyno yeah, also Lyney, who is part of a duo that may function as one character. It's still incredibly lacking considering there's about 3x as many known upcoming females. The 7:1 ratio rn is even worse than most dudebro-targeted gachas tbh.

Tbh I think they're trying to make up to the dudebro players for the fact that they did all those male reruns back to back, but like... They did Eula and Klee in between those. And those were *reruns.*

And it's not hating on the girls or people who enjoy them to acknowledge that the ratio is bad. I *like* the girls, I spent money on Klee... Intentionally pulled for Diona, intend to for Sayu, and desperately want Qiqi... Now that I type that out I realize that's just lolis lol but I mean I'd also pull for Hu Tao next time, or Mona if they did for her what they did for Keqing. I intentionally pulled for Sucrose too. I don't even want more males than females I just want them *even.* Like I've seen other people complaining on Twitter and getting called misogynistic for it... For wanting an equal ratio lol

Non human characters would honestly be really cool. We have confirmed talking animals, so. Some of the most fun protagonists to play ever imo were Amaterasu and Spyro. Imagine being an archon and being like "you know what fuck it I'm giving the cat a vision"

The first character I first fell in love with:  FIRSTTTTT Fell in love with huh.... I guess it would have to be JEANNNN??? Big question marks. It's either her, Amber, Diluc, or Barbara. They all kinda steamrolled in the first few days/quests. But Jean was also my first main so I'll give it to her. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: This kind of a copoutttt, butttt......... Diona. Honestly, she has everything going against lmao. Cat. Kid. Her animations are a little out there. And some of her lines are a little suggestive. BUT. She's adorable. Her attack animations are some of the best. And that. Fucking. Lore. Poor girl :( Deserves a better dad smfh. I no longer blame her for her edginess and just kinda understand and feel bad for her. She a BEAN. The character everyone else loves that I don’t:  Eh. Beidou. I just. Don't see it. At all. She provokes no emotion from me in any way possible. The character I love that everyone else hates:  In terms of personality, I think I'd give it to Eula, Fischl or Keqing, because I feel there's a LOT of misunderstanding toward them, and the fact they can be quite confrontational and in your face with their personalities, naturally put people of, but I love them. That said, I'm actually gonna give this one to Amber, because of all the shit she gets for being a bad character in terms of GAMEPLAY. I just feel so bad for her and she's so fun to play even tough, yeah, she's not the strongest, but she's a BEANN and I LOVE HER. The character I used to love but don’t any longer: Hmmmmm... Used to love... Kaeya, Venti and Xingqiu are all pretty problematic for me. They've got raelly curious and cool personalities in theory, but there are just little things they do like Kaeya's relationship with his brother, Venti using the wind to strip Mona's clothes from her body when she reads into his constellation and Xingqiu's treatment of Chongyun that just really, really, really irk me. The character I would totally smooch:  Tracy. .....What? What do you mean you're not a Genshin character? The character I’d want to be like:  Huh. Now that's a question... Hmmm.... Honestly I think it would be Amber? That hope and positivity, the fitness, the confidence, the energy, how ambitious and dedicated she is? That FREEDOM? I think honestly, yeah, it would be. I already kinda see a lot of myself in chars like her and Yoimiya. I just get in my own way and have to deal with LIFE more. The character I’d slap:  Xingqiu. Absolutely. Every fucking time. Grow. The fuck. Up. And be. A better. Friend. To Chongyun. You raging. Asshat. There's a genuinely cool personality hidden in you if you'd just treat your friends better and take life a little more seriously. A pairing that I love: Mona x Fischl. HAS TO BEEEEEEEEEEE. BUTTT Mona and Fischl are just the top of the topppp. A pairing that I despise: Despise seems a really strong word. here's my personal opinion on who the my hero academia characters would main in genshin impact 😌

also forgive the lack of reasoning for some characters— honestly for some it was just gut feeling or vibe lol

The boys;

DEKU's choice is pretty basic. He'd either go with the traveller (Aether) because he's biased about using the MC, or I also think Noelle would be a pretty good match 🤔 She's very hardworking much like himself and looks up to the Knights much like Deku looks up to the pro heroes so I feel like he would relate to her

BAKUGO. Okay so— I feel like my second choice won't be super common? But hear me out. My first choice was Diluc— he's powerful, gets sh*t done, he looks cool, he's a fire wielder, so yeah. BUT I also think he could be a Klee main. I mean— explosions? I feel like he'd build her super super well and make her strong af, probably gets a little manical laugh on when she starts blowing up all her enemies 😭 Plus I also feel like he'd get super offended when someone judges him for using her, saying it's unlikely of him or sth— Would definitely get all defensive like "what, you got a problem with that?!"

KIRISHIMA mains Zhongli. He's an Archon and Archon immediately = strong and badass. Plus he's a geo user. He would definitely kick ass with him 🤜🏻🤛🏻

DENKI mains Childe. They give off a similar vibe 🤷🏽‍♀️ However I have a feeling Kami's a really bad shot so he'd probably just use his melee stance and always has to go through his max cooldown

He could also main Lisa 👀 Because climbing noises and electro vision

TODOROKI mains either Chongyun or Ganyu! I honestly feel like 'Roki wouldn't use any pyro characters for obvious reasons and since he's a very "simple" (there's probs a better word than that) guy I feel like he'd use a cryo characters simply because he's an ice wielder x) And out of all the cyro characters, I chose the ones that are closer to his personality

IIDA mains Keqing. Both uptight, both like keeping order, both hardworking. Voilà.

