he's that type of friend that lets you vent for like two seconds before instantly coming up with solutions on how to solve your problems

if you need a gym buddy, go to him and he will agree instantly. he's also a really good option for a gym buddy because he'll help you get a good form on any exercise you do, especially if you're a newbie to working out (been there, done that)

he prefers to hang out with friends earlier in the day rather than at night. he's also a one on one type of friend, so when you do hang out it will just be you and him. he likes taking early morning walks plus coffee or tea, and then brunch at noon.

if it's a holiday, or your birthday, he'll get you nothing more than a box of gourmet chocolate and a card.

makes sure his partner eats well. he doesn't take the "oh all i had to eat today was an iced coffee 🤪" excuse (guiltyyyy) even if it's a smaller meal, he wants to see that they had something to eat/drink

there is nothing that makes him happier than seeing his partner and his younger sister hit it off. if liechtenstein likes you, he knows that he'll be keeping you around for a long time

i feel like he would be the type to want to buy his partner some nice, and i mean NICE clothes. he has the income for it...so every once in a while he'll def take them shopping.

he doesn't say 'i love you' that often because he thinks his love and his admiration for his partner shows through how he treats them. but when he does, he gets all quiet and can't really look them in the face. he isn't used to showing his vulnerable side.

he doesn't even want to show that sometimes he gets jealous...but he's bad at hiding it. he's direct in telling them how he feels, though. somehow, it's easier than expressing how much he's in love with them.

big fan of the linkle is wars sister headcanon because

1. it means his sister raises cuccos for fun, ones that specifically turn into little murder machines later (this is terrifying)

2. linkle herself is easily able to wipe hundreds of thousands of waves of enemies in a very short time while being like “oops just what the hero does :P ehe bleh. i love chickens” and i love her. She can use her crossbows like machine guns

3. their parents decided to fucking name them Link and Linkle (so them being out of the picture suddenly doesn’t seem so weird—)

lots of times where he just rants about things that interest him or make him mad. it's either-or really. he just wants to have someone there listening to him so he knows he's not being ignored or something

he likes to go on runs with his friend, having so much energy being bottled up inside of him for too long can cause him to be irritable (same)

during hangouts at night, he'll like to find a park with a view that overlooks the city, and watch the skyline. him and his friend will have conversations about whatever pops into their minds-the sun gradually setting, leaving the sky painted an orangey-pink color :)

his favorite thing is when he invites his friend to the beach on a day where the sun is out and blazing but the wind is just cool enough to keep them from melting lol. he always feels happier on those days, making the conversation they would have with him extra lighthearted.

cares for his partner in small ways that might go unnoticed. ie: throwing that pile of laundry in the washing machine on a day that they just can't. wrapping a blanket around them after they've passed out from doing a late night's work. purposely leaving one last slice of pizza or a few last spoonfuls of gelato. romano definitely cares more than he lets on

it'll take him a while to open up to his partner but once he does, he slowly but surely starts revealing more of what his insecurites and fears are. ofc he won't dump all of them onto his partner at first but, just the little things.

he def does that thing where he pretends to yawn and reaches an arm over his partner's shoulder to hold them

he also purposely sits super close to them so he can fall asleep on them when they sit together on the sofa late at night. his idea of these types of romantic things is a bit cliché, comical even, but it is really cute.

When I think of rusame I think of two ship dynamics:

1. Russia being so obviously in love with America but he’s to oblivious to tell. Every other country except France is also oblivious and look at France insane when he tries to help Russia out without his knowledge. America also likes Russia back but is less obvious and sucks at flirting so his attempts just comes off as threats. After like fifty billion things of miscommunication they finally awkwardly got together and live happily ever after.

And

2. Them being extremely toxic for each other but can’t let the other go. Everyone can see how bad they are for each other but it takes them way too long to tell. When they do finally realize they have a horrible break like one of the worst ones you can think of. But they soon get back together to try again but it fails. At first they try to be better but they slowly start to hate each other. The only reason they’re still in the relationship is to ruin the other(Cold War). They end up breaking up again when the USSR fell. They go off and date other people but nobody else can fill the void like the other had. They soon get back together and the cycle continues over and over and over. They’re the only ones that can handle the other and are two obsessed to let the other go.
