My bestie went to Scotland and caught a shiny Omanyte in PoGo...and then she just gave it to me?? 😭 I've been wanting one for a LONG time, so I painted her to celebrate.

Peter contrary to popular belief doesn’t have any spider pokemon until after he creates his hero persona. His companion is actually a lil Furret Uncle Ben caught as a Sentret for Peter when he moved in. Her name is Furry and he has to live with that (he was like 5 or whatever of course he’d name her something like that). She probably goes out on spider things with him, she has her own costume and everything, and clings onto his back when he’s swinging. He does befriend a Spinarak during this time, but she’s more of a wild pokemon that just like hanging out with him.

Ben probably has a doggish pokemon, probably like a normal type, or something like a Growlithe. I can’t shake the idea of May having a Kangaskhan. It’s probably like a relatively small one, she helps May around the house a lot and is Mom.

Max definitely has a bunch of electric types that follow him around after his transformation into Electro. Just like hordes of wild pokemon that like to hang out around him. I like the idea of his partner being like a lil Pichu he dotes on. Just a babey.

Otto has an Omanyte you can’t change my mind. It evolves into Omastar a little after he becomes Doc Ock. As an Omanyte it’s shy and gentle with everyone, but after it evolves it stays very loving with its trainer but is an absolute bastard with everyone else. I can also see him picking up a Malamar later or something like a Porygon.

Norman has a shiny Glameow, she wears sweaters probably and is very spoiled. His partner tho is a Sableye. He also kept his wife’s Sneasel after she passed away and Sneasel is Sableye’s goth gf. I can’t tell if Sneasel is really big or Sableye is really small, but compared to her Sableye is teeny.

Harry has an Eevee for Symbolism tm and also because I can see him with a Flareon. He might also have a Poochyena. Eevee I can see Norm pressuring him to evolve it into an Umbreon, dark types are probably like a weird family tradition or something. Oh my god there’s exactly an episode in the first series about this oh my god anyway.

They have so many pokemon in that house I’m not even done why. do they. Anyway When Norman does Goblin things he meets a Gengar and a Crobat pair that lives in one of the lesser used Oscorp warehouses. Again they’re more like wild pokemon that like hanging out with a person, but they take a shine to him. When he goes out on Crimes they follow, Gengar floats just behind Crobat to look like he’s riding a glider and imitates all of Goblins moves, especially when he’s on a dramatic villain monologue. No one can tell if it just really likes him or is making fun of him. On mimicking/mirroring notes, his Sableye probably does the same thing with more mundane stuff. Like a toddler. When he’s doing paperwork it probably tries to do it too and has to be set up with like paper and crayons off to the side so it doesn’t try to do his work for him lmao. God I really love pets/pokemon mimicking their owners it’s so cUTE.

Mac definitely has a Drapion. He didn’t even get it after he started being Scorpion he just always had the lil guy. It was fate.

It’s hurting me so hard not to give JJJ a Loudred just for the Jokes tm. It physically pains me not to. I can see him also having a small bird like a Fletchling. He sends it through the office with little notes that say shit like “get back to work” for when he can’t come out to yell Personally. No one blames the little bird though and most give it a little pet before it flies off again.

Speaking of birds yes Adrian has so many. He’s got maybe a Braviary or a Staraptor that looks just as old as he is. I’m leaning towards old grey shiny Staraptor but I love Staraptor so I’m kind of biased. Smaller bird pokemon probably follow him around when he’s flying and doing crimes, like the little fish that hang out under mantarays and whale sharks. Flying under the shadow of this Bigger Bird who doesn’t do anything to them to protect themselves from Less Friendly Big Birds.

MJ has a Charmeleon definitely. Maybe also a Lillipup but deffo a Charmeleon.

I can see Gwen with dragon types. A little Dratini maybe.

That’s literally all I can think of at this point but like. Spider-Man Pokemon AU.

Master Dex Challenge Week 5: (click to enlarge graphs)

I know, I said I was going to do a combined graphic, but it started to look a little messy, so I moved back to separate Gens, but next week I should be finished with Gen I entirely, so after that week, we’ll be back to one Gen at a time. 

