So, I was thinking (I know, impressive) about voltron, my hyperfixiation for the last 2 years, and the college au's, all of this bc I was reading a klance fanfic of a college au, and it captured my attention the careers the writers usually gave the paladins, so I want to share with the public the careers I would gave them, all based on my opinions, how they act on the canon and some fanfics that I really love, bc I don't have the creativity or the talent to write a fanfic where I can say this.

So for Lance, I think he would study psychology, communication or be a military pilot, the last one bc in the series he loved the idea of being a fighter pilot, but I think that if he became a military pilot he would drop out bc he would start hating the U.S government as the good latin he is.

Then, for Keith, definitely criminalistics or also a military pilot, but would also drop out for the same reasons as Lance, the only diference is that he hates the government bc he would end up being an anarchist.

Next Allura, my beloved girl, she would be either a law school girl or a psychology girl, I could also imagine her studying international bussines (bc she's a princess lol) but I like more the idea of her being kinda like Elle Woods from legally blonde.

Now, Hunk, in the canon he takes interest in both cooking and engineering, so those two are obviously the main options of career for him, but I like to think that he studied engineering and works something related to his career and has a baking/cooking small bussines like those who sells cookies via instagram.

For Shiro, he would be an astronaut, a cop (with vibes of Terry from b99) or a psychologist, I know, I know, too many psychologists, not my fault, they are all traumatized, and traumatized people becomes psychologists, I have proof of that.

Second to last, Pidge, the best fucking character of the series, so they would study something related to tech, I don't know what bc I don't know a lot of stem careers, I'm an art kid, so yeah, but I like to imagine them as a grown up who works with the nasa, bc they were so excited about going to space in the flashbacks where they talk to their family.

And last but not least, Romelle, bc they never included her or only in small parts, I like to give my girl some spotlight, she's definitely an art kid, she's just so quirky and totally the vibe of an art student, she could also be a kindergarden teacher, I don't know why but she gives me this feeling of being good with kids, but bc I hadn't read a lot of fanfics where she is an active character I don't know if there's other careers that people think would fit her well.

The joke in voltron where pidge asks the team what they're thinking about and Shiro responds Zarkon and Hunk responds calzones but instead of just being "Hey does it have to be about zarkon all the time" it veers into sincere territory where Hunk explains that he misses Earth food, that making replications is nice but it's like if you had a particular version of a food you liked in a store and it feels like it's not the same no matter how close they are in taste.

And then the team list various foods they miss, with Coran and Allura talking about the foods they now miss but veers in jokes again when one of the Paladins inevitably lists something so profoundly atrocious that everyone turns to them and is like "wtf are you talking about omg get your brain checked weirdo" (my bet is on shiro he probably likes a combo that shouldn't go together) and the episode ends on them all laughing at that paladin and joking together
