☘️ - Do you enjoy mostly incorporating canon or fanon details in your work?

YES. Moreso canon than fanon, but I love taking canon and twisting it. My Modern Red Joel fic? so so so heavily inspired by last life and third life. I'm currently writing a Scar fairytale rapunzel au that started out as a last life-to-third life pipeline of their relationship. Obviously throughout the fics the details get morphed enough that it's p far from a straight up retelling, but I'm basically always thinking about what fun ways canon can be twisted

🔔 - What compliment meant the most to you regarding your writing? (offline or online)

there are two compliments that are fighting for that crown and they were both given to me from the same person (@galaxy-minecart ilu). They hadn't read any Terry Pratchett before but have read. so much. of my writing, and the first time they read some of Sir Terry's work they said it was familiar because of mine. i dont know what im supposed to do with that knowledge tbh i think i died on the spot. im still dead. especially because they also told me they want to make fanart for stuff ive written. I've never had someone say that before and it blew my corpsely socks off. still does because THEY KEEP SAYING IT. Terry Pratchett is absolutely my writing idol and i cannot explain how meaningful that someone felt inspired by something i wrote, so. yknow. impossible to choose which means the most
