out of curiosity, are you a hosie or a hizzie? you're pretty loud about your dislike for handon, but i rarely see you post either hosie or hizzie.

Honestly, I had to think hard to answer this because I really did enjoy aspects of both ships. Short answer, I like both but don't love either. If I had to choose I would likely say Hizzie.

With Hosie I feel like they lacked a lot of the depth despite them being the most popular ship in the show. Ironically enough, they followed in KC's footsteps in that sense. They never really had enough build-up for them to start a relationship at any point in the show and it didn't help that the writers seemingly put a ban on them in s3. After being called out for queerbaiting the audience they just decided to completely cut Hope and Josie off from each other, even in situations that would've called for them to interact (s2 literally ended with them having an episode heavily centric on their dynamic, yet there was no follow up in s3?).

Their dynamic for the most part bored me, even as someone who enjoys the friends-to-lovers trope. Often times their scenes felt a bit empty, which definitely could’ve been intentional on the writers part to dissuade people from shipping them to be fair! They just didn’t get enough content for me to fully jump on board. I do think that out of Hope's popular ships, they had the best chemistry. They felt very natural in the scenes they shared and could've been great in canon. Had DRR and Kaylee been given the chance, Hosie would’ve been one of the few canon Legacies ships that had real romantic chemistry.

Hope and Lizzie’s relationship very clearly the star of the show. The best elements of the show were jumpstarted by their relationship (their rivals-to-friends era in s1, their hilarious scenes in s2 and 3, and their tribrid/heretic, sirebond, and enemies era in s4). The writers put more effort into Hizzie than any other aspect of the show, including Hope and Lizzie's canon relationships with their boring boyfriends. Typically, Hizzie is the thing the Legacies writers are praised for the most, and the praise is deserved.

Based on the writing alone Hizzie would've gone down as one of my favorite TVDU ships, maybe even one of my favorite ships period. But I don’t think DRR and Jenny have much romantic chemistry. Very close friends and platonic soulmates, yes. Girlfriends... I'd have to actually see it to believe it. They had the potential to start something, especially in season 4, but I’m not sure how it would feel to actually watch them have romantic scene.

It’s hard to say which I'd rather have been canon because of this. I can't see how Hope and Josie’s relationship being entertaining to watch (assuming that I can't go back and rewrite their relationship) and unless DRR and Jenny were specifically toning down whatever romantic chemistry they may have, I can't see myself rooting for them to kiss on screen. If I absolutely had to choose? Before s4 I would’ve said Hizzie by a long shot, but s4 gave Hosie an edge (I love ships where one or both of them are obsessively down bad and s4 Josie fit that to a T. Josie caring more about the girl that beat her father nearly to death, threatened to kill her mother, and actually killed her sister? EAT EAT EAT!), but also the sirebond gave Hizzie a bit of an edge (how could you not get even a little buzz from “I hate you for making me love you”?)… Hizzie was the first Legacies ship I fell for so I feel like I’m always gonna be a bit bias towards them.

I’d choose either one of these ships over the train wreck that was Hope and Landon in a heartbeat though! Both had potential to be excellent in their own ways if H.ndon wasn’t shoved down our throats.

Day 27 - Hoshi

Hoshi was a whore for attention. You’d always known this, and when he revealed his love for the chance of being caught, you weren’t surprised in the least. What did surprise you was exactly how public he could be. Small kisses in the practise room were child’s play. Fucking you in woozis studio when he knew the others were on their way was risky. But tonight was a step further.

He’d invited you along to watch the filming of their new going seventeen content, and you were beyond excited. As the members played rock, paper, scissors to decide who would go in which of the vans, you stood behind hosi, your hands wrapped around his waist as your chin rested on his shoulder. Once it was decided, the boys began piling into the big vans, the black out windows hiding the contents of the vans from the outside world.

You bundled into the back seat with hoshi beside you, the van bursting with energy as the boys in the middle and front sang along to the radio. His hand on your thigh was calming you, your nerves about being on set with them easing by the minute. Soon his hand slid slightly higher up your leg, his fingertips ghosting over the skin under your skirt. Your eyes widened as you looked at him, a finger against his lips as a silent gesture to keep quiet. His hands slid higher and higher, his fingers brushing against the fabric of your panties as his lips crashed to yours. With his finger slipping the fabric to the side, his finger entered you with little resistance, your arousal making him moan softly into your mouth.

He continued in this position for a while, building your arousal more and more as he kissed along your skin, your jaw, your neck.

And each time your eyes fluttered open you could see the backs of the heads of the boys in front of you, all happily singing along to the loud music. They were completely unaware, and as you felt hoshi unbuckling your seatbelt beside you your eyes were pulled to his hands. His belt was also loose, and he pulled you by the hips to sit atop his lap, your back flush to his chest.

