You were trying to figure why they did and what went wrong your relationship with them. The worst thing was that it looked like they didn’t have any remorse and even if they did you felt like it was because you caught them. Ultimately you kicked them out not wanting to hear more and confided in your own feelings. Your best friend Mike noticed a change in your behaviour after receiving an upsetting text from you to which he learned the news. As much as he didn’t want to feel this he actually felt happy that this happened. To be honest he never liked your ex when you two were dating and especially now learning the news. But to keep the peace he didn’t express it. To be honest he actually found himself liking you but didn’t get the chance to confess. Now with your ex out of the way he figured he could express these emotions while comforting you.
