A bit of a backstory: in late 2015/early 2016, I got on this very intense pop/popular music kick. Basically, I let myself listen to all the pop artists I'd been Too Punk to listen to prior to that*, and got pretty into some of it. Including T*yl*r Sw*ft. And during that time, I found this guy who made parody t-shirts that were mashed up punk or metal bands logos/aesthetics with the names and lyrics of pop singers. One was a Crass/T.S. mashup, and I got it because I thought it was hilarious. After all, I'd always loved Crass and their aesthetic, plus I thought it would be funny to wear it and piss off some Punker-Than-Thou Dudes**. I cut the sleeves/collar off right away, because I do that to almost all my t-shirts, but then I only wore it once or twice in public because...I got over that pop music kick really fast. Especially in the case of T.S., whose music I now find boring (except for maybe a few songs), and who just...kind of grosses me out as a person. I no longer fuck with T.S., but I still fuck heavy with Crass, so over the past couple days I modified the shirt to make it into a straight-up Crass shirt/something I will actually wear. I cut some pieces from an old leopard print tank top I no longer wear (because it was stretched all to hell), and stitched them over the stuff relating to T.S. Then I used some stencils and a fabric marker to add: DESTROY POWER NOT PEOPLE to one of the patches, threw a few safety pins on each side, et voila.
(*I'm still glad I went through it, even though a lot of the stuff I briefly got into then no longer interests me, if only because now I'm sightly less of a music snob and will no longer dismiss something offhand just because it happens to be popular.)
(**Something I still wholeheartedly support doing whenever possible, by the way.)

Gifset here
responding to @alltoosure
So, your criteria was that to be included in this gifset, the argument couldn’t have been resolved and there was no potential justification for someone to be upset at Emma, such as grief?
And, yet, the very first gif is of a fight where Henry is rightfully upset at Emma for using Violets heart to make her break up with him. And comes from an episode where Emma and Henry literally make-up in that same episode and Henry is the one to take the no magic cuff off of Emma, telling her he trusts her?
How does that fit the criteria?
Even in the second gif, Henry is being a dick, but I would say the justification that people he knows keep dying or being cursed by magic and he would like his parents to get along, is as good a justification as Hook’s big brother worship.
Also David and Snow are two separate people and David has freedom of thought. If he agrees to do something or not do something with Snow, that is still on him. He is not under her thrall.
I agree, you didn’t do it on purpose, but our biases can be visable even when we try to not show them.
But look, it’s your gifset. You could make it ‘times Emma was hurt by people who were not David or Hook’ and include examples I don’t at all agree with and there isn’t reallly much I could do about it. So you do you.
Yes, it's my gifset, but it's okay if you want to comment and I'll try to explain my train of thoughts, and you can agree or disagree because it was, after all, my subjective view of it that led to it. Which can differ from yours, and that's okay. Of course I'd prefer if you believed me when I say that I didn't consciously decided to conveniently forget stuff lol but hey, I also can't make you believe that, so it's your call. I’d like to still try to explain my view of this, you don’t have to reply, or you can and disagree (though I think we’ll eventually we’ll agree to disagree), it’s fine. But I don’t know if you’ll read all this because I wrote a LOT and I’m sorry lol basically in the middle I ended up explaining the reasoning between each group of gifs.
My criteria was: "show patterns of Emma getting unfairly treated by people and Emma not ever standing up for herself or even thanking them for it later on. Plus Ingrid (so I guess entirely messed up relationships). Plus, not every moment is going to fit because it's a gifset and I didn't want to put even more gifs."  Or it could also be said “she has an ongoing unaddressed problem with these people, here it is/here they are if it’s more than one” (I already explained point by point why I excluded some, but to be more clear I didn't exclude Regina's grief because I *always* exclude grief, but because 1) I already put Henry being mad at Emma over not trusting Regina soon after and 2) Regina had already more than ten examples in the gifset, it was beating a dead horse. Though I do feel that their reasons can count sometimes. Regina exploding with grief is similar to Killian wanting to protect his brother's honor to me, for example, but Killian apologized, Regina didn't even recognize Emma was literally returning the 'you are benched' favor that Regina and the others did to her one day ago. I'll explain later why Henry scolding Emma because he wanted his family to stick together is in the gifset but I can anticipate that it's also to show the unfair contrast in how they treated Dark Emma)
It *is* a messy gifset, because most things made perfect sense in my head and are hard to explain on paper, and maybe I should title it: Emma vs Henry, Gold, Regina, Snow, Neal, Ingrid, Liam, Walsh, and occasionally David when he gets dragged in. Also because due to the limit of ten gifs = less than 3 mb each, it’s complicate to fit stuff.  But at the same time I feel like it's still... visible that David and Killian can't compare to those examples, due to number of mistakes, amount of times they apologized/were fought over them, and how Emma drags them for what they do at times (plural, I remember Emma being pretty sharp with both father and pirate around the end of s3). I could take away the 'not trusting your gut' block (which as I’ll explain in Snow’s case represents another issue too) and keep everything else the same and suddenly Killian and David wouldn't fit anymore, but Snow, Neal and Regina would still be there. Look at the gifset without that one stripe, and tell me in which blocks David and Killian would fit: the one where they insult her often? the one where they keep getting scared of her magic (which doesn’t even show the even more irritating way the writers had Snow not be as concerned for Emma later)? The one where they accuse her of ruining their lives after being the ones who ruined hers? the one where they belittle her pain about having been betrayed and abandoned or tell her she has everything and other similar concepts? The one where they try to control her with the dagger and enjoy it? The one where they tell her she's a villain/she's bad for not trusting other people or tell her she got pulled out of her problems instead of having to fight for it? The one where they consistently, often, make her feel not good enough?   Okay, David is still there for the insensitive bit of calling the baby Neal (though that's also on the writers, not just Snowing, because they kept glorifying him even in the au world where he didn’t fit) and for the team 'we don't trust the darkness' BUT even if I blame the baby name on the writers, there is a whole stripe of Snow really dropping the ball with her magic or being insensitive, and I could easily replace the not trusting gut stripe with 'occasions in which Emma needed support and we were shown Snow helping Regina' INCLUDING the same episode where Emma nearly ripped her magic off her. So Snow fits way better, could have a whole different stripe just for her, but it feels so ooc to have Snow so calm in those moments that I feel like I should just gif the writers for being asses.
I’ll put under read more the explanation for each gif because it’s super long - I don’t know if you’ll read it, I can’t blame you if you don’t, but at least it’s here. I’ll bold some sentences to help.