‘Lean back baby girl. And keep quiet for me’ he whispered into your ear, trailing kisses down your skin. He released himself from his suit trousers, and pulled your panties down your legs, the fabric hanging loose by your ankles as you positioned yourself on his lap.

With his hands on your hips, you lowered yourself onto him, his hand moving to cover your mouth as you almost released a moan. Trying your best to stay quiet, he finally removed his hand, his fingers finding your clit as he gently brushed over you. You bit on your bottom lip as his fingers worked you closer to your high, his hips staying torturously still.

With each road bump or pot hole you nearly exposed yourself, small whines desperate to be released as he moved ever so slightly inside you. Soon you could see the van ahead of you pulling off the main road, your destination getting closer.

You started to bounce yourself, moving yourself up and down while biting on your own hand, keeping your noises at bay while hoshi kissed into your skin to hide his whines. Soon, you were close to your high, the movement of the car as well as your unaware audience pushing you closer to release. One perfectly timed speed bump and you were gone, legs shaking trying to keep yourself moving, desperate for hoshis release as well.

He could feel how your legs were set to give way, and took over, thrusting up into you as he chased his high, his thrusts animalistic. His hand was firm across your kitty as he released, filling you up as his hips stuttered, slowing as the van turned down an even smaller side street, your destination only a few minutes away.

Hoshi quickly pulled your panties up your legs, tucking himself back inside his trousers as he moved your body back to your seat beside him. You could feel his release starting to drip from you, but there was nothing you could do as the van came to a halt.

The music turned off as the doors opened, members spilling out of the van as the excitement of todays filming filled their bodies. While Hoshi joined them, a hand reached out to catch yours as you stepped from the van. Joshua. Always the gentleman, he held your hand as you stepped from the van and quietly whispered in your ear.

‘Y/n your lipstick is smudged. There’s a mirror in Jeonghans bag if you want to fix it quickly’ he said, a cheeky wink thrown in your direction as you processed his words.

hi!! would it be weird if i made my own collage series like you do for some of your fics (like double trouble and siphon and tribrid)? it would obviously be my own content and editing and whatnot, but the idea was inspired by yours so i wanted to make sure that’s okay since i haven’t seen them a lot (though it may well be a popular thing that i’m just not familiar with)! i’d be happy to tag you in the original post so people knew it was inspired by yours, if that’s something you’d like - that being said, the series would feature hosie, and i know you’re not a big fan. anyway, i just wanted to check in, sorry if this is weird lol 💜

yeah, been said a million times, but Those People are actual losers. it’s actually incredibly weird to suddenly pretend to care about matt again + imply that the show has an obligation to be cancelled just because josie left. “THEY’RE KEEPING MATT OVER PRECIOUS KAYLEE? CANCEL THE SHOW!!” but y’all stayed tuned in when it was peyton right? 🤔

yes, matt sucks. everybody knows he sucks. everybody knows he’s racist. matt has sucked since tvd when he’d spend his time belittling bonnie fans and being a freak. to/tvd/julie have been a hotspot of issues for years, and guess what, we all still decided to tune in for part three. the cast still decided they want to work under julie! there’s no high horse now just because your favorite amongst the mess tapped out for reasons none of us know. 

and this faux-outrage happening is especially rich coming from the side of the fandom that decided to spend 90% of its time bitching about landon/finch/etc instead of alaric. blamed finch for jed/kaleb not getting a backstory, when alaric has been there much longer. was crying about aria’s billing placement, when that time could’ve gone to asking why matt remained part of the cast at all. the beginning of the year they were circulating that petition to get rid of landon - advocating for a moc to be unemployed, that’s right 😱, before evil racist matt davis! 

but now they all suddenly give a fuck and have to put their foot down and demand the show be cancelled, and all of us are supposed to play stupid and pretend it has anything to do with real values rather than being the result of a petty tantrum over a ship. grow up. 

all anyone is entitled to is withholding their viewership (as, frankly, many of you probably should’ve done back in s3.) that’s it! nobody else owes you anything!

1. Hope went to Josie asking for help with dark magic to find landon and was all heart eyes asking help so yeahhh (s01e01)

2. She didnt said to ema that josie helped with the spell (protecting josie) (s01e02)

3. The you poked yourself scene + those smiles okay bye AND they were talking about their moms dfhsdkfj and AGAIN josie helped hope with a spell (thet they weren’t supposed to know) to find landon and rafael (s01e03)

4. They destroyed the gargouille together (s01e03)

5. That stare at the end of the episode…..hope was about to smile and then josie looked away (s01e03)

6. Hope helped saving Josie from that spider lol (s01e04)

7. They both voted for landon to leave the school, i know it was for different reasons but anyway hosieeeee for me (s01e05)
