Note
hi Dr Devon, do you have any books/articles/etc to recommend for someone who wants to learn high school classroom management skills, with some general regard for disability accommodation?
I recommend reading unschooling approaches and Pedagogy of the Oppressed and rethinking the goal of classroom management / compliance altogether!

Platonic!Kunikida x Student!Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
"Y/n! Stop yawning! Get involved in the lesson, now!"
Another yawn and your bored look. Well, at least you're looking at the board now.
"Well? How much will it be?"
"I don't know."
"I've had enough, Y/n. You're staying after school."
After that, Kunikida returned to the lesson, and you continued to yawn as if nothing had happened. When the bell rang, you, as expected, tried to sneak away, but the teacher quickly stopped it. Pointing to the desk opposite his, he told you to sit down, but you decided to show your character again and sat down in the place where you always sit, namely at the end of the class. Then he himself, with a tired sigh, comes up to you and sits down next to you.
Among all the students, you are one of the most difficult and problematic: you don't study, you trip up, you periodically arrange fights, you smoke. Many teachers have already dropped their hands, and as long as you didn't bring too many problems to other students, they just ignored you. However, there was one small "but", because of which the man wanted to believe that you would start study, namely: you had one hundred percent attendance. Yes, you attended all his classes, sometimes even stayed for extra ones, although you continued to do nothing.
"Y/n, the transition to high school is coming soon, and your grades are worse than ever. You need to pull yourself together and start learning. Now, I will do a quick test to figure out which topics you don't understand. And next week, I'll help you deal with them."
"No thanks, I'll pass."
You start to get up from your desk when he hits it loudly, forcing you to sit down at it again. Kunikida often spoke in raised tones, and it was easy enough to make him lose his temper, but he knocked on the table only when his righteous anger reached the point of no return.
"Y/n, what do you think you will become in the future?! With such grades, you threaten not to get into high school, not like the institute! I'm giving you a chance and I demand to take it! Because at this rate, you will quickly trample yourself into the mud, from which it will be impossible to get out!"
He stood over you and looked straight into your still bored eyes, he could understand from your look that you perfectly understand what he is talking about, just for some reason ignoring the fact of the problem.
"Okay, only if you back off."
Looks like he managed to break through your defenses. This is a success. The main thing is that you take the test seriously, and not as usual. Kunikida gives you three task sheets and continues to sit next to you to follow up. But it looks like you've decided to take the task seriously, since you have tried to solve one of the his mathematical examples for half an hour.
"If you don't know, it's okay, just skip it."
You don't say anything to him, you just keep looking for the answer to the task. To be honest, now he finally saw not your stubbornness, but your perseverance, which could not but please him.
"Y/n, are you doing well at home?"
"Passable."
"And classmates?"
"Yesterday I smacked one jerk from the parallel class."
Kunikida frowns, he doesn't like the way you talk about it easily, but you look exclusively at the sheet and don't notice his indignation at all.
"Why?"
"I just wanted to."
"Y/n, you can't do that, violence is bad, especially if there was no reason for this violence."
"Okay, I won't do it anymore."
It was too easy, but he didn't pursue the subject and decided to stop distracting you. At the end, when you had already handed in your work and were about to leave the classroom, something made him ask you about a rumor that had been walking around the school for some time.
"Y/n, I'm sorry if I'm meddling in my own business, but what is this ridiculous rumor going around the school? About the fact that you have some kind of relationship with the mafia?"
"My parents owed a huge amount of money to the mafia. It's true, if that's what you mean. The postponement expires tomorrow. You can pray for me if you want. Goodbye."
"Y/n, wait!"
You jumped out of the classroom. Deep down, you wanted help, even though you knew that in your case it was impossible, and it was too late to do anything...
On that day, Kunikida urgently tried to find any possible help for you, but no sane organizations and agencies wanted to go against the mafia. It wasn't until the next morning that he found an agency that was ready to get down to business, but you didn't come to school that day.
In the future, Kunikida will take an interest in your parents' case and he will find their bodies, but yours will not be among them.

first week of school. also want to add that ill try to do content warnings better for these! haven’t done a good job of that at all. mentions of racial and ableist slurs, discussion of stressed kids, food insecurity, institutional neglect and harm, general discussion of trauma
ok, thursday and friday weren’t bad other than me being beyond exhausted. i truly couldn’t have functioned without my adhd meds. the seventh graders are fucking amazing and we had The Best discussion, totally out of the blue, about prejudicial language, specifically the n-word and the r-word (both are problems at our school 🙃). i basically don’t have classroom management over them rn (or at least am not bothering to Exert It) bc their other teachers are Overreacting and being Too Intense bc it’s the start of the year so since they already know me it’s all steam blowing off in my class but honestly that’s fine. they don’t have to be non-feral until next week bc i just want them to Relax right now. the sixth graders just got lockers and are Going Through It emotionally so there’s a lot of “breathe, try again” and “nobody is doing tardies right now” bc some of them literally haven’t developed their fine motor skills enough yet and our locks and lockers are, no lie!!!!!, forty years old and Cranky. so that’s a lot of unregulated stress to channel off. i think i say this twice a week but i Do Not Understand how ANYONE teaches elementary school. makes No sense to me. beginning of sixth grade is often too young for me, really; so many of them haven’t developed that, like, independent rationality yet, and it’s A Lot when there are So Many of them.
the ideal way to end this first week would have been to have like a half day for prep so we could meet w teachers, contact parents/guardians, do sped referrals, seating chart upheavals, etc. there’s a lot of “ah, okay, here’s what This batch needs” even 3 or 4 days in, and it would just be so lovely and useful and productive and overall good for everyone to have that. for example i overheard a convo that made it clear that a family hadn’t signed their kid up for free lunch this year and so the kid didn’t get lunch so i had to run around and tell the right people (teachers don’t have access to that info) and make sure they got fed and all but it took my whole prep, and im obviously delighted to do that, but then i didn’t have any prep time and did my last three classes on the fly. not that this kind of thing doesn’t happen most days. it’s just that more prep time is imo the number one thing we need as a profession. i cant begin to express how much it would help everyone.
plus there are, as always, the kids that i just want to have a four hour productive meeting about every single day, where we hash out an Actual Plan. with a social worker, a reading specialist, a developmental psychologist, a pediatrician, a therapist, a sped expert, a speech therapist, an occupational therapist, a case manager, a para AND an ea and a secretary for notes. instead it’s me and the counselor who has a 250 kid caseload for ten minutes in the hall.
ive had a dream for a while, since grad school actually, of studying the affect of referred trauma on kids’ peers and school faculty and staff, especially peers and faculty and staff who also have trauma. the amount of shit that slides off of me now because you Have to grow the most perfectly balanced shield of “i will Act on this and Not ignore it” and “i must Remain Calm” and “I’ve just heard the Worst Thing Ever and have to teach for another four hours”. what does it do to you long term? what about the ones who get inured? and the ones who don’t? how can we actually help people handle this well? i know there’s So much stuff out there about secondary/vicarious trauma, and trauma informed education, and i want to be able to know if it’s at all useful or if it’s too tainted to use, like i now expect from basically all educational academia. to be clear i have already done a lot of work in this area but not for a while, and i wanted to reframe the fundamentals.
so glad we have a three day weekend now.

Importance and Method Of Educational Research
Tumblr media
What is Educational Research?
The scientific field of study in which education, as well as learning processes, are being examined and the human interactions, attributes, institutions as well as organizations that shape educational outcomes.
Educational research also refers to the systematic analysis and collection of knowledge related to the educational sector generally with a view to an improving its efficiency. Educational Research may involve a range of methods and many aspects of education such as student learning, teacher training, teaching methods, and classroom dynamics.
Educational research is the key point in the overall development of training and strategy formulation.
Characteristics of Education Research
Judgment
You need to have a capability of judgement while you are working in the world of research. Educational researchers must resolve the problem of asking for help when they meet obstacles in terms of gaining the best results. The researchers could get the result in mistakes, wastage of time or worthless resources if they failed to do perfect research. The validity of decisions and documentation must redirect to the judgement that will stand peer analysis as they have doing in depth studies and challenge theories. Educational researchers who own this characteristic will have capable for good judgment.
Experiential Nature
Educational Research requires step by step proving mechanism, confirmation, and evidence. These steps are mostly useful in scientific research but it is also the basic required characteristic in any research. All types of research apply this process but only a real proven work is considered as a successful research.
Understanding the reason and consequence of a Problem
The whole research process is to know the actual problem. So it’s expected to have a need to find out the cause and effect of it. The root is the only cause of the solution to any problem. So, in simple words, we can say that cause and effect are the ways to the solution of the problem.
Communication
Communication is very helpful for researchers when it comes to creating and maintaining operative teams to get the best educational research productivity. An educational researcher works with complex theories and detailed information so they must make sure communication accuracy and efficiency while working in the research field.
Educational researchers need frequently translate complex information to audiences with equal to less technical backgrounds, so a short and simplified style is a suitable option. Solid written skills will help educational researchers inform, convince and teach stakeholders. Researchers should also be with modern approaches with social media awareness and marketing concepts to promote their work and projects.
Method of Data Collection
Another essential factor for educational research is Data Collection. Data collection is the best way to solve the problem of your solution. Only accurate data can provide you with the results of the problem. Data collection can consist of two ways – Primary and Secondary sources. Most researchers trust primary data and come up with great ideas, but secondary data is the source to support those ideas and decisions.
Importance of Educational Research
The key purpose of educational research is to expand existing knowledge by resolving solutions to different problems in the education field with better improvements in learning and teaching methods. Educational researchers also search for answers to questions troubling learner inspiration, progress, and teaching space management
Basically, research generates innovative ideas, builds authority, and develops understanding and analytical skills so that the researcher could apply his or her efforts to justify the work and build a superior foundation for admirers in the career field so they could take the correct decision in the accurate time without any obstacles.
Educational Research Methods
Interviews
Interviews can take several forms in educational research from structured or semi-structured to formless or informal, and can offer specific strengths and challenges based on the research purpose. Interviews can yield detailed information and can be mainly useful if you want to examine experiences, opinions, or approaches, but the process of planning and conducting them needs time and attention, and researchers can be faced a number of different choices during the research process.
Focus groups
Focus groups are used to get many of the advantages of a one-to-one interview, but with the important difference that they provide a collective rather than a distinct view.
Participants interact with each other instead of with the interviewer in a focus group, and it is from the group interactions that the data occur.
Observation
Observation is required in educational research when you have to understand how or why something happens, and this can be a mainly real data collection method when information gathered from people is possible to be different from actual information.
Observation methods can take place in many forms across a wide spectrum mainly ranging from complete or free to highly selective or highly structured. All includes advantages and disadvantages as well as particular ethical and practical concerns. There is also a different level of participation that a researcher can undertake and this can have an important behavior on the data collection method and the type that the analysis will take.
Concept maps
Concept mapping is an educational practice to help students see clearly how new concepts can be related to earlier learned concepts
Surveys
Surveys generally search for data from large numbers of people. Some surveys gather information from entire populations of people. For instance, a school could survey all its learners, or all their paternities, to get their opinion about school some concerns relating to school policy.
In such circumstances, a high-profit rate or at least ensures that everyone qualified to respond has equal opportunity, may be enough for the findings to be of import.
Conclusion
Educational Research is important when you are running an organization where you are making a future for the next generation with your school or institute. Educational Research provides you a complete insight into your teaching and learning methods for the learners and teachers.
