60 Days For CUET PG Mathematics Strategy 2025: Set Preparation Goal

Note
Wow you're preparing for neet 25? If yes , how are you avoiding burnout, I'm struggling with it a lotttt
Hiiii, you asked THE question
I'm a dropper, you might have realized. I've spent the last few years preparing for neet and every time a new problem arises that I wasn't aware of. Last year, I was so stressed, anxious and burnt out that I messed up the whole of April.
Now, one of my main goals was to avoid getting so stressed and worked up that I have no energy left for the rest of the months.
As you might have heard,
It's a marathon,
not a sprint. You can't reach the finish line by working all your energy on a single task or a single day or week. Here's what I do to avoid burning out (especially with CUET PG prep too):
Forgive yourself: I have had this experience that the more I scold myself mentally, the more I say "oh look you didn't even finish this" or "you're so stupid, couldn't even do that" etc, the more I saw myself losing confidence and self esteem. My productivity was LOW. I had such a terrible time, I hadn't felt so bad about myself, all because of negative self talk. So, you need to learn to say good things about yourself. Start small if you can't do anything big. Can't do 100 questions a day, start with 10 AND compliment yourself.
Breaks: This is very very important. Take breaks, take rest. I use pomodoro when I'm distracted and when I'm motivated, I time myself studying and take a break accordingly after that. So 25/5 pomodoro sessions and if I'm studying for longer, so breaks after I lose focus. For example, I studied for 1 hour but I want to take a small break just to refresh myself and I know I wanna get back to studying again so I take an 8-12 minutes break. Don't do anything strenous. Do something that will likely to actually give you a break.
Think of it like a game you wanna master: I'm saying this as a person who's spent a LOT of time worrying and taking things too seriously. Think of NEET prep as a game. You wanna master the chapters, the questions, the tests. You're gonna do whatever you want to get there. It'll be a hard work, but it'll be fun.
Study because you wanna know : it's very very importany while preparing for an exam to think of it curiously. I relate this to doing a research or teaching someone something. For example, I wanna give a presentation. I don't like the topic very much, but I need to do it anyway, so I pretend like I'm gonna be giving a presentation to curious people who are gonna ask me questions, so I prepare in a short time to know what I need to know to give answers to such questions. You're gonna have to find a way to make it work for you.
It's about your mindset : I'm saying this again, take breaks. Forgive yourself. And start working. The only thing you need to do is to start working, take action. Let yourself just do something. I genuinely believe the difference between a person who wins and a person who loses is confidence and confidence comes from action. So act, no matter how small it is.
(edit) I'm so sorry I took months to reply to this. I got busy in preparing for CUET pg. At this,I'm done with it and solely preparing for NEET. I wrote the tips way back but I couldn't finish them so here I'm posting the finished version now.
All the best for your exam! I hope you crack it! 💪🏻🍀

For B.Tech (CSE), tuition costs range from ₹2,000,000 to ₹110,000 per year. For BBA, they are ₹2,000,000 per year, and for Ph.D., they are ₹90,000. The page about the admission fee system breaks it down.
Under the SRMH Scholar Search Programme, SRM University also gives merit-based grants with waivers that range from 25% to 100%.
Final Tips
Before applying, make sure you are eligible and that all of your paperwork is in order. Get ready for tests or interviews, keep up with announcements and dates, and be honest and clear when you apply and talk to someone for help.
Conclusion

heyy, just wanted to ask a question. you said you were preparing for your entrance for masters in english lit. and for med school. you said ur from india so im assuming neet?
would you be able to provide as to what your thought process of preparing for both is? since those arent exactly overlapping and since you're preparing for your masters, most would go the route of their masters subject to take it up as a career.
just wanted to know as to how you think of it and to make choices if that makes sense. tysm!! all the best!!
Hello! Thank you so much for asking me this question.
Yes, I'm preparing for NEET and masters entrance exam which is CUET PG. Balancing them both is pretty hectic and I'll have to do it within the next month, so it'll be a ride.
But I like it, that's why I'm doing it. I'm not choosing the masters route because I really wanna go to a medical college. I wanna study to be a doctor. But I also like English Literature, so I decided to do a distance bachelors in it from a local university, also because I had to take a drop.
(a little backstory here) My 12th year of school was 2020-2021 and if you remember, the board exams that year were cancelled and NEET 2021 was held in September, so it was a pretty chaotic year. But in the same year, my grandfather passed away. It was a scary, haunting and exhausting year. It took us more than an year to get back to normal. So my 2021-2022 was almost lost. It was from around December'22/ January'23 when I actually started studying and in 2023 I went to Delhi for NEET coaching but that didn't work out well enough. My parents said that I should look for something else and since I had already enrolled in BA and was giving the exams, I decided to give MA entrance for the upcoming year (which is in a month). I joined coaching for it too which helped a lot. But I wanted to try again for NEET so I started studying again after Diwali'24. And here I am.
I really like your question because you're not judging me for trying two different things 😭🥹❤️ I know there's a possibility that none of them works out for me, but honestly I don't wanna leave a stone unturned. And I wanna have fun while doing that, so here I am.
Now, I'm giving significantly more time to NEET prep even with my CUET a month away. I'm giving more hours to physics than anything else, because my biology is mostly prepared and so is chemistry. If I'm guessing correctly and you're asking how I'm studying these subjects so here is a detailed description of the subjects and where I am in them:
Physics: I'm taking tons of lectures in a week, and practicing questions, revising notes and thinking about solving PYQs (😭) but I'm still not as prepared. But by the end of March, I'm hoping to get better at it.
Biology: I've studied it a lot since I started. So, I just revise it and refine it. Some chapters need more time and revision than others. But solving Biology questions in the exam is more about how much you remember and relate at the time of answering the question in the exam. Are you able to relate a small fact about cockroach to the question in the exam and also answer it correctly? That's the game.
Organic chemistry: I'm taking lectures and solving questions and learning as much as I can so I'm pretty confident here.
Physical Chemistry: This is a scary place. It's not very difficult but it's not easy enough. And I just can't find any time to study this subject.
Inorganic chemistry: same as biology tbh. But a little easier in the exams than biology. I'll study this in April. If I study it now, I'll forget it by April.
Fiction of English Literature: I'm including all of the literature- British, american, indian, world, everything fiction, including poetry. It's rather easy to learn and remember. I've got video lectures from my English teacher and my notes from her classes, which makes it easy to understand and memorise and for the information that is rather difficult, I use Anki flashcards.
Literary Criticism: A little more difficult because I need to remember tons of information that's logical as well as something I need to memorize. So much to understand and memorize here, don't you think it's a good practice for medical college? Anyways, I study about it from the resources I have and I've got an MCQ book to practice from.
History of English Literature: This is the most difficult part. Though it's more interesting than Literary Criticism but I need to remember so many dates and random facts. I got a book for this too + the lectures from my English teacher.
Reading Books: This probably is the most difficult part with NEET on my hand too. I don't have enough time to read which I need to if I'm doing English literature, right?
So yeah, this is how I manage them.
I spent atleast 2 hours on English literature and 6 hours on NEET prep. Sometimes I'm slow, sometimes I'm fast at doing stuff.
Thanks for asking this question. ❤️
