I saw your post on your version of the mother box and absolutely loved your picks and how they all support each other either by power or support (Astruc take notes, lol). I also have to ask out of curiosity what the lineup would look like with tikki and plagg as the alpha pair for this box?

I decided not to put both the Butterfly and the Peacock in this box since they can play a pretty similar role, and in the end I decided to put the Peacock in since it doesn't require another person to use the power. Of course I had to include Pollen because Bee is still the most useful power. I decided to also carry over the Turtle, Horse, Chameleon, Rooster, Mouse, Crab, and Jaguar for the same reasons as in my first post.

As for my Okapi, Jiicho, I think I underestimated them by not putting them on the last list. As the kwami of Dimension they and their holder can experience different levels of realty, such as being able to move up a Dimension become a fourth dimensional being. While the whole thing is difficult to wrap one's mind around as 3D being, this means in theory they could escape from a fully enclosed room, see from angles and depths one couldn't understand, and perhaps perceive events going on beyond a wall that would block a 3D being's view. And seeing as Jiicho and their holders can go up to even more Dimensional levels or go lower... I think they deserve a place in the most powerful box.

My Thylacine is another I overlooked last time, being able to temporarily remove something from this plane of existence is OP. Also my Elephant, being able to manipulate Memories, especially those who learn identities? Definitely should be in the most powerful box. My Falcon grants the power to see anywhere at once, and my Owl can let one hide away information, which would be useful for maintaining identities and all the secrets the magical world carries.

Some of the original canon pokes u can catch you can also take to a Modico station ‘modicubes’ that are like in Pokémon centers and stuff anyway u can take them and some you can change to like Entolian Forms and some you can just change their types. Not all can be changed like there will only be like 20 or so and the company says it’s because cracking the Genome of different Pokémon takes time because Pokémon vary so widely.

U can se delta Pokémon in the wild as well tho it’s not common. When a Pokémon is delta variant it has a different color or pattern so it’s like easy to see. It’s kinda like finding a shiny but it’s not that rare. They also don’t sparkle when u find them just different colors. If u breed a delta there’s a percentage that u can breed a delta. Some Pokémon can only get one delta type but some have like idk maybe three options. It’s not like. U can take any Pokémon and add any element. That’s what Modico wants but they’re not there yet.

The region is a series of islands. Not like Hawaii more like. Iceland and Greenland and like. A third idk. Anyway most travel is don’t by bird like that’s the fast travel mechanic and it’s by a giant condor themed bird that also takes flavor from bearded vultures. The babies are a bit stupid cute but useless. They’re dodos.

however, this is still way less than I’d like to have before I release these. this is the slot with the biggest visual impact, after all! I currently have WIPs for 3 other types: tattered (a lionfish/ bettafish style), lobe-finned (a coelacanth style), and continuous (an eel style).

the second customizable attribute, primary features, currently has a few different categories within it. I’ve tentatively divided them into:

dorsal (things on the back)

ventral (things on the underside)

face (things on the... c’mon, guess)

chin

eyes

this category will mix-and-matchable, so the base could have a primary feature from each of the above slots if desired. for example, an adopt could have a long mane, rounded belly scales, large teeth, a short beard, and glowing eyes. or any other combination possible! (this could end up looking rather busy though, so sometimes picking less is more.)

dorsal features: plain (no extras), short mane, long mane, small spines, big spines, thin spines, angular spines, barbels, & fans.

ventral features: plain (no extras), pointed scales, & rounded scales.

face features: plain (no extras), small teeth, large teeth, jagged teeth, walrus tusks, & whiskers.

chin features: plain (no extras), short beard, long beard, standard beard (like the on-site male base), braided beard, fans, and shielded (like the  on-site flared belly scales).

the various eye types available also fall here. only multigaze is done currently, but I’m also expanding it’s scope- for example, you could have all the eyes of multigaze be ‘plague rare’ colored, or ‘light faceted’, etc. or each eye could even be a different color- like a whole rainbow of elements along the base’s lateral line. gotta love customization! :-]

currently for primary features, I have WIPs for a few other types: boar tusks, narwhal tusks, & overlapping belly scales (an arowana style). I’d love more ideas here too!

the third customizable attribute will be genes, which will function as they do on-site (and not be as complex as the other categories lol). I’ve already finished most of the primary genes I plan to do, so hopefully the rest go quickly! (this section is mostly just for my own reference.)

primary genes done: basic, bar, cherub, clown, fade, falcon, giraffe, jaguar, jupiter, leopard, petals, piebald, poison, ripple, savannah, skink, swirl, tiger, vipera.

tertiary genes done: basic, underbelly, spines, stained.

aaand that’s all I have down for everything so far! :-] not a bad start for a project I shelved for a couple of years (sorry to everyone kept waiting lol)... but slow progress is still progress! and, once again...

Lair Review for FoxyPlant!

@boxed-heart​ - Yesss, Nature lair! And a really fun Nature lair it is.

I have to start out with Jiggle! They’re GREAT. Wonderful skin, the apparel is minimal but perfect, the tailtaille is seamlessly integrated, and the bio art is AMAZING, the third one in particular I adore!

Swampert! Lovely accent, but the apparel is wonderful, and absolutely the sort of thing I’d dress my own dragons in! I love that you used the glowing nails (which are underutilizied apparel) and the mushroom colony and, of course, HIM BIRD YELL.

Unknown! LOVE THE COLORS. I actually love the thylacine here, too! And the accent is a perfect compliment for a triple-metals dragon. That plus the multigaze? Very ominous! I love how there’s eyes everywhere except the actual head.

Brittle! Copper is one of my favorite colors, and it’s at its absolute best here! And the pistachio tert works AMAZINGLY well, I honestly would have guessed ice - truly a lovely dragon!

