as a massive ac fan i understand the frustration but this is how nintendo has run for a while now lol they stopped focusing on it bc there was money to be made elsewhere (like splat3 which apparently shared a lot of the same devs, and most were moved from ac to work on splat from what ive heard)

#also u cant get mad that YOU decided to buy and entire console for a single game???? like that’s genuinely on u lmao #there are a lot of fans convinced were gonna get like a surprise update soon like babes #i love u i want that too but the game is dead #if anything they’re probably making plans for the next ac game. not anything for acnh #i think a lot of players came to acnh without playing the previous games + a lot of sims players picked it up too #and theyre just used to literally endless support #(sims 4 was released in 2014 and is STILL getting new content regularly)#and ac has never been like that #¯\_(ツ)_/¯#i love acnh and also feel they dropped the ball on it but like #what else were we expecting?? as a long time nintendo + ac fan this is exactly where i imagined the game ending up
