So the final character turns out to be based on Ryugen, but it feels kinda weird how there is also one based on Zangetsu and they aren't brothers
Or what if plot reveals they are brothers and he was actually adopted or stollen
I CAN'T BELIEVE HE'S ACTUALLY RYUUGEN?! I made a joke about it when Toten got revealed but I didn't actually expect... (I'm counting it as a win though, which means I guessed three out of sixteen! ...given how wacky some of these got, I'm actually pretty proud of that.)
he seems very sweet though! I hope he and his secret hamsters are very happy together. 🐹

THIS WAS MY EXACT TRAIN OF THOUGHT TOO! either this is an incredible bit of meta foreshadowing, or an incredible bit of Takahashi trolling, and I -- I honestly don't know which is more likely)

A/N: Sadly this is the last chapter of Never out of practice, but I highly doubt this’ll come as a surprise: I’m writing something else for them, because these two are the cutest ever.
Also, I hope the people who are on my taglist are now tagged correctly - turns out something went wrong. I’m sorry xx

Christmas has always been one of my favorite holidays, but this year it’s extra special. Last year it was just John, Tiki and me, since there was a huge blizzard and couldn’t get out. Now I’m here with the most important people of my life: my mom, dad, Jennie and Raye. Oreo and Tiki are asleep literally underneath the decorated tree.
I place my head against John’s shoulder as we watch Raye unpack her final gift. ‘No way, you guys,’ she says, as she unpacks the Prada shoes she has been eyeing for so long now. Every time we walked passed the store and she saw them, she’d tell us how much she loved those shoes. ‘I can’t believe you bought those for me.’
‘Well, if I had to hear one more time that you wanted them, but couldn’t afford them, I had to hit you, so yeah,’ I say, ‘it’s for my own sanity really.’
Raye sticks out her tongue. ‘You guys are the best. Thank you so much. I think I might wear those to my next date.’
‘And if you get dumped, at least you’re wearing cute shoes,’ Jennie says, something that earns her a painful pinch in her arm.
Since Jennie lost her parents not too long ago, she has been depending on mine for certain things and spending Christmas with my parents is one of those things. Sometimes she calls my mom, when she needs some female advice. It has become such a new normal in our life. She can’t really count on Raye’s parents, since Raye can’t even count on them.
Apparently, her brothers fiancé turned out to be a bitch and the wedding is off. Raye was kind of delighted, to see Alex so heartbroken and to be fair, I hated the fact that I couldn’t be there to witness it myself.
‘It’s such a shame that there are no more gifts left,’ Raye mentions.
‘You just got Prada shoes,’ Jennie says. ‘How ungrateful are you?’
‘Well,’ John says, before they can start to have a discussion, ‘there is one more gift left.’
‘Really?’ my mom asks. ‘It’s for me, isn’t it? Since I’m the best mother in law a guy could possibly ask for.’
He snorts. ‘No, I’m sorry, Somi. This gift is for my lovely Darcie,’ John says, looking over to me with a smile on his face. He is long overdue for a haircut, but now that his hair is basically shoulder length… God, I’ve been having certain dreams about it. Things that I shouldn’t be thinking about when there are other people around.
‘Oh, what did you get me?’ I ask him, turning a bit to the side, so I can have a better look at him.
‘Well,’—he clears his throat and holds onto my hand—‘Darcie, I can’t believe that we’ve been together for almost a year and a half. It seems longer and not in a time never passes with you, because you are so boring-way, but more in a I feel like I’ve known you forever-way.’
I chuckle, squeezing his hand, when I see that he needs a little bit more encouragement to continue.
‘Every day when I wake up, I prize myself so insanely lucky that you are my girlfriend. The way you run your cafe with so much passion and how you make your cafe a safe haven. The way I somehow persuade you to love me and get another dog. The way we are slowly talking more about our future, without freaking out. How you took care of me when I had injured my leg. Everything you do and say, makes me love you even more.’ He brings my hand to his lips, to press a soft and tender kiss on my knuckles. ‘When that idiot took you, I thought that was it. I thought that I had lost you, like I lost everything before. We were supposed to have a future together and thinking about how that might be taken away from me…’ John sighs.
It surprises me that he is so open, especially with everyone around us. I feel the tears burning in my eyes and I clear my throat to prevent myself from crying. My fingers run through his raven locks.
