anyone wanna tell me about their experiences with antidepressants

I'm gonna have to figure out what to do soon, I went off mine recently bc my depression was very bad when I was on them. but going off them landed me in a suicide attempt. Ive been on various different meds for nearly 9 years now and have found them all to be a little bit helpful until they're not. I'm trying to decide whether I should just try raw dogging it for a while (I'm in intensive therapy so not untreated at all) or if I should keep trying :/

#anti depressants includes mood stabilizers to me #i am on ritalin still bc i love her #ed mumbles #many psychiatrists have wanted me to go on venlafaxine/effexor/pristique #sorry i think i spelled that last one wrong idk #i havent tried it cause it has a short half life and bad withdrawal and im not reliable when it #comes to taking meds at rhe same time every day #im considering maybe prozac which has a long halflife #or just going back on the one i went off #it didnt do much but it mightve been slightly better than this idk i cant tell #anyway probably no one will see this #just if anyone feels like telling me their experience #good or bad #w any kind of psychiatric meds #lmk