Spade Survey is a Market Research Firm and Data Collection Company that can conduct Educational Research for various organizations. The purpose of Spade Survey’s educational research is to cultivate new knowledge about the teaching-learning situation to progress educational practices.

Importance of LMS for Schools: Edneed
Tumblr media
Are you ready to select a good LMS for schools?
Today, when people value their time more than ever, they prefer to use online services that automate processes to make everything easier. If I say that online education is one of the fastest-growing and developing industries that is implemented effectively and produces satisfactory results, I am not revealing a secret. When it comes to the overall teaching process, online educational platforms, management systems, and LMS for schools have a lot of advantages and are worth a shot.
Using an LMS for schools boosts the productivity and efficiency of any educational institution. The reasons or benefits (as you prefer to call them) are different. Here is  a list of points that will reflect the power of LMS in schools. The primary emphasis will be on discussing the role, significance, and benefits of the learning management system. So, let's get started and go over the points.
Saves money and time
LMS platforms help us save time and money by automating educational activities. We spend a lot of time creating, managing, and carrying out the process. Using LMS systems, however, we save at least several business hours that could be spent on something more important. Consider how you deliver live lessons. You most likely use Zoom, Skype, or another similar platform. You contact the students and agree on a date and time for the class, then you set up a meeting and send them the link, or you organise a group call, and you conduct your lesson.
Management Efficiency
Learning management systems aid in the organisation and management of the overall teaching process. On your platform, you have complete visibility into the students and their behaviour. As a result, you identify the flaws and work hard to improve the results while meeting the audience's expectations. As a result, teacher-to-student contact becomes immediate, quick, and comfortable. There are various methods of easy contact available, such as a live chat. Furthermore, as previously stated, online invitations automate the process. Students can "book their seat" for a live lesson without contacting the teacher.
Simple access to educational materials
The best LMS for schools provides organised educational content that potential students can access. In a traditional classroom setting, the teacher introduces a topic, explains it, provides examples, and so on. However, if the students do not understand the concept, the teacher must repeat it, which takes more time and energy. This issue is addressed by online LMS platforms. The teacher has the opportunity to record the entire duration of the lesson, and if even one student does not understand any points, they can obtain the recording and watch it again and again.

Convenience in Organizing Educational Activities on a Single Platform
Education providers face the challenge of organising the teaching process across multiple platforms. They conduct live lessons on Zoom or Skype, sell online courses on various platforms, create tests on Google forms, communicate with students via various messengers, and so on. A wide range of platforms consumes a lot of time and energy, reducing efficiency. Organising the process in a single platform, on the other hand, increases productivity as well as helps to manage the process on time and in high quality.
User Behaviour Tracking
When you have an LMS platform, it allows you to track user behaviour on your website. It is accomplished by integrating and testing analytical tools. One of the most popular in this regard is Google Analytics. It will assist you in determining the number of monthly visitors to your platform, the most frequently visited pages, the amount of time people spend on each page, and the actions they take on your website. With all of this information, you can analyse it and determine how useful your pages are to users. Perhaps there are some pages that cause visitors to leave the site.
If you are looking for a good LMS platform that will assist you in the organisation, management, and control of the teaching process, Edneed is the best option. Edneed will assist you in managing the process whether you require an LMS high school or you are an individual education provider seeking a personal LMS platform.
This platform is a professional website builder for teachers and other professionals who want to share their knowledge and skills online. If you are interested, you can register on the platform right away, create your teaching portal, and begin your career.

It’s... pretty complicated
Summary: College dramas in the life of a third-year student who decides to start, not a relationship, but something with a renowned professor.
Tumblr media
Okay the GIF is not very related to the subject, but this man dressed in black has me at his feet.
Notes: This is quite cliché actually, but what does it matter, it is worth dreaming. It is planned to be written in several chapters, so the first is mostly to give context to the story, I hope you like it.
I base myself on Loki's physique, although I will mention Tom Hiddleston as the star of the scene, but my perfect image is in the essence of Loki in a black suit.
I study a completely different area to numbers and physics, don't be rigorous with me on the subject, only I think it an excellent area to show Loki's personality, I do not know why.
I will show at the beginning of the series a somewhat possessive relationship, but with the outcome I promise to shape this. It should be noted that not in a toxic sense.
I didn't mention a specific university, country, or geographic location.ical location.
It's the first time I've written anything obscene, I hope you like it.
Precautions: 18+, mention of fear or anxiety, unprotected sex, a relationship at the beginning somewhat possessive.
CHAPTER 1
I NEVER SAID I WASN'T INTERESTED.
Notes: Okay this chapter is kind of weird honestly, I didn't really put so much emphasis on the obscene, but I feel like it ended up fine, I hope you like it.
Word count: 6389
You had gotten used to the hot weather of the beginning of the year, in fact you had always preferred that climate. You spent the summer with your parents on a beach, sometimes you missed them too much, but your father's job and the university of your dreams were right at the opposite ends of the country. The first year was quite complicated, but then you got used to living alone, you actually lived two blocks from campus so your bike was the perfect means of transportation.
You made some friends here, Jared had become your best friend, his bond of trust scared you a bit as you could tell him anything without fear, but it was quite comforting to have someone like that by your side.
You had earned a scholarship for academic excellence, your studies were your priority since you were a child and you loved that. The only unpleasant thing about this scholarship is that it restricted your choice of teachers in half of your subjects since you were supposed to be with “teachers of excellence”.
When you compared your subject strip to Jared and Diane, they only shared one class the three of them together, Diane another, and Jared two more. In the end you weren't going to be alone in all the classes so that calmed you a little, studying physics wasn't so complicated, it was easy for you, but socializing wasn't much for you.
You went to building C, your first class was analytical mechanics and later thermodynamics, the teacher in the second was assigned to you by the institute, a Doctor Hiddleston, you've never heard of him, you just hoped it wasn't a headache. Your mechanics teacher was a love and with the first class you knew it was going to be one of your favorite subjects.
When you finished you went to your other class, you sat right in the middle in the third row, several were in groups apparently with their friends from previous years. You took your computer and got ready to take notes. Suddenly the door closed tightly and everyone sat a little scared.
A very good-looking man came in, tall, thin and dressed completely in black, I honestly he caused you curiosity why for some reason you felt that you had seen him before.
Without seeing the class began to write on the board quickly "I am Professor Tom Hiddleston and I will teach the subject of Thermodynamics" His voice was strong and deep and you immediately recognized it. You frowned when you remembered last year's science fair, you won first place in the area of electromagnetism prototypes against a fourth-year kid, which made you feel completely proud, yet two of the judges had not been what we call nice to the two.
When you remembered Professor Hiddleston's deep look at you that day, the judges asked random questions to the fourth-year kid and you, but apparently your future thermodynamics teacher was one of those who enjoyed making students nervous with difficult questions. His sidekick on that occasion was your freshman professor, analytic geometry, Professor Scott Lawford a fucking genius, you had cried with his subject, but passed with an A +.
They both enjoyed seeing the nerves invading you and your opponent, whispering to each other with their answers. At one point Professor Hiddleston asked you and you remember perfectly well that when you finished speaking he only looked at you and smiled mockingly for then wrote something on his ballot. In the end you won by three points of the total vote and the fourth year boy, currently fifth, became your friend, both came to the same conclusion, the two teachers were crazy.
He began to write down on the board the evaluation and the issues that are always mentioned at the beginning of the year. For a moment you panicked when he wrote that one of the exams was oral, you could not imagine the martyrdom he would create just to get a passing grade.
He took 20 minutes to explain and let us out to start the next class with the course. When you came out unintentionally you stared at him while he was erasing the blackboard, but apparently your look was uncomfortable enough for him that for a second he turn and he stared at you, you rushed out of the classroom after that. When you told Jared about this future journey that you had to go through you felt immense despair, but then you remembered that, if you could the previous years with teachers equal or worse to him, this was only one step more.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The first three weeks of class were pretty normal, you made two more friends and breakfast in the cafeteria with Jared and Diane made you forget about the pressures of school, but just the moment you felt like you were fitting in perfectly with your new year, the thermodynamics class became strange.
The classes with Tom were very pleasant, he was kinder than his body language showed, only he was certainly of a very volatile character, there were days when he seemed angry and others when he seemed happy, it was weird, but it was even weirder that you were attracted to him.
Your previous class had lasted longer than expected and the teacher extended 5 minutes out of her time which translates into being late for thermodynamics. You panicked when you saw the locked door of the classroom, wondered if it was better not to enter the class and pretend a headache straight to the infirmary, but in the end you breathed for a second and you'd decided get ready to knock the door.
“Can I help you with something?"You had never noticed that he was quite tall, it was the first time you were quite close to him.
"Sorry my mechanics teacher accidentally spread...”
"You were able to leave her class to get to mine on time, don't you think?"His gaze was quite penetrating up close.
“I really sorry, won't happen again,” Your hands were shaking, but in reality, not for fear, but his presence so formal, so rigid and secure made you feel strangely attracted to him, when you thought that, you actually invaded the shame, how do you fall in love of a teacher as strange as him.
He just opened the door and walked aside to let you through. "I asked them to work in pairs, look for your partner and ask him to explain what I already explain”
On the board were written several formulas, you wondered how he managed in 7 minutes to score so much.
You asked several guys over there, but apparently the whole damn world already had a partner, in the end you decided to do it alone, you just hoped he wouldn't flunk you for it. A girl explained the instructions to you, apparently you had to pick up one of the sheets that the professor had placed on the desk and solve it with the formulas on the blackboard, you even had to sit up to the top rows because all the other seats were occupied.
You started cursing internally while taking one of the paper sheets from the desk. "Who are you going to work with?"The professor asked you without seeing you while making notes with a rather nice pen of Indian ink.
"I'll do it alone, I already asked ... ”
"Don't you understand what couples are?"He interrupted you and this time he gave you a rather intimidating gaze.
"Yes, but apparently all my companions already have one and I figured I could do it alone then" Your hands trembled again with the paper sheet between them.
"Who doesn't have a partner?"he looked back at his papers and yelled at the whole group. It was pretty funny for you because he himself proved you were right, no one was missing a partner. When he looked up and saw that no one answered he saw you again and then looked at the blackboard behind his back.
"Well, I'll do it with you then" He got up and brought a chair that was at the end of the living room for you right next to his desk.
For a moment you wanted to run out of there, you knew you shouldn't make a mistake or say something stupid because otherwise you'd die trying.
"Get your stuff and start working it out, just let me finish a few things. To be fair with your colleagues and with you I will let you do it alone and answer any doubts you have, because obviously I know how this is solved, but I also consider that it is a lot of work for one person, do you agree?" His gaze became a little kinder.
"Yes, thank you,” you smiled faintly, but felt an internal shock as he winked at you and continued to write with his fine pen. You sat right in the corner of his desk, they were just three problems but they really left you with little desire to live. The first one, you felt was quite easy to solve, even at one point you felt the professor's gaze on you when you were so focused on your operations.
"Don't you have any doubts?"His eyebrows were puckered and his gaze was no longer mocking but rather with bona fide interests.
"No, not really, well I go in the second exercise, possibly I do" You smiled as you watched your operations with inner pride.
"Can I see?"He extended his hand to give him the leaves you had carried until then. You gave them to him, just hoping he'd tell you you had everything terribly wrong.
As he watched your leaves you watched him, he was quite attractive now that you saw him without fear that he would not let you into class, his hair was dark and apparently a lover of black to wear, his eyes were cute and quite tender while they examined your answers.
