me: anyway it's really cool that hawk and dove are being included in the movie adaptation of crisis on infinite earths since that crisis is when Don Hall died and Dawn Granger became the new Dove. It's pretty easy to notice in some of the screen shots that while Hank and Dawn are standing near eachother they are not doing anything with one another, Hank in particular is facing away from Dawn with his arms crossed. It's quite possible in the animated movie this is happening extremly close to Donny (or Don Hall) death and may be the first time these two have met. Even though I know they won't be main characters, and may even not have speaking roles I think its going to be really cool to see how they interact.

(exploding) sorry if this is badly written i am walking rn . Mods know the series but A3 is about stage actors.

TasuTsumu are literally the friends to lovers ever. They're childhood friends, even. They did everything together. They've acted together since elementary school. but then (VINE BOOM) they both try out for a prestigious acting troupe called GODza... but only Tasuku makes it in (sad horn sounds) Tsumugi lost a ton of confidence after not making it and kinda ghosted Tasuku and ran away from his problems </3 he originally had given up, but missed the stage so he tried out again at the Mankai Company (troupe all of the characters are in). Of course, as fate has it, Tasuku had just left GODza after their... unsavory business tactics, but the troupe had blacklisted him from becoming an actor at any other high end troupes in the area, leaving him to go to the Mankai Company. And of course times 2, he and Tsumugi try out for the same troupe. Tasuku is less than pleased with seeing Tsumugi's face after he just disappeared before, and things between them are tense, especially when Tasuku gets fed up with Tsumugi's lack of confidence after he becomes the troupe's leader. But!! Fate wants them to get along (and be together) and Tsumugi finds this cursed doll that traps them in a time loop of the same day. They're stuck until they resolve their issues. Nothing like a good ol divine intervention to get two friends to lovers back together. tldr Tsumugi owns up to his insecurities to Tasuku and works to overcome it. In the process, while performing their play in an act off (if they end up in the competition i'll actually essay about it) Tsumugi feels that his acting is inferior once again and totally bombs a show. Tasuku finally works around his own regrets of not reaching out before when Tsumugi had "quit," telling him how much he loves and envies Tsumugi's acting, and apologizes to Tsumugi. Then boom they pull off an incredibly gay play about angels and become lovers (not canon but Trust me).

absolute best friends in childhood who had a very impactful falling out, but managed to resolve things. nowadays they're in a theatre troupe together where their troupe is quite literally married.

2. Their introductory arc was literally a whole divorce-reunion arc. They divorced because Tsumugi failed an audition into the God Squad theatre troupe while Tasuku got in which was a blow to Tsumugi's confidence as an actor and he ran away and Tasuku was mad at him for that. It was literally so bad that the game had to break its slice-of-life genre to introduce a doll that traps people in a timeloop until they're able to make up, and they (and another guy who's kinda a cryptid) are the only ones aware that the day keeps repeating

3. After one of their shows, Tsumugi overhears some audience members criticising him and comparing him to Tasuku, which leads to him changing his acting style in the next show which completes bombs their show. Out of shame, Tsumugi runs away, and it takes Tasuku some hesitating before chasing after him and finally telling him how he REALLY feels -- that he was guilty for not being able to do anything to help Tsumugi when he failed that audition years ago and ran away, and that he admires Tsumugi's acting for what it is. The anime makes this scene even gayer by having them meet on a bridge in the snow and Tasuku holding an umbrella over Tsumugi's head as he pours his heart out to Tsumugi

4. Tsumugi regains his confidence after hearing that, and they finally FINALLY 100% reconcile

Zenyuki:

they start out strangers who despite their different statuses become friends, who then gradually develop feelings for each other as they continue to get to know each other better! despite being a prince, zen treats shirayuki like an equal, helping her out with her herbalist qualifying exams even staying up late in the greenhouse and getting his hands literally dirty with soil all to help her. shirayuki also treats zen like a friend and doesn't kowtow or walk on eggshells around him just bc he's a prince. they have so much mutual admiration and respect for each other, and they inspire each other to grow and chase their goals! i also really like that the story goes out of their way to show that they have lives outside of each other, that they both have separate goals, responsibilities, and duties but they come together to support each other in working towards them! also that neck kiss scene mmm i think about that a lot

Being forced to interrogate an in-between space, Murderbot's "dont look at me" in combination with vulnerability, the desire to cut and run and figure yourself out and then, like. not actually figuring yourself out much. did the running help? did escaping do anything? or should you have stayed?