When it comes to how I made the gifset, the first gif isn't just Henry being rightfully upset about Emma taking Violet's heart, to me it's an example of Henry, the Henry who was Regina's fan for years, rejecting Emma and judging her for everything she did (which doesn’t exactly compare to what villains in ouat usually do) while comparing her to Gold and Regina who 'showed they have changed', even though Gold very recently showed he hasn't and is only helping because in trouble with Dark Hook (and was in the underworld because Emma threatened to tell Belle he had been lying to her about not being the Dark One anymore, which he was because he took the darkness away from a dying Killian) and a Regina who is very much still battling with horrible instincts but has everybody's constant presence and vocal support, and right next to that gif you find Henry furious at Emma over not trusting that Regina will choose to do good after Robin's horrible death and asking Regina to sit back, the same exact thing Regina did THE DAY BEFORE to Emma because she was 'too emotional' about Killian's death. It's the same Henry who when Regina shuts him out because Robin maybe will go back to Marian decides to wait outside her door (after sending her baskets if I'm not wrong), who keeps telling Regina she's not a villain, who kept trying to keep his family together, but he has always, always, been shorter with Emma. Henry, who later decided to trust Emma but only after closing off to her, telling her she couldn't go with them, and all the things in the speech of the first gif, is the same person who was so offended at the thought that Emma would doubt Regina. Henry has treated better people who *weren't* recently turned into Dark Ones and nearly lost their true love/lost it than he treated her, and it counts to me. Ongoing issue between Henry and Emma: he will always be harder on Emma than on anyone else, and unfairly too at times, because he can afford not trusting her and putting half of the effort he puts on Regina when she has a bad time, but Emma is bad for doubting Regina herself. So that, to me, already becomes a pattern, because even if I blame Neal for it, he did quickly turn on Emma in s2, he did react to 'Dark One Emma' with less hope/belief than he did around Regina's villain side, because hey, like I said, when Regina, in complete control of herself, thinks she might lose Robin to Marian, locks herself in the house, doesn't speak to him, doesn't let him in, Henry is sad and tries to get to her in every way. When Emma, filled with Dark One's magic (something she started using to save Robin right when she should have been avoiding it), who did turn fully only days before when Killian was literally dying, closes herself off because she's trying to figure out a plan to fix this and nobody can know Killian is a Dark One or Killian might find out, reacts like *that* and only later offers Emma some trust again. But Emma is a bad person for not trusting Regina immediately? Unfair.  And I do like Henry, and I’m all here for Swan Believer, but that is an ongoing problem that should have been addressed/solved.
Plus it wasn't just Henry, it was everybody in that room in that first gif. Though in Henry’s case it does connect to a bigger issue that is specific of the two of them.
And under that, examples of people not having changed all that much despite what Henry claimed and not exactly deserving of Emma’s trust, ongoing issues such as Gold constantly putting her life and Killian’s life in danger and getting forgiven and welcomed back in the family constantly, so Emma has to be okay with it. Ongoing issue with Regina: Regina gets to tell her the most awful things and is still justified, a good guy, and Emma reacting would lead to a serious fight and who knows what else.  - Gold recently trying to kill her, same day he took Killian's heart, when he was still considered an ally (I could have also put gifs later of the things I mentioned earlier but by then Emma saw him as an enemy), Regina's speech to an Emma who had just been through all that pain about how she wanted to kill Killian but resisted it (and how she doesn't like doing good but does, and how it doesn't change that she doesn't get a full happy ending - even though nobody there does with the lives they led - and how Emma was *pulled* out of darkness)
And right under those two you get examples of Snow being scared of Emma's powers which likely did remind Emma the whole very badly phrased sentence of 'she's not what I wanted' and brought up also the 'you don't trust me' as Dark One. I don't have to explain why it's a pattern for Regina to act that way. Or how you get six different scenes with focus on Snow in which she let Emma down that way. (to bring back the two men missing, David and Killian weren't reacting in insensitive ways to her magic, 'you are not what I wanted' was unnecessary and not from David, David IS part of the scene where nobody wanted to trust Dark One Emma, and I'll explain the not trusting Emma's gut a scene later because it represents something else too. Though it does make me feel a bit better that David was shown to be losing it, in his office, about being unable to help Dark One Emma, I'll give you that in terms of biased). Ongoing issue with Snow: choosing the most insensitive way to deal with their problems and showing lack of trust in Emma/her powers (and being possibly the most calm person later when Emma was giving up her magic)
In the ones under that, Regina also telling Emma she's acting like Cora, she lost the moral high ground, she's a villain, and the whole 'you were pulled out of darkness' as if she wasn't treated that way. Right under that, several examples of Regina insulting Emma. Clearly not something I can say Snow, or David or Killian do. Ongoing issues with Regina: she villanizes Emma at every turn, she had her ‘reasons why you suck’ speech ready when Emma was the Dark One yet still claims Emma was pulled out of the darkness (by them?) and can’t understand what Regina goes through.
Right under that. Emma having been through a very bad life after coming to this world and Regina's you ruined my life, right next to Lily taking away another big chance Emma had to be in a good family for a while (and lying and all that) and then going 'you ruined my life'.  Ongoing issue with Regina (and Lily): even though I made your life a living hell, you don’t understand my pain and you ruined mine.
Under that, Regina 'you have everything' so I chose to put Ingrid, another person who let her down, even though in this case Emma did get to be mad, because Emma went from bad family to bad family and then in the streets, and THEN, under that, because I mentioned the situation with Ingrid, I decided to put how Walsh, her 'fiance', was just there to control her, raped her by deception by that, tried to kill her, and wasn't even human, and Liam had one chance to have a conversation with Emma and it was like *that*. Which doesn't make it a perfect gifset, but I just kept basically going with the last ring of the chain and connecting to the last things. But it also show three entire relationships that were basically fully based on bad things from beginning to end with a bit of a redeeming moment for Liam and Ingrid. Admittedly they were more there as 'other random people who hurt her feelings a lot and Emma didn't get to vent all that much, plus it wasn't an exception to an otherwise nice relationship, it was a mess from beginning to end'. Something I cannot say about her parents or husband. Though again, I do like Ingrid and Liam. Especially Ingrid, my heart broke for her. Sort of ongoing issue with Ingrid and Walsh: the entire relationship was them trying to get Emma where they wanted her to be, lying and betraying her.  Ongoing-ish Issue with Liam: in the short span they knew each other he judged her and lied. Less fitting than the others.
The people not trusting Emma's gut block connects to the Neal block and yes, Snow and DAVID naming their baby Neal, but also, in Snow's case too, IS a pattern of ignoring what Emma says about Neal while David is more cautious and asks things - I'll explain as much as I can without having rewatched s2 and s3 in years: with Neal and Regina it's obvious why it represents a bigger problem, with David it wouldn't because otherwise David tries to not assume what Emma wants when talking to her, he's... quieter. With Snow? It also represents Emma trying to tell her several times she's unhappy about Neal (the phonecall from Manhattan, the attempt to talk about how she kissed Killian, but also yes, Tamara) and Snow still acting as if she knows that in reality Emma just wants to be with him. As much as I do love Snow, so I'm not sure of how the whole biased thing comes into play here, because I do believe that me now loving David more depends on the fact that I haven't seen the same behaviors from him, not constantly, and it does count for me that he needed convincing from Snow several times even if he relented at the end, since I started the show adoring both of them and then WITH TIME my appreciation for Snow diminished when it comes to her dealing with Emma. Ongoing issue with Snow showed here: dismissing Emma’s words several times so the conversation could go back to what Snow believed to be true.  Ongoing issue with Regina and Neal there, similarly: not believing in Emma’s skills/her words
... also because the writers wanted Regina to have a good ally and picked Snow, and honestly I find ooc that many times Snow wasn't just as involved and agitated as David when Emma wasn't okay. EVEN IF Snow's reactions to Emma's magic were understandable in context, though she could have sure as hell handled them better - it was ridiculous the way she held baby Neal back and shook her head looking down as if afraid Emma was going to kill them both for it, why didn't she just say 'Emma you just warmed up the baby bottle too much, can you wait a minute? You know how anxious I get about the baby' - in the end they were all coming from her even if she kept dragging David into it by making it 'our reaction' instead of 'my reaction', yet at the very end I remember in that episode everybody looking for Emma but Snow being so CHILL about it, walking and talking about Regina's love life? Able to focus on that when Emma was possibly destroying a part of her as they spoke? So the few gifs of Snow represent both that, and the bit I said about lack of trust that Henry is only mad about when it comes to Regina. The writers piled up behaviors that I disliked on Snow, which is why she's in the gifset while they feel far less of a pattern with David. Snow is the one who said the most insensitive sentence in Neverland, Snow was the parent convinced Neal was Emma's love and Emma was jealous, Snow was the one who kept having conversations with Regina or about Regina and suggesting parties and all that while Emma was alone/in pain/looking for ways to take her magic out. Even in the Underworld we got some Snow/Regina friendship. Snow is the one who was so sure they had to find a way to take out any possibility that Emma would turn evil (bullshit plot that makes no sense) because of the unicorn. Snow loved Emma so much, it's visible, it's not a matter of not caring, but she was the leading force of many mistakes and due to plot reasons showed far less worry and realistic reactions so she ended up here too.
