Have you read the hxh manga up to date? If so, do you have any theories of how the succesion war is going to end between Kurapika, hisoka, and the phantom troupe?

I have, back in 2019 so I don’t remember much and actually need to do a reread with some notes lmao so I don’t have many theories as to what will happen. There’s been so many surprises in this arc that it could go any way, but I might have some when I reread it (once I've absorbed it while having a better understanding)

BUT I have a way that I want it to go!

So uh, I know this blog is mainly Chrollo headcanons and self insert type stuff but I've said it before--Kurapika will always come first lmao. I love him, he’s justified, and he deserves peace and happiness (I hated the Phantom Troupe when I first watched it)

I want it to go like this: 

The Phantom Troupe massacred the Kurta out of greed (for the eyes) and without ill intent. They did so without care of who it was and were just after their treasure (anyone who hasn’t read Kurapika’s Memories pls do). Hisoka turning around and suddenly stating he’s gonna go after the Troupe just because he’s a sore loser was annoying at first because well--he’s a sore fucking loser and Kurapika has an actual reason for wanting to get rid of him. The part of me that believes in righteous justice thinks Kurapika is the only one who should get rid of them. Yet, Kurapika clearly doesn’t enjoy killing and I want him to be happy and get his eyes then forget about the Troupe (and go to therapy with his friends). I think Kurapika is too good to even bother dealing with the Troupe, they’re beneath him.

The part of me that believes in an eye for an eye? The Troupe don’t deserve to meet their end at the hands of justice and avenging the Kurta. They deserve to go the same way they’ve done everything: without caring who’s affected by their actions (stealing and killing) and just to meet a goal. They deserve Hisoka killing them one by one because in the end, they don’t matter to him. They’re just legs to get rid of to get to the head. 

I want Hisoka to take them down one by one, watch as Chrollo slowly suffers, grieves, and can’t protect them all (just like Kurapika must have felt) and I want him to be the last one standing, before Hisoka shows up like :)

I definitely think we’ll see Chrollo becoming unhinged in this arc and making mistakes out of emotions. Kurapika so far has been calm, somewhat apathetic, and a step ahead the same way Chrollo was in Yorknew. We’re also seeing Chrollo grieving and actually having intent to kill from anger, the way Kurapika did. 

As for Kurapika? ummmm ideally I'd like him to regain his lost lifespan through the Nitro rice or whatever it’s called, bury the eyes back in Lukso, continue on exploring the world as a Blacklist Hunter, and no longer ignoring his friends but. Realistically who knows what will happen when he sees Pairo’s head :(

When hxh gets its reboot i want there to be an after credits thing during the dc/succesion war arc where we see killua and alluka travel or gon do house work. Just a piece of calm
