Oh hell yeah, they definitely would get married! In Echoes, the last one-shot I've written for them, they've just moved in together. I think at that point, she and Beau would be thinking about marriage in the future, but maybe they wouldn't talk about it with each other right away. 😂

We know how Beau is about sharing his feelings, and the reader, being burned before on an engagement and the idea of marriage, knows she loves him but would be hesitant to make that leap...

Until Beau talks to Emily about it. His daughter is more and more becoming his sounding board, since she was so supportive of their relationship from the beginning. Emily would encourage him to get remarried if that makes him happy.

Emily: You're already living together. Doesn't that mean you want to be with her for the long haul?

Beau: Well...yeah. That's just about what it means.

Emily: Then what's the problem?

He can't exactly argue with that logic. 😂 I think he'd be so excited to propose, that he wouldn't even think about the "more kids" conversation until after they're engaged. The reader would think about it first, I think, wondering if he would ever want more kids someday. And if so, is that something she wants too?

Once they actually got around to sitting down and having that honest conversation, I think both of them would be open to it in a "if it happens, it happens" sort of way. Beau would have concerns about being an "older dad," 😂 but in comforting him and reassuring him that he'd do great, because he's already a great dad...it would make the reader realize that she does want kids, and she wants them with Beau. ❤️

I think if he clocked the "asshole" in Lila's new boyfriend, Ben would call him out immediately. He would try to ban her from seeing him. And when that didn't work, he would 100% threaten the guy off without her knowing.

Ben would have to try to (badly) explain to her why he doesn't trust the guy, and why he's a skeevy little bastard.

Not to lore dump but there's a topic rn that I really want to express my relation to without being annoying in someone's inbox

Ok so first off hi G if you clicked this yeah that anon was me my dad was adopted

His adoptive parents had fertility issues and were trying to adopt for a long time, and were suddenly offered an unofficial infant adoption that they accepted. It was the 70s, that was my dad. Then the official adoption process actually worked for them anyway and they also got my aunt.

So they adopted 2 small children at basically the same time. But their marriage didn't work out. So they got divorced. Then they both married different people. Their adoptive dad had 2 more kids with their step mom.

There were definitely issues from that situation, particularly that from the step mom's perspective not only were the 2 adopted kids not hers, but they weren't really her husband's kids either. It's worked out now, but I've heard about how it was as kids in that situation. It still affects how they view each other as siblings to this day.

I have 2 cousins in the foster system. Or I did at some point. My mom doesn't talk to her sister. I havent seen her kids since at least 2012. They were taken for child endangerment, drug abuse, etc. I don't know where they are, I don't know where their mom is, I don't know who their dad is. If I met them in passing I wouldn't recognize them. They've been completely disconnected from my life in every way.

Both of my parents were children of divorce. In my mom's case, her parents divorced when was 18. But she was the oldest of 4.

I think that shared experience is what kept my parents together through everything. Fear of repeating the cycle. Fear of pushing their children towards the same fate.

first thing's first: everyone in this ad should be between the ages of 22 and 27 with the exception of persephone who should be 22 - 24 and demeter who should be 25 - 27. genderbending is okay with me as long as you run it by me first because i don't want to have a million girls, i want it to be fairly balanced. everything said below should be taken with a grain of salt meaning if you put your own spin on it that is totally fine, the inspo is what matters.

now, for the actual ad, basically these guys are something of a found family. through their jobs, parties, socializing, exes, currents, whatever they all met and it was almost instant, that connection, that 'feels like i've known you my whole life' thing that came over them. and so they stuck together, even if it was just a group text or once a year dinner party, they've all stayed in touch ever since despite distance, work, time constraints, and anything else that came between them.

the first pair that met and really started it all were aphrodite and ares. they were on again off again, always a problem with time and where their lives were at, but the love is there. they've been friends since their time in school together and it never let up, that care. the rest of the group swear one day aphrodite will find a way to settle down and be with ares but for now ares deals with the on again off again because sometimes is better than never. and then aphrodite found god here, and another one, and their interconnections grew the group and now here they are, family without being blood, with ties running through them, cutting and caressing them all the same.