And last block, a little mix of Regina's irony 'the more you try to help the worse you make my life' = helping her in Camelot by controlling her with the dagger. You don't think of consequences = begging Emma to save Robin. And right with that 'you never had my back' and enjoying her second use of the dagger to command Emma to shut up. Ongoing issues with Regina: lack of respect, enjoying  physically controlling Emma, blaming Emma for everything while it’s acceptable if she does the same, exaggerating Emma’s flaws so make herself a victim and insulting Emma at every viable turn.
If I had added ALL the scenes I decided not to put, not just Killian at the date (because again, the underworld doesn't fit at all, not when he apologized and it was the one time he went NOPE) or... David not being sure about Henry 'not being okay' after Neverland, but all the other scenes from Regina and Neal and Gold and Snow, I'm sure that the reaction would have been the exact same of the original gifset, simply because 'ah look, the one time Killian and David are there it's because they are hammering the concept that Emma should try to enjoy some of her free time and not always be alert, meanwhile the others gratuitously insult her or hurt her or abandon her when in literal danger of losing herself'. Even if they were all here and you compared them to the gut feeling block only you get 'Neal and Regina never trusted her, Killian and David want her to take a break on being the Savior for a day and Mary Margaret is telling her she's too emotional for her skill to work'.
I didn't put Killian and David because there was no pattern of continuous lack of belief/support, let alone an Emma who was always so submissive about it, and I didn't put August who *had* a pattern because he did his best to fix it and Emma got to be mad at him too, then let it go but he's not there making it worse. I guess I could erase Ingrid to make it look better, but that does fit another general theme that is 'Emma's life suck'? Though considering that Ingrid's whole relationship with Emma *was* about lying and manipulating, just like Walsh even if with better intentions, it kinda fits better than people making a couple of mistakes while normally loving and supporting her. So thinking about it, it still fits. Because they are not exceptions to a rule, they are all part of a bigger picture of either insults, lack of belief, lack of sensitivity, unfairness, or more than one at a time, and that allowed to me make many gifs because there were many scenes, or  to make a gif to represent the bigger issue (Again, Ingrid is the example, or Walsh).
So in conclusion, the pattern has to be: 'people systematically doing these things to Emma and Emma either never bringing those things up or even thanking them for their friendship and support OR people Emma got to be mad at but whose entire relationship/interactions were on false premises anyway and they did end up hurting her no matter what (and let's be honest, there wasn't even that much venting about it after)'. David and Killian don't fit, they fit the pattern of messing up a couple of times, the couple of times I actually mentioned in the other reply so you know it's not a constant, and sometimes even apologizing for it, but having otherwise a regular relationship with Emma where yeah, sometimes they argue, which is healthy, sometimes one of the three lets it go, sometimes apologies are required, but you can also make many gifs of the two men being like 'I believe in you!' 'you can do this!' which helps a lot. You can’t say “damn it, David/Killian, you always end up doubting Emma/you always get scared easily/you always have less patience and understanding with her!” it’s not a big Issue, especially not one that never gets talk about.
So yeah I'm biased, but I still feel that I'm biased BECAUSE I can write all of this, not that I'm writing all of it because I'm biased.

JJK ep6-13
My reactions while watching Jujutsu Kaisen ep 6-13.  Please ignore my idiocy. This is more for my own fandom memories. . . .
6:49 PM 12/20/2020
Jujutsu Kaisen ep6
Haaaaaahhhhh~  Crunchyroll crashed at the beginning of the first commercial break.  Now I remmeber.  I decided to stop watching thru Firestick and reconnect my laptop to my Tv.
6:53 PM 12/20/2020
Let's try this again.
I forgot how great this animation was in this series.  I should have paid attention to studio MAPPA before Yuri on Ice.
"rotten mikan"?
7:18 PM 12/20/2020
The great thing about watching on my laptop instead of Amazon Firestick, is that I can rewind and pause when I need to get food, and I don't have to worry about the Firestick crashing Crunchyroll.  ;u;
Oh now...Fushiguro is talking to that guys' mom... ;o;
Y'know, everyone keeps describing Fushiguro as "cold", but he's REALLY nice.  A LOT.
Wait.  She doesn' thave a PE uniform?
Oh, that's cool.  The other freshmen need someone good at close combat, and Yuuji is good at it.
Oh no...!  SUNSHINE SMILE!!!!  MY HEART...!!!!!!!!!!!!!  GODDAMNIT!...
"I couldn't save anyone...I want to become strong."  Endearing shonen protags!!!!  ;U;!!!!!!
This paper silhouette of Yuuji is hilarious.  Which is really odd, becasue just the other week, I was complaining and complaining about how KNY's drawn-out humor got on my nerves.  Yet this joke has been going on for a while, and it wasn't annoying.  O_o?
Wow.  So many references!  ^O^  Spirit Gun, Bankai, Rasengan,...LOL
Gojou-sensei says he's not suited to being a teacher, but he's good at being encouraging and focusing students on what they need to study.
"Negative emotions are the source of Cursed Energy."  Well, nice to get confirmation on that other episode's implied world-building.
I really like so far how this movie-watching training is about practical, mundane emotional control.  I always liked magic systems that alluded to real life emotional experience, and just added some "supernatural", but kept the way emotions work in reality.
Also, I like how often Yuuji does something foolish or silly, and Gojou not only goes along with it, but often also agrees.  In so many other past series, it would be an excuse to chastise the silly protagonist for some "comedy".  You know the routine.  They go back and forth arguing...One gets insulted or angry at the other's lack of sympathy, the other either gets angry that they're getting yelled at for the other's incompetence, or they're stoically dismissive and then the protag gets insulted at that lack of respect, or the protag tries to justify their foolish actions as reasonable, then the other character argues with them about that,...blah blah blah.  Gojo getting along so well with Yuuji is so incredibly refreshing, you don't understand.
7:44 PM 12/20/2020
I'll save ep7 for later.  Watching anime takes so much effort when I keep wanting to write reactions AND eat at the same time I'm reading subtitles.  Maybe if my eyes were as fast as they used to be...Ah well.   . . . 10:28 PM 12/20/2020
JUJUTSU KAISEN Episode 7 – Assault
I thought this guy got warned not to fight Gojou head-on?  No, wait.  It was just to seal him vs killing him.  Is he ready to seal Gojou?
