#Doodles #SCII #Honestly mostly speculating around VUX baby clothes #And casual clothes generally but especially comfy clothes!#I could've sworn I saw a set at one point of baby ZEX but I haven't been able to find it again ah #Reverse-engineering design from the military uniforms - I mean it's only assumed that they have tunics as only their upper bodies are shown #But definitely nothing that would impede their arm mobility! I imagine a lot of loose and flowy clothing generally ♪#Babies all tend to be in something soft and loose to allow them to move without catching ♫ Little infant gowns ah <3 #Would a VUX baby enjoy being swaddled? I think so - like the full-body pressure of water!#I do wonder about VUX culture insofar as gendered clothing as well - jewelry is across the board so that seems more like a class thing #Lots of little ones here with tiny tendril or tail accessories hehe <3 #On their stubby little tendrils! I already draw tails on even adults as being rather short but look at the tiny head tendrils ahhh <3 <3 #I do enjoy the little headcanon of tendril length being an age signifier - or of having them ripped off frequently pft #But for babies and children they're have short tendrils they wave around all jerkily and inelegant #Like how human babies practice gross and fine motor skills hehe <3 Cute!!#Until eventually you get smooth tendril expressions - longer tendrils requiring the extra care in movement to express properly ah #The mark of adulthood and all that hehe ♪ It's cute! if you draw enough monster ocs, when you go back to drawing a human character, it feels like "sameface syndrome" everytime, by virtue of their face being. human.

I want Alasdair to be short enough that he has a bunch of short boyfriends that #feel tall around him? bytte was going to be like 6ft max but then i thought about making her taller and like. what if i made her taller #headloose is not that /short/ but he is Not Tall and prolly pretty lean? twink build for sure #and of course all these short /tall distinctions come with a bias of relativity to my own height which i categorize as medium height #but short ppl call me tall and insist its not average and tall ppl call me short. (5'6) and then i have to factor in how the gender changes #the dynamic of a height like my height is Short For A Man but medium to tall for a Woman. which id argue is medium height bc mens heights #are socially held to high standards (hehe) and also i know ethnicity/race is also a factor? but im out of tags. rip. bye

#much is brewing.. also recently got a pay raise so that's pretty nice #my old manager got to see me have a rough time starting out and is now seeing the staff say that they really want me to work #with them and they'd love to see me in a leadership position bc they said they can see it in me #and when they said all that i actually felt like i could believe it! they said good things and i was actually taking it in #anyways pray for me bc i wanna get certified to give vaccines and we're gonna be approaching the holiday season #when all my certifications are complete l m a o; you're supposed to get over the whole poking ppl with needles thing pretty quickly #iirc i have to practice by injecting saline into a pharmacist or smthn so there's that too #the pay raises from all this will be great bc lemme tell you. gabriel cosplay process is not gonna come cheap 😭#i still have to plan out how I'm doing this 😭 planning to make the spear as well; the swords are cooler and more important #but this outfit is gonna be a lot of firsts and the swords might just be a little too much next to the full body armour djfjkf #I'm gonna leave the helmet alone for a while and I'll probably regret it but I'm not strong enough to deal with that yet lmao #though. i could do the helmet and then take silly full body pics in cute outfits with it bc that's funny #i need at least one pic in full armour while holding the body pillow. debating bringing the pillow to the con I'm doing this for #bc that would also be really funny; would be kind of a pain to carry around with me but hear me out: it would be really funny #i have digressed wildly from the point of this post #shai speaks

It stg every time I see an anti-CGI-in-movies post I have to physically put my phone down to restrain myself from replying with a ten page diatribe about why that's a stupid stance everyone applaud my self control

#it makes me SO ANGRY #they're always written by ppl who have ZERO knowledge of how vfx in film actually works #and then there 700 replies that are nonsense or misinformat #but the trex in Jurassic park- THE FULL BODY SHOTS WERE CGI STFU #but Guillermo del Toro- WE REDID ALL HIS CREATURES OVER THE PROSTHETICS STFU #but vecna/jarnathan/the predator- THE WERE ALL RETOUCHED YOURE NOT SEEING PURE PRACTICAL EFFECTS #AUGH #as if vfx artists don't have it rough already #you get punched by your studio punched by the director #and then if your shit is good enough people will say Look! Look how good these practical effects were!#it makes me want to scream #you spend your days making things so that people can ignore it if it's good and hate you if it's bad #I'm begging people think for a SECOND before you just slam and entire art form and professional field ffs #okay I'm done #I have so much to say about this I could go on forever
