Just saw Hozier live.

Waiting for the line out of the parking lot to thin out rn

But man, what a beautiful show.

And what a lovely and earnest human being.

Dude always seemed like a good dude in interviews etc but he really does have a lovely energy in person too even at a distance. There’s no persona it’s just genuine and earnest.

He even went out to sing closer to the lawn seats (slightly upset about it because he sang my favorite while facing away from me, but it was extremely kind)

While he was out there he also made a point to acknowledge how much concert tickets cost these days and then got audibly choked up while thanking everyone in the massive crowd for coming out and for all of the support and for such a warm welcome “so far from home”

And he thanked and introduced us to almost every single person that was working the stage—not just the musicians but the side stage and backstage people too, and they used the backdrop to roll a “credits” thanking the entire team, like all the truck drivers names were listed and everything too

Just what a lovely and sincere human bean