Gojou's asking this guy to hold up his hand, while he's drawn all cartoony...  This series' humor---!  LOL  ^O^
That is CLEARLY LOTR...  How is this series getting away so many references!  lol
Gojou is really consideratee, compared to a lot of past mentor characters.  I always appreciate compassionate characters.  ^-^  If this series keeps slipping these traits into most of it's characters, I'm going to really love this series even more than I already am starting to.  ^^;
"New Humanity"?  Is that what Curses think they are?  Talking like it's superior?  But if they're made up of primarily or only negative emotions/energies/Curses, then they have a limited spiritual/experiential range.  That's stagnancy and evolutionarily inferior.  This series is more and more sounding like my Personal Myth's magic system.  lol  And if they start talking about Domains cancelling each other out by one overtaking the same space with its own energy density...Well, this series may be more in sync with my type of thinking than I realized.  ^^;
He can still interrogat Jougo after decapitating him?  Did they establish that Curses can still function a little after being torn up?  Or am I remembering Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba instead?
Well, I guess that guy is a former student.
Flower attack and they're both cartoony again.  LOL  This freaking show and it's humor blended into the tense scenes!  ^O^  ...WAit a sec.  How the hell did MAPPA find a director that could so seamlessly blend all that?!  ...Well, it's anime and anime ahs been doing that blending of tones for years, so why is this so surprising to me?  I guess the contrast is a lot more stark.  And yet, it's not jarring AT ALL!  O.O!
I like that the attack spell was to take away their will to fight.  Usually, I've only seen that concept with humor instead of a peaceful setting.  It's interesting.
Suddenly it's classroom ettiquite. These dorks!!!!!!!  ^O^  I love them so much already!  LOL
Halloween?  Are they going to explain why sealing Gojou on Halloween is advantageous?  I love Halloween mythology.
Wow, this omake has a LOT of animation!  O.o . . .
3:43 AM 12/22/2020
JUJUTSU KAISEN Episode 8 – Boredom
I skipped watching this earlier because I thougth I coudlnt' eat and write reactions simultaneously.  But that just made me not watch anime all day.  ;_;  So I'm going to eat while I watch again.
Odd they're going for a tournament arc when I thought fans were getting tired of it.  But I guess it's only some anime critics.
Even stranger that fellow students are being set up as antagonists, when there's already such a strong threat established outside of their comrades.  But I guess it's to futher establish the "higher ups" are corrupt and more of a problem than Curses.
Okkotsu's place?  Was that the person Fushiguro implied died with him on a mission but wasn't in the same year?
I guess not.
"Boring tastes in women"????  What if someone says they like a feature and in Aoi's opinion that's a "boring" trait but in that person's opinion, it's a great trait?  I can't believe this guy recognnizes it's ok to like guys instead---he'll understand someone else's differing opinion on that level, but not in how subjective a trait can be valued.  -.-;  Well, "ridiculous character introduction" achieved.
"Unshakable character"  is a good answer.
See?  What'd I tell you.  Subjective perception.
I'm starting to like Nobara.  She deciphered Maki's weakness already an just started insulted it.  lol  Not even bothering for a physical attack.
"I panda.  I no understand human speech."  lol
Interesting how Renin makes sure to insult both herself and her sister instead of just insulting her sister.
Is it weird I like Nobara even more because she's seriously choking Maki?  Naw.  Must be my pet peeve against bullies making me really want to see Maki suffer.
Liking Nobara more, seeing how calmly she takes these new antagonists.
4:04 AM 12/22/2020
Crunchyroll is buffering.  ugh.  I hope it doesn't crash.  I'm watching thru my laptop and everything, so it shouldn't crash like the Amazon Firestick.  ;o;
4:14 AM 12/22/2020
Ok. Looks like Crunchyroll froze.  Finsihed an entire YouTube vid, waiting. I'm going to reset the episode then.  ~_~;
4:15 AM 12/22/2020
Oh wait.  It's working.  ---No, wait.  Buffering again.  Ugh.  It's so hard to watch this series!  Lucky I like it more than Demon Slayer KNY.  Makes watching worth the buffering/crashing.  But Yuuji hasn't been in this ep so far, and it's trying my patience without him.
4:17 AM 12/22/2020
omg.  It unbuffered for only one second.  o__o;;;;;;;
4:19 AM 12/22/2020
Refreshing the page.
There's stil buffering, even after reloading the ep.  Ugh.  I'm tired of this.  I can try to watch this ep later.  I'm going to watch YouTube.
5:28 AM 12/22/2020
I kinda miss my other fandoms.  Persona 5, FE3H,...Much simpler, or rather relationships between characters felt less vitriolic, even when they disagreed.  Even Akechi got dealt with and eventually taken off screen permamently.  I didn't have to spend (much) time with characters I hated.  At least those series didn't have bullies.  Bullies reallly tick me off.  Which again, is weird pet peeve for me to have since I've never been bullied before.  But certainly makes sense in terms of my depression.  How can people go out of their way to make life miserable for others, when life is already miserable on it's own? I can't forgive that Malice.
These so-called classmates from the Kyoto school don't even know what True Strength is, if they're wasting their time bullying their underclassman or any comrades in general, instead of focusing on fighting Curses.  No wonder the number of Curse-related deaths is so high.
Ugh.  I need to get past this episode soon, before I get soured on this series and drop it, despite its excellent protagonist, like HeroAca.  There are enough horrible things/people in real life.  Why would I put up with fictional people who aren't a joy to be around, in any way?   . . .

Jujutsu Kaisen ep8
AND CRUNCHYROLL JUST CRASHED AGAIN!  LOL
I was just trying to re-watch ep8, even that first half that I didn't like, and Firestick crashed again.  I thought it'd be ok since it was the first thing I had the Firestick do this morning, but dang.
Anyway, I just wanted to reiterate my annoyance with Todou Aoi.  Just because he thinks "tall" and "big ass" are interesting traits and that "taste in women" supposedly reflects an interesting person, doesn't mean those are objective assessments of those traits.  There are no objective assessments of sexually appealing triats!  A trait that could be "boring" to Todou could mean everything interesting to someone else!  What a jerk.  If he wants to fight so badly, he should stop hiding behind excuses and come out and fight.  Idiot.
And the worst thing is that ridiculous antagonist characters like this are probably going to turn out to be really buddy buddy with a "silly protag" like Yuuji.  Goddamnit.  ~_~;;;; . . . 12/25/2020 ..During breakfast, once again tried to finish Jujutsu Kaisen ep8, but Crunchyroll crashed again on Amazon Firestick.  The other day, Crunchyroll crashed on my laptop too, so I didn't have much hope for watching thru my laptop, which is why I bothered watching thru the Firestick/TV in the first place.  It crashed only after the first few minutes; not even reaching the mid-episode commercial break.   ..Got fed up an watched Jujutsu Kaisen ep8 on YouTube, but it was an edited version that skipped every few seconds.   . . . 11:45 AM 12/26/2020
Jujutsu Kaisen ep8
During breakfast today, I completely gave up on trying to watch on Crunchyroll.  It's crashed on me too many times on Amazon Firestick/TV and too many times on my laptop.  So I just straight up went for the YouTube bootlegs.  I didn't even try this time.  Because I've tried to watch this episode 8 at least 5 times by now, and I'd like to finish it before Nendoroid Fushiguro's preorder window closes, so I can decide if I should preorder him or not!  How many times do I have to watch this first half of ep8?!?!  And it's full of bullies, no less!  Bullies are my pet peeve!  I've dropped frickin BNHA because of just ONE reoccurring bully character, and the first half of JJK ep 8 has TWO.  So no, I don't want to keep watching the fist half of JJK ep8 over and over and over again!
Miwa was cute and the gag about her being a Gojou fangirl was funny.
