"Wanted to impress Pike. And yes, it obviously went wrong." Which was clear with how his shirt and face and hands were looking. "I can make music, but not handle more than one pot in the kitchen. Luckily, I did not burn myself, at least."

After growing up the way she had, there wasn't a lot of things that actually scared her. It might just be because she didn't have time to be afraid, but she didn't want to think too much about it in the moment. Then the thunder had struck. She wasn't scared of thunder, but loud noises that came out of nowhere was harder to accept. She hadn't really realised she had grabbed someone until they spoke. "Oh sorry darling, the thunder caught me terribly off-guard".

.｡.:*☆ "Sorry for being so late. Was at the mall to quickly get the food we ran out of and...." And then he had forgotten the time. A buddy Grogu knew from work had talked about all those comic books and movies in the new library, and had begged Grogu to go there with him sometime soon. Ideally, right in that moment, but Grogu had told his buddy he could not go, and that he had promised Din to get back home again quickly. Well, so much for that.

"I ran into someone and we talked," He said while placing the bags full of groceries on the kitchen counter. "If we would have those... oh, right, the word was mobile phones! Well, I would have texted you, if we would have those. But then it was late already, and I thought you most likely went to bed anyway, and all of that?"

There was a lot to be said about the future. There had definitely been some decent inventions since his time, and yet in some ways he still yearned for the past. Or perhaps it was the people he missed more than the place itself. They were all long gone now, but then he supposed technically so was he. He had died, how he woke up here he didn't know.

It was that nostalgic line of thought he supposed that had caused it. Looking up and seeing the man, for a moment he had been convinced that his son was standing in front of him. Impossible, Haythem had been about to turn ten last time he had seen him, hiding him and Tessa away before going after the people who had taken Jessica. The man standing there was probably older than he was. Yet the thought was well and truly in his mind.

"I wouldn't" he said, seeing that the man was about to go outside. "There's a storm coming" well he had spent years on the sea, he had learnt some of the signs. That aside, it gave him a chance to gage the other man's reaction... and then probably find somewhere to get a drink because he was definitely loosing it.

Closed Starter for Ariadne & Dionysus { @hxlcycnx } Location: their home

Ariadne had only just put Malva, her and Dionysus's daughter, to bed with a gentle smile on her lips as she closed the door to her room. The smile that her daughter put on her face fell, as a worried frown pulled at her lips while she wondered where her husband was. Normally, Dio was home in time for their bedtime routine, since he was the only one who was able to calm Mal down when it was bath time. The brunette even tried to call his office at the bar, only for the call to go right to voicemail. Ari tried to distract herself by cleaning up after their daughter, as the worries still swam in her head.

A sigh escaped her after it's been an hour of her cleaning, and still no sign of her husband. Her worries grew more as she wondered if he was okay, yet before those worrisome thoughts fully took over her head, she heard keys in the lock. Ariadne now knew her husband was home, and her worries would cease, so with a smile she moved to greet him at the door. What she saw caused a fresh frown to appear as she furrowed her brows, while dark hues took in the sight of Dionysus.

Ariadne knew what he was the god of, knowing that he liked a drink or two before he came home from work. Yet, something was off about her husband tonight, as he looked more undone than he normally did. He looked more drunk than she ever seen him. "Dio?" The brunette questioned, moving to place a hand on his arm softly. "Are you alright, my love?"

victoria hummed the tune she'd had stuck in her head all day as she made her way through their home. "victor, emily? are either of you home?" she called out, fingers tracing along the walls as she walked further into the home. she loved their home, it was a perfect balance of all three of them rather than something that had felt like a prison like her family home had been back where they were from. "oh there you are!" victoria exclaimed when she found her husband. "how was your day, my dear?" she questioned, a smiling small. she was glad to be home. the woman didn't have anybody to tutor the next day, so she was excited to be able to relax with her partners.