This week we added 11 pokémon to Gen I for a total of 160/174

We added our first 14 pokémon to Gen II for a total of 14/150

Currently still breeding Gen I starters and In-Game trades, but that’ll be all wrapped up by next week, surely. 

I had to do this weird “two gens at once” thing because I had to access the daycare in Gen II. Of course I was going to add to my Gen II roster in doing so, so I wanted to present pokémon accurately to the respective weeks in which they were caught.

Gen I Highlights:

Completely wrapped up Blue by sending my starter, Blastoise, to Gen II to breed. He’ll be sent to Gen I Red to be sent to the bank, to maintain Kanto-Native status. Blue is ready to reset for Charmander.

Bought Porygon in Blue, I’ll shiny hunt on my own time, so as to not obstruct the progress of the challenge. 

The Scyther I sent to Gen II to breed was female, so I sent it back and up to the bank, and it maintained that gender. Not sure if that’s the code’s MO, but we’ll see when I get my first female Bulbasaur in Gold.

Currently breeding: Bulbasaur, Jynx, Lickitung, Omanyte, Blastoise, and I’ll have to reset blue to get Charmander.

Gen II Highlights: 

I got Dunsparce! If you know anything about me, I love dunsparce... so much. Jon reason, just cool and I think it’s been snubbed for evolution BUT ANYWAY, it’s a party member.

Not a lot more to mention, but I got male/female Girafarig and what’s very nice is Gen II actually has Gender mechanics, so I don’t have to play that portion blindly any longer! Nice.

Hopefully the Gen II gender mechanics will help the process along, that’s honestly been a huge obstruction, not knowing how many one species I’d need to catch. Thankfully most of them had 50/50 ratios, so it wasn’t too too bad. I look forward to continuing this! I wanted to delay today’s post because I’m almost 100% sure I can wrap up Blue today and focus on Gen II, but alas, that wouldn’t be true to the timeline, so I will persist!

Welp 30th time was the charm, not for shiny Ho-Oh; but for the 100%!! I’ve caught my last 17 Ho-Oh straight without missing one, and I was convinced I was gonna lose this one, but I caught him! My 3rd 100% legendary, and I caught the other 2 Ho-Oh and Latias I raided today, 2nd shiny Aron, 98% Omanyte and 90% Murkrow!

But sitll need that shiny Ho-Oh for the love of goodness!!!

tips for water event 2018

spin 3 “win a raid: rare candy x1″ quest before you go for a raid & get 3 extra rare candies after!

easier to have excellent throws: slowpoke, wailmer, golduck(quest & wild encounter), so may challenge absol (1 excellent curve, may have shiny) or even larvitar (3 excellent curves in a roll) quest!

hatch eggs reward 2x candies/2x stardust; all 2k eggs in this event with surprise: magikarp’s back; 5-10km rare pokemon inside (eg lotads, lapras & feebas - they become more common in wild too)

grinding stardust with water pokemon (3x stardust now)& starpiece. fully evolved water pokemons are more common & they give much more stardust

besides kyogre & shellder, carefully look for magikarp, omanyte, kabuto, wailmer, luvdisc shiny (& their evolve) if you still don’t have. probably another best chance to find a luvdisc shiny ever - they’re super rare 

rather flexible item choice in boxes & very good for passes, super incubators; if you’re interested in lucky eggs then go for great boxes

bruh i was chaining today on pokemon diamond and i caught 6 shiny eevees in the trophy garden and i just opened pokemon go and immediately hatched a shiny omanyte,,, what is going on

Idk how many Kabuto and Omanyte(praise Lord Helix) I caught during Adventure week but other than the shiny Aerodactyl I caught on day 2 Kabuto was my only other shiny caught. Got it within first half hour of event and immediately evolved it into Kabutops.

*THE BIGGEST SIGH*

There were a couple people running late to our raid since they were trying to double with another one and got held up. Someone needed to go right at hatch because she needed to do her daughter’s raid elsewhere that also hatched at the same time. I stayed back juuust in case the late people needed an extra hand.

There were five people in my group.

There were twelve accounts in the lobby, because there were that many subs. 8′D

Went to an absol raid afterwards and caught another shiny omanyte, so I’m happy with that. :D No shiny absol for me, but that’s fine, haha.