‘Darcie,’ he continues, ‘I really love you so insanely much and I can’t think of anyone I’d rather spend my life with than you. I love having you as my girlfriend, but I think it needs an upgrade.’
For some reason Raye squeals and I glance at her, unsure of what is happening. When I look back at John, I see he has a red velvety looking box in his hand and he is sitting down on one knee. My eyes widen, while I bring my hands to my mouth. ‘What are you doing?’ I ask him.
‘My sweet Darcie, will you marry me?’ He opens up the the velvet box, only to reveal such a beautiful ring.
Tears drip down my cheeks, as a sob leaves my lips. He is genuinely proposing to me? ‘Why do you want to marry me?’ I ask in disbelieve.
John frowns, before he lets out a nervous laugh. ‘Didn’t you hear my speech, baby?’
‘I did, but… But what if I suck at being a fiancée or a wife? I thought I was getting the girlfriend part finally under control. John, you are such an amazing man and I… I feel like I—’
‘No, baby,’ he interrupts me, placing a hand on my cheek, ‘you’ll do just fine. I promise.’
‘Oh my God, Darcie, don’t leave the man hanging,’ Raye intervenes and I wonder how long she’s been holding in her excitement.
I look over to John and smile. ‘Yes, John, I want to marry you.’
He lets out a sigh of relief, like he wasn’t expecting me to say yes. He takes out the ring and holds out his hand. I place mine in his and he slides on the ring on my finger.
I stare down at the diamond and a nervous laugh leaves my lips. ‘I’m engaged,’ I whisper.
‘Yes, you are.’ John sits on the floor and pulls me in his arms. His warm lips against mine. I place my hands on the sides of his face, never wanting to let go. I’m going to marry this man. I’m going to be—
‘Holy shit,’ I say, pulling back. ‘I’m going to be Mrs. Wick.’
‘I know!’ Raye shouts, jumping up to launch herself in my arms. I tumble over, starting to laugh as she says: ‘You’re engaged!’
‘I know, isn’t this crazy?’
Jennie pushes Raye off of me, to give me a long hug. ‘I’m so happy for you, Darcie. You deserve this so much.’ She takes a good look at the ring and says: ‘He has taste.’
‘He sure does.’
‘Mister Mustang, you are an engaged man,’ Raye yells, jumping in John’s arms. He chuckles, patting her back as she hangs around him like a koala.
My father is genuinely crying. ‘My munchkin is engaged to such a great man. She is truly growing up.’
‘Dad,’ I laugh, wiping his tears away, but I’m tearing up as well.
After everything that happened, it took him a while, before my father could really look at John the way he did before, but now they’re the best of friends again.
My mom wraps her arms around the both of us. ‘Chris, don’t you agree? Aren’t they your favorite,’—oh dear God, she’s gonna say sail again—‘ship?’
‘Did you just get that right?’ I smile and pull my mom into a hug.
‘Now I finally have the son I always wanted,’ mom jokes, earning her a painful squeeze from me. She pats my hand away, before giving John a hug.
My dad looks at John and say: ‘I wanted to tell you that you should take good care of her, but I know for a fact that you will. You have done so much for her and us already.’ He pulls my boyfr— fiancé in a hug and I smile watching them.
John holds out his hand and when I hold it tightly, he gives me a long kiss on my lips. ‘I have to get used to introducing you as my fiancée,’ John says.
‘Well, I like the upgrade.’
‘Darcie,’ Raye says, holding Tiki in her arms, while scratching Oreo behind his ears. ‘Ask John about how much the ring was.’
‘Don’t,’ John says, glaring dangerously at my friend.
‘I’d rather not know,’ I say in all honesty. ‘I bet it was way too expensive. Something around two thousand dollars.’
Raye barks out a laugh. ‘Oh honey.’
‘Raye, really, don’t say it,’ John says.
‘How do you know the prize?’ I ask here. ‘Were you all in on this?’
‘I helped him pick out the ring, Jennie helped him think about how he should propose and your dad gave John his blessing two months ago and since your dad can’t keep a secret from your mom, he probably told her.’
‘Oh my God,’ I laugh. ‘The fact that the three of you,’—I point to Jennie, mom and dad—‘kept it a secret doesn’t surprise me, but you, Raye… I’m impressed.’