"Go on, I don't want to confuse you” He put the paper sheets on the desk and saw you with a small smile on your lips as a sign that you were on the right track.
Just 10 minutes before the class ended you finished all three exercises, you had only asked him one question and it was about whether it was a 4 or a 9 in a formula that wrote the board, so you felt pretty happy that you did it alone.
"Ready" You smiled broadly, you were the first to finish and the only one who had done it alone.
"Are you sure?”
"Yeah, well, I hope it's not a 0 at the end of the day,” you laughed to yourself, and in the end you wondered if you had thought about it or said it.
”Then let's see " took his pen and began to review your work. You froze when you saw that he framed something in your results, but he didn't tell you anything. "Well, I really didn't expect less from the winner of last year's science fair, maybe punctuality, but what does it matter”
You smiled when you saw that your grade was an A, only that he kept the papers, apparently he had to register them on his lists or something. Just as you were about to get up to leave, he asked you to stay at the end of class.
You sat back in the seats vacated by the peers that have already gone, but for a second, remembered what you said I didn't expected less from the winner of the science fair last year, he remembered you, you know that he remembered you, sonreíste for yourself when thinking that.
When the whole room was half empty, he started putting away his things. ”Come with me, " he said as he walked out with a firm and fast pace, so much so that you had to walk faster than normal. You wondered where they were going, it was pretty strange since you'd never been through the labs where it went.
“I've noticed that you're pretty good in the area, actually amazing, I even remember your answers about your prototype against the fourth year kid, former student of mine, you were much better than his” he opened the door of one of the labs and with his arm gave you a signal to enter.
“Thank you, I actually always dreamed of doing this, " you said as you walked into the lab, quite big, you assumed they were the ones that grad boys used.
"I want to propose you something” You sat at one of the practice tables and he leaned with both hands on his desk. "Would you like to work with me on a project I have?, is related to thermodynamics”
For a second you saw him with an expression of if he was joking with you or if he was serious and he seemed to read your mind.
"It's seriously, I'm working on a model related to the second law" he approached you sitting in the chair in front of yours.
"I would love to then, but I do not know how I could be of help”
"In many things" he smiled
For a moment you wondered why suddenly the man who seemed bitter about life was being so kind to you.
“You do not have to tell me your answer now, I will send you the files I have of my progress by mail if you like and you could think about it”
"Sure, I will" You smiled and he too, for a moment everything was silent, somewhat uncomfortable to be honest but his look no longer caused you fear, but somehow attracted you to him.
It was quite strange because they both got up at the same time so you were right next to him and his height difference was no small one.
"Well I think I have to go, I'll see you the next class”
"Wait, I wanted to give you something that I kept here," he went to the back cellar of the lab and came back with a bun that said first place. "I'm sorry, I was supposed to give it to you that day you won, but I honestly didn't remember where I left it, so this belongs to you.”
When you saw the bun with your name on it, you were very happy. "I thought they didn't give anything," you laughed as you put it in your backpack.
"Yeah, excuse me, I tend to be a little clueless about those things.”
"No problem," you smiled and shyly walked out of the room.
The weekend you started to question why Professor Hiddleston made you feel so nervous, now you knew that you were one of his star students, to the degree that you could be his future colleague, but why couldn't you even hold his gaze? you know, for a moment you thought about flatly refusing his project if you couldn't even see it in the eyes, but after you thought about it, you figured it would possibly be a good idea, you could even learn more things by being his apprentice.
It was Monday's class, you didn't know why, but you were in the lab on Friday, apparently you were doing an experiment on the tables with some microscopes on. ”You did it " There was Professor Hiddleston next to you, his command was on your waist and suddenly he began to approach you to kiss you on the lips and it was even stranger because it was quite nice for you, to reciprocate.
Right then you woke up, you're fucking in love with your thermodynamics professor, "Excellent Y / N, that's all that was missing."
Monday's class didn't even look him in the eye and you sat up to the top rows, you felt pretty uncomfortable with yourself thinking of a teacher that way.
"Y / N wait" Just when class ended you rushed to pack your things and run out of the classroom, but it still didn't work. "Did you think about what I told you?"The professor actually looked pretty excited about his own project.
"Yes, I just wondered if the meetings or the times we work could be on Fridays, that would make things a lot easier for me" You said without seeing the professor in the eyes, it was somewhat uncomfortable after that strange dream of the weekend.
"Sure, then it's a deal,” he held out his hand as if they were going to close the deal with a strong squeeze.
"Deal" You shook his hand and when you saw him you felt that his look was not only kind, but he was actually trying to tell you something.
The classes went on normally, you felt a little excited being sincere that you went to work with the professor who was now at the same time your impossible love, but you had to be careful for him not to notice. They agreed to meet after your last class at the lab on Fridays, at 15:00 hours. You knew it wasn't right, but from the moment you were attracted to the professor every time you saw him, you started using lip gloss and curling your hair.
For several weeks they worked on their project, now you understood their sudden mood swings, it was quite frustrating to feel that you had advanced in something and then realized that something did not fit with the rest of the procedure.
One Friday when you arrived he was making notes on the blackboard, had taken off his coat and tie and folded the sleeves of his shirt in a way that looked spectacularly attractive.
"Y / N pass," he smiled when he saw you in the driveway. "Did you read the documents I sent you?"On Wednesday he sent you a very interesting document about some theories related to the project.
"Yes, I just made some notes from some parts that I honestly didn't understand" You left your backpack in one of the buckets at the ends of the room " I'm not very good at some things”
"Neither do I, but don't worry,” he winked at you and you felt like you were melting internally.
For an hour they tried to solve one of the most difficult equations within the theory they chose, it was quite fun as sometimes you would collapse and sometimes he, but both tried to cheer up so as not to erase the whole slate of despair.
”Ready," you said when you finally managed to solve the equation.
”You did it!" saw the board quite surprised and so did you. "Your boyfriend is lucky" For a second he himself kept quiet knowing that the last thing he said wasn't quite right.
"Boyfriend? that species is extinct within my social radar" You laughed trying to keep him from feeling uncomfortable.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean that." He saw you trying to analyze your expression.
"Well sometimes the unconscious makes us a bad move" You smiled broadly "besides I guess the lucky one is his girlfriend" you returned the same move trying to tempt the ground.
"It's also an extinct species to me," he smiled, but he avoid your gaze.
"Well, then we're free to go looking for it.”
"I thought you had a boyfriend," he said as he started writing the equation on the board on the computer.
"Why?"you sat at the desk, watching him write on the computer quite nervous.
"Nothing else" You knew he was lying to you.
"Nothing else?”
"Well you're a very cute and smart girl, I figured a lot of guys are interested in you.” He didn't even look you in the eye when he said that.
”I'm not really interested in anyone" You saw through the window as you answered" well, only in someone, but it's impossible” Oh God, now the unconscious had made the wrong move to you talking too much.
”Nothing is impossible" he looked up and seemed to know what you meant.
"Well, it's just that if I just had a sign I could know it's not impossible" You started fiddling with your wrist bracelet nervously.
"How what a sign?" he stopped writing and stood right in front of you, you were still sitting at the desk.
"I don't know" You felt the adrenaline start to accelerate your pulse as it approached you.
"A date, a kiss, or even invite you to work on a project?" He placed his hands on the edge of the desk rubbing your legs.
”Yes, that sounds good " Clearly you knew what he meant, his look and yours were fixed, you appreciated that the door was closed and it was the third level, the windows were facing nowhere, so no one could see what was happening.
"Well sometimes it is necessary that you also give signals, don't you think?" His gaze and yours really seemed to be completely fixed.
"Yeah, that sounds fair." You started breathing deeper.
Slowly, he tempting the ground, began to approach, for a moment you knew that this was not right, that it was not right, but fuck, your body wanted it as you have no idea. Slowly he started to kiss you, he was nice and actually a very good kisser, then he started to get a little rougher, but both you and he knew you wanted him, his arm held your hip and your hands hugged his neck holding on to him.
"Dr. Hiddleston, I bring the copies you ordered." Someone knocked on the door and immediately the feeling of running out overwhelmed you.
"Sure, I'm coming" saw you and he wiped the lip gloss you had left on him. You packed your stuff fast and when I was going to close the door again you walked out without seeing him in the face.
"Until Monday" You started walking fast.
"Y / N wait" was the last thing you heard when you started going down the stairs two at a time.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You, Diane and Jared planned to go out that weekend, you weren't feeling well, but you also didn't want to leave them after you had planned this for days.
"Hey, you look pale," Jared saw you worried as they waited for food at the mall.
"Do you feel well Y/N?" Diane picked up a lock of your hair as you looked at nothingness.
”I'm a little worried," you said looking at the table now  "Can I ask for some advice?”
”You know you can Y/N" Jared saw you even more worried.
"What should I do if I like someone I shouldn't like?" Dress up Jared.
"Does he have a girlfriend or is he a fuck boy?" Diane asked pretty quickly.
"None, it's just...”
”Then I see no reason why you shouldn't like it."
”It's not that, but, he's like, I don't know how to say this" You didn't want to tell them that he was your thermodynamics professor, you would never actually do it. "I met him some time ago in the cinema, he's cute and kind to me, but he's older than me” you lied a little about it.
"How much are we talking about?”
"14 years, I think" you've never actually asked him about his age, but on one occasion while you were typing on his computer you saw his college professor card that had all his data on it by the way.
”Look at that, my best friend a whole league men" Diane actually got excited, started asking you what he was like and if you had already had something with him which was pretty strange, but Jared's expression wasn't really emotional.
"I can only tell you to be very careful Y/N" Jared took your hand " Do not let the pretty words lead you down a path other than the one you seek. And well, if he like you and you like him, I see no problem”
The weekend you thought about the kiss his gave, it was quite nice really nice, you had only had three boyfriends before and honestly their kiss had been better than all the previous ones. The problem was what were you going to do on Monday when you see him? Well that day you decided to wear a pink dress that your mother given you at Christmas, you never wore this type of clothes so it was going to be something quite new, you combed your hair differently even, you knew that if you were at least going to talk to him and he told you that it was a mistake he would miss something great.
Your legs started shaking when you walked into the classsroom, you sat as usual in the third row, Tom wasn't there yet, so that calmed you down a little more. You noticed that in this class you had not made friends, so to avoid the panic of seeing him in the eyes when he entered in the classroom you preferred to start talking to the girl who always sat next to you.
"He took a while, didn't it?" you smiled so you didn't look crazy.
"Yes something, but for me no problem" the girl smiled as well
"My name is Y / N, and you?”
"Meghan, you're going with the teacher Fox in relativity, aren't you?”
"Yeah, you too?”
"No but my boyfriend does, I've seen you come out of there when I expect it”
"Well, I don't really know many people.”
"Well, college is exhausting," they both smiled, actually Meghan seemed like a pretty nice girl.
"Speaking of the king of Rome, he's arrive." When she said that and you heard the door shut, fear invaded you, so you didn't look at him. You just focused on your computer monitor, but you knew he saw you.
The class felt as if it had lasted 20 minutes and not an hour and a half, the desire to leave was enough.
"Hey if you want we could have breakfast together today, apparently you don't have class now either, do you?" Meghan waited for you to put your things away.
"Of course I would love to and no, I don't have class” You fully appreciated that Meghan will not leave you in the classroom, without looking at Tom you went out with your new friend, you felt that had been a bit cruel, but the nerves were worse.
