Who is the most affectionate? - Dele for sure! He’s rough on the pitch and can get angry from time to time. He’s also not overly sappy, however, being with Eric does it for him and he turns into a lovesick puppy. Always looking at Eric with pure love, making sure to brush his hand ever so gentle while walking by and to show him how much he helps him get calmer and better each day.Big spoon/Little spoon? - Eric is the big spoon. Although they’re about the same heigth it’s something that’s always been obvious to the two of them. Eric with his rather bulky figure and Dele seeming so small in his arms. No way they’d ever change roles right there.Most common argument? - They don’t argue a lot. They’re comfortable enough to tell each other what’s bugging them and to let the other know when they messed up. Also their never ending banter and teasing is a form of communicating and getting things of their chests. However, when there’s an argument, a real one, it gets nasty. It usually starts with Eric being mad. Being mad about a mistake he made on the pitch, when he feels like he let Dele down. He beats himself up for days then. That’s when it gets to Dele. It hurts him to know how his partner doesn’t see how important he is for everybody. He tries to let Eric know, tells him over and over again how much he is needed. Eric is stubborn though. He can’t just let go of it. Feeling like shit for being not enough. That’s when they yell at each other. Trying to prove who’s right and who isn’t. In the end they realize sooner than later that they’ll always be enough for each other. And that’s what really matters.Favorite non-sexual activity? - Anything, really. Cute dates like going on walks and carving their initials in a tree. Lazy afternoons at Dele’s place playing video games. They don’t really care what they’re doing as long as they’re together.Who is most likely to carry the other? - Eric carries Dele. Nicknames? - They aren’t exactly keen on pet names. So “Diet” and “Delboy” will have to do. They really don’t care though. Sometimes while laying on the couch, lost in thought Eric calls Dele something sweet like “darling” or “love”. And Dele always plays it cool: “Seriously mate?”, while actually being more than happy about Eric associating him with such names. So sometimes when Eric already fell asleep and Dele can’t help but stare at him, he whispers a faint “Goodnight my love”, hoping nobody’s listening.Who worries the most? - Eric. He still sees Dele as the young boy from MK who needs all the help in the world. Not that Dele actually does but that’s how it’s been for as long as they’ve known each other. Eric will always take that extra step to make sure Dele’s got it all. He can’t help but worry about him. He worries about his nutrition, about his reputation. He worries about tabloids shitting Dele’s story and he worries about Dele leaving. Who tops? - Eric.Who initiates kisses? - Dele does. He’s a kid at heart and quite impulsive. He never thinks about it. He just does and Eric is more than happy about it.Who wakes up first? - Eric. Dele knows how to do media and how to act on the pitch. Domestic life however, shows how young Dele actually is. He loves a good sleep-in. He doesn’t make breakfast or cleans the house. So there isn’t a rush to get up anyway. Eric on the other hand loves that kind of routine. Waking up early to take the dogs for a walk. Getting in and out of the shower before the sun is up. He needs an early start to the day to get all his tasks finished by the time Dele wakes up.Who says I love you first? - They both do, kind of. They don’t say “I love you” for a long time though. They tell each other in other ways. “The highlight of my year? - Meeting you.”. Or “We help each other on and off the pitch.” means more to them than a simple “I love you” ever will.