She nods. ‘Oh Darcie, I’m growing.’ She sighs deeply and smiles at us. ‘The ring was a little over ten thousand dollars,’ she blurts out.
‘Raye, I swear—’ John brings his fist to his mouth.
‘Ten thousand fucking dollars?’ I yell, staring at this ring. ‘I have ten grand on my left hand? John, are you insane?’

Steve really doesn’t know what to do.
When he left the gym, he had no idea that he’d come home to a drunk person lounging in the main stairwell leading up to his apartment. He especially didn’t think it’d be such a cute girl that he’d find drunk in his building’s stairwell.
You keep swaying, phone in your hand and pressed against your cheek. You keep muttering, ignoring his questions.
What kind of person let’s their drunk friend leave? Shouldn’t whoever you visited tonight have tried to convince you to stay? Or call someone to pick you up?
He sighs when you hit your head against the wooden railing, and quickly cradles the side of your head to make sure you won’t hit yourself again.
“What's the name of the person you came to visit?” He asks, gentle and uncertain if you’re even listening to him. He doubts you are, what with the way you keep swaying and humming and murmuring.
“Why am I here, anyway?” you whisper, unsure and sad, almost lonely.
Were you visiting a significant other? Did you have a fight and they kicked you out? Anger burns in his stomach. What line of asshole!
You let out a whimper and his anger fades to a sizzle. He frowns, a twinge of sympathy birthing in his chest.
He definitely can’t leave you here! Not when you look so vulnerable! And sad! And hurt! Ugh.
Maybe he can bring you up to his apartment? He’s sure Bucky won’t mind. And besides, you’ll be safer there than you are out here. He and Bucky are still new to the building and have barely gotten to know the people on his floor; so who knows if any sketchy people are living here. There’s also a chance he can get his hands on your phone, maybe he can even call a friend of yours to come pick you up!
Yeah. Yeah, he can—shit! Are you falling asleep? Yes, you are.
With a deep sigh, he gently pries your phone from your grip and stuffs it into his pocket before strapping on his backpack tightly. “Sorry, ma’am. Got no other choice,” he warns your sleepy self before lifting you up into his arms and carrying you up a flight of stairs.
“Bucky,” he hisses, knocking the door with the tip of his shoes. He knows Bucky isn’t asleep right now—he never is—he can see light from the television filtering under the door, and Bucky can’t sleep with the television on. Ever since they were kids, Bucky has needed peace and quiet to fall asleep.
The door opens with a click revealing a disheveled and confused Bucky. “What are you doing?” His eyes drop down to you sleeping peacefully in his arms and drooling all over his white workout shirt. “And who the hell is that?”
With a grunt, he readjusts his hold on you and tells Bucky through gritted teeth to move out of the way. His best friend and roommate complies, and he grunts a thank you. “I don’t know. Found her passing out on the stairwell.”
“And you brought her here?”
“What was I supposed to do? Leave her out there?” He slowly places you down on the long beige sofa, and you quickly roll away from him and snuggle into it.
“Well, no, but what if she tries to murder us in our sleep?”
He rolls his eyes as he drops himself down on the matching loveseat. “I doubt she could harm us, Buck.”
“You’re too trusting,” Bucky mutters, closing the door.
He pulls out your phone and presses the button on the side to turn it on, only to be greeted by a black screen and a red, depleting battery. Steve groans, throwing his head back. “Fuck!”
“What?” Bucky asks, leaning in to see what has him so frustrated.
“I was hoping to call someone she knows, but her phone’s dead.”
“Then charge it.” Before Steve could retort in sarcasm, Bucky surprisingly takes him off guard. “Just let her sleep it off for a few first. You already brought her up here, anyway.”
Steve eyes him gratefully. “You sure?”
He shrugs. “Might as well.”
“Then she can sleep in—“
“Your room. You brought her up here, she’s your responsibility.”
“She’s not a dog, jerk.”
“No, but she’s your stray, thus, your responsibility.”
Tumblr media
Should he go in? Should he not go on? Would it be weird? It would definitely be weird, wouldn’t it? He’s a stranger, you’re a stranger, you wake up in said stranger’s bed, said stranger is in the same room as you—yeah, that’s definitely weird. And creepy. Maybe he should wait until you come out on your own?
“What are you doing?” Bucky whispers into his ear, taking him completely off guard and almost making him drop the glass of water and medicine he’s holding.