Stede Bonnet (Our Flag Means Death) - Cringefail fuck-up pirate my beloved, i hate watching him do things it's like looking in a mirror. Theater kid playing dress up, steeped in self-doubt and trying to get everyone to talk about their feelings. In season one he looks at his own life and says "is anyone going to ruin this?" and doesn't wait for an answer. I want to kiss him in the moonlight. Every time I think about him I want to throw up. <3

Keyleth (Critical Role) - The weight of the world on her shoulders because she's been raised to lead her people, and all that simmering rage she tries to keep under wraps, and then she only gets a tiny bit of time with the person she loves before she has to live for years and years and years and watch everyone she cares about leave her. Archdruids with timeless body are an existential nightmare.

Alex Louis Armstrong (Fullmetal Alchemist) - okay listen. when i rewatched fmab in college, I was fully ready to fall in love with Riza. I was very surprised when I realized that it was not the badass with the gun I was fixated on, but the. big muscle-y guy who cries a lot and gets used for comic relief 60% of the time. but. im here. i love him. the ishval flashbacks got to me.

Blue (This is How You Lose the Time War) - Loving someone enough you're willing to let them close enough to kill you. The inherent rot beneath blooming things. Taking the slow path. Not leaving well enough alone. Love, but with teeth. I'm so normal about her (lying)

Cora Sabino (Noumena Series) - I wish I could tell everyone to read Axiom's End because I loved it, but I cant because the sequel fucked me up so bad. Its good! but god the atmosphere is so oppressive and Cora's struggle with depression is extremely real for an alternate history story that asks the question "what if we found out aliens were real during the bush administration?" I was legitimately unwell.

Obi-Wan Kenobi (Star Wars) - I just think he's the funniest guy with a laser sword. so repressed. had one of the most grey-jedi masters to ever do the damn thing. bitchy. the chosen one is his padawan. honestly he had to know anakin was sneaking out to canoodle with padme and just decided it wasn't his problem. calls himself fucking ben on the hell sand planet. why was he like that.

Spock (Star Trek) - this is the most "i just think he's neat" of all of them. i inherited this blorbo. this blorbo was handed down to me from my mom. he was hers first, im just picking up the torch. so like, dororos family is super rich. thats literally why he n keroro became friends in the first place, bc they went to the same Military Prep Elementary School and one time keroro went to dororos house and saw that his family was LOADED and that he had all the COOL toys so he immediately went WERE FRIENDS RIGHT? so he could hang out w dororo to play w the cool toys. and dororo had had very few friends in his life before that so he went Yeah of course! and then spent his entire childhood doing pretty much whatever keroro asked so they would stay friends. but anyway, i don’t think his family being rich counts for anything at present, since he’s on earth, and i dont know if he like… has. any money. that is viable on earth. he must get some money somehow since he & koyuki like, have a house and are alive? but she doesn’t seem to have like, a job or anything, and i doubt he steals from the invasion budget so like. i dont know where the money comes from and there can’t be very much of it.

I know dororo canonically knows how to use a computer bc i just rewatched the episode where the platoon tries to make their own anime today and he uses a computer to do the coloring digitally but like. Dororo does not know how to use a computer. He first learned about stuff on earth from koyuki who spent half her life in a completely isolated village and only got out after she met him and he hasn’t branched out much since. I don’t know if we ever see him play video games or anything like that. I don’t think he would know how to do that. Anyhow point is i want to see the keroro platoon play minecraft. Dororo keeps trying to build peaceful little houses with nice farms and they keep getting accidentally blown up or burnt down by everyone else. Tamama is in the caves trying to befriend slimes and when he finds out he can’t he just starts killing them en mass. Everyone goes to check out what Kururu is doing and he’s made one of those fully functional redstone computers, for fun.

