You know, even asuming Transformers can see our Blaschko's Lines, natural human coloring would look fairly drab since we're all various shades and hues of brown depending on our concentration of melanin. Plus with our small size and very weak electromagnetic feilds we'd be hard to read for enotional context. Given how importan facial expressions are for communication it would make Autobot human interactions hard for the bigger bots.
Picture in the mid 80's some very matcho military types being very confused when Optimus gravely thanks them for the consideration of their biological differences in their choice of designated liason. There's head scratching untill they realize one of their secrataries in 1980's makeup look delivered a document. Looks like either someone's about to get a feild promotion rather than explain the misunderstanding or have a bunch of dudes wear make-up.
Honestly I like the promotion idea because that's such a Reader fic scenario (positive) (I need this au now)💖💖💖💖💖
The 1970s and 1980s saw a surge in public campaigns targeted at women in urban areas, warning of the dangers of appearing in public spaces alone. The New York City rape squad declared that “single women should avoid being alone in any part of the city, at any time.” In The Rational Woman’s Guide to Self-Defense (1975), women were told, “a little paranoia is really good for every woman.”
At the same time that the state was asserting itself as the protector of (white) women, the U.S. saw the massive expansion of prisons and the criminalization of blackness. It could be argued that the state and the media opportunistically seized on the energy of the feminist movement and appropriated feminist rhetoric to establish the racialized penal state while simultaneously controlling the movement of women (by promoting the idea that public space was inherently threatening to women).[...]However[…]Kristin Bumiller argues that the feminist movement was actually “a partner in the unforeseen growth of a criminalized society.” By insisting on “aggressive sex crime prosecution and activism,” feminists assisted in the creation of a tough-on-crime model of policing and punishment.
seeing fanart of the og eggs a lot taller/older while the dead eggs remain looking like toddlers makes me sooo insane Oh My God. Like theyre never going to grow up. Sure in the sweet little world of denial I live in you can pretend that all the eggs including the dead ones are going to be Fine by the end and all of them are going to get a happy ending but. They're not. They're dead and they barely got to live. They're dead and their lives were taken too early. Much too early for any child to die. Its such a jarring reminder that theyre Dead Dead Dead and they are never coming back and they were children, they were toddlers, and it will stay that way.
The start of the Loop segment of the Siffrin & friends twitter QNA, and the message that flipped Loop's answers from silly to dodgy and blatantly upset.
im learning i have an intense fondness for historical gays. modern gays are good, but theres just Something about historical queers that hit my brain. bonus points if they're from the 17th-19th century.
i'm desperate to know how many notebooks you have filled with these drawings. i must know, please, i'm on my hands and knees
Most of my comics are drawn on standard letter paper (8.5"x11"), and to date I have filled 23 pages! I usually manage to fit roughly 6-8 comics per page.
hi uncle nina! it's my birthday today and u don't have but will u pretty plz consider reposting that part of ch6 of rm where raven in on the phone with kenny b4 his hate with jers? i thought it was super cute and i really wanted to read it :3
awwww, happy birthday, darling! i hope it's as lovely as you are!
and i--sigh.
okay.
i hate complicated feelings surrounding chapter six ( aka the introduction to the iconique ravesey hate that i deleted from stress ) because i actually did love it...i just rushed the hell out of it, didn't plan it out very well and it was a mess. it could have been a lot better.
part of why i deleted it was actually because of that ravenstan/kenny phonecall because i felt worried that i revealed too much about how not cool and actually boy-failure-y stan was too early and could have kept the suspense going longer but aaaaaa i just wanted y'all to see how CUTE he was, like??? and how nervous! AAAA!!!
buuut considering the cat has been out of the bag, or rather, the raven has flown the nest for some time now...and it's the beauteous day you were born...i will humbly present you with this b-day present in the form of my incompetent idiot girl ramblings/writings, though, i fear it is not at all as grand the gift of your life is.
so, without further ado darlings, here is the endearing, embarrassing phone call ( it was over discord actually ) that ravenstan had with kenny prior to showing up to blondie's for his little hate-date with jerseykyle. it's a mess and unedited, but regardless, please know that from whatever hurts or harms you, i hope you heal, please rem(ember) to smile, pendejos,
You do realize this is like asking me to choose my favourite hand, right? Or my favourite leg? It's like choosing my favourite eye, my favourite strand of hair, my favourite organ, my favourite --
ummm uh this one is really hard fuck. i like the arc of a scythe series a lot, ive read it maybe 10 times? ummm i read this book a bit ago called thirty talks weird love, that one was really good, it described the feelings of being a tween who doesnt fit in anywhere really well. if we're going poetry collections its probably either a fortune for your disaster by hanif abdurraqib or soft science by franny choi. or the spirit bares its teeth by andrew j white <- that ones not poetry i just remembered it
15. Do you remember your last dream?
