hiii, sorry if this question seems so out of nowhere, but… do you miss miitopia?

Hello there, fellow anon!

I have to say, this question really took me by surprise to where I worried if it was with ill intent or not (thankfully some old pals reassured me that this ask might not be), so I'll be answering this question with caution.

To put it simply, it's mostly a mixed bag.

While I had made a lot of good friends in that era, it was also not a good fandom. Being groomed by my IRL ex-friend, my toxic relationship with my ex-partner, the bad people and bad friends I've put up with, even being stalked online and having my boundaries violated (and being painted as the villain for literally setting those boundaries)... I know wasn't perfect either, since I made my share of mistakes.

I remember talking to an old friend about how it was difficult for me to play the Switch version without having to remember the bad memories that came with it. Of all the games I did not finish, I never finished Miitopia for the Switch.

I will say, however, that it does make me smile when people reach out and say that they discovered my work through Miitopia and saw me move up as an artist, and even thanking me for the good I've done for the community. Since I have four semesters left until I finally graduate, and am already having larger projects in the worlds (including my CRK ARG), I tend to forget I didn't start with much. It does feel nice to know that my older works had inspired others at the end of the day. I can't bring myself to delete my old Miitopia works without being reminded that I left a positive impact on the community in one way or another, as much of a flawed person I was back then.

My Miitopia days are far behind me, and I'm more happier with other interests (and especially Cookie Run). As much as I would love to draw my Miisona again on his adventures, I'm more comfortable with distancing from Miitopia on my own terms.

An announcement I guess

Alright, so...I have enough Miitopia stuff as it is, especially for Violetsbane and all the other AUs I have (not to mention the miisona that I haven’t gotten around to drawing yet). I’m going to move more of my Miitopia stuff to a new blog, so this one isn’t as cluttered because I plan on releasing a Violetsbane comic eventually, and once I have the patience maybe comics for my other Miitopia stories (Hunting Season, Wings of Love, etc). I’ll share some of my more detailed Miitopia headcanons on there too since gosh they’re too long (specifically the Imp headcanons).

Y’all will be able to ask more about my characters or the plot on there, read the Violetsbane series (yes it is a series) in a comic format, etc. Of course you could just read the fanfic but ehhh I’m rewriting it from scratch anyways because 7th grade me was a crappy writer

Idk when it’ll be made though, if I’m given time today it’ll likely come out later. It’s tempting to make a solely Dragon Quest blog as well but I don’t have nearly as much content yet so I’ll hold off for now, though I have a good idea for that as well...

I’m not the only one posting screenshots taken from Miitopia, but fuck it, I’m doing it anyway. I bought this game a month ago after playing the demo and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. I’ve been enjoying this game so much, and it’s easily one of the best RPGs I’ve played. It has a very simple story (for a game like this it doesn’t need a deep story anyway), the gameplay is fun, I love how you can make all the characters whatever you want which means you can play the game in many different ways, and the music is just amazing, there isn’t a single track so far that I think is meh or bad. And the interactions with your main character and all the team members are fun to watch. :)

I won’t post every single thing that happens in the game, just some ones I like or feel it’s cool to show (even if someone already did it already. Then again, this is based on my run and each run is different in this game for everyone so there. xP) and don’t worry, I’ll be sure to put any spoiler warning since the game is fairly new

Enough of my rambling, here’s my Miisona for this game, And yes, I am chubby in real life. Enjoy my fat self. xD