At the end of the day you didn't do anything about it and neither did Wednesday and apparently Tom wasn't interested in asking you to stay and talk either, or so it seemed.
On Friday you returned to the usual routine with the usual clothes and hairstyle, honestly you no longer felt in the mood to waste time on those things. The class went on normally until at one point you crossed eyes with him, it was a bit strange, but you pretended you didn't care and ignored him after a few seconds. At the same time in the classes you talked with Meghan, even going out to eat the cafeteria.
"Y/N can we talk for a second?"Back to being alone with him in the classroom at the end, Meghan said goodbye and whispered you in your ear that she will waiting for you in the cafeteria.
"Hey I didn't want to overdo you, let alone bother you, I apologize for it and also if you no longer want to work on the project I will fully understand it” His face seemed that he was really sorry about last week.
"I really don't know what to say." You were completely honest.
"I'm sorry I should have known that you're not interested in me at all and it's okay”
"I never said I wasn't interested”
He calmly checked the hallway and closed the classroom door
"You ran away, that tells me otherwise”
"Yes, but that's was I panicked, I didn't want to bother you”
"For God's sake, that doesn't matter anymore.”
"It does matter and quite”
"You want to talk about this then?”
"Yeah, I'm sorry I didn't do it sooner”
"So am I, excuse me too” he hesitated for a second when he finally asked," Do you want to continue with the project?”
"Of course I do" You got a little closer to him.
"See you at 15: 00 then" He too approached and carefully kissed your hand to leave the classroom.
This time you arrived early, your teacher had let them out forty minutes earlier, so you decided to be somewhat punctual to your appointment. You read while you waited sitting on the chairs in the hallway, when you saw him come you smiled and he when saw you, smiled too.
"I'm sorry, I didn't think you were going to arrive so early” he closed the door carefully and just as he turned around you gave him a pretty long kiss and he reciprocated broadly.
"I'm sorry" You saw that he was actually happy about it "I think last time we couldn't finish it"
He held your face in his hands for a few seconds "I like you Y/N, I know what's not right, I know this not right, but fuck, I like you a lot”
”And you me" He kissed you again, this time a little rough, it seemed that he wanted to make his statement clear. ”I really wanted to kiss you in front of everybody on Monday in that cute dress."
"If you like it I can bring it more days," you winked.
After that day working on the project was much more fun, and even in the classes they shared gazes from time to time, it felt good, had passed enough time that you did not date someone. On the other hand, sometimes fear invaded you, you knew that if anyone found out about whatever it was you and Tom had, it was the end of your scholarship and even your college life.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Do you like lobster?"He asked you while making notes on the computer and you cleaned the board.
"I've never eaten it"
“What? How can you live without eating lobster in your life?" He came up to you and, holding you by the waist, turned you towards him.
"Well, we're not all millionaires so I can't buy lobster." You inadvertently smeared chalk in his hair when you touched him.
"Then I'll buy you lobster dinner. What do you say?" He caressed your face as he waited for your answer
"Mmmm, when?”
"Tomorrow, I'd wait a few blocks from here, you don't want anyone to see you getting in my car, do you?”
"I'd love for them to, but yes, send me the instructions and I'll see you there then.”
"Why would you love it?"He kissed your neck calmly.
"That they might see that you are mine" You smiled mockingly.
"Well, I mean you're mine too, so it would be a fair deal.”
For weeks now both were texting, it was interesting to see that teachers also have a life apart from teaching.
You dressed up, not so formal or so casual for the occasion, it was the first date you had, it felt a little strange, you wore on a low-cut black dress, something daring for your tastes, but it was the most suitable thing you found. When you arrived at the rendezvous point, you immediately identified his car.
“I can't believe how perfect you are, " he gave you a sweet kiss while you fixed your skirt so it wouldn't wrinkle. He came as always very formal.
The dinner was perfect, you did not know that the lobster tasted that way, you liked it a lot, the place was beautiful, the waiters very attentive and well, talking with Tom about things that were not thermodynamics was pleasant. In the end he invited you to his apartment, which you sincerely hoped was not just with the intention of kissing you.
When they arrived his apartment looked like a palace, it was very nice, very cozy, his kitchen was comfortable enough to cook anything, your apartment was too small for a kitchen like him.
He told you that he should make some calls, that you could explore the house if you wanted and you took his word, it was very nice place, in the hallway to the bedroom had his medals and recognitions, you did not know that he studied chemistry too, he's a genius. When you finished walking, you looked in the fridge for something to drink.
"Want some wine?"Because of its height it was much easier to reach the shelves above where it seemed to have the bottles of wine.
”I would love to"
He served two glasses in half, it was red wine with a very good smell, you knew it because your father was a wine lover, so much so that he had even taken you to vineyards to see how they did it.
"May I?"You asked, pointing out if you could play something on the record player in the room.
“Clear”
When yo put the pen on the record a fairly quiet song began to play, he took the cup out of your hand and put it on the ledge next to his, placed his hand on your waist and with the other he held your hand, you placed yours on his neck.
“Would you laugh if I told you it's the first time I've danced with someone? well, that someone who is not my father invites me to dance”
"Really?”
"Yeah, well I had a boyfriend that I took out to dance, that's why it doesn't count,” you laughed as you remembered that.
"Well, what an idiot, you are beautiful Y/N and I will dance with you as many times as possible”
You felt a lot of peace in his arms, he was much stronger than you, that was clear, but even just seeing him in the eyes you felt that everything was going to be okay. You weren't very good at dancing, but he gave you the confidence to even make a mistake.
For a moment he began to kiss you slowly, slowly while the music echoed to both of us, then he began to kiss your neck which in a way tickled you, but at the same time made you want it with all your soul. After a few seconds as his hands ran through your hips and yours his hair whispered into his ear: "Take me to the bedroom" you stared at him and he understood completely.
He carried you so easily that it seemed that you did not weigh anything, carefully put you in bed and wait for you reaction.
"For God's sake, I want to make you mine from the moment I saw you at that fucking science fair contest.”
"Well now is your time" You bit your lip slightly.
He knew you were too small in comparison to him, so he was very careful when touch you, first he started by your dress, very slowly unbuttoning it. He look you in your underwear the moment he managed to take it off you. On the other hand, you, in a somewhat desperate way, started to take off his belt.
"No, until I say so" Their gaze turned a bit dark, they could see the desire for each other in your eyes.
He started kissing your crotch carefully, you moaned slightly, you had no intimate contact with anyone for a long time, so you somehow didn't remember how glorious this feels. He kept kissing getting closer to your entrance, the heat began to flood your body, after walking your thighs he began to lick your entrance a little desperate, but at the same time touching the exact points to make you see stars. He put two fingers inside you and immediately your back curled, when he entered the third in you pulled his hair as you began to feel the heat in your stomach increase more and more.
”Tom, please, I'm almost there" you moaned as your eyesight began to blur completely.
His fingers began to move faster and for an instant you felt like the heat flooded your whole body, it was the first time that someone managed to make you come with oral sex. You pulled his hair back, but it didn't seem to bother him, even taking it as a way to know where or not to continue. Your legs clenched at the feeling and he proudly began to undress. When you saw it you felt that you really needed to have he inside you, his axis was quite large, more than you imagined and its well worked body made you feel needed.
"Fuck me like there's no tomorrow," you whispered as you recovered from the first round.
You felt the desire going between your legs, again you were so wet just to imagine he inside you.
"You know that if I hurt you or if you want me to stop I will do it immediately” He placed on you and spread your legs with his knee.
You just nodded, he was staring at you as he began to insert his shaft into you, it hurt a bit, tears started running down your cheeks and Tom's face looked worried, "Do you want me to stop?”
"No!" To drown the groans you hid your face on his shoulder as he began to take a rhythm in his onslaught, at one point the pain ceased and he took a stronger rhythm, one after another, you felt as your body began to attach quite well to its axis, to the degree that you glued more your hips to his, demanding more. When he noticed it one of his hands took the headboard and with the other placed one of your legs on his shoulder to give you what you needed. At some point he also started moaning, loud and deep, which made you feel even more excited in the middle of it all.
”Fuck, why are you so perfect?" he whispered into your ear as you began to feel your orgasm was about to bloom.
"Make me yours, only yours" you moaned almost without strength.
"You are only mine" His onslaught, although it seemed that you could not, began to be faster and deeper, you knew that sitting was going to be a challenge for you in the following days.
To drown your groans he gave you a very deep kiss, his tongue did all the work in the kiss, honestly for you it was a sea of sensations that would end you unconscious of pleasure. Just as they both reached the climax he saw you in the eyes and felt you fade away in sobs and moans.
”I'm almost there" he said as he clung even more to you and your legs began to close with pleasure.
"Me too" Didn't know if you understood what you meant, but at least you were trying.
"Let me feel you" His words were your release and his, you felt the heat of his seed inside you and it was enough for your orgasm to reach the necessary point of feeling a deep warmth throughout your body. The veins on her neck were too marked and you could also feel her breathing so heavy as she enjoyed her release.
He was over you for several minutes, the only thing you could hear in the room was his busy, deep breaths. You hugged him fondly and he hugged you, when he came out of you you felt a pretty weird void, but fuck, it was the best sex you'd ever had in your life.
After his breaths managed to take a moderate course he saw you in the eyes as he groomed your hair carefully.
”I didn't want to be too brusque the first time" His hand caressed your stomach, internally you told yourself that if this was not brusque you didn't imagine the next time how sore you would end up, but it's something that really excited you, in every way.
"We'll have many more times to do it" You smiled and planted a kiss on his lips. "Many more" smiled in the middle of the kiss which made you adore him even more.
Thanks for readign me

The Life of a BS Psychology Student: How Online Classes Affect My Mental Health Are online classes more effective? It’s been a few years since the COVID-19 outbreak. Are we really satisfied with this setup? The mere fact that we are all affected and try to cope up but do we all have the same state and capacities? We, students were like appointed and left with no choice but to participate in this kind of setup for the fear of being left behind. Are we really learning? Do you feel like just being obliged to pass the assignments before the deadline?
At first, online classes were comfortable and convenient. However, in the long run, students, parents, and even professors and teachers, have realised the challenges of online classes, especially on one’s mental health. I sometimes wonder how sitting in front of a computer drains you mentally and how learning new information becomes challenging. Admit it or not, the traditional classroom setup is also another way of escaping a messy home. But since a pandemic has arisen, separating home life and class time has become impossible. Loads of school work in sync with household responsibility and personal issues, which makes me feel pressure, stress, and anxiety. I still remember how I cried when we had a quiz because I didn't really understand our lesson about it. I still remember how I decided to stay away from my friends and social media, which helped me to be at peace for the moment. But at the end of the day, I was still able to help myself.
According to research, while there are huge benefits to e-learning, the sudden change from physical to virtual study may have an impact on students' learning. Students become demotivated due to the lack of engagement. When students are isolated to their houses, they do not have access to a regulated learning environment. This throws off their usual learning habits, leaving them exhausted and disoriented. Students do not feel encouraged to accomplish activities when they are not surrounded by their peers.
Do you hold such high expectations for yourself that your brain freezes up? Do you procrastinate so much that you end up cramming and studying the night before? Well, you are not alone. There’s a lot of coping strategies to help you cope with stress and take care of your mental health.
First, you can use Emotion-focused coping skills. You can exercise, take a good and a long nice bath, and give yourself a pep talk while looking in the mirror so you can focus more on your emotions. List or write a journal to talk how your day went, and lastly meditate. These are the things and activities you can do to cope and focus on your emotions.