“What the fuck, Buck?”
His best friend grins widely and steps back. “You should just go in instead of standing outside like a creep.”
Steve winces. “Do I really look like a creep?”
“If you keep standing like that, yes. Just go in. It’s too early for her to be awake anyway.”
Bucky’s right. People with hangovers usually stay in bed until the afternoon. Bucky has. And it’s Sunday. People like to sleep in on a Sunday, right?”
“Anyway, I’m heading out,” Buck says, picking up his gym bag from the sofa and heads for the door. “I have a class full of tykes ready to learn how to box and I need some caffeine from my favorite shop to keep up with their energy.”
“Are you sure you’re not just going there for the Barista you like so much?” he calls out to Bucky before he can close the door.
Bucky flips him off and closes it with a quiet click.
Steve turns back to the door in front of him and takes a deep breath, hyping himself up to knock on his bedroom door.

It’s rare to be able to meet up with all of your siblings for lunch, what with Wanda’s tight lunch schedule; Pietro being on call all the time; and you and Clint running around the office and sometimes the metropolitan courthouse. Scott is probably the only one out of the four of you with a flexible schedule.
The bistro is small, and not very frequented. A hole in the wall, really. But it makes the best banh mi you’ve ever had and is definitely one of the cutest places to eat you’ve found. Soft music plays from the speakers overhead; sounding like those cafe playlists on Spotify. It's nice and peaceful, especially with all the hanging ferns and cute plants decorating the tables.
“I’m serious, you guys, I think we should give them a chance to explain.” Since the moment you all arrived at the bistro, Wanda has been trying to get you to agree to talk to your parents—no, she’s been trying to get you to agree since last night. It’s a little suspicious if you think about it.
However, there’s no denying that her persistence is starting to wear you down. And she has made some fair points. The boys seem the disagree.
Pietro, just like last night when she cornered you both for dinner, scowls. “Why? They lied to us. Kept a huge secret.”
Scott nods, stuffing his face with fries, not caring if his neat, button down gets dirty with grease. “Yeah.”
You grimace. “Scott, please chew and swallow.”
He does as you say and then grins cheekily at you before turning to Wanda with a semi serious expression. “If they were able to keep such a huge secret, what else could they be hiding from us? That we’re not their children?”
Wanda sighs as you roll your eyes. “Scott, you’re adopted. We’re all adopted. They never hid that from us.”
He scoffs. “That’s besides the point. Right, Clint?”
All eyes fall on Clint, who has been silent since Wanda brought up the topic. He sits with arms crossed, food untouched, his eyes boring into your sister. “You already know don’t you?”
Scott chokes on his fries and Pietro’s eyes widen, shock coloring their faces.
Wanda, however, remains neutral, but the way her eyes twitch under his heavy gaze gives her away.
“You do,” you say with a gasp. “They told you?”
She closes her eyes and sighs. “Yes.”
Scott’s chair creaks when he stands up, pointing an accusing finger at her. “Traitor!”
“Scott!” You whisper harshly, tugging at his arm. “Sit down! People are staring!” And they are. Who wouldn’t stare after that loud exclamation from your brother?
“Sorry.” He quickly sits down before once more pointing at your sister and whispering, “Traitor.”
Wanda lets out a loud sigh. “Look, they told me because I called them to update them on Michael,” she says, voice cracking. “They were worried.”
“What was their excuse, then?” Clint asks softly.
“Us.”
“Us?” Your eyebrows shoot to your hairline and your sister nods. “What do we have to do with them not telling us they got divorced?”
“Well… Maggie getting engaged and Scott moving back in temporarily.” Scott winces at that. He might be on good terms with his baby momma and her husband now, but that wasn’t always the case. “Lulu’s adoption and how hard it was to be able to take her home for Clint and Natasha.” Clint’s jaw clenches. It wasn’t just a tough time for him. It was for all of you, too, especially for Michael who had been looking forward to being a big brother. It took over a year and a half for Lulu’s adoption to be finalized.
Her eyes catch your eyes and they turn sympathetic. “You almost dropping out of law school.” You look away from her, rubbing your arm. Yeah, that was a tough time for you. “Pietro leaving for Sokovia for a year.” He drops his head, remembering how hard it was to go on that trip for him and your family. “And well, me struggling to find what I’m good at.” Wanda had been hit pretty hard with Pietro leaving, and it just so happened that Wanda had been hit with an existential crisis at the same time.
