This young girl right from her childhood had a habit of lifting heavy objects at home and this soon became a regular phenomenon which her father spotted at a very young age and after completing her 10th exam, took her to one of the powerlifting competition where she participated and won the Gold Medal.
This victory made Alfiya Farooq Sheik choose powerlifting as a serious sports which later also became her passion. She started her career as a fitness instructor at a tender age of 17 in the year 2015 at a local gym in Nagpur.
Soon she had started building body mass and muscle to which her colleagues and clients persuaded her to participate in body building competitions because she had signs of a worthy bodybuilder.
Alfiya used to workout 4 hrs a day and her daily schedule started right from 6 am to 11 pm.
For preparing for competition, she has to follow a strict diet which requires, salad, juice, egg , chicken followed by Supplementary diet of protein pre workout, multi vitamin & omega 3 tablets.