TOKOYAMI mains Kazuha! They both give off a righteous and samurai-esque vibe 👀

SHINSO mains Xiao 🥰 Both misunderstood imo, kinda loners— They're also both quite silent and reserved, scary but secret softies. It just fits idk

SERO mains Beidou! I'm not quite sure on this one actually, she's the first one who came to mind 🤔

The girls;

OCHAKO mains Bennett or Mona 🔥✨ Bennett because she'd probably feel sorry for him and Benny's Adventure Team; she doesn't want him to feel lonely so she refuses to remove him from her team. And Mona because #relatable

TSUYU I kinda struggled with— I'm thinking maybe Mona or Xingqiu? They're studious and hydro users idk 🤷🏽‍♀️ If you find anyone better please enlighten me

MINA mains Hu Tao; two peppy, cheerful girls who love mischief. I feel like Mina would be really fun to play with lmao (even though she always dies first in domains— she doesn't really understand how artifacts work)

HAGAKURE mains Xiangling or Hu Tao for pretty much the same reasons as Mina. She plays characters purely according to their cuteness level and/or aesthetic

MOMO mains Jean, again because she can relate to her. They're both very hardworking, smart and strive for improvement of one's self and are both self conscious about their abilities :( Two very sweet, very gentle ladies

My reasons!

Diluc is definitely someone loyal and trustworthy, let's get that out of the way. He's also quite reserved, and comfortable silences, I feel, would be a recurring thing between the two of you. I also find that he would be the rational person in the relationship, since you can tend to be the emotional counterpart. This is not to say he is cold though! Diluc cares about you deeply, but sometimes his troubled past can make him seem like he has a hard time expressing himself outwardly (he is touch starved and emotionally constipated please shower him with love). He is definitely one loosen up a bit over time, so I was thinking more long term when I matched you guys up! Even though he was my first choice, I had also thought about Jean or Keqing. But at the end, I felt like the two were lackluster in certain areas and so I chose fire daddy I mean Diluc- instead :)

The First Date:

It was a young night on a weekend, so in truth, you were disappointed but not surprised that this happened

"Is there anywhere else you'd like to go?" Diluc looked on the long, long line snaking out of the restaurant you really wanted to take him to

Because what better way than to know someone better than over some good food? Though that plan was utterly ruined due to the fact that waiting in line for hours on end was not very romantic

Your feet hurt, though if his did too he didn't show it one bit

"I will take you anywhere," he offered.

Sheepishly, you smiled. "Yeah, let's get out of here."

And so it was. But you still haven't answered his question, the two of you now wandering the emptying street. That was the only thing you had thought of this evening and your mind was blank as to where to go next

"Um, hey- I'm sorry," you blushed, a little embarassed, this was supposed to be his first impression and you totally blew it.

"Do not apologise," he said,"you couldn't have predicted this to happen."

"But I told you today was going to be fun, and it's been pretty sucky so far," you went on, feeling a little glum.

Times like these make Diluc wish he had a way with words, someone who could say something funny or 'cheesy' as he heard some people put it. But he always ended up sounding stiff, and you deserved him to be genuine before anything else.

Instead, he rubbed soothing circles on your back with his thumb, thinking of what other places he could take you to uplift your spirit.

"I do have another idea," you peered up at him tentatively,"oh, but I don't know..."

"What is it?" Diluc prompted you to continue.

After all, he wanted today to go well just as much as you do maybe even more so

"Well, we could go back to my place," you scuffed your foot along the pavement,"it's not going to be as fancy as a restaurant but I could whip up a mean honey ro-"

"Let's do that," he cut in. Your face must have looked somewhere in between a little surprised and amused because he cleared his throat and said,"that sounds nice."

Smiling at his approval, you tugged at his arm down the road to your humble abode, up the stairs and into the kitchen.

Setting up the table with a cloth and spare candles, you deemed it passable for a homemade candlelit dinner.

Now for the actual dinner part

Diluc insisted to help, and you agreed, but only if he would let you put a frilly apron on him (he begrudgingly lets you because he couldn't say no to the pleading, as long as you did not take a picture or breathe a word of this to Kaeya)

That was a small price to pay for the sight of the once stoic man who now looked like a housewife, ladle in hand.

Though you looked away for one second and he burned the carrots

You stifled your laughter, pushing the confused Diluc out of the kitchen, re-delegating him to making the drinks instead

Even though the evening had started out rocky, it definitely turned out better than you imagined.

After everything was cleaned up, Diluc folded his coat over an arm and you walked him to the door.

"I do hope we'll have another chance at sharing a meal," he said, halfway out the door,"if you'll have me, that is."

"O-of course Diluc, I'd love that," you looked down, suddenly feeling shy.

"Goodnight Y/N."

As soon as he turned around you closed the door, heart racing, a goofy smile plastered across your face.

Bro (Lantern Rite Festival Spoilers)...

After a whole fiasco about getting Pokémon Legends: Arceus, I finally got the game and have been giving it most of my attention since release day. I'm currently on the fourth(?) area and am at four/five stars.

Other than that, I spent most of the month playing Genshin Impact and enjoying the Lantern Rite Festival. I finished everything except the last three shadows because it was too hard for me. They didn't give me primos, so I honestly didn't really bother putting in too much effort.

Keqing looked beautiful in her dress and I was so happy I was able to get it for her. Her's and Ningguang's outfit. They both look stunning.

The final cutscene was also wonderful. I loved seeing everyone together and just going about their merry way during the festival. Especially Zhongli and Hu Tao, though I did like Chongyun, Xingqiu, Xiangling, and Guoba, too. There were some nice moments between all the characters, but those were my favorites that stuck with me longest.

Walking around after and looking for their NPCs is really fun. I've only found Zhongli twice and Xiao once. I'll look for the others some other time.