Second, Problem-focused coping skills. Work on your managing time, ask for support if you can’t handle it alone, there’s always someone that’s willing to help you. Establish healthy boundaries for yourself. Do your hobbies that you haven’t done lately since you’re so busy like reading books, crocheting, crossword puzzles, music, movies and more. Taking your mind off the problem for a while can help you treat yourself a reward and give yourself a break for everything.
Online learning, like any educational approach, has its own set of advantages and disadvantages. Understanding and recognizing these positives and negatives would assist colleges in developing techniques for more effectively delivering classes and ensuring that students have a continuous learning strategy. Although many people still believe that traditional classrooms are the greatest way to study, online classes have shown to be a great alternative to the conventional classes in this technological era.
One of the biggest advantages of online learning, in my opinion, is its accessibility. Students may learn from the comfort of their own homes with an online class system. Students can attend or review classes whenever they want because most of them are recorded.
Many schools, institutes, and colleges now offer free online classes. As a result, online lessons are beneficial to students who previously were unable to pay for university. Moreover, because you can learn from anywhere, there are no transportation or commuting charges. This can help you save money, especially if you're on a limited budget.
Students, on the other hand, learn how to make friends at school or in a traditional class system, how to interact with teachers and peers, and how to deal with disappointment, among other things. Traditional classrooms can be used to do the majority of the work regarding students' personality development. All of them are eliminated from online classes. Online learning cannot offer face to face interactions which are very important for personality development.
The online learning method can also be difficult for certain people, particularly elderly instructors, who are unfamiliar with how to use technological devices. Teachers must have a basic understanding of how to use digital modes of education in order to teach online.
Another major issue with online classes is the lack of internet access. If you do not have excellent internet access on your phone or computer, you may miss a lot of critical information due to delays. Parents must also pay money on a monthly or yearly basis for a reliable internet connection, which is a disadvantage for poor and middle-class families.
To students that are suffering or experiencing stress and pressure from their academics, here is some of my advice that can help you to deal with your academic stress.
First things first, you must have Time management. Make a todo list, Plan out your day, minute-by-minute. With a clear view of your schedule, you will feel more in control which will allow you to approach your tasks calmly and confidently. Another one is Ask For Help and Move On. When you find yourself stressing over a seemingly impossible problem, text a friend or any person you think that can help you with your problem. Then move on to other tasks. Don’t spend hours focusing on this problem, however significant it may seem to be at the time. Wasted time will slow you down, and you will be emotionally drained when preparing to shift your focus to your other remaining tasks. The next one is, Put time for yourself and Do Exercise. Experts say that everyone needs at least a half hour of exercise each day. Not only does exercise help you with restful sleep but exercise also boosts endorphins, which in turn, make you more happy and less anxious. Another one. Eat healthy foods. While you may be tempted to reach for that delicious French Fries. Choose healthy food and the right foods in your body. It will help you to boost your energy and thereby give you the stamina you need to get your work done. Foods with high fat and sugar contents can make you feel sluggish and unmotivated to complete your tasks. Focus on fruits, veggies, and other high-fibre foods for sustained energy, and combine protein with carbohydrates to avoid a “crash”. And lastly Get More Restful Sleep, Especially If You Can’t Get More Hours of Sleep. Obviously, you won’t be able to focus or work your best without a good night’s sleep. While I understand that sometimes sleep is the first thing to go when school work is piled high, there are a few tips to make the most of those precious hours of slumber. First, don’t do your work on your bed. It will lead to an association between your bed and your work, which will make it harder for you to fall asleep. Do the homework that does not require screen time last. Exposure to screens before bed has been proven to decrease quality of sleep. If you find yourself worrying while you are trying to snooze, try clenching each muscle in your body starting with your feet, until you clench your entire body. Then release. This relief will make your body feel de-stressed and will allow you to fall asleep faster.
The academic setting amidst the pandemic reminds and makes us realise so many things. We got to know what we must let be and not. Sometimes reflecting on ourselves is a precious time for us to think conscientiously of what we would do and must not do next.
“Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear.”

Ok so I don’t normally do reaction posts but it’s right at the beginning and Ik I’m not gonna remember the thoughts I have later so here it goes:
‘She preferred to learn from people and stories and experiences than to learn from books and classrooms’
Sorry I honestly love this. I have a neurodivergent brother who really struggles in the classroom etc and the fact that you’re making ur characters relatable and the idea that the classroom just doesn’t work for some most people I love it
‘Common sign of a heart attack…’
What the hell???? You cant do this to Jace!!! Not after everything!! You can’t do it to Alec! He can’t lose his parabatai! He’ll blame himself - he’ll blame himself for leading them out of idris you can’t hurt my baby like that! And clary and the girls no no no they don’t deserve this pain 😭😭😭
‘“Lexi,” he whispered back. “I… I am scared.”’
Jace being vulnerable to with his daughter 😭😭 Lexi reassuring him 😭😭 child looking after the parent 😭😭 it’s heartbreaking yet beautiful at the same time and I love it
-and also hate it
‘“Gigi?” She called out; her voice hoarse. “Gigi, is that you?”’
ARGHRHHRH
oh my gosh. You did the thing. The parabatai thing.
Alec, Alec is that you?
Will, Will is that you?
I think there are others but I can’t remember them rn but ahhhhh 😭😭😭 I’m dying it’s adorable thank you
‘You’re not just my friend. You are my family’
Well this is adorable.
One of the things I love abt TSC is that family is never defined by blood. Clary’s blood was never her family, and Jace’s family wasn’t his blood. The institute kids weren’t related at all but they were like a family. Same goes with Malec and emma and the blackthorns. It just reinforces the narrative that you’re not defined by your blood, your past. You can find your real family when your blood fails you. Thank you for continuing this cycle with David and the Herondales. It’s poetic
THEY GAVE HIM THE INSTITUTE!!!
Well this just promotes what I said before doenst it? Institutes traditionally ran in families and then giving David the institute just shows him how much he means to them and is a part of their family! But also they must be really tired and I’m worried about them.
Oh he literally said they’re passed down within families 😂😂 I predicted it! Ha
My hands smell of dog ugh-
‘Muggles’
😂 speaking in a language she’ll understand I see
‘I just assumed he was super into avatar cosplay’
🤣 No seriously that’s hilarious. The strange things mundanes come up with to deny the shadow world
‘Rafael smiled and took out a dagger and held out his palm’
Honestly I don’t know why I’m surprised that’s such a shadowhunter thing to do I think I just watch way too much greys anatomy and expect them to do it the normal way 😂😆
Now honestly regardless of whether they can use mundane medicine or no it just seems like Anjali’s beyond help. It seems incurable. It seems like she is dying. And that’s just not ok, but I really don’t know how they can help her, or even if they manage to stop the illnesses, she won’t have that long. It’s too cruel
‘Alec didn’t know where he had come wrong’
This is really interesting actually, because I think teenagers are all ready to blame the parents, acting like they’ve ruined their lives and never get it right. But really parents are just people who are worried about their kids, and tend to know better. Some parents are absolutely shitty, but most just want to do what’s best, even if they don’t go abt it the right way. I think teenagers need to cut parents a bit of slack tbh - I say this knowing that my parents are a pain in the arse sometimes but Ik they mean well
Lilies are white
Shadowhunters wear white to funerals
They’re buried in white
David is dead
How
He cut his hair for Max
All of this was going to happen
Jace gave him the sword
They gave him the institute
I can’t
YOU BROKE ME IT’S 10:40 AND I HAVE SCHOOL TOMORROW AND DAVID IS DEAD HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO FUNCTION
i can’t I’m sorry this has destroyed me
I can write you a letter to take the day off :(

hey! my bro and I are in a run & I got hit with this idea! So whaT if while Aketchi was playing good against his better judgment he started falling for kind/sweet!reader, & they seem the most hurt by his outburst/transformation - & when they reach out for him like a hug or something he hurts them really bad and snaps out of it to cry over her and confesses all sad & she’s not dead but weakly tells him that he doesn’t need shido cause he’s precious or whatever to her?
Hello Anon!! I had to read this about four times to get the gist of what you were saying but I think I understood. Akechi angst is good for the soul, I swear!
Trigger Warning: Blood ;; Injuries ;; Violence ;; Swearing
- Nexus.
Blooming Villain | Goro Akechi
Kindness was a foreign concept to Goro Akechi. He held his true personality away from the masses under the mantra of ‘ the world cannot be hate you if the world does not know you ’. Suppressing his inner rage & turmoil led to him manifesting a second Persona with the God given gift to make a heart psychotic.
With this, he plunged the world into chaos. They would finally understand the circumstances he was forced into. How sick people made him with their petulant bullshit. How much he despised Masiyoshi Shido. Akechi was the puppeteer, everyone else the puppets.
Until the Phantom Thieves began to make a display. Harpering on about bringing criminals to justice & how evildoers would be punished. Once he ascertained their identities, they would be torn to shreds, crippled by their own mistakes. That criminal trash Akira Kurusu & his band of motley do-gooders were nothing to fret about. It was simple: Laying the blame on them. He dismantled their foundations at the roots by killing off the leader, leaving the rest to scatter in fear of their lives.
Call it detective’s intuition but something was off as he began to piece the puzzle together: It was the bug planted on his phone that finally tipped him off. Everyone had known from the beginning, even if they acted so nonchalantly towards him. If they had listened in on his phone conversations, then they knew about Shido and the manifestation of his distorted desires.
So he waited. Waited for the Phantom Thieves.
The confrontation came on the afternoon of December 15th. It was a grey morning, rimed with frost & dark clouds on the horizon. Entering the Metaverse in his detective prince outfit was jarring but he paid no mind. Akechi watched as they solved the puzzles, obtaining the Letters of Recommendation until they reached the final room.
Engaging them with the princely facade & the psychotic shadows, he was quickly defeated. As to be expected. They began to spout their trash about teaming up, working together, overturning fate by working together. The same petulant bullshit everyone had given him.
Screaming at them to shut up, his transformation began. Akechi had to be stronger than them. No, he was. Loki began to manifest & they all watched in varied states of horror as his true mask began to unveil itself.
Individually, they were easily crushed. Much like ants. However, it was a colony of ants that worked together. Bringing each other back up when one was knocked down. He had almost managed to kill Joker, until one of his pathetic teammates threw themselves in the way. Despite the power he carried as a Wild Card, he was eventually defeated.
Frustrated would never be able to convey anything Akechi was feeling as the last of his energy sapped away. Losing was never a possibility in his mind & the Desperation began to set in. Slaughtering them all would be what he achieved, no matter the cost to his body.
Still, he had lost. All of his ambitions began to crumble around him & he could feel his pulse counting down the seconds he had left to live. They were going to end it all here as his vision began to blur-
A figure stepped out of formation & began to approach. They were decked out in the same fancy garb as all the other Phantom Thieves but there was boldness to the way they moved.
After everything he had put into motion, all of the harm he had caused, she still reached for his hand as he knelt on the ground, his mask shattered. Pieces realigned in his memory. Akechi remembered her as she spoke:
“ Akechi, don’t you want to come with us? ”
It was her. The person he cared about in some sort of twisted sense.
The day they met was supposed to be average. Kosei High was an institution for the privileged, which was what made Akechi despise it so. Plastic smiles & easily hidden facades, no one ever had good intentions when they approached.
He had made a foolish error, losing some of the paperwork he needed for the latest case. It would not have him lose his job as it did not contain any confidential information but it would be tiresome to rewrite. As to not arouse suspicion, he carefully picked his way through the classroom, his body language rigorously casual.
