˚₊‧꒰ა ♡ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚       ALLUME is a six member generational girl group under Flowerbank Entertainment. They debuted in 2000 with a five-member line up. Their debut single GET UP became an instant hit, topping the South Korean charts and even breaking into the Japanese charts. Their successful debut would prove to be the blueprint for how the group would perform for years to come.

The group operates on a generation system, being one of the few K-pop groups to do the system properly and consistently. Every five years, the group will undergo a graduation of all the members and bring in new members, ushering in a new generation of Allume. The group is currently in its fifth generation.

Often compared to AKB for their extravagant stage outfits and graduation ceremonies, the group is performance-focused and has been home to some of the greatest performers in Flowerbank Entertainment. Most girls who graduate from Allume go on to become soloists or actresses, staying under Flowerbank. The group's generations all come together every five years to perform together, a tradition to usher in the new generation.

They are not without their scandals of course. They've been hit with plagiarism scandals in their early days, getting sued by SM Entertainment at one point for allegedly plagiarizing S.E.S's "Dreams Come True" in 2001. Hey, isn’t this quite an early change in a character’s backstory? Oh, not for Kim Hyunjoo, whose story usually ends in a few years.  You could argue it’s reasonably early for Lee Sookyung – her story is nowhere near complete, and this time, there’s no need to spend a decade or so in prison for her husband’s death if her husband does not so severely abuse his wife and child that murder is the only option.  Still, she’s a fully realized adult.  Her entire life leading up to this has already set the shape of the person she is. But let’s consider Kim Dokja. A child, not even ten years old.  Impressionable and malleable, the structure of his identity not yet solidified.  Any events that take place at this time are foundationally significant.

✧ eunsae and her mom have a weird dynamic that was built off of years of turmoil. growing up, hyunjoo never really acted like a parent. from age 1-6, eunsae was solely raised by her grandparents in seoul. hyunjoo was never fit to be a parent and was at her worst during the time eunsae lived with her grandparents. even when eunsae went back to lived with her it was still bad. hyunjoo would neglect her and basically leave her to take care of herself, which caused eunsae to develop unhealthy behaviors and surround herself with toxic people.

✧ when eunsae moved in with her father, it angered hyunjoo so much, she stopped contacting her. anytime eunsae would try to call her, she’d never answer and even changed to home locks so the old house key eunsae had wouldn’t work.

✧ before eunsae when to korea for the summer turned permanently, she visited her mother to say goodbye, however it ended in an argument that left eunsae in tears. since then, eunsae has only spoken to her mother a handful of times.

✧ eunsae met her dad when she was 15 and they instantly connected. their first meeting was filled with jokes and funny stories about each other’s lives. eunsae picked up a lot of bad habits from living with her mother, but every since they met, her dad has been helping her unlearn those habits and develop a healthy, safer, lifestyle.

✧ ever since eunsae debuted, her dad has been her biggest fan. he calls her almost everyday and is constantly praising her for her achievements. he’s even made an appearance in one of her vlogs while she was home.

✧.* MASON LEE ; BROTHER

✧ eunsae and her brother are 10 years apart, him only being 5 when they met. at first her little brother was quiet and seemed a little intimidated by her. it took two more meetings after the first for him to warm up to her. after eunsae moved in, they became inseparable. mason genuinely looks up to eunsae and always wanted to spend time with her, whether it was playing video games, or watching cartoons.

✧ when eunsae left for korea, mason was super sad about it. leading up to it, he made sure to hang around her everyday and spent more time in her room than his own. when he found out eunsae was staying in korea permanently he was devastated. though over time and daily facetime calls, he became happy for eunsae. he definitely brags about having a famous sister.

✧ a lot of time, eunsae’s grandparents felt like her real parents, especially her grandmother. even though her grandparents have disowned hyunjoo, they’ve never turned their backs on eunsae. no matter how old eunsae gets, they’ll always treat her like their baby. her grandmother was actually the one who gave her the name ‘eunsae’. because they’re her only family who lives in korea, she visits as often as she can. she regularly spends holidays with them when she doesn’t have a long enough break to travel back to the states.

✧.* MOCHA ; DOG

✧ her child. mocha is literally her child. her dad got her for eunsae as a gift when she moved in with him. she did in fact cry when she saw her for the first time. she gave her the name mocha because “she looks like a mocha latte and i might be saying that because i just had one, but it’s cute so that’s her name.”

✧ cuddling with mocha definitely heals eunsae’s inner child. anytime she was upset, mocha would come running into her room and she would cuddle her until she fell asleep. one of the hardest parts of leaving the u.s was leaving her dog, however with all of the pictures and videos her dad sends her, she knows she’s okay.

࣪𖤐 jeong chaewon was born on june 17th, 2004 to her parents, min hyunjoo and jeong daesung. her mother hyunjoo passed away during childbirth, so she was raised by her father along with her older brother, wonjae.

࣪𖤐 when chaewon was 2, her family moved to beverly hills, california. her father grew up there and gotten a job offer in the city. since she moved, her and her brother would travel to korea in the summer to stay with their grandparents.

࣪𖤐 when chaewon was 6, she began to take dance classes, excelling in styles like hip hop, jazz, and contemporary. when she was 8, she realized that she wanted to do it professionally began to take it more seriously, specifically hip hop. she started taking classes from popular choreographers, appearing in some viral dance videos on youtube.

࣪𖤐 when she was 14 she attended a jyp audition with her friend who didn’t want to go alone. chaewon had no interest in being an idol nor was she even fully familiar with kpop. but one of the staff from jyp recognized her and asked her to audition. she would begin training at jyp in april of 2019.

࣪𖤐 she was actually kicked out of jyp due to behavioral problems. while she was used to strict teachers as a dancer, the kpop trainee system was much different than what she was used to. add to that her being a young teenager and her distain for being treated like a small child, she often displayed a careless attitude and what could be taken as disrespect towards staff.

࣪𖤐 after leaving jyp, she planned on going back to LA and continuing her dance career, however a casting director at source music sought her out and asked her to join the company, with the promise of debuting in their next girl group that would fit her style and personality.

࣪𖤐 while training with the members who would later become ‘le sserafim’ (except eunchae) the trainers and other staff recognized that while chaewon, who was going as ‘bella’ at the time, fit well in the group, she had more potential to thrive as a solo artist and ultimately, that’s what she chose to do.

"Printing solid-state elastic conductors with three-dimensional geometries is challenging because the rheological properties of existing inks typically only allow for layer-wise deposition," Byeongmoon Lee, Hyunjoo Cho and their colleagues wrote in their paper. "We show that an emulsion system—consisting of a conductive elastomer composite, immiscible solvent and emulsifying solvent—can be used for the omnidirectional printing of elastic conductors. The viscoelastic properties of the composite provide structural integrity to the printed features—allowing freestanding, filamentary and out-of-plane three-dimensional geometries to be directly written—and pseudo-plastic and lubrication behaviors that provide printing stability and prevent nozzle clogging."
