Not gonna lie, a little disappointed in @tracingpapier. Turning off reblogs so I couldn't even respond to her is a bit of a petty move. This is a long ass response, so I'm gonna use bullets to respond to each point.

If you have me blocked, tracinpapier must be a side-blog or something cuz I can see your blog just fine, reblog your posts, and mention you.

I actually am worried about someone being scammed. GoFundMe's on Tumblr have nearly all been scams since they first started appearing. GoFundMe's based around Gaza are all phrased the same way, often have the same images and are usually vetted by one single person. But all of them completely lack evidence they're legit in any capacity. I don't want scammers taking advantage of people's compassion to get a little richer. If this wasn't my motivation, I'd just leave y'all to keep donating. XD

How is that deligitimizing what they experienced? If it's not a genocide, it's not a fucking genocide. Correctly labeling something is only "deligimizing" if you think it needs to be wrongly labeled as a worse thing to be legitimate. A very Oppression Olympics way of thinking.

The UN has Iran on it's human rights council, has uncritically backed Hamas' lies to the point they've had to roll back their estimations on how many have died in the conflict due to Hamas doing so themselves, the ICJ, a UN court, fell asleep listening to Israel's defense in the South Africa case, and an UN judge stated he was going to go to Israel to gather evidence and instead didn't go to Israel and called for arrest warrants against israeli leaders. This is all to say, I really don't give a fuck if a random UN Reporter (or "Rapporteur") said something. This is an appeal to authority fallacy using a very biased authority. And for that matter, it was was so cut an dry, and the UN had evidence of genocide, why didn't the ICJ convict Israel of genocide? Sounds to me like this is more an opinion piece than an actual piece of evidence.

If you can't verify the GoFundMe's are legitimate, and I know for a fact you've 100% been on Tumblr long enough to know that most GoFundMe's on here are scams, sharing them uncritically is irresponsible.

Your best option is 100% to ignore it. GoFundMe themselves say that they cannot send money to Gaza, as it is not listed among their supported countries. And quite frankly, it is far FAR more likely to be a scam than a legit cry for help from a group you think is facing genocide and, given you hold pro-pal beliefs, famine. This means you also likely buy into the idea they have no electricity, water or shelter. Tell me, how does that equal "is capable of live-blogging to social media"? Hell, if this is legit, why would they ask for tens of thousands of dollars instead of the actual amount they'd need to evacuate (which is a LOT smaller than that)?

Hey, you can post what you want. I wasn't telling you to delete it. If you want to spread a likely scam because there's tiniest fraction of a chance a Gazan is actually asking for help, and being greedy as fuck while they do so, them by all means, spread it. As you say, it's your blog. I was just giving the info that GoFundMe does not operate in the middle east, so that way anyone who uses their brain and looks through the notes of your post can realize they're most likely looking at a scam. Just as you have the right to post whatever you want, I have the right to give information proving something you posted is unlikely to be legit.

My tag isn't a general discourse tag, it's a general filter tag. One I've used for years and see no reason to stop using for potentially triggering content simply because it's a bit more serious than the usual stuff I use it for. And I disagree about this being a genocide. That should already be obvious since you called me a "Zionist" and you people think basically means "Nazi who gets off to the idea of dead kids."

Yes you are, and I never said you were the person to argue with about this. I wasn't trying to argue, I was giving information to anyone who sees the post. Unlike you, apparently, I care about avoiding giving money to monsters who take advantage of people's compassion.

As I said before, I can see your blog, mention you and reblog from you. I had no way of knowing I had been blocked by you, especially since I've followed you for years and you've not once even TRIED telling me you weren't comfortable with that despite all the times I've faced and reblogged your art. So don't pretend I'm doing something wrong here. I had no way of knowing you did not want me interacting with your blog.

Let me make this last part clear so you can't complain about it later:

I will only respond to you. I will not seek your blog to send you asks or to stalk any posts you might be making behind my back. This conversation ends when you stop responding.

hey all! so that post about po ship names got more support than expected, and i see at least two people would like to know the names i've come up with. so, here are some of my better works!

note that i don't ship really any of these that much, mainly cuz the only ship ive definitively decided so far that yes this is my yaoi is kaijoe, and also because a portion of these are crack-ish ships that i haven't seen anyone ship like at all (although i haven't checked out po ao3 yet so some of these might actually exist and i just have a blind spot). so if that fact degrades the quality of the names for you, sorry i guess

bulldozer, for bull/sandman. coming from bull, and to "doze" is to fall asleep, and also bulldozer is a word. kinda surprised i haven't seen this ship around, to me it feels like at least someone would ship it.

chocolate milk, for bull/doc. chocolate for doc, and bulls are male cows and female cows produce milk. this is a ship i'm pretty sure exists, but i haven't seen a name for it yet, so maybe this is already an accepted ship name for it like with the glass cannon situation. who knows

bullrush, for bull/hondo. it's a pretty obvious name, but it sounds really good so it's staying here.

redbull, for sodabull. redbull is a carbonated energy drink, which is basically soda. also bull in the name. i know this is one of the bigger ships in the tumblr po fandom, and i cannot believe no one calls it this. i can't have been the first person to come up with this! but everyone calls the ship sodabull so i just gotta live with it but now i'm breaking my silence!! sodabull should be called redbull. i mean maybe not in tags cuz that could get it mixed up with the energy drink but like you know!