Iris! Another fantastic multigaze dragon, the eyes and the peacock are SO GOOD TOGETHER, holy shit. All the colors are, really? And the accent ties it all together so very nicely! Also, the bio has made me consider Imperial-sized quantities of conditioner, and honestly - wow. That’d be an industry.

Whisper! Great use of apparel, the single piece is everything needed along with the accent, and I LOVE the colors - I also love just the symmetry of wine/wine/fire, fire eyes? And then the very nicely written and very alarming bio!

To wrap things up...

Goblin! I hope her ferret helps her steal treasure. She also embodies one of my favorite things ever, where there’s an xyz dragon that’s coherent and could almost be a doubles of one kind or another - absolutely lovely, and I hope her pouches are burstingly full of treasure!

Things that aren't Pokémon yet and I really want them to be

I used this as reference for what isn't a Pokémon yet btw

Swordfish. It's a fish with a big, pointy nose! Make it Water/Steel!

Dumbo octopus. Only gained popularity in recent years, but they're so darn cute! Their little head flaps look like ears or wings, which is how they got their name!

Manatee. Big, peaceful sea cow pals. I love them. Water/Normal?

Harp seal. Specifically baby harp seals. Did anyone else watch Seabert as a kid?

Platypus. It's too ridiculous to not be a Pokémon.

Chihuahua. It would be cool if they referenced their reputation for being brave and aggressive by making it Fighting or even Dark type. Plus the exaggerated body proportions could make it fun!

Snow leopard. Could be a Liepard variation? Obviously Ice type.

Capybara. They're nature's perfect friend! Could be Water/Normal as well.

Aye-Aye. Known for their extremely unique appearance, and old legends linked them to witches and curses bc people were afraid of them. Could be Dark type.

Possum. Famous for their ability to play dead and immunity to snake venom. What a combo!

Peacock. How isn't this a Pokémon yet? They're iconic!

Komodo Dragon. I know the toxic saliva isn't real, but still. Badass.

Fire-bellied Toad. Possible Fire/Water Pokémon?

Crab Grass & Crab Apple. Could be a pun-based evolution line where it's literally a grass-covered crab and a crab shaped like an apple.

Ankylosaur. Awesome dinosaur with a mace for a tail? Yes, please!

Tasmanian Tiger, aka Thylacine. My favorite animal, even though they're extinct. And that nearly 180 degree mouth gape? Amazing.

Hot dog/Dachshund pun. Look, I....I like puns. And also grew up watching Oswald.

Russian Nesting Dolls. It's a Pokémon within a Pokémon within a Pokémon!

Flying pig. It's time for pigs to fly.

Past/Present/Future. Maybe a Legendary trio? Could be Ghost types.

Space Whale. BEST aesthetic.

Bigfoot. Him feet too big for he gotdam him.

Jackalope. They're so weird, they need to be a Pokémon!

La Chupacabra. Cool as heck.

Pegasus. I rly wanted this to be a variant or Mega for Rapidash, but even as it's own Pokémon it would be great.

Sandman. You know, the spirit that put the sleepy gunk in your eyes? Could be Ground/Fairy.

Leprechaun. Could be a special, rare encounter Pokémon that drops money if you defeat or catch them, like how Audino gave extra EXP.

Vampire. We have vampire bat Pokémon, why not a straight-up vampire?

ok so #1, i want to applaud u for having so few dragons bc i could never do that since i lack impulse control. and not only do you have few dragons, they're mostly color coordinated? at least in the clan of broken earth. like the entire lair (not den). i'm really impressed ok

i absolutely love her, and love her twice more for being a g1 PC f? i know everyone defaults to male WC when it's g1, but you know what's up. f PC is where it's at.

i adore the basic. idk if you plan on changing it, but you don't need to. basic oilslick is the perfect canvas to show off that accent and the light oranges? because terracotta python also gives that orange. she's perfection and deserves the title of queen.

indil is also stunning??

i know orange and blue is a marketing tactic used in literally every B action movie. but it's used for a reason. it's action-y. it's contrast. it's perfect for indil as a commander. i'm so sold on fire trail being the star here. i always say fire is the best capsule, and now it's one of the top trail, too. black and white accenting with the primary and tert. good use of claw tips. good use of flight rising’s apparel that always pairs orange w a non-matching color.

i’m so absolutely in love with the accent + his facet and capsule all complimenting his fire eyes without explicitly being in the orange/fire range. perfect clothing. great use of the lanterns. i’m all about this man. i can’t find a single thing i dislike (even the bar is good and im not usually a fan). he’s prime ok

cassiopeia was a choice out of left field but... i’m really loving her? i think those halo accents are underrated and i love them (i also wish accent layering was a thing bc i have a few in my vault). she exudes the energy of a hazy planetary galaxy and i’m loving it. the peacock giving those light blue hues with the varying blues on the primary? divine. the candles look right at home. even the sword doesn’t seem too out there because of the white accenting in the pants. love them

i’m absolutely adoring this man and his accent. his colors are visually appealing, hitting that brown/blue combo i love so much. i’ll never get over how good birdskull apparel is when used appropriately. desmond does it right. the ghostly theme is also on point. i know he’s in a vampire tab but like... cmon. i’m loving what’s underneath those starsilks. the ferocious armguard? the deadpan jesters things? the hoary scales? i’m really into it. great accenting giving the apparel a color palate and it’s G O O D

when goat first came out, i was a critic. i’m willing to be wrong on occasion.

i’m in love with how his colors play off his eyes. theres so many purples and none of them clash! not to mention the gem on his accent matches the actual cerise in his python. he doesn’t even need apparel. he’s good as is.
