L.S. Dunes - How Dare You

i've had this song on loop since it dropped 11 hours ago. it's literally one of the best things Dunes has put out, on par with Benadryl Subreddit. Tim's bass being SO prominent and fucking carrying that bridge breakdown, Tucker's halftime drums for the chorus and fills that when paired with Tim never fail to create the coolest sound, Travis and Frank's guitar parts that collide so deliciously, and ANTHONY MY MAN. the vocal melodies are addictive, and the lyrics!! the constant autumn imagery, the season of death. comparing love to violence, the gore in this song is something so painfully beautiful. things like "stranger in my skin" and "bleeding out from under the mask" saying this violent, bloody love is the kind of love he deserves. "whisper 'kill me' in your ear" he is BEGGING for the pain...

The thing that is kinda driving me insane is that what Crowley was proposing was for them to keep on being equals, and what Aziraphale offered was the opposite: "you can be my second in command (...) we can be together. Angels, doing good." It was not only a rejection of their equality but a rejection of Crowley's identity as a demon, and I just was to shake Zira until he comes to his senses.

I just finished Good Omens 2 and it was amazing but for god sake Aziraphael WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY????? I kind of know, but still... Whyyy?

I mean Crowley really grow on me this season. He's such a big softie who get hurt badly do he puts on this demon face as a protection, but you can see it on all od this moments when he cares about people that he doesn't even knowing. He was such a softie as an angel.

I love them both but the ending broke me...