ALSO ID ALWAYS CALLED DORORO KOYUKIS DAD BUT I NEVER REALLY REALIZED WOW HE LEGIT DOES ACT LIKE IT HUH. hi welcome home how do you like your new school :) its so sweet… i bet he has like 3 backup plans for attempting to homeschool her if anything happens that keeps her from going to public school. i bet they make lunches together. god, this is sweet, but also really funny to imagine, because he is less than 2 feet tall, and round. i watched an episode today that starts w koyuki coming home and dororo is just on the ground loudly sobbing and shes like oh did you fight with your friends again? and then thinking about friends makes her flashback to her childhood best friend & when she met dororo So Hard that she just falls asleep. while hes still there on the floor loudly crying about how he wonders if keroro even considers him a friend. theyre so funny

5. Describe their cozy night in.

For these two its being able to just shut the world out and hold one another. Let there be a nice hot bath, some sweets, a little wine, and take away all and I do mean all of their weapons and armor, put them in sleeping clothes and then shut the door. Rare is it for these two to just cuddle with no where else to be, yes this is partially their own fault no they will not be taking critism on it. Honestly you probably should force it on them, just have the world be at peace and get them in a cabin stuck in a blizzard. For those times that you can’t though just refrain from calling upon them for the night and it’ll be close enough.

10. Describe their first date.

Truth be told there was never an official first date. They also can’t agree on what pick as the official one to tell people. Sib will tell you sometimes that it was their first assignment together wherein she and Thancred were on a stakeout and they had a little bit of a heart to heart. For her it was really the moment that things started to change between them and she caught the feelings, though she’ll never admit it, Thancred will though if you ask him. Thancred will tell you it was when they were on the first and it was the first time all of Norvrandt had a night sky so they were able to enjoy a sunset while sitting up high away from everyone. They reminisced on adventures past, opened up a bit more about their feelings during their separation time, talked about what it would look like finally going back home, and it was just nice. He even gave her a flower that was only found on The First and she tried to save it but it didn’t dry out properly, but it’s scent is one she won’t forget. People say it’s a bit bleak because there was still the issue of Sib carrying too much light and her body not being able to handle it so there was a high possibility she’d turn into the monster she believed to be back home, but maybe that’s what makes it all the nicer of a moment.

13. Who’s the bigger tease?

This is pretty 50/50 but it can be confused at times that Sib is the bigger tease for the sole reason that she’s not 100% at keeping focused like Thancred (smashcut to Sib trying to get laid while Thancred is invisable whispering very important mission things while in Garlemald). However once things are calm.....he’s gonna make up for lost time and its gonna be everyone else’s problem.

16. Can they stay up all night just talking?

They can and they do a lot once they’ve gotten parent trapped. Its just about being with the other and being open finally. The nights before when they were still broken up where they stayed up talking were times when the other needed some kind of comfort so it wasn’t filled with the same laughter that one would hear in the future, but they would lay or sit there and just talk.

Been doing a bit more musing on Rigel herself as a character and then the au where she has a relationship with Morgott over Ranni bc Morgott is currently my little meow meow blorbo of choice (tho I still love Ranni and I am v gay for her)

I imagine Rigel is like a woman-ish in that she's typically viewed as a woman but is fine being referred to however. He/she/they/it whatever she doesn't give a shit.

Plus she doesn't have any tits, got 'em burned off by Agheel since she still wore like the blue cloth armor set when she fought him so like yeah they're gone its all just burn scars there though she doesn't miss 'em (probably not actually how it would work but oh well)

I also think that she would be really gross mainly in the fact that she constantly smells like blood/rust/leather/sweat/whatever since there are few and far opportunities to bathe in the Lands Between tho it doesn't really bother her and she readily takes any opportunity to get drenched in blood (blood build for the win)

She also is not against biting or fighting dirty in general. If she starts something she's gonna win by any cost goddamnit

Tho surprisingly enough despite her inclination towards immediately using violence as a solution to any given problem she's actually quite witty and intelligent

Seeing as how she's a Dragon Communion user I also like to think that over time there are more changes to her physicality that she would experience especially as she learns more of the incantations.

So like it starts with the eyes, then she gets slightly sharper teeth and claws, and maybe she is then able to make like deep, rumbling growling noises. Maybe it can affect her more dramatically because she's of Draconian descent.

