Trying to figure out Till the End of the Moon based solely on gifs on my dash is hilarious. Half the time Luo Yunxi looks like the evilest meow meow about to burnenate the peasants and the other half he looks like a soggy cinnamon roll someone intentionally maliciously left out in the rain and there is no in between.

I got potential news (not happy, but I mean not sad). Latest justice in the dark (rumor) updates: was taken down due to legal issues (likely copyright) and they do plan to re air from the beginning at a later date once issue is taken care of and cdrama airing timing is right. Rumor is actors were requested to rake down their farewell letters. Meaning... the show is back in hiatus. Like the past several months. Except now the 8 episodes can only be watched on unofficial sites in the meantime.

Anyway I saw 2 posts on weibo which were rumor only, mentioning airing later, and one post on weibo mentioning the reason for taking the show off was copyright issues.

On mydramalist comments someone mentioned a Twitter thread on why it was taken down, but I can't see shit on Twitter right now so im just going by what the comment said. The Twitter thing they quoted: Cao5903 (@cao5903) Staff Youku said: "Due to some unexpected reasons that could not be controlled in time, we had to take down #JusticeInTheDark to handle it. My favorite sequence in today's eps was the antidote one. Where there is only enough medicine for one antidote. And Ziyu gives the bottle with it to YWS, a woman he believes does not love him.

The way he talks about protecting her and how he promised - you see her fall in love deeper and deeper.

And so she fakes taking it just to pour it down his throat...

While she just takes the usual painkiller.

And then I started high-pitched screaming...

The thing that kills me is he was NEVER going to live under any scenario - she loves him or she does not. I mean the painkiller with the actual medicine is still there for her to take regardless whether she drinks the fake medicine from the flask or gives it to him. What he bet on wasn't his life, but whether he was loved before he dies. !!!!!! (And Ziyu's incredible stubbornness manifests yet again - the truth drug literally "proved" she does not love him and yet he refuses to believe it.)

But then she collapses in his arms and the way he loses it!!!!

I am glad the control poison proved to be no impediment to YWS' long term survival and is actually a medicine but that four hour window where the possessor is helpless is not giving me joy - I bet this is how daddy was killed (by someone knowing when his interval was) but also I can just see assassins coming for Ziyu when he's in that interval. Though - maybe maybe I am seeing a glimmer of hope for a happy ending for these two? I mean we already went through one of them believing the other is dead and breaking down over their body? PS I've pretty much accepted Kunning is like a het HYX and is a drama that will always going to have a rumored soon air date but never air, but watching ZLH slay (no pun intended) in MJTY, I think it's a great great pity. Because he would have killed (pun intended now) in that role.