“It was one thing after another and they didn’t want to add more stress on to us.”
“So they got a divorce without us knowing instead?” Pietro says, his frown deepening.
She doesn’t shy away from his skeptical gaze. “I know. It was dumb. I won’t deny it,” she admits. “But our parents prioritized us and our feelings. I know that if through all of that our parents announced their divorce, I’d probably have been more devastated than I am now about it.”
You tug your bottom lip between your teeth as you mull over her words. She could be right. But did they have to get a divorce in secret? Couldn’t they have waited until now? And why did they get a divorce anyway?
Your phone goes off pulling you out of your thoughts. Reading the reminder displayed on your screen, you let out a sigh and lock eyes with Clint. “We have to get going. We have a consultation with Mr. Lee at 12:45.”
Clint nods and pushes away from the table. “Right. Text Lucy and make sure she has the paperwork ready.”
You nod, already typing out a quick message to the office’s secretary.
“I should get going too,” Scott says, following your example and stands. “With Luis still on vacation, I left Dave in charge of the office, so who knows if I’ll have an office to go back to.”
Pietro stands up too. “If you guys are leaving, then I should too.”
“I’ll get the bill, then,” Clint says, moving away from the table.
Before he can take another step, Wanda’s firm voice stops him, “Guys, wait. Please, just… talk to them? You don’t have to forgive them, yet. But they’re our parents and they deserve a chance to explain.”
She’s right. What harm is there to hear them out? They’re your parents after all—and they chose you. All of you. So shouldn’t you choose to hear them out too?
You glance at your brothers and find that their eyes are roaming around the cafe, knowing that if they meet her sincere gaze they would give in immediately.
With an eye roll, you decide to be the first to react, knowing that they’d soon follow after. “I guess I can give it a try.” Wanda’s frown lifts slightly.
Clint runs a hand through his hair, pursing his lips in thought. “I’ll think about it.”
“Yeah, okay, I will too,” Scott adds, throwing his hands in the air.
Wanda beams.
Your eyes drift to Pietro who has yet to agree, and under the pressure of everyone’s eyes on him, he gives in with a dramatic groan. “Fine.”
“Thank you,” Wanda gushes, rounding the table to hug all of you, and somehow, you end up in the middle of this hug that Scott is completely all in for, Clint is somewhat okay with, and Pietro is completely disgruntled about.
“Okay, can we stop being cute and gross, please?” You exclaim from within the group hug. “I’m getting squished here!”

Sweet Practice, Chapter 9: A sweet battle part 2
"You still haven't forgiven me, have you?" Julian asked Ichigo, voice soft and full of regret. Regret of using her, of not telling her the truth earlier.
"No, I haven't" she answered, getting ready for her great presentation.
She was nervous, it's been a while since she sang in front of people. Specially for such an important event.
"Will you ever forgive me?" He tried again, watching their teammates put the last touches to the café- not being brave enough to look at her face.
"With time" she replied after a while "But you have to prove me that you are my friend, first"
"I am!" He exclaimed, hating that she wouldn't believe him.
"I don't know that! You used me, making me trust you, making me believe that you were helping me because you saw talent on me and because you were my friend. But you did it for your own gain! I believed in me again, because of you... and you used me..." her voice broke, at the edge of tears "Now leave me, I have to get ready and you keep on interrupting me"
Julian looked at his friend... the one he loved and it broke his heart, how much he had broken her. He sighed, but did as she wished and left her to her own. As he walked away, Ichigo looked around the place. It was so different to what she would have liked it to be... but at the same time it felt so right.
The place was decorated in a modern North American way, in silver and black colors. The sweets they had chosen for the menu, weren't prepared in the normal way, they were decorated in a cool and fun way- searching for the entertainment and the fun. Of course, they also are delicious! There was even a karaoke on a small stage!
Ichigo had tried to ignore this side of her for a long time. After all, she could still her sensei screaming at her ear, telling her what a horrible artist she was. That if she wasn't perfect she was no one. That good is not good enough. No matter how many times she was crowned queen, or how many times she beat her, and other people's, records. It reached a point that she forgot what fun meant, she forgot the excitement of just getting on stage having a good time and enjoying the smiles she put on other's faces. It became about how may fans she had, how many prizes she got, about how perfect she was.