But it made me stop and wonder why this episode had 2 fanboys/fangirls:  Todou Aoi and Miwa.  What are they trying to say?  Since the traditionalist Kyoto school leader was visiting, is it a statement against blindly following something?
Another thing discussed in this episode that struck me was the very non-traditionalist, antagonistic towards "the olds" way that Gojou spoke.  It clashed against a lot of the popular Shonen series lately that have background messages about "working hard", "simply accepting things", unquestioning,...and something else I can't quite rmember.  One Punch Man, Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba, and maybe even Boku no Hero Academia  I'll have to watch the 2nd half of this ep again to solidify this thought.  But I did notice something in this episode that made Jujutsu Kaisen seem more counter-culture than a lot of the other popular Shonen series I've seen in recent years.
Also, what's up with that one month future time skip, only to go back to the present to return to Miwa getting her photo with Gojou?  What?  What was wrong with just showing the sequences chronologically?  The curiosity is going to drive me nuts if I dont' stop thinking about it.  lol
I also really liked Nobara's cute head lean onto Zenin Maki when she realized how much she respected her.  I'm sorry, but I'm always weak for kuudere girls unconsciously making all the other girls fall for them.  ^.~   . . . 1:59 PM 12/27/2020
Jujutsu Kaisen ep9
I"m not going to type so many reactions, until maybe after the ep is over, because I'm going to focus on eating instead.  Hopefully, I'll remember all the points I reacted to.
2:29 PM 12/27/2020
Episode over.  Let's see what I remember.
I liked how in depth it portrayed how real life emotions and grudges can fester until they become these supernatural curses.  That first part of the ep, just about Yoshino's supressed anger, getting bullied, feeling harassed, etc. got a whole lot more screentime than most other demon-hunter or yokai series. (Maybe it's just because he's going to become a kind of major character, seeing as he gets to be in the opening theme sequence.) Usually that type of emotional backstory to explain supernatural phenomenon, does get a poignant exposition, but even though it's effective, it's often pretty quick. (Though, I am referring to the more frequent one-shot characters of each supernatural escapade.) Especially in action demon-hunter series, like Ushio & Tora.  Still emotionally effective, but very short screentime.  But this guy, Yoshino's bullying scene goes on, intercuts with daily slights, for that chaotic feeling of compiling grudges everyday, and then he gets onscreen monologues of his specific thoughts while getting beat up.  It's all very viceral and I apprecate that.  I mentioned before how I like that Jujutsu Kaisen seems to portray real emotions to explain its magic system, instead of just making up a fake mystical power source.  I mean, I'm usually fine with that type of purely imaginary magic system that has only vague explainations (in real life emotions), but JJK feels like it more directly translates grudges into Curses/magic and that feels interestingly refreshing.
This scene with Yuuji and Gojou introducing Nanami was so funny, I was instantly laughing out loud, several times.  I'm so glad I ended up preordering Gojou's Nendoroid and not just Yuuji's.  lol
I love how whenever Nanami says he doesn't care, the direction returns to the exact same angle, frame, etc.  Really makes the joke hit each time.  LOL
But again, like I was writing earlier about my growing suspicion that a lot of current popular Shonen series seem to fetishize hard work (without considering people disadvantaged by the same systems) and even sometimes outright parodying people who expect hand-outs (like One Punch Man)---(though I will append that BNHA does have a character like Shinso that demonstrates how the system is stacked vs people no matter how hard they could work)---It may be just my misunderstanding, but I feel like JJK seems to criticize the system, in contrast. I suspect JJK may be more counter-culture than other popular Shonen series right now.  While checking out other current series like OPM, Demon Slayers KNY, and BNHA, I often run into a moment that makes me uneasy in how eagerly a protagonist throws themselves into accepting the abuses of a system, instead of criticizing the system, and how "heroic" that unquestioning or submissiveness is portrayed.  In contrast, Gojou straight-up explained he doesn't believe in the Jujutsu community's current authority systems.  But now we also have Nanami here pointing out that no matter which system you submit yourself to (whether Jujutsu sorcery or office work), it doesn't matter.  Nothing matters...towards happiness or fulfillment, anyway.  Therefore, he explicitly says that he doesn't put excess effort into anything.  But at the same time, he states that he agrees with Gojou about the current system of Jujutsu authority to be wrong.  I'm sure there was a time when themes of fetishizing hard work, without question, worked for me, but I've gotten too old and seen how the system is stacked against people even when they work hard, and how blind followers of the system fetishize "hard work" as an excuse to not show compassion towards others.  It seems especially important in recent years.
I liked that Nanami mentioned that explaining your technique can actually make it stronger.  It's an idea I liked to play with but  didn't used much until Persona 5.  The idea that the reality people build in their heads can be influenced by external forces.  It's why in Kingdom Hearts II, just thinking about Maleficent, remembering her, resurrected her.  Everyone's thoughts about her, together combined, adding energy for whatever traces of her to finish manifesting.  It's like how some entities come into existence, simply by enough people sharing the same thought or pouring energies into the same beliefs/images.  Some yokai series use this idea to explain why some entities manifest out of prevaent thoughts/emotions that happen in the same place or centered around a specific object.  It's nice to see JJK also use this idea in both to explain Curses that manifest out of fears people have had for centuries about the mountains/forests/ocean, and also to reinforce a magic attack.  Because seeing this technique used in a magic system for the purposes of combat, and not just exposition to explain an entity, doesn't appear often.  (Until Persona 5).
Oh, and I REALLY LOVE the art style/animation on Yuuji's Divergent Fist.  *U*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Interesting that they're starting to alreay discuss the concept of humans turning into Curses.  But I guess it's more a display of "some villain's horrifying technique", than the climactic change that a lot of other series use this trope for.  ...I love this trope, by the way.  Just villainizing antagonists as "monsters" always feels flimsy to me, so I like plot reveals about "the random enemies you've been fighting all this time are actually human victims transformed into monsters".  Madoka Magica, Claymore, Kamen Rider Heisei phase 2, Bleach, Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba, etc.  But most of all, I love how this trope forces protagonists to use more empathy, since my favorite ideal is "Compassion as the ultimate True Strength".
That omake---!  LOL  I really thought this was a flashback about Gojou asking Nanami to help with Yuuji, like he mentioned during the episode.  But it turned out to just be a penis joke!  LOL!!!!!!!!!!  I laughed out loud, "WHAT?!"   . . . 2:26 AM 12/28/2020
Jujutsu Kaisen ep10
Isn't Yuuji going to be sent to infiltrate Yoshino's school.  I hope he can protect them.
This poor kid Yoshino.  Never been validated before.  He has to hear that it's ok for him to go vs his ideal of Indifference by hating people.
The body came before the soul.  On this planet, anyway.  And at the very beginning.  Of course now, there's been so much history and accumulation and entities evovled on Earth that there can be entities that begin as souls first and maybe they stay that way or maybe they get souls.  But I think you'd have to go to a whole other star system to find a species that was first on their "planet" that evolved as energy/souls first.  But I'd think most of those species actually started in nebulae than planets.  ..Unelss we're talking about gaseous planets.
omg I can't believe Yuuji pants'ed that teacher.  It's true that dragging Yoshino along with him woudl've been more expected.  I'm glad the writing called that out.
Can Yuuji see negative energy on people better now?  Can he see how much Yoshino hates that teacher?  Or was he just reading his expression?
Interesting that Mahito is distinguishing between protecting the body vs protecting the soul and reinforcing this idea about needing to be aware of one's own soul in order to protect it.
