The One Above All has been in the possession of Joel Bateman (@/thesmash_hit) since he defeated Horus (@/horus_ctrl) in July. However, fellow Australian York (@/worldofyork) won the Rumble to challenge him for his title in our main event. Now, both Horus and Ryan Zero (@/zeroboooiiii) have punched their tickets to join the Aussies. Who will leave the One Above All World champion when the dust settles in our huge main event?

Have you read the new Siege of Terra, the alleged finale that it turned out when it showed up on my Kindle was only Vol. 1 of the finale? I'd like a trustworthy opinion. Verbosity and showing off his made-up words as always been an Abnett thing but it seems to be taken up a notch in this one. Remember how GRRM clearly learned about "niello" while writing Feast/Dance? Since "Saturnine," Abnett made up "Astartesian" and wants you to KNOW it. Do you think he was padding to stretch the plot?

I'm not sure. On the one hand, a lot of stuff does feel bloated, on the other hand there were a lot of characters in the series and Abnett is probably trying to give them all endings. It did seem to drag on at times when it came to characters I didn't care about.

I like how we've pretty much got confirmation that the Emperor stole power from Chaos from Malcador - this makes him 40k's Promethus myth. Prometheus (Big E) steals fire (warp powers) from the gods (Chaos Gods) and is chained to a rock (the Golden Throne) for his hubris. It looks like humanity was supposed to go the way of the Aeldari with Horus's ascension, hence why Big E made sure to Ctrl+Alt+Del Horus from existence.

My personal version of the Egyptian pantheon and  Sutekh

*For anyone questioning*: Set has several wives and multiple children, it’s my personal belief that the gods of the ennead have more than just their celebrated children and are parents to multiple minor deities who were either forgotten by time, not given anything to be the god of and serve as helpers and attendants to their powerful parents , or just overall are not as celebrated as their older siblings. (for Example: in my mind Nephthys has a small entourage of daughters with Set who help guide the dead, help around the temple, and mourn with her, but they are not worshipped, they are there to serve and aid their mother.) So even Isis and Osiris even mustered up one or two children who were minor deities or attendants and are completely shrouded by their elder brother Horus. 

Set being the world’s first ever chad, alpha male (since people literally use to pray to him so that their boners would last) is the father of literally a army worth of children, and the bone train doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. Since he’s basically Hanma Yujiro and Yuuichiro Hanma combined

His wives don’t mind if you know what I mean *Wink wink* (yes I believe he fathered a murderous handful of baby crocodiles with neith, no it is not rooted in fact BUT A MAN CAN DREAM.)

  The gods can also have demi-god like children, which means that the gods established their own dynasties by popping down to earth and secretly messing around with humans/ Pharaoh’s wives if you know what I mean *wink wink* like Set being the father of the 19th dynasty, since many of the pharaoh were red headed and Set is the only god that in his true form (sha-human) that has red hair. So Set popped down got nasty with Seti I’s mama and sure Neith shot him in the ass with an arrow for infidelity, but I mean it worked right.

(on the topic of true forms: a god’s true form is one that cannot be seen by humans or they get you know. Vaporized. so they have multiple forms that they take to prevent themselves from accidentally causing the extinction of mankind. The more powerful gods like Set, Khnum, Amun, Neith, Path, Ma’at and Ra never go into their Pure states so they don’t accidentally do a big ctrl alt delete on the universe, which is good for us.)
