[1/4] i saw you were curious about where people have been recently, and i'm only speaking for myself but i've been quiet for a good chunk of this year and i've honestly just lost interest in supernatural for the moment and i hate to say it but i've somewhat lost interest in reading in general, with only a few things catching my attention as of late, which i feel really guilty about since you and so many of the authors on here are incredible

[2/4] and i know writing isn't easy so i would try to give some sort of praise/feedback/comment on almost every single thing because i know that 99.9% of authors really appreciate even the smallest amount of love but i was just losing interest and i tried to hold on for the sake of y'all (the writers) but it really wasn't enjoyable anymore so i decided to take a break! [3/4] with all that said though, you are so SO talented and have written absolute masterpieces! some of my favourite stuff i've ever read and i truly thank you and all the other writers (on tumblr especially) who do this shit for free and never get the credit you deserve! [4/4] hopefully supernatural with become a interest of mine again, or even just my passion for reading will return so i can come back and read everything i've missed out on while i've been gone, i don't even have to like spn to read the incredible stories you've written. sending my love to you and all the other writers out there💓💖💗💞  also! very sorry if that didn't make sense, it's currently 1am and i tried my best to make it as well written as possible

Firstly, no one owes me an explanation at all! I understand we all have lives that take over sometimes, we go through phases and whatnot too. I was asking purely to figure out if it was tumblr as a whole or if maybe I had started posting stuff that no longer interested people. When you get such a big drop in activity/interaction it makes you paranoid (at least it does if you’re as insecure as I am) but I really hope I didn’t make anyone feel guilty or like they needed to explain themselves to me!!

You are definitely right, we appreciate absolute any and all feedback we receive no matter what. Yes those paragraphs of someone’s commentary where they pick out certain lines and gush over them are incredible but that doesn’t mean we don’t also smile like idiots at our screens when we simply receive a heart emoji or a “Love it” comment. Every single comment fuels us. But of course, you must always do what’s best for you and you have every right to stop doing something you no longer find joy in!