popstar, for soda/macho. pop from soda pop(inski), and star because macho is a hollywood star. i feel the exact way about this one as i do with redbull-- it's a good fucking name but i haven't seen any macho/soda shippers use it and it drives me nuts

russian roulette, for soda/aran. soda's russian, and aran has a theme of luck, thus roulette. i haven't seen this ship much recently but scrolling back a while on the soda tag shows that this ship has existed. and i have not seen it be called russian roulette. what is it with soda ships and not reaching their name potential?

piña colada, for hippo/soda. piña colada is an often-alcoholic drink (soda has references to alcohol, and also his name used to be vodka) with pineapple in it (hippo has a lot of connexions to pineapples). ok, this ship i have not seen anyone ship (yet). this name i really just randomly came up with, but i like it and i think it fits and sounds good

dragon dance, for dragon/heike. this is mainly a reference to the move from pokémon of the same name. i am just about certain this ship exists, but i just! haven't! seen it yet!

pizzapie, for pizza/clown. pizzas are sometimes referred to as pies, or pizza-pies, and clowns are known for throwing pastry pies as physical comedy. ok guys hear me out! uh! uh. ok i got nothing, this ship just entered my mind one night and hasn't left since, like a prophet recieving a vision from a god except the god is dionysus wasted off his ass.

spaghetti and meatballs, for pizza/ref mario. i have no explanation for this one. i am so sorry. idk why so many pizza pasta ships come into my mind, that fucker has 0 canon personality

pineapple-shaped disco ball, for disco/hippo. i think the name's pretty obvious. i uh once heard the word cluster "pineapple-shaped disco ball" and immediately thought "lmao that sounds like a ship name for disco kid and king hippo" and promptly put it on my note of ship name ideas. i really like it for them because it's verbose and clunky, it sounds like something their collective braincell and a half would come up with.

oh and! if a name i have here already exists, please do tell! especially if it's redbull or popstar, those two drive me mad. clown.

My words were bent, brave, bored, and back, with body and bludgeon as bonus words to find. These excerpts are taken from my unnamed WIP.

Bent It took a couple minutes of struggling before he shifted the blindfold low enough for it to fall around his neck. The room around him was empty. There was no furniture, no pictures hanging on the walls—there was no nothing on the walls. They were bare concrete, without even drywall or decorative paper to cover them. The ceiling bore an uncovered light with a long bead chain hanging from the base.

He hung in the center of the room not far below the naked light, the black zip ties that circled his wrists hooked over what looked like bent rebar embedded deep into the gray ceiling. Riley pulled his legs up and wiggled to see if he could chafe through the plastic. After a moment, he decided he could, given time. However, it was likely he would shred his skin with it, so he stopped to find another way free.

Brave Don’t have this word. Pretty sure I don’t have this word in any of my WIPs tbh, but here’s a little fact about Aaron, since I don’t think I’ve shared much about him. Aaron has a very unique ability—he can read minds. Given that this WIP is set in mundane, magic-free Earth, this ability of his is one-of-a-kind. Everyone is just lucky Aaron’s not the kind of person to use this ability for evil!

Bored When he awoke, he was still alone. He had no idea how much time had passed, but the mug and thermos of coffee were both gone. Someone had come in while he was asleep and retrieved them. He shifted as much as he could, but everything felt normal. They hadn’t done anything to him.

He tried again to get free of the straps, but his efforts were just as futile as before. So he waited. No one came in. He struggled again, out of sheer boredom this time. Still nothing. Still no one came in.

Hours passed. Eventually he drifted off to sleep again.

Back She barked again, the sound harsh and reprimanding. Jimmy fell silent. Avalanche clicked her teeth together, then looked expectantly at Riley.

With a sigh, he muttered, “What’d she say?”

“She said to apologize.” Jimmy’s voice was just as sullen.

“Fuck no,” Riley said.

No sooner were the words out of his mouth than Avalanche was suddenly at his side. She swung her muzzle at him, cracking her jaw across his hip bone with enough force to make him back down. It was like catching the corner of a counter.

“Fuck! Fine!” Limping away from the door, Riley pressed his hands against his hip as if he could smother the pain. He clenched his jaw and ground out, “Sorry.”

Body On the other side of the dining room, a man aimed a gun at him. Riley’s eyes flicked to the man’s body that lay over his gun.

“Don’t try it,” the mercenary warned, taking a careful step closer. “I’ll take half price if my alternative is getting shot cuz of greed.”

“I respect that,” Riley said. “But I don’t wanna be caged.”

“I respect that,” the mercenary said with the tiniest nod. Then he suddenly yelled, “In here!”

“Shit!” Bastard! Riley threw himself to the side, out of the mercenary’s view through the doorway and ran even before he’d regained his balance.

Bludgeon Don’t have this word. Another little tidbit about Aaron, since I used him for the other fun fact: if it wasn’t for Aaron, there would be no Danny. When they first meet, Danny is entirely lost, and Aaron’s aforementioned ability is the only reason even he is able to get through to Danny

love when my thinking is absolutely irrational. all my life i hav felt like there's a constant pattern of when i am doing badly n don't know how to express it so i bottle it up, there are nests of bugs following me. happened last year when my dad died i got a lady bug nest in my room, now our a/c is broken n we have no idea when it'll be fixed and i am so fucking miserable not even just cuz of the a/c but it sure doesn't help to be sitting at a constant temp of like 80 degrees At Least making it worse n now there are bees trying to make a home on the roof of our porch. it may not b rational but it sure is a pattern i notice every time
