It is an open secret in the faculty that no one fucks with you, not even Gojo Satoru, singling you out as the only person in this very universe to be spared of his antics, leaving others to marvel at your unique position which comes with envy as well as awe alike

Gojo being his usual self, doing whatever he likes whenever he likes and not taking anyone or anything seriously to a fault, but the moment you step into the room, the entire atmosphere shifts drastically enough that it’s hard to not notice

truth of the matter is: Gojo always has at least one of his eyes on you and whenever you are displeased by anything he does, he takes utmost care not to bring your fury on him; it takes but a slight lift of your brows or a roll of your eyes to keep him in check most of the time

you are highly aware of his watching your every move, but have grown so used to it by now that you don’t even bother checking whether he’s got his eyes on you or not and just figure that he’ll catch onto every little hint your giving him

Don’t think this will stop him from stretching your nerves to the limit though, whenever no one’s around whose image of yours he doesn’t want to undermine; even though you could care less, you don’t particularly hide your relationship, you just aren’t a big fan of PDA at the workplace

When the first year students meet you for the first time and notice how their sensei’s behaviour changes, namely that he actively leaves you alone and takes care not to get on your nerves, something entirely unheard of, they get suspicious

They think you jinxed their sensei or have some kind of leverage on him for acting so out of character and are genuinely afraid for his safety so they decide to stalk the two of you until they find out what you have on Gojo

Gojo is of course aware of this, but bastard that he is just lets it play out because how could he be Gojo Satoru if he didn’t let something as fun as this happen?

Lucky for you even if the first years try their best to stay concealed, you notice them following you about almost immediately as well and scold Gojo under your breath that he didn’t just tell you

The two of you end up leading the first years on for the entirety of the day, with you complaining loudly that Gojo’s getting on your nerves while Gojo indeed trails behind you ‘bothering’ you with whatever stupidity comes to mind. Obviously, you roll your eyes at most of what he says but in secret you enjoy screwing with the first years just as much as he does.

This goes on for a while and if it wasn’t for Nobara’s and Itadori’s persistence (and Fushiguro being dragged along) you would’ve kept up the act all the while longer, that is until one day they actually manage to catch you in the act of kissing each other in an empty classroom and their world collapses – Gojo, the strongest, and you, the moodiest, a couple?!

they can’t help their noises of disbelief giving them away, so you have plenty of opportunity to make it crystal clear to them that they’ll be dead if they blab; they don’t need to know that you wouldn’t hurt students but ever since the cat’s out of the bag, all three of them take care to be extra polite to you since they fear that Gojo wouldn’t help them if you decided to end them

Still, eventually word comes out and by the end of the year it’s common knowledge that Gojo and you are smitten with each other; no one dares to speak of it though