Aw.  Episode over already?  ;o;  This series is good, but I am trying to catch up, since there are spoilers for this series all over social media and I already ran into a few of them.
What the hell is this omake.  Why is Nobara's uniform being worn by Panda and Inumaki...And Gojou---Actually Gojo makes sense.  I get the feeling he'll do anything for a laugh sometimes.  lol   . . . 8:38 PM 2/19/2021
Jujutsu Kaisen ep11
Started Jujutsu Kaisen ep11 around 8:10pm.
8:41 PM 2/19/2021  Just finished.  Hm.  2 sets of previews.  I wonder why.
I finally managed to watch anime again.  ;_;  For many years now, I've had this problem where I can't get myself to watch anime, becaus eI know it's so good and I know it'll be totally engrossing and distracting, that I get preemptively guilty for being so unproductive.  I mean, a lot of times, I can't even multitask _eating_ during anime, because I can't read subtitles as fast as I used to.  So I haven't really watche anime on a regular basis in a long time.  Even though I know I love it.  I guess this is why a lot of my recent fandoms have been videogames instead of anime series.  which I guess doesn't make sense, considering games take as much or more time than watching a series.  Anxiety is wierd.)  There's the inability to multitask, there's pausing every few minutes to write reactions, there's the inevitable daydreaming I have whenever I watch something that's SOOO good that it demands my mental interaction, and if I manage to not write while watching, then there's writing reactions after the episode.  watching anime just takes a lot of time out of me.  I wish I wasn't afraid of that.  Because I'll lose time, wasted on YouTube instead, and a lot of that is just "empty calories" compared to anime watching.  Anyway, I finally managed to watch anime without sitting at my computer, pausing to write reactions at every few minutes.  Finally!  I was searching for a YouTube vid to watch, and everything I clicked was so uninteresting, that I ask myself, "why arn't I watching anime?"  If I wanted something interesting, then go watch anime!"
Since I'm writing my reactions AFTER watching the episode and I have a very bad memory in general, these are by no means all my reactions:
Sometimes I get confused when Mahito's dialogue slips in some kind of exposition thing about how the magic system in this series works.  Like, a soul's connection to its vessel, effecting the shape of a body.  Yeah, that makes sense, but then he also talks about the reverse not being true---and I'm like, "No, both have to be true, otherwise it doesn't make sense.  I watched FF7AC; there was logic behin Kadaj not being able to house Sephiroth until his body changed to be able to fit Sephiroth.  But psychosomatic effect is a thing that exists in the real world."  Much more than Mahito torturing/experimenting on random people, I was more perplexed by him not recogizing the body/spirit connection not going both ways.  Or like in this episode, when he explained something about his surprise that he really could do something with the shape of his soul.  Didn't he already know he could do that?  But then later in this episode Nanami's internal monologue explained that Mahito must be a new entity and is essentially just a kid playing around, still trying to figure their powers out.  Makes sense.
Not that I don't understand this magic system, but there seems to be a funamental work around on its restrictions.  Like, Curses/negative energies can't be the only strong magics in a magic system that translates emotions into energy/magic.  Series after series, we see magic based on negative emotions as being outclassed by magic based on positive emotions.  I keep expecting that to be the big twist in Jujutsu Kaisen.  Because a magic system based solely on negative emotions seems strangely restricted.
Yuuji continues to prove himself to be really sweet an IMMEDIATELY smile-inducing.  It was really nice to see him getting along so fast with Junpei Yoshino.
I was worried about Yoshino and his mom being on bad terms, because of all his repressed anger asides.  I was afraid that maybe she used to abuse him with cigarettes and maybe that was why he had made her promise not to smoke around him.  I can't believe I had _completely forgotten_ that the bullies burned Yoshino's face with cigarettes.  So I was relieved when Yoshino admitted to Yuuji that his mom was nice.  Too bad she immediately was murdered. I feel like Mahito did it; just another experiment.  In the flashback, it was really surprising to see a Japanese mom being ok that Yoshino take time away from school for his mental health, and being so supportive about it.  This manga-ka sure knows how to portray characters as uickly endearing (except Nobara).
I liked that Yuuji's explaination for his reluctance to kill felt a little more nuanced that the usual answers I hear protagonists give to that uestion.  The line (Yoshino) repeated from Yuuji's monologue was about "being afraid of killing tainting one's soul".  But I preferred how Yuuji explained it before that line.  Something about the temptation of having killing as an option in your arsenal, until it becomes too commonplace, and you lose a sense of taking lives as having any meaning, also losing the sense that lives have value (in preserving or appreciating).
9:56 PM 2/19/2021
well, that's all I remember so far. . . .
5:45 PM 2/21/2021
Jujutsu Kaisen ep12
6:12 PM 2/21/2021
So the good news is that I actually got myself to watch anime while eating---guilty about distracted unproductivity be damned.  The bad news is that the episode was so good that I stopped eating.  Thsi is my first meal of the day so I really do need to eat.  But I"m not the type of person who can eat popcorn while watching movies.  when I watch something, I give it my full attention.  I don't eat while I'm concentrating.
Ok.  I guess I should say something about how odd this omake is.  o.o?  Usually you'd have a chibi cameo of a known character.  But I guess we're just getting metaphor instead...or just nonsense.  ^.^;
Since I avoided sitting at my computer while watching, I'll have to retroactively write reactions again.
i really loved that this series just had our protagonist TALK to the antagonist, get junpei's story, his reasons for attacking the school, sympathize with him, solve the conflict by promising to help him.  Any other past Shonen series would have had them just fight and then later, after the protag kills the antagonist, he'll learn the "tragic truth" and then carry that regret into his next battles.  I'm glad thee genre is evolving past that.  Not that I don't like that old style---hell, I love that vanilla Persona 5 killed Akechi, instead of redeeming him like P5R---but it's nice to have a variety in the genre.  And Yuuji has proven himself to be a highly sympathetic personality, and curbing genre tropes to accomodate his best qality is really nice.  ;u;  in fact, a lot of the top series in modern Shonen have highly empathetic, visibly emotional, and vulnerable protagonists:  Demon Slayer Kimetsu No Yaiba's Tanjiro, Boq no Hero Academia's Midoriya, and now Jujutsu Kaisen's Yuuji Itadori.
I had been considering for a while the idea that people in this series' would coul be turning other people into Curses on purpose.  not just the soul-shape transfigurations that Mahito is doing.  I mean like, manipulating people to be so full of negative emotios that they become a Curse.  Like, is that how Suqna became a Curse?  It's interesting to see this episode kind of foreshadow that idea through Mahito's monologues explaining his manipulations of Junpei.