But still... it was part of her. Some part of Ichigo missed the feeling of being on stage and just having fun. The decoration of the café reminded her of her time in Star Academy. It made her think of her old friends, rivals and schoolmates. Think of what they were doing and what is of their lives now. She hasn't seen them in a long time.
Maybe I should pay them a visit. It's been a year now. Also, they are not to fault about my sensei's actions. Ichigo thought, hopefully.
Before she knew it, it was time for her performance to attract people to their café.
Cafe Buono, by Buono:
Ciao! Hey, do you know? Around that corner, see
Is the cafe that everyone in the class has been talking about
Ciao! This way! The girl on the billboard, yeah
Is me, the cutest girl in town
Ichigo jumped on the sides of a fountain, in the middle of the plaza- where all the cafe's, built for the competition, were surrounding it. Everyone together, turned to look at the pretty brunet smiling brightly at them in happiness- a happiness only given by the chance to have a crowd to sing for once again, after so long.
We recommend the donuts and caffe latte
Chocolate mint ice cream
Napoletana and omu-rice
And the pizza margherita!
A bright white pinkish light began glowing around her, a sign that she could reach for the music magic reserved only for Music Spirits of the court, and artists who have great talent and a pure heart. Only when an artist was able to open her heart completely, while a presentation, and synchronize her feelings with the ones of the crowd observing them, it's when they are able to touch the music magic. That's a gift Ichigo always had, ever since her first performance- the reason why her sensei recluted her.
If you get hungry, say Buono! A password that fills you with energy
It'll make you smile right away when you're worried or down
Just come on in, Buono! Any time is fine
We'll always be here, so come on, tuck in
Every time she said Buono, she place her right pointing finger on the same side cheek, and her smile grew bigger- something that made Julian gape at, not believing someone's lips could be stretched so much. On the second Buono, the crowd followed her lead and placed their right pointing finger on the same side cheek, and smiled having fun.
My dad, who cooks better than the best chefs
Always says a full stomach makes a full heart
And my food-loving, pretty mum
Says eating a lot makes you pretty
You could see some mothers and fathers nodding in accordance at the lyrics, making their children blush embarrassedly and their friends to laugh at their expense- but not with malice, instead it was in companionship.
When we've made the espresso
We prepare the pasta
From the moment we open, ahh, there's a nice smell
We take a quick taste for ourselves, a little isn't enough
Her movements were full of grace, something that surprised her team- cause Ichigo is very well known for her clumsiness. But on the stage... she owned it, it was as if she was another person. The beat took control of her movements, making her move almost automatically at the compass, and her voice flew melodiously with every note.
It's fit for a king, Buono! I want to eat this and that and everything
Our recipes for a menu of happiness are still a secret only we know
We love seeing you enjoy it, Buono! You're not done yet!
Moderation? Don't say that, come on, tuck in
This time people didn't wait for the second Buono, they sang along the word 'Buono' and repeated Ichigo's movements. Everyone was so into the performance that they forgot what they were principally here for. Luckily, Ichigo would remind them of that at the end...
However, for her team's own gain.
Put your finger to your cheek and say Buono! A magic word that fills you with energy
It'll make you smile right away when you're worried or down
Just come on in, Buono! Any time is fine
We'll always be here, so come on, tuck in
At the end of the song Julian's team's spirits flew high and threw pamphlets for their café, to the wind to carry all over the plaza. A lot of the spectators caught them, for then give to their friends and familiars to enjoy.
"We hope you all enjoyed the performance! I'll be here every morning for the following week, but if you want to listen more of my music in my team's café: Buono- there will be my music playing all day. Please, come in and enjoy our sweets with us!" With that said, Ichigo bowed at the crowd- which went wild, as they always do at the end of her performances- and popped of the fountain.
She headed towards her café, with half the multitude behind her, the rest deciding to wait until later to see how good her team's sweets were. That day was a great success and so the following six. Before they knew it, time passing fast as they sang and cooked all day, they had won the first round of the competition with the most sales. They even had recurrent costumers!
It was a good start, but Julian reminded them not to get cocky since this was just the start. Also, they still had to face the one who wanted the rules of the kingdom to change- who are not afraid to play dirty to get what they want.