Someone tapped him on the back & he whipped around.
“ You’re Akechi, right? Well, I found some of your detective stuff underneath the desk you sit at & you seemed kinda lost so I thought I’d return it, ” was all she said as a small stack of papers were offered to him. It was exactly what he was looking for.
Taking them into his arm to ensure nothing had been taken from him, he gave her a once-over. Donning the Kosei High uniform as any student would, she seemed mostly composed. Usually, the fangirls were the most distracting part of his career with all the harassment & questions that were slightly too inappropriate to answer but she seemed less bothered about who he was, instead ensuring that he obtained what had been previously lost.
“Ah, thank you. I had been looking for these. It wouldn’t look very good for a detective to lose their work, ” he replied, playing his role.
“ No worries about it, we all lose things sometimes! Anyway, I have to go now, lunch is starting soon. See you around. ” As quickly as the conversation began, it had ended & Akechi was genuinely baffled.
There was one thing he had gleaned from that interaction: Her smile was genuine. She had wanted to help him, in return for nothing.
Second meetings were uncommon but somehow it was possible.
One of the most common places for Akechi to eat lunch was the school rooftop. It was quiet during the winter & the sound of wind rushing through his ears was serene compared to anything the school had to offer. There was something softly screeching open & as he turned to face whoever it was, there was recognition from both of them.
“ Ah. Akechi. I’m really sorry if I’m interrupting something, I like to come up here whenever there’s too much noise, ” she clarified, making no move closer nor further.
“ You’re no trouble at all. I’m merely taking a break as well. ”
So she sat. They talked. It was never about anything important but it was therapeutic not having to regurgitate promises about the Phantom Thieves & serving justice. Eventually it became a somewhat regular routine, as whenever he attended school she was there waiting. This went on for a few months with them exchanging contact information to keep in touch, even when not in school.
Being in denial was not going to help him approach the situation. He liked her. She was counted among one of his very few friends & yet he longed. Ached. Every time she said something, he felt like a fool. Only through years of practise did he barely stutter. It felt both exhilarating & disgusting at the time. No matter. Puppy crushes were easy to smother out.
When he found out she was a Phantom Thief, he felt betrayed. Was he just a source of information to her?
Yet even in the Metaverse when Akechi was essentially blackmailing them, she was still as sweet as ever. Akira insisted on having the two of them in the front lines for almost the entirety of Sae’s Palace & although keeping pace was relatively easy { he had been through entire Palaces on his own }, she always made sure to check up on him whenever possible.
In the Safe Rooms when the Phantom Thieves were to take a break, she insisted on patching up his wounds & try as he might there was no refusing. Her touch was gentle, unlike anything else he had experienced. Even if she casted a healing spell such as Diaharan, there was something all too soothing about the way it helped. It made him want to throw up.
Irrationally, all of his mangled thoughts correlated together: She had betrayed him; She was the one who decided to side with the Phantom Thieves; She would be in the front lines of the battle. He never needed her petulant bullshit.
“ Shut up! I don’t need pity, especially from the likes of you. You’re the one who pretended to care, only to go behind my back & side with them. ”
Something about the way his sword slashed all the way across her body was far too easy. The fabric from her Phantom Thief outfit tore like paper & it was clear the protector underneath did not suffice, as she screamed in agony.
Akechi did not care. He never cared to begin with.
Then why did he catch her?
Watching her blood permeate his costume was worse than any physical pain he had ever experienced. The Phantom Thieves were staring and he almost collapsed from the raw shock. It was obvious she was trying to speak but all she could do was cough up blood.
Working quickly in a panicked haze, Akechi simply put pressure onto her wound. He did not know any healing skills, though he really wished he did right now. Curses mumbled out as a fresh emotion covered his rage, his contempt for those around him: Sorrow.
Someone touched his face & he whipped his head down.
“ I- I know you’re angry,” she uttered through gritted teeth, “ but you don’t have to be. You’re precious. Shido doesn’t need you, Goro. ”
Crying was a foreign concept to Goro Akechi.

*Severus Snape x OC*
Summary: It is the year 1983 when the ordinary life of Robin Mitchell takes a drastic turn: she is accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Despite the struggles of being a muggle-born in Slytherin, she soon discovers her passion for Potions, and even manages the impossible: gaining the favor of Severus Snape. Throughout the years, Robin finds that the not quite so ordinary Potions Professor goes from being a brooding stranger to being more than she had ever deemed possible. An ally, a mentor, a friend... and eventually, the person she loves the most. Through adventure, prophecies and the little struggles of daily life in a castle full of mysteries, Robin chooses a path for herself, an unlikely friendship blossoms into something more, and two people abandoned by the world can finally find a home.
General warnings: professor x student (however no underage romance), blood, violence, trauma, neglectful families, bullying, cursing

______________________________
The end of Robin's first year at Hogwarts had come sooner than expected. She had done fairly well in all of her exams, even defense against the dark arts, despite her previous concerns. After the incident in March, Professor Morgan actually had as good as ignored her for the remainder of the school year, and merely given her grades slightly worse than she believed she deserved. Nothing out of the ordinary, and the same could be said for the other subjects. She had made efforts however, since that night, to become better in charms, and it had paid off in terms of both grades and knowledge. It still hadn't sufficed to beat herbology, leave alone potions, but she felt comfortable with more spells than she had learned in class, and that ought to be enough.
Thus, when summer had finally forced Robin to return home to her parents' house, she had actually felt content with her overall progress of the past year, but also desperately ready for a break in all the learning.
That sentiment however had lasted for a mere week, and without the possibility to borrow books from her favorite potions professor, Robin soon had found the necessity to find other methods to keep herself busy, and distract herself from missing school. Those methods mainly had entailed sitting in on summer classes at the university her parents worked for, and while a twelve year old wasn't really the intended audience for any of those classes, Robin had been surprised to find that she actually had understood quite a lot of the entry level subjects. Thus her summer had been filled with classes on history, cultural studies and art –which had turned out to be more about architecture than about art after all– and she had learned a lot while yet being systematically excluded from everything not class related by both the regular students and the professors. Her parents hadn't been any better, as they had been working day in day out as always, ignoring her as always, saying "that's nice, sweetie" as always.
Only upon her return to Hogwarts for the beginning of her second year, Robin had actually felt like she belonged once more. Both the castle and the landscape gave her a feeling of finally being able to breathe again, after a long time of existing in a room with too little air. Sure, seeing her parents had been nice to some degree, but only at Hogwarts did she actually feel like a person of value again. At her parents house, she was an asset in a game that wasn't hers to play. At Hogwarts however she was Robin, and the master of her own fate. Even if to the others she was still the muggle born Slytherin who spent more time with her books than with her peers.
And just like that, she happily threw herself back into her classes and assignments, picking things right back up where she had left off last term.
The members of her study group started talking about their O.W.L.s and about fairly little else quite early on, and Robin soon found herself annoyed by them more than she appreciated their company. Thus she started to spend more and more time studying by herself instead, and eventually also eating by herself as well. Unlike last year, she actually didn't mind not having a permanent group, or anything that came even close to friendships. There was always someone she could sit with, should she choose to do so in the first place, even if that someone was only a brief acquaintance from one of her classes.
Her habit of borrowing books from Professor Snape had to her great luck survived the summer, and right after the first class of the term he had dropped a thick tome about preserving and properly storing different kinds of ingredients on her desk. Not the most interesting read, admittedly, but she would gladly take anything she got. It was still better than those books in the library that all basically said the same thing with different words. She found herself wondering more than once if perhaps they had all been writing by the same person, under different synonyms.
Thus for the following weeks in potions class, whenever they weren't actively brewing anything in particular, Robin would read in that book instead of listening to a lecture about some thing she'd known for half a year already, and to her surprise Professor Snape hadn't complained nor given her an odd look for it even once. Robin soon had realized that they might just have come to the silent agreement that she would learn more if she stuck to her books for now. Well, his books, but nobody needed to know about that. It was an unspoken agreement between them to keep this arrangement to themselves, as well as the quite good terms on which they were with each other at this point. Well, 'good' in Snape's terms at least, which meant that he mostly just let her be for the duration of class and she asked any questions she might have about her reads afterwards.
Eventually this habit, and this particular book especially, had led Robin to discover what she would put into the locket she had been wearing ever since the previous Christmas: a branch of dried dittany. Admittedly, fitting an entire branch into a locket of less than the size of her palm might have posed a problem, had Robin not done her research properly and come across a spell that allowed her to expand the space within the locket to a much greater size than the outside would let on. A simply extending charm, really, but very useful as she found. That only had left one issue remaining, and after having a frank conversation with Professor Sprout (whose favor Robin had gained last year by being the only Slytherin student who actually cared about herbology), Robin had been indeed allowed to take a branch of dittany from the greenhouse. In the week following upon that, she had carefully followed the instructions in the borrowed book and dried the plant while (hopefully) preserving all its qualities, therefore turning her nightstand into the best improvised laboratory she could manage.
At the end of her efforts, she'd actually been quite proud of the outcome, and that is exactly why she had kept the whole endeavour to herself and simply had gone back to wearing the locket every day like she used to, only that now it hid one of the finest healing plants the country had to offer. She'd have to see if she could get her hands on dried mandrake too, at some point. But for now, the dittany would do.
______________
The peace and quiet of her life at Hogwarts lasted for exactly two and a half months after term had started, right up to the point when Professor Morgan decided that it was time to mess with Robin once again. Honestly, while she hadn't really seen it coming this time either, she had indeed known that he eventually would start causing her problems again. And it just happened to be a lot sooner than she expected.
"Miss Mitchell!" His exaggeratedly cheerful voice brought Robin to an immediate halt, and an immediate spark of panic to her heart. It was Saturday night this time around, but yet again right after dinner and in the emptiest and dark hallway Hogwarts had to offer outside of the dungeons. Robin was spotting a scheme here.
"Professor Morgan…" Robin half sighed and half stated as she turned around to face the man in question. After over a year of having to listen to way too many girls fawning over him, she still couldn't understand how anyone could seriously and in good conscience consider this sleazy individual handsome.
"What a strange déjà vu to be having… Feels like it was ages ago that you messed up my classroom." He smiled innocently and shook his head to himself.
"Funny, to me it seems like just yesterday." Robin replied with the most neutral face she could manage.
"Ah, you and your… witty… remarks, how I have -not- missed those over the summer…" He sighed and raised his chin for a moment, peering down at her over the bottom rim of his reading glasses, which he wore only whenever he wanted to look particularly authoritative. Or that's what Robin thought, at least.
"What is it you would like from me this time, sir?" She asked as calmly as possible, while her hands were getting clammy again nonetheless and she had to resist the urge to wipe them on her trousers. That would've been a dead tell of her anxiety, and she didn't want him to see any of it at all.
"You will assist me in class on Monday. I will be demonstrating a spell that seeks out the other's deepest truths. Much like that famous potion, actually, what's it called again…"
"Veritaserum?" Robin suggested with a frown, keeping her face otherwise neutral while her anxiety went through the roof. He seriously wanted to force her to speak whatever truth in front of the entire class by using magic?! Was that even allowed?
"Exactly! However what I intend to show to the class is called legilimency."
"Never heard of it…"
"That is because it is not commonly taught at this institution."
At that, Robin's heart started beating even faster in nervousness. "But… then why would you teach it to us now, sir? And- and why do you need to demonstrate it on me, out of all people?"
