"What are you doing here?" Remembering Percy was not exactly someone for hugs, Scanlan just gave him a pat on the back. "And yeah, I know - I am almost the same height as you now. Pretty cool, right?"

"Wanted to impress Pike. And yes, it obviously went wrong." Which was clear with how his shirt and face and hands were looking. "I can make music, but not handle more than one pot in the kitchen. Luckily, I did not burn myself, at least."

.｡.:*☆ "There is spring in the air, can you smell it?" Scanlan turned towards Blaine with a huge grin on his face as he spoke. It was nice. Like, DC surely was not like his old life. But he had his band, and was dating a really cute guy who had not turned and ran yet so.... Scanlan tried to be positive that this could last.

"I am already looking forward to bonfires and open-air gigs and barbecue." His smile grew only wider when thinking of this all.

"Speaking of barbecue - shall we go somewhere anf grab lunch, maybe?"

.｡.:*☆ “Vax, my old friend!” Scanlan grinned his typical grin when he spotted the other in the crowd of the club. There had been an open mic night, and, of course, Scanlan had felt the need to participate. Also because there was a slight chance someone of the old gang would show up when hearing him. Because despite everything that had happened, Scanlan was missing them.

“Mean, you are Vax, right?” He glanced at the other with head tilted to the side. “Because you look like him. Or, almost like him, to say at least.”

.｡.:*☆ Scanlan had no idea if Henry liked the song he had been writing for him. Because he was Scanlan. And none of his ballads were actually innocent. But, well, he was Scanlan. Which meant he was proud of them anyway. Usually, at least.

Now though, with his lute in arms, he was looking at the other male, waiting for any sort of reaction. In his mind, the performance had been brilliant. Which was why Scanlan could not stand still. Bouncing on his heels, waiting for Henry to finally say something to him....

"What do you suggest we do now? Shall we find a place where we can sleep?" Not that he did mind spening the night here with Pike. It was just not going the way Scanlan had planned it, and that was nagging on him now.

"Anyway, before we start to argue about this, and who is responsible and all - we should first clean up this mess here. What do you say?"

He'd been inspired to do an impromptu performance based on a jingle the radio had been playing. But, obviously, people had not liked what they had heard.

"Mean, they could simply have told me that it was not their sort of music or whatever... right?"

.｡.:*☆ Scanlan surely was right in the center of attention again during this open mic night. It was hard to tell though if the attention was positive or not, because, well... the songs he was singing were sort of... unique, to say at least.

Yet, it was not that Scanlan seemed to care. After the song was over, he bowed and waves before jumping off the stage, That was when he spotted someone in the crowd. Someone that seemed to be familiar. He blinked, and then simply walked over to the person.

"Pike?" He asked, scanning her from head to toe with head tilted to the side. "Is that really you?"

.｡.:*☆ “Not wanting to brag, but I sort of knew you would be here.” Scanlan had excused himself, leaving his band mates behind when spotting Vex in the club they did have a gig at that night. He could not exactly tell if people had actually liked it, but… they had not kicked him out, so, there was that.

“Mean, your brother is here. And the two of you are usually not seperated for too long, if I do remember that right.”

.｡.:*☆ "I just want to point out that I did not have planned to die anytime soon," Scanlan mused before raising his glass again and having a sip from his drink. He liked being the center of the party, always had, and that would most likely never change. Even when sometimes, he wished it would....

"Which does not mean I do not agree to the first part," He therefore quickly added, laughing. Not wanting to be responsible to spoil his own mood. "Let us live as long as we can, and all of that, right?"