I'll admit it.  As a Kingdom Hearts fan, when Junpei was repeating what Mahito taught him about hearts not really existing, all I could think of was Xehanort lying about that to Organization XIII, in order to manipulate them.  ^.^;
I will say it's really wierd to watch this series act like being able to influence others' souls and being aware of one's soul energy, is a novelty or a rare high level skill...after watching so many series in my life, where that was basic.  Like, in Claymore, that's pretty much HALF of what they do!  There's even a warrior Galatea who is DEFINED by manipulating other's energies.  And I don't mean Jujutsu Kaisen has a bad magic system.  it's really exciting that it's kneecapped its protagonists so much so the audience can anticipate how far they're ascend.  Instituting harsh level, restricting magic system rules, to establish the characters' growth throughout tackling the conflicts of the series' battles, is something I'd wish videogame seqels would do instead of just taking away the protagonists powers.  Don't make the protag start at zero just to give them an up to go to!  Make the system/environment more difficult, to match their increasing power level!  So I'm not frustrated at Jujutsu Kaisen doing this.  But it is strange when your brain is buzzing with, "well, why don't they just do this?" after having watche so many other series' solutions to similar conflicts.  Like, if this was Claymore, any warrior with enough training woul have been able to sync up with Junpei's soul energy and reform him into his body's original shape.  So it feels very odd to be in the POV of a protagonist like Yuuji who doesn't even realize that's a thing that's possible, or at least seems possible within this world's rules.  I mean, Mahito is doing it.  But Yuuji is still a novice student, so he gets a pass; he doesn't become a frustrating protag to follow.  But this series does give the impression that Mahito's ability to transfigure people's souls/bodies is like a power specific to him.  I wonder if his character is just establishing this techniqe into this world's magic system or if it really is just Mahito.  Because so far, it feels like only Mahito.  Only time will tell if Mahito was just an establishing point for this function of this magic system.
Also, Yuuji, don't rely on that jerk, Sukuna.  lol   . . . 6:24 PM 3/29/2021
Jujutsu Kaisen ep13
Let's see if Crunchyroll will finally let me watch this series.  Well, it's not crashing atthe first commercial before the episdoe starts.  That's a good sign.
6:32 PM 3/29/2021
Well, look at that. Crunchyroll didn't crash at the 2nd commercial break, right before the opening theme.
6:39 PM 3/29/2021
LOL  Yuuji totally just punched through that Domain?  LOL!
Whatever potential Fushiguro has that Sukuna is interested in, the story is certainly setting this up this foreshadowing early.
It's really has been a while since I watched this series. I can't remember where Yuuji got those holes in his back.
Love these little resolution talks after a big fight in a story.  Impressed that Nanami sidestepped actually answering the philosophy of Yuuji's question and just commented that Yuuji saved him and can save others.  It's that type of good writing I can't do, that always makes my writing get bogged down.  Like in Kingdom Hearts II when Xehanort was asking all these philosophical questions and Riku got caught up in answering them, but Sora had the wisdom to see that the whole line of questioning was faulty or a distraction to begin with.
Playing a vocal song during the last scene?  Makes it feel like a season finale.  Well, it is ep13, so I guess it's a halfway mark for the season.
6:52 PM 3/29/2021
I'd had to stop watching when Crunchyroll is actually working well for me right now.  But I've got other stuff to do.  ;o;
Ha!  You were going to skip the previews!  I forgot this series has an omake segment after the ending theme!
So if Yuuji taught Fushiguro to make meatball...Oh yeah, they think he's dead.
6:55 PM 3/29/2021
How odd.  Crunchyroll automatically brought me back to teh episode selection screen intead of autoplaying to ep14.  I appreciate it.  But I wonder why that happened.  Is it part of Crunchyroll crashing and glitching on me all the time?  Or did they change their UI?

Svt reacting to their best friend being a really popular vlogger
@soft-smoll requested: “SVT’S reaction to their best friend being a really popular vlogger, please? Also thank you so much for being amazing people!!💕💕💕”
Admin Note: i really hope you like this i tried my best >~<
Seungcheol- Reallly interested. Will probably ask you a lot of questions and be amazed like all the time. Even after you’ve been vlogging and editing in front of him for years. Supports you to the extreme though, will buy your merch if you have any and watches all your vlogs. If he doesn’t have time, he’ll save and download them to binge watch on his many plane rides. Gets really excited when you do something cool or fun.
“Y/N!!! Wahhh, Switzerland looked really nice, you edited the colors really nice too!”
Tumblr media
Jeonghan- Simply gives you a “Wahh cool” and doesn’t think about it again. He’ll be really playful and pick up your camera to record himself and then not tell you. So you figure out when you're editing and text him like “lmao Jeonghan what even” right away he’ll answer back, “what? what are you talking about *angel emoji*” even though he knows exactly what you mean because he’s observant and knows when you edit. but he’ll take care of you well, making sure you eat well, that you're not staying up too late by sending a text like
“Yah, why are you still awake? Go to sleep so you can look good in your vlog tommorrow!”
Tumblr media
Joshua- He would get really worried about you vlogging so much. "Y/N maybe you should take a break" or "go have some freetime without the camera" Honestly that worried supportive mom friend but not. He'll get hype with you when it's time to get hype and be worried about you working a lot. even if he works just as much as you. If he's ever in a vlog, he'd say something really nice but lowkey protective,
"Hii, my name's Joshua, don't leave hate comments because y/n is a really sweet person :)"
Tumblr media
Junhui- Mannnn, you'll probably never let this kid use your camera again because you gotta go through SO much footage of him just posing. You'll get text messages like, "make that a photo for me because i look good in it,,please*blushing emoji*" If he ever gets a chance to be in a vlog it'll just be like, "Hi I'm her best friend Junhui" //flips hair and looks at the viewfinder// But honestly, he's always excitedly supporting you.
"Y/N!!!! THATS GREAT! Everyone should be jealous such beautiful people are best friends."
Tumblr media
Soonyoung- “Wahhhh” so amazed like will stare at you editing for hours like ‘HOW DID YOU ADD THAT EFFECT??” the most curious ever and ya know, curiosity killed the cat hamster. Definitely the type to brag about you to the members like "Did you see how Y/N vlogged the Netherlands, it was like watching a movie." If he ever pops up in a vlog he'll just start dancing the most recent Seventeen song which you'll help him promote by keeping it in the vlog.
"You should all support Seventeen because we're really cool and I'm sure as y/n's fan you guys have good taste."
Tumblr media
Wonwoo- Shy about it tbh, because he didn't want to seem like he was using this popular vlogger. So he'd support you quietly at the side. Like watching your vlogs, showing your videos to the members, buying anything you make. But he'd come out from his shell and all that so you'll be flipping the camera to him randomly lol. He'd be a little surprised and give a wave to your viewers. You'll be like "Wonwoo say something" and he'll start recommending books or sing a song LOL.
" 'ulgo sipji anha~' you guys should go listen to it, it's a really nice song aha"
Tumblr media
Jihoon- Like Seungcheol, would be really interested. Probably has a lot of questions but won’t ask them. You’ll catch him staring curiously at the equipment once in a while and tell him to ask away. And he goes in, with all the questions about editing and the lifestyle, just because it’s so similar but different to him. He knows this is your art, and he has his own art so he has a lot of respect for you. Won’t really watch your vlogs though because he already knows where you're at lol. But I mean when he has time, he’ll watch a video of a place he finds interesting.
“Wow Europe looks so,,,beautiful, your vlogs are definitely the next best thing.”
Tumblr media
Seokmin- This guy is naive and so innocent like he could have known you for 20 years and his reaction will still be the same everytime you vlog. "OMO OMO OMO!!" Never misses a vlog lol, he'll be watching them everywhere, like on the way to music shows. And start blowing up your phone about every detail in the vlog. Its adorable. On the inside though, he'll really take care of you lowkey. You guys will text a LOT, more than other bffs, so he always knows whats going on in your life and you know his.
"I know you're going to Paris tomorrow so rest well!! I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE FOOTAGE!!"
Tumblr media
Mingyu- It’s really cool to him honestly. But like he picked up your camera once and dropped it, but it somehow didn’t break. But you are like "don't touch my camera unless I'm there to supervise you kid.” Mingyu is very artistic himself so he'll probably pick up on some editing or video skills from you and make some Seventeen compilation. This guy is a foodie too so whenever he sees the food from different countries, he gets so excited.