Professor Morgan let out a small snort in return. "I'm not teaching it to you, don't be ridiculous… I'm merely using it to demonstrate something. And I chose you to demonstrate it on, because you are an obvious choice. You were so very intent on your honesty and truthfulness last year that I see no reason as for why it should bother you to speak the truth yet again."
"What if I don't want to assist you?" Robin asked quietly, with a lump in her throat that simply refused to be swallowed down, and her only hope was that the darkness of the hallway hid the fear in her eyes at least.
"Well, I would absolutely hate to force you to do it, Miss Mitchell, but I'm afraid you have no choice." He smiled sweetly, with just a touch of feigned sympathy. "Don't worry, it will be over in a blink."
"But-"
"You see, I told you about this beforehand because I came to realize that troublesome young children such as yourself need a role model for their actions, if we ever want something to become of them." He said with another self sufficient sigh, looking around the hallway as if dwelling in the righteousness of his own statement. "I believe one day in the very distant future you will thank me for every lesson I teach you now. So consider yourself lucky that I allow you to participate in this… lesson."
"Yes, sir." Robin gave back in a neutral tone, while her insides however were both on fire and frozen over at the same time. This was Morgan's late revenge for what had happened last term, it had to be… He'd waited until she felt safe, only to strike now. Petty move, honestly… and still Robin felt sick to the stomach.
"Very well!" Morgan was back to cheery. "I will see you in class on Monday. Have a lovely rest of the weekend." Without wasting another glance on her, he turned on his heel, clasped his hands behind his back nonchalantly and walked off into the direction of his classroom.
Robin however remained standing in her spot for a little while longer, heart beating frantically while a cold rush of adrenaline washed over her body in the most uncomfortable manner. Bloody hell, that man scared her more every time she had to interact with him, and it had only gotten exponentially worse since the detention incident. Tears started stinging in her eyes upon the mere thought of going to class on Monday, but she obviously didn't have much of a choice. Even if she found a reason to avoid class on Monday, he would just come at her with the same threat the next class or the one after that, and she couldn't avoid defense against the dark arts classes for the next five years to come. She also didn't want to, she actually liked the subject. It was only Morgan that she despised.
As the adrenaline slowly decreased and made room for rational thoughts once more, Robin also rediscovered her ability to move. Without even having to think about it, her feet carried her down to the dungeons and right to Professor Snape's office. Yet once she was about to knock on his door, her fist stilled mid-air as she finally paused to think. This wasn't a good idea… well, sure, he had told her to find him if she ran into any problems with Professor Morgan, but then again… she really didn't want a repetition of last time. More so for his sake than for her own. Also, she couldn't just come bursting into his office like the frightened idiot she was, hoping to be shown an easy way out of this the very second she asked for it. No, if she was to drag him into this again (and that was a big IF still) she better come to him with a plan already at hand.
Robin pulled her hand back and dropped it to her side with a sigh, then walked backwards until her back gently touched the cold wall on the opposite side of the hallway. What on earth was she even doing… She was a second year student, and Professor Morgan was… well, a professor. A bloody bad one, to her luck, but still… what kind of chance did she stand against him? Especially in regards to a spell that she hadn't even heard about, leave alone knew how to read up on if it wasn't something she was even supposed to learn about in the first place. She wasn't brave enough to go into the restricted section of the library, and the open one only had books appropriate for standard school topics. She couldn't refuse to partake, couldn't use any sort of shielding spell against him… Hell, if he'd just give her good old veritaserum, at least she would know what she was in for. There even were antidotes for that stuff! Actually… Morgan had said that the spell was rather similar to veritaserum. Robin crossed her arms over her chest and started pacing up and down the hallway, passing by the door again and again on each way.
Maybe… maybe she could make the antidote to veritaserum, and take it before class on Monday. Did that help against legi… what was it again? Gosh, she really couldn't concentrate whenever her anxiety got the better of her. And remembering technical terms wasn't all that high on her list of priorities when she was fighting with blind panic on the inside and not showing any of it on the outside. It was an unfair battle, really…
Antidote. Yes. It could work, it had to… it was the best plan she had. Again she walked by the office door, and right past it towards the end of the hallway yet again. How was she supposed to get the recipe for that antidote though? Or the necessary ingredients?! Making veritaserum itself was a rather advanced procedure, and even if Robin was far ahead of her class, she wasn't that good, not even close. The antidote would require even more precision and knowledge. Robin turned around once she reached the end of the hallway, and headed back into the opposite direction. She couldn't do it alone, couldn't do it at all maybe. But she also couldn't just sit by and do nothing while Professor Morgan would make her blurt out every secret she has ever had in class on Monday. Bloody hell…
"Will you stop pacing and come in already?" Snape's deep voice brought both Robin and her thoughts to a sudden halt. She froze in her step and finally lifted her gaze off the floor to see him standing in the doorway a mere two steps to her right, giving her that trademark pretending-to-be-annoyed frown.
Heat rose to Robin's face immediately, and she felt both embarrassed and relieved as he turned to the side to make room for her to enter.
"I'm sorry, sir, I just… I didn't want to bother you." Robin finally remembered to speak, as she sat down in the by now familiar chair across from his own.
"Now that you did, you might as well tell me the reason for it." He replied calmly as he took his own seat with an expectant expression. Robin held his gaze for a moment, then let her eyes wander around the room like she always did, until something caught her sight.
"The small jar with the green liquid in the third shelf from the bottom, second from the right… it stood on the second shelf from the bottom, last time I was here." She said quietly, before she could really convince herself not to. It was a stupid observation, without any meaning probably, but saying this was easier than answering his question.
Professor Snape's frown deepened as he followed Robin's line of sight, before it vanished and his eyebrows rose up high as ever. "It would indeed appear that it was… misplaced."
"Now or then?"
"Why are you here, Miss Mitchell?"
Robin looked down at her hands, as they were nervously fiddling with the edge of her grey jumper on their own accord. Darn it… she didn't even have any real reason to keep secrets from him anymore. He'd seen her cry, seen her desperate and seen her being a complete dunderhead. Snape was probably the only person in Hogwarts she had ever been entirely honest with in the first place, and when she thought about it, she had no intention to change that now.
With a still fragile certainty, she looked up to meet his eye again. "I'm here because I need the instructions for a potion."
His eyebrows lifted even higher, and he almost looked amused once again, but seeing as Robin herself didn't smile even remotely, the brief expression vanished in a blink. "Which potion?"
"The antidote for veritaserum."
"Why, pray tell, do you believe I would simply give it to you?"
"I do not."
"Then why are you here?"
"Because I had to try nonetheless." There was no insecurity in her voice, which surprised her a little, but it didn't come unappreciated. This was a serious matter to her, and he might as well know that. At least he hadn't straight up denied her request and thrown her out of the office already.
Instead his eyes narrowed and he sat up a little straighter as he seemed to grasp the gravity the issue held for Robin. "Why do you need that antidote so desperately that you risk asking for it so boldly?"
"Self-preservation." As he merely gave her a look in return, she added, "I was asked to assist in a class on Monday."
"And that justifies your request because…?"
"It's Professor Morgan's class." Robin's voice went down in volume by more than she intended, but she couldn't care less because Snape's face showed an immediate expression of understanding, then question, and irritation at last.
"I see. What did he say to you, exactly?" He asked a bit too darkly for it to be nonchalant or even neutral, and Robin felt an odd sense of relief to see him still disliking the defense against the dark arts professor as much as she did. She only could've hoped that he had not changed his mind since March, and obviously he hadn't. So far so good.
"He said he wants to demonstrate a spell on me that reveals my deepest truths, and that the spell reminded him of veritaserum. Well, actually, I suggested veritaserum as a comparison because he couldn't remember the name." Robin shrugged and Professor Snape rolled his eyes theatrically, but Robin got the impression that it wasn't directed at her as much as at Morgan.
"Did he say which spell?"
"He did, but…" Robin bit her bottom lip for a second, reminding herself that he had indeed seen her panic before and there was no reason to not tell him about another instance now. "He did say which spell, however I… was too busy not dying over anxiety to pick it up and remember what it's called exactly." The annoyance she had expected to see on his face didn't come, which pushed her to continue on. "But I remember that it's something that's not taught at Hogwarts. He doesn't want us to learn it, just… just demonstrate it himself for some reason. I believe it started with an I or an L… I'm sorry, sir, I honestly don't remember. I should have though, I know…"
Oddly enough, Snape's reaction still was none of annoyance, but he rather stared right past Robin, lost in thought. Had her information not been completely useless after all? Anyway, she almost felt calm now that she had opened up to him about the situation. At least she wasn't alone with it anymore; someone knew of her concerns and actually took them seriously. That was a huge step towards getting out of this entire thing relatively unharmed. Her heartbeat slowed down significantly, and she didn't feel sick anymore. Good… Now, that other jar also had-
"Miss Mitchell?"
"Huh?" Her eyes snapped back to her professor and her cheeks gained in colour once again. She really needed to stop zoning out whenever she was in his office… Snape however kindly ignored her flustering and went right on as if nothing had happened in the first place.
"Was what Professor Morgan mentioned by any chance titled 'legilimency'?"
"Yes!" She blurted right out, eyes widening a little in surprise that he had actually been able to make any use of her poor information. "Exactly that!" The look she received in return however made her wish she hadn't answered all that enthusiastically, as it sent a chill down her spine in an instant.
"Are you absolutely certain?"
"Yes, yes I am… Why? What kind of spell is that, professor? Why are you asking like that?" She asked in an almost insecure manner now, but didn't receive an answer as he got up and went to retrieve a book from one of the shelves in the far corner of the room. After flipping through the pages for a moment, he turned the open book around and handed it to Robin before moving to sit back down in his chair in silence.
Robin scanned the page to get the overall gist of it, and her eyes widened in sheer horror at every word she read. At last she placed the book on the desk between them and simply stared at Professor Snape in both shock and fear. Morgan wanted… and he really was forcing her to… no!
"That is why I'm asking like that." Snape sounded almost as displeased as Robin felt, even if he had no reason to in her eyes. She was glad that he shared the sentiment nonetheless.
"Can't… Is that… Is that even allowed?" Robin's voice was but a whisper, a plea almost to whoever would hear, to at least make this wrong.
"The use of veritaserum on students has… unfortunately been prohibited, however I'm not aware of any such rules regarding legilimency. As it seems, the ministry has as of yet turned a blind eye to it."
"And… and the headmaster?"
"Will hardly see a fault in a mere demonstration of the subject. He has always been quite… liberal."
Robin's face fell even more, and she stared down at the words on the page in front of her as they began swimming together slowly. Then however she frowned at a different issue. "Professor… It may be completely stupid of me to say, but… this spell does not sound like anything I know about veritaserum. I mean, sure, it both reveals the truth in a way, but if I understand correctly, this… is more than just a means to finding out the truth. It's a hellfire being compared to a match. Which leads me to believe that –and I do apologize for being so direct about this– Professor Morgan either has no idea about this spell, even though it falls into his supposed area of expertise, or he doesn't know a thing about even the most basic basics of potions."
"I'm led to believe that he isn't proficient in either." A small pause, and Robin managed a half smile at his fairly direct insult before he continued speaking. "And you are right, Miss Mitchell, legilimency has fairly little to do with veritaserum, or more precisely, nothing at all. Which is why I will not give you the instructions for the antidote."
