- My first time really posting any of my writing openly, please be gentle. - Prompt: Ian and Mandy have sleepovers whenever Mandy is in town and they kick Mickey out of the bedroom and make Mickey go and get them snacks and drinks A sigh escaped his lips as he returned to his apartment from the corner store down the street. His hands full of shit that wasn’t even for him. Mandy was in town, his only sister who he’d not seen in person in months. She was staying with him and Ian for a few days while she was on a vacation. Of course this meant Mandy monopolized his husband and the two of them had been acting like teenage girls all day. Tossing the bag of miscellaneous snacks and drinks on the counter, Mickey grabbed the 6 pack of beer he did get for himself. The living-room was silent which only meant that the two were hanging out in the bedroom. ‘ His ‘ bedroom as he wanted to emphasize obviously a little salty over the break in his usual weekend. Weekend were made for him and Ian. Standing in the doorway to their bedroom he looked at the scene before him trying to hide the smile that threatened to spread across his lips. Mandy lay on her back her bare feet on Ian’s pillows her head at the foot of the bed. Her dyed blonde hair sprawled out all around her as she looked at a magazine. His husband on the other hand was sat upright his back against the headboard on his side of the bed, his long legs criss-crossed looking at another magazine. The two were talking about ‘ how cool it would to get houses close to one another, so they could hang out more ‘ as they looked through some snooty furniture magazines. Clearing his throat to get the two occupants of his bed’s attention he arched his brow as his arms crossed his chest. “ Send me to get shit and you’re messin’ up my bed! “ his blue eyes looked between both his husband and his sister who started to move off the bed. “ Yes! Been thinking about chocolate all day! “ Mandy smiled moving past him to get her goods. “ Forget your chocolate, its about the Cheetos! “ Ian called after Mandy but stopped in the doorway to circle his arms around Mickey’s waist. “ Thank you. “ he whispered into his the shorter man’s ear before pressing a kiss to his cheek. Mickey knew Ian was thanking him for more than just getting snacks for him and Mandy. He was thankful that he could have time with his childhood best friend again.
