#the funny thing is this would almost have to star shen jiu as haruhi?#if we're looking at the one poor kid among all the rich trust fund babies #either that or SY and SJ have to be the twins‚ which does do weird things to the different roles & relationships #like. if SJ does not come from a street kid background then why is he Like That #hmm maybe there was a Parent Trap situation where the twins got split up between the parents #and SY went with a parent who was fairly decent and SJ went with a parent who was ... not #and they were reunited in high school?#they wouldn't be able to pull off the Hitachiin interchangeable double act #but they might get some mileage out of a good twin-bad twin act instead #okay let's try SY and SJ as the twins and Luo Binghe as Haruhi #Yue Qingyuan as the well-meaning but kind of a himbo club leader #Liu Qingge as Mori perhaps? he doesn't fit great as Kyouya -- not manipulative enough #But then again Shang Qinghua and Mobei-jun would best fit Hani and Mori's weird codependency thing #so that does leave the role of the SIC for Liu Qingge #I don't think the roles all line up exactly -- we may have to combine or split out some #I feel like the demon characters have got to be in some kind of a rival club #but it's been a while since I've seen OHSHC so I can't recall most of the plotlines #either way Luo Binghe accidentally breaks something #and gets co-opted into the host club to work off his debt #this solution was proposed by SY and Luo Binghe went '....okay!'#then unfortunately. he met shen jiu #ouran high school host club crossover #scum villian self saving system

genuine question why do people think neocities is going to save the internet I understand it is a powerful tool when it comes to preserving the old web and I'm not against using it but why is it that anytime somebody says the internet has just become another engine for monetisation and websites that are necessities are also pretty much unusable now people just start screaming about building a neocities

#I genuinely want to know because its getting annoying you building one website isnt going to solve #the rest of the problems on the internet 😭😭😭#especially considering you can only host like 2 sites with neocities so even if you want to build sites #for different topics you will still have to pay to build more sites and as i said i just want to rant i wasnt looking #for solutions the internet is still getting shittier by the minute

Also anyone know any book podcasts that focus more on analysis/big picture "what is this book saying/what cultural influences or other literature is it engaging with" type stuff? I feel like there is an abundance of podcasts where people sit down and discuss books but avoid spoilers and just give basic "did I like it or not" type info which is not really what I'm looking for atm

#like i need to listen to people have opinions about books or i start getting weaker my health bar diminishes or something #most recently i tried to listen to one where the hosts spent 20 minutes deciding what they would wear in this fictional universe #that's fine it's just like. sometimes i want to think about a book from a new angle or read it later and see if i agree with the hosts!#there aren't as many wizards vs lesbians type podcasts is what i'm saying #like i want somebody to point out the most insane assumptions the story is making about the world #maybe the solution to this is read more papers and articles but i really do like that conversational tone #it's easier on my brain when i'm cleaning working out etc

#i am so serious the worst thing that has ever happened to me is finding this one ohshc x creepypasta + reader quotev fanfic and i really #really loved it but then it slowly devolved in quality and then got an author switch and the new author didnt write an actual story or even #finish it and i am so sad but i dont wanna end on a bad note so i never finished it nor the chapters written by the first author i really #liked that it was no romance and focused on the relationships of reader and toby being like siblings and it was extremely weird but very #sweet that they were explicitly like toby was happy to join ouran/the host club because he was like i never got a normal hs experience or #got to feel like i fit in anywhere That is such a strange way of approaching it but i really liked that also its just funny in that uninten #tional 2010s fanfic way and also there wasnt unnecessary death until there was and i started disliking it. ofc i dont really like the chees #cake jokes (iirc there were a few) but also reader getting calls from the creepypastas was so cute and sweet i love when people agree that #they are like a family moreso than a business or like Realistically theyd hate each other nuh uh they are sweet stupid family Ok #i just love how genuine and sweet the relationships are and that the slender mansiob is so supportive and checks in on reader #you can read old ao3/quotev fanfics but watch out you will like them and they will never be finished #the solution.. is to do it yiurself…

It's been a tough week for Windows systems and the IT teams managing them. I live in a glass house here, so no stones to throw.