While his words definitely made sense, Robin also felt her heart sinking and squeezing together painfully. It had been her only chance… or had it? Another idea sprung to her mind suddenly, and even though she knew that it was extremely inappropriate and straight out wrong, it was an idea born from desperation. "What if I poison him?"
Snape's expression did show a small but honest reaction upon her words, a mixture of astonishment and a hint of being impressed, but more words fell off Robin's lips before he could shut her up. "Maybe draught of living death, so that he doesn't show up to class until I graduate, or forgetfulness potion to make him forget that he ever asked me to do this, forced me to do this even, or a hate potion so he shows his TRUE self in front of the entire school, or-"
"That's quite enough, Miss Mitchell." He interrupted her with a scolding tone, and Robin sobered from her rant in but a second. Oh no… had she really just said all of that? Out loud?? To Professor Snape??? As he continued, his voice took on a more neutral tone again, but his eyes conveyed the same graveness nonetheless. "I'm giving five points to Slytherin, for your remarkable knowledge of admittedly rather suitable positions for the occasion. And I am giving you detention, for suggesting to poison a teacher."
"What?!"
"Come to my office first thing after breakfast tomorrow morning. You will be here the entire day, so don't expect to be indulging in any other… activities tomorrow."
"Tomorrow is Sunday." Robin frowned at him, and felt a little betrayed after all. She had a serious problem at hand and he was giving her detention?! However justified it was, for her impulsive blurt of a desperation born thoughts, she had hoped for a little more understanding at least. Also, there was no detention on Sundays. Usually.
"I'm well aware." He replied to her surprise, giving her another of those looks that said more than his words did. Only that this time Robin had no idea what exactly it was that it said. But she didn't question him, as much as she wanted to, for he wouldn't give a reply anyway. When Professor Snape demanded something to be done, it would be. That's just how things were, and Robin found herself admiring him for it even. He wore an armor of dangerous intensity for his daily robes, and it suited him better than anyone else.
"I'll be here, sir." She finally replied in a quiet voice, and her eyes went back to the book on the desk. Would he at least let her borrow it until Monday, so that she could prepare for what was coming her way?
As if he was reading her mind now indeed, he gave an answer to her internal question. "The book won't help you, Miss Mitchell, nor will any potion. I suggest you spend the night resting instead of pondering over either option."
"How did you know I would?" Robin asked with a half amused and half embarrassed huff. Did he actually read her mind? He probably did, and yet she had the sudden feeling that detention with Professor Snape wouldn't be all that horrible. Not for her, at least.
"Because I would. Given your point of view on this issue, it is the most sensible thing to do." He replied with a risen eyebrow and a pointed look. "However from my point of view, I strongly advise you to rest. You will fare better with energy rather than pointless knowledge in tomorrow's… detention."
Robin frowned at his cryptic statement, but he seemed rather unwilling to say any more on the issue and thus Robin took a deep breath before she went to reply in his trademark neutrality. "Very well. No books for me tonight, I'm going straight to bed. Would that be all, sir?"
"Careful, Mitchell. You wouldn't want to risk detention over your wit."
"I thought I already have detention, sir."
"Get. Out." He drawled in a low tone, and yet the not-smirk tugging on his lips didn't escape Robin's notice as she rose to her feet and walked to the door.
Somehow she felt better than she knew she should in the light of getting detention, leave alone what would be happening on Monday. But here she was, having to hide her smirk as she turned around to Snape once again. "Goodnight, professor. I'll be on time."
"You better be." He mused with another gaze louder than words. "Tomorrow."
As Robin closed the door behind herself and stepped into the dark hallway, turning into the direction of her dormitory, she allowed a small smile to grace her lips at last. Things still weren't exactly working out in her favor, but after talking to the quite possibly darkest person she had ever known, the world seemed an odd lot brighter nonetheless.

the yan teaches with a darling who’s an active delinquent ( possibly due to home abuse ). maybe even more infamous then da twins, perhaps reaching next-little-miss-red level? But it turns out the darling is super cute and mild-mannered looking despite their firey no-nonsense attitude? thx so much!!!!
Anon, thank you for asking this, it's wonderful! I'm sorry but I may have changed a little bit of your ask ;-;
Reader is a bit of a "delinquent" in the eyes of the strict rules of the academy, but I made them focus more on their own self defense rather then causing chaos to others if that makes sense. Like, reader does cause a bit of trouble to the school's faculty, but nothing much inside school (maybe they focus more on doing things outside of school time, idk, I just think I low-key fucked up your ask, I'm sorry ;-;)
(I just really wanted to focus on these two, because I love them so much)

"- Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no!" [Yandere! Teacher x Delinquent?!Reader - Headcanons]:
→Matthew Robinson:
Oh yeah, he heard about that.
He never really understood what it meant, but he heard a lot of things under the name of Lil Miss Red. Some of the stuff was enough to put someone into jail.
He knew that it was something related to a delinquent from another institution called Saint Bernard, but no one really told him the full extent of the story. More so because no one really knew what happened to that place.
Even though the whole case can be considered a mysterious event, the title of Lil Red seemed to be something well known throughout the whole state. It was a talk subject even in Amaryllis Academy, which hasn't dealt with delinquency ever.
Or at least that's what the school's reports said. Matthew is aware of a case of delinquency really recently in the school, but since it was caused by only one student, the school staff decided that it would be the best to keep that a secret from the general public.
A couple of students know about the incidents, but they have no proof to confirm that a boy really had caused so much problem to the school's faculty.
Stories inside the school get exaggerated to no end, so to hear students say that someone was trying to reach the title of Lil Red inside the school's walls was not exactly a worrying statement. It was honestly kinda laughable, as the first people he thought about were the twins.
They were little troublemakers for sure, but he knows they aren't capable of reaching the level of actual delinquent behavior. And that's when he thought that maybe it wasn't the twins Coldwell, after all, they already have a title of their own, why would they want to change the title of essentially celebrities to delinquents out of nowhere?
And that's when he saw you single-handedly, if you can forgive his English, beat the shit out of some students causing you trouble, students were all around you whispering and gushing at the scene, and only one thing was on their mind.
You were wearing a red hoodie while doing this, so it must be you who is trying to be the new Red.
Now, it's true that any faculty member should be able to give you a punishment for attacking other students, but he decided to take a more delicate approach to the situation as he doesn't know what type of person he would be dealing with.
He demanded that you came to his class after school to have a talk. He was expecting you to tell him to fuck off, so he demanded it in a more affirmative tone. He wasn't expecting you to look so defenseless and almost crying at the thought of getting expelled.
He was so caught off guard by how many times you begged him to give you another chance to stay at the academy and that you were only defending yourself, and that it was an involuntary reaction.
Matthew was just in awe. He was expecting the rudest person to just come in and dictate their rules, not someone so cute, in a way.
All words just flew out of his head. He knew it was self-defense, and he was only planning on confirming if you were indeed the delinquent he was hearing about.
When asked about Lil Miss Red, you're confused, you haven't heard that name yet, he was sure you didn't really know what the title meant in any way.
Relief was clear in his face, he was glad you weren't really the person everyone was assuming you were. Yes, you had started fights here and there in the spend of one week, but you were only defending yourself.
He decided to take his time and pay closer attention to you through the next couple of days. He discovered a couple of things, most of them were really surprising for him.
You didn't care about anyone's opinion about you, you did what you liked and wanted to do, you were confident in your own abilities but also knew when to be humble and ask for help.
These traits were all combined to the fact that you didn't intend on hurting anyone that didn't deserve it. You were friendly despite striking such a stand against those that wished you harm. He really liked that about you.
And then, well, he found out the last thing he needed to know. He should have known this fact in the first place, though.
Instead of learning through exterior methods, you were the one that talked to him about it. You told him how you used to live with abusive parents not so long ago, but when you managed to get enough money and the age to move out, you got out of that hell whole without thinking twice. You learned throughout the years of staying in that house, and then living alone, on how to defend yourself when you needed the most.
I hope you're aware how shocking this is to him. Not only about your story, but the act of you telling him all of this on your own, is shocking to him. He doesn't think he is the best person to talk about personal issues.
But he is glad you told him this, maybe you just wanted to get that out of your chest, right? Or maybe, you saw something on him that you could rely on, to tell him what's on your mind when no one else really understands you.
Maybe he is hoping that it is the latter.
This whole experience is really interesting to him. Matthew still doesn't know who is or was Lil Miss Red, but he got to learn more about you, and that's more than enough for him.
→Madeline Allen:
Oh, dear God, no.
Can we like, not???
How about no? How about she just, pack her things and fire herself out?
She can do that, right??!!
Every single day she hears someone comment something about "Lil Miss Red". Every single day there is someone new trying to be like…. Her!?! Why???
She doesn't understand why she, or more specifically, her ex-title, means so much to people. People never really cared about her until she put some goth clothes and makeup and started calling out her homophobic principal. Or when she dunked her bullies face into the toilet. Or when she burned the whole library and a classroom filled with documents about her. Or when she-
The point is, she is a different person now. It gives her headaches to think about all the things she did when she was inside Saint Bernard. Is, honestly, kinda a traumatic event to her.
Oh yeah, she remembered when she was going to work at Amaryllis and a biker girl was wearing all red and doing that… Stupid ass pose Madeline used to make when she was younger.
Give her a brake, she thought it was cool at the time.
In a way, Madeline hates to think about her past. She is aware that she made some good things but she did it in a violent way. And when things escalated she should have stopped right there, not continue the whole performance like a goddamn live theatre 24/7.
See? She is even cursing, she stopped cursing a long time ago, but whenever her memories come up she just hates herself so much. She sometimes wishes she never was Lil Miss Red.
You know, she only wanted to find out who was responsible for her best friend's death. Only that.
Something that Madeline doesn't know is how important her title means to many of the people that thrive to be like her. She was someone who standed up to people that harmed her. She would sometimes stand up to people she didn't even know personally. Many people see Lil Miss Red because of her physical strength, but only a couple remember how her strength was directed to, even Madeline herself.
Who still blames herself for not doing anything sooner.
She was really planning on getting out of the academy if the rumours were true. She didn't care that she was only working there for a couple of months now, she really didn't want to see someone acting like her again. She didn't want to look at said student and see herself again.
But, when seeing you, she didn't see that part of herself that she hated. She saw someone who has been hurt, and was now standing up for themselves. Ironically, that's exactly who she was when she was younger, but she still doesn't know that.
She felt like she was being selfish by running away from the academy. She felt like it wasn't fair to judge you only based on flimsy rumours she heard. She isn't like this, she shouldn't be like this!
She makes up her mind, and decided to get to know you better. Just like Matthew, she confronts you and asks about your recent behavior inside the school, to only find someone who is sweet and kind, just standing up for themselves, like she thought it was.
She isn't surprised like Matthew, but still a little bit relieved when knowing that the students were only misunderstanding you.
A couple of weeks later after confronting you, she decided to help you with getting more comfortable inside the school as if you continued to cause trouble, you would be expelled.
And although she was curious, she never really asked how you became so efficient in self-defense, it was you who decided to tell her.
Did you trust her enough to tell her that? Or were you just exhausted from carrying this with you?
When you tell her about your abusive household she was so mad with everyone that decided to gossip about you and make stupid rumours, and so mad at herself for judging you without getting to know you.
She even thought you were still living with them, you needed to calm her down to explain everything to her.
She was, glad, that you weren't in that terrible situation anymore, but doesn't things get too tough for you to be on your own? Without family members or friends? Oh, you poor thing…
She wonders if she can help you in any way.