Aayla eye'd the other curiously, he hadn't physically changed. No, he was still the same old Master Kenobi but she could feel how the force sang around him ever so brightly. A feeling she hadn't felt from the other Jedi in the whole time she had known him, which was her whole life. "You haven't physically changed, but your practically singing in the force." She admitted honestly, a slight smile on her face. "Did something happen in the past day and a half since I last saw you?" She questioned with a bit of a probing look.

"I expect it's a little less luck and more skill in my case, but I'm glad it was just a scratch today. Wouldn't wanna deal with stitches or worse." Nico already had a bandaid out of his pocket to put on his arm, knowing the scratch was a bit bigger than the bandaid from his botched landing, but he figured it would do. "Thanks for the concern though. I'm not the most graceful so these sort of things happen to me pretty often."

                mel  sat  at  the  table  on  her  porch  ,  a  warm  cup  of  herbal  tea  sat  in  front  of  her  but  basically  untouched. she  didnt  understand  what  was  happening  ,  why  she  kept  having  the  same  dreams  over  and  over  again.  what  did  they  mean  ,  her  thoughts  were  filled  with  the  recurring  questions.  mel  didnt  think  she  was  gonna  get  a  good  nights  sleep  so  she  gave  up.  mel  was  watching  the  view  of  the  water  only  turning  her  head  slightly  when  she  heard  the  soft  opening  of  the  glass  door.  ‘  cant  sleep  either?  ‘  admittedly she had slipped out of bed but she couldnt stare at the ceiling anymore. /  mel  &  din  : @hxlcycnx

"your ego is big enough already," halsin joked at the other. but his next words made him frown. "is that really what you think of me?" he questioned. it was true that halsin liked to take many lovers at once. he allowed his heart to wonder, but he cared for them all in separate ways. but to suggest he merely 'collected' people and slept with them just because he could upset halsin. because he always liked to have a connection with them first. even if a one night stand is all the other wanted. halsin didn't like people assuming he just slept with people for the sake of it. "that i'm merely interested in people because of their physical features?"

tenel ka smiled, pushing the plate of pancakes across the bench towards the other. "eat, stopping worrying." she chuckled softly, shaking her head as she turned her back and went back to washing the dishes. she'd invited the other over for breakfast earlier in the week, it was something she liked to do for her friends - she liked to provide. "if you're missing any toppings let me know and i can get them out of the cupboard or the fridge." the red head explained. "i hope you enjoy them, i've been up since five this morning getting everything ready."

.｡.:*☆  "And what exactly makes you think that?" Qimir looked at the other man and frowned lightly. He did not know why, really, but lately, everything just felt wrong. Like Qimir was not himself anymore. Which was not typical. He was no man to doubt himself, usually.

"Just because, for most people, such words are nothing but a phrase," He added, frowning slightly. "They say it, but they do not mean it. In hopes to make whomever they are talking to actually feel better about themselves this way."

It hadn't been what she was expecting him to say, but it was a nice surprise. And of course, seeing happy animals always did cheer her up a little, perhaps that was what she needed. Maybe there was an animal shelter around here she could volunteer at, take her mind off what was going on. "Oh they're adorable" and a reminder that things really weren't so bad. "Do you have pets?"

"I am glad to see you," He smiled, and then went to give Violet a small hug. "Do you know what is going on here?" He then asked. "Or if anyone else we know found their way to Sydney as well?"

Of the people in Keyleth's life that she cared deeply about, the friends she had made at the Slayer's Cake were rather high up there, especially Vax. He was incredible in her eyes, but she kept quiet about her thoughts as she entered the bakery and waved in greeting to a regular she usually had at her floral shop before she walked over to the counter and smiled warmly at the familiar face. "Vax, I'm glad you're here because I have something for you." She muses, holding out a pot with a snapdragon standing in the middle of it. "It's just a little thank you for the kindness you give me, and to everyone else, I'm sure." She quickly adds with a blush as she puts it down gently. "If you don't like it, that's also okay, I just wanted to repay you in some way."