Speaking of her being Draconian, I imagine that the Tarnished player was revived from being dead at the beginning of the game which could somewhat explain how weak they are since they're kinda trying to re-learn how to be alive at that point.

In Rigel's case she's of warrior descent, so I imagine that she was born in a warrior tribe that splintered off from the initial banishment of the Tarnished from the Lands Between, but is from a couple generations after rather than having ever actually lived in the Lands Between before. Her tribe more of focused on living in the present, something something don't be stagnant, don't look too much to the pass, just keep moving forward or whatever, so she wasn't taught much about the lands her people came from which is why she doesn't know shit when she gets called back. But initially, yeah, she was from a Draconian warrior tribe and died relatively young as most Draconions do a la the description in the character creation menu.

I dunno if I'll decide how she died, but yeah she had been dead for a couple hundred years before being revived and called back to the Lands Between. So like girl is REELING being suddenly alive again and summoned to a land where everyone wants her dead. She has a rough start to say the least.

Which leads to her meeting Margit at Stormveil since he was the first major boss I defeated on my first playthrough with Rigel, which sparks a very heated rivalry in the two considering how badly he kicker her ass

Like they fucking HATE each other so much and want to beat the absolute fuck out of the other

But then as Rigel kinda travels through the Lands Between and learns about how Omens are treated and comes across some Omen Killers and the like she's like 'Oh this is FUCKED'

Though it isn't until she's fighting Morgott in Leyndell that she realizes that he doesn't deserve to die and that she didn't want to kill him

Such mercy only earns her a sword through the chest

Que shenanigains wherin she tries to gain Morgott's favor through various means like gifts of flowers and fruit which usually just gets her tossed off the balcony or something

It isn't really until she brings him the body of the Omen Killer that skulks about Leyndell (whole time she was lugging it up the stairs to the Elden Throne she was thinking to herself 'motherfucker better appreciate this because why is this guy so heavy') that she somewhat makes some progress in his hard exterior, although he isn't immediately amicable to her

Mainly her goal at this point is getting him to the point where he'll let her pass to the Erdtree which takes some time and effort on her part, as well as making sure that he doesn't think she merely pities him

It takes work to get them to even be able to speak to one another without immediately throwing hands, and even more work for her to be like 'How long is the madness going to go on Morgott' in reference to the decrepit state of the Lands Between in the aftermath of the Shattering

Cue a very angsty and slowburn attraction and romance since when he's no longer trying to kill her Rigel is like 'shit he's kinda hot actually' but she would never tell him that to his face at this point

I'm still undecided if they have started anything before Rigel goes to burn the Erdtree... maybe? There's some good potential for angst with Rigel setting fire to the very thing Morgott had devoted himself to protecting despite how necessary it may have been which even Morgott can eventually admit to considering his dialogue that you get when you do kill him ingame

But yeah the beginning of their relationship is mostly a begruding agreement to not kill the other despite how much they may think about it and still want to beat the shit out of one another, to a sort of angsty mutual attraction that they don't want to admit to, to longing and more angst before they start any sort of romantic relationship

The finer points are still nebulous to me at this point but anyways

Then once they are in a more comfortable relationship with one another, probably once Rigel has established herself as Elden Lord, they settle into a more gentle and relaxed sort of thing with one another

Rigel also finds that Morgott is the King of Cling in that while they don't really do pda they're always touching in some regard whether that be linking pinkies, his tail brushing against her legs, or just being right there next to each other. Then when they're in private it's all over. Rigel likes it tho bc of how fluffy and warm Morgott is (girl does NOT like being cold and Morgott is basically a personal heater for her lmao).

They both love each other very much but also they like being petty and snarky with each other bc they have too much attitude for their own goods

I also think it would be funny if they were like that thing that was like 'my girlfriend and I saw you from across the bar and we hate your vibe so we're gonna beat the shit out of you' because both of them still kind of instinctually default to violence to solve any given problem or just because (thought they do try to rein themselves in at this point since they're supposed to be responsible leaders now considering the fact that the Lands Between are no longer a war-ravaged wasteland)
