#crochet #crochetaddict #blackgirlcrochet #currentlyonthehook #hookingonhumpday #hookersofig #hookersofinstagram My #minic2ccrochet #minic2cgraph for my MIL (pattern and graphs by #3amgracedesigns #3amgracedesignsnaturecal ) is done except for the bottom banner. I ran out of the mint yarn and so I blocked and trimmed the squares until I get the yarn to finish the bottom banner. The first pic minus the bottom banner is most likely the version I'll be completing and putting together. The second pic is the full afghan minus the bottom banner. The other pics show it's over 6 ft long and almost 5 ft wide. My MIL is tiny and has a double bed, lol. I removed 4 squares because the afghan is 6 feet long without the bottom banner. I'm probably going to either do pillows or makes a smaller afghan for the kids. This project has been long but very fun. I look forward to the finish project.

I saw a picture for a flower garden afghan. I searched all of the crochet patterns for flowers I could find and made them into squares. Then lost interest. Finally I put the squares together and added a C2C top border with her name. I crocheted letters and sewed them onto squares before I learned how to C2C. I incorporated both. There will be no doubt who's blanket this is! I plan to include the pattern links as well as how I modified the flowers to make them into squares on my blog.