"WOW OH MY GOD THAT LOOKED SO GOOD. Can you find out how they made that for me???"
Tumblr media
Minghao- REALLY CARING. Like that strict caring. Because he understands so well all the fame, how your life is for everyone to see, etc. So he makes sure you take care of yourself. Really though, he always knows where you're going bc he'll ask or you'll tell him, so he doesn't watch your vlogs much. but he'll never tell you when he is, just sending you texts like "that vlog was littt" Legit you getting a scolding if you're awake too late even though you're editing.
"Yah you need to make sure you rest well okay? You can't be vlogging your life with dark undereyes."
Tumblr media
Seungkwan- HA LOL. he’ll stay updated and sees all your vlogs. note sees. probably wouldn’t even watch one minute but reads the word ‘Paris’ before hitting your phone up like, “YAHH! WHY DIDN’T YOU TAKE ME” “dude i wasn’t allowed too” “oh right…well buy me something please” then hangs up. this guy would stay wanting to be in your vlogs. like if you guys, are say, bowling together together, the second you turn on your camera, even if it’s his turn to bowl and he already walked all the way up to the lane, legit he’ll just throw the ball randomly and come running back over to you and steals the camera
“HI! look how much I’m winning by, y/n sucks right?”
Tumblr media
Hansol- Thinks its so dope. Like everything that you're doing. Also helps you pick out any music you put in the background. And lowkey gets you to slide in some Seventeen songs. He'll watch all your vlogs like a movie. "I like watching them because they're relaxing" Plus all the funny moments he'll be laughing and send you an "LMAOOOO THAT RECENT MOMENT IN THE VLOG" via text. And especially when you're videoing some food. Immediately hits you up like,
"Dudeee I live for your food B-roll, mind mailing me some?"
Tumblr media
Chan- Still amazed honestly. You guys are out eating or something and he'll give you the okay to vlog look because he's very understanding. And you pull out your camera and just in your zone, talking so entertainingly. So he just kinda stares at you with his mouth half open like WOW. Because as an idol he knows its not easy, it's like MCing or other things he does except full time. Chan wouldn't really go in with watching all your vlogs but he does pay attention. He'll watch a couple and be like
"Your latest vlog was really entertaining!! Good jobbb, even all the hyungs were crowding around watching."

Obviously everyone's fucking pissed about TOD because "SJM just keeps fucking up" but what are your thoughts? Personally, I quite liked it.
Yeah. I liked it. There where moments where I was like, “Who tf is on this editing team that should have caught that and been like you’ll get slaughtered for this?” But overall I thought it was a good book.
There was stuff in the beginning that was her trying to blend culture and it read like she picked and chose what it was she wanted from an existing culture and then slapped it onto a page, but by the end, for me at least, it came together. It was rough in the beginning though and there were moments when I had to remind myself that this was her trying to be better. And I’m honestly not sure where I draw the hard line on cultural appropriation. But again, by the end of the book it stopped reading like she was *trying* and it started to flow seamlessly. For me at least.
I enjoyed the slow burn of all the ships and I FUCKING LOVED Chaol’s arc. It was angsty enough and it fully explained what all the Chaol fans already knew about his character and his reasons for acting the way he did. But I was glad she fully explained stuff (even though at times I found myself wishing she’d have left it for the reader to gather/know from her hints). But I also get that he is a character she loves and she wanted to explain to all the haters—and people who just didn’t get his actions—his motivations for acting the way he did.
Hypermasculinity is her brand. I know that when I open a Maas book, that’s what I’m getting. So I can’t fault her for that. If that’s something that makes people mad, then that’s a problem with them. We can’t change other people, but we can change ourselves. If hypermasculinity is not something you can deal with, then stop reading her books. Change your own behaviors. Don’t try to change Maas. That’s like complaining to your kitchen table for being a table when you want it to be a chair. It was always a table, it’s not fair to ask to suddenly be a chair. That’s on you. Not the table. Lol.
There was some stuff that was repetitive and dragged on for me that I personally would have changed or edited out. But I ain’t judging. THose things included references to Chaol’s back muscles (LOL @rufousnmacska ), Yrene healing similar back injuries with the horse riding clans, and yeah by the end that last big “I broke my oath to Nesryn” thing was a tad annoying/over done to me. But I LOVED the angst. I was just over that particular aspect of it.
It was slow for me in the beginning. But once it got going I enjoyed it. I thought she did a good job with Chaol’s recovery. His actions and inner thoughts were very believable and realistic to me. And I liked how she used the darkness in his spine as a metaphor for the darkness in him. And I did like how she showed that him not loving himself or feeling good about himself or worthy of self love and respect was his biggest roadblock. That’s one of the things that makes him so relatable to me in this series. He’s a legit human and he doesn’t get all the fancyshmancy arcs and stuff that Aelin or Dorian get. He has always had to dig deep. And I liked that we got that through and through.
I LOVED NESRYN’S ARC. AND I SWEAR TO FUCKIN GOD IF I SEE ANOTHER IDIOT POSTING ABOUT HOW IT WAS “anti emigration or immigration” IM GONNA START THROWING SHIT. LOL. I already posted about how disgusting and toxic that shit is ESPECIALLY from people who can’t think outside their privilege.
I’m fucking excited for Kadara and Abraxos to meet! LIKE REALLLY EXCITED.
I SMELL A SPIN OFF WITH BORTE AND FALKAN AND YERAN (that probably includes Nesryn and Sartaq). AND IM HERE FOR ALL OF IT. (Just please for the love of god don’t let the last book turn into acowar. Let the original story go and end the way it was always planned!)
I’m more convinced now that Dorian and Manon are mates/connected. I’d add the Chaol and Yrene “thread” to my post listing the evidence for that. Lol.
The ending dragged on for me a bit. After Duva and Nestaq/Sarryn I was getting annoyed. But that’s just me. And also because it was a descent book, but it had a lot of filler. It could have been 100 pages shorter and been great. And part of that was that Maas spent more time describing things in this book and that’s not what I’m used to with her writing so it bugged me. I like her cuz she gets to the point quickly and then stuff starts rolling. This was paced a LOT slower. So sometimes I was hooked and other times my A.D.D. had me like “You can skim this. JUST SKIM IT!” So I had to just put it down and walk away so that I wouldn’t skim it. LOL.
I SCREAMED WHEN CHAOL FOUND OUT ABOUT THE WITCHES COMING TO HELP DORIAN AND THEM! I MEAN SCREAMED! That’s honestly ALL I WANTED from this book. ALL. And when Nes was like no it was definitely the thirteen I was like HELL YES IT WAS!
My mind is honestly ALIVE with thoughts of any other covens that may have heard about that battle and chosen to defect and follow Manon. I feel like I would expect that from Petrah, but also Manon was ALWAYS nice to the other Blackbeak covens. She gave them chances to prove themselves and helped them to fight. So I wonder if any of them said “fuck the Matron, we fly for Manon,” and tried to escape Morath to find the Thirteen to join up?! 💀💔🗑
Pretty sure Yrene is Crochan. Pretty excited she’s mixed race too.
I’m a Hasar fan. I was a bit skeptical at first. There were some iffy/cringe worthy moments for me, but by the end I felt like Maas did a good job showing the nuance and not exploiting her.
Um. Um. Um. I think that’s it for right now. Im sure I have other thoughts on it overall. But these are the thoughts I can remember!
