thinking about the discussed DSMP play, what if it had music.
I'm imagining a song titled "unfinished symphony". Wilbur just belting out the titular words as an array of orchestral instruments play a hauntingly beautiful, yet powerful memory. The lights all pointed on Wilbur and then, all of a sudden it stops as he presses the button. It goes quiet, it gets dark and for a moment everything is still and the air is thick with anticipation.

sometimes i think some people in this fandom believe they own the characters they like, and this turns fandom experience into such a toxic and unhealthy one. caring and worrying about a character is very different than disliking anything it's done to them because it doesn't please you and your idea of their personality and who they should associate with.
this begs the question as well, how much is this about Agatha and how much this is actually about just petty hatred/dislike towards Wanda and canon discourse towards Rio? because, in the dawn of Agatha All Along's release, she's been the least one talked of in comparison to her witch mates in some corners of this fandom.
[author's note: it's just so funny to see some clearly biased complaints about recent events in the mcu and the comics, such as Agatha's deaging in the recent runs of the comics. it's obvious that she's been deaged, and it's very ill-intentioned to bissfully ignore the exact time period that her character was first de-aged and redesigned: after Wandavision and Kathryn's Agatha. i thought this was obvious, but since it evidently isn't, Kathryn's Agatha isn't Hagatha. it makes much more sense to match a character that has always been secondary and related to others, without well-defined appearance, and with the ability to age herself down, to its more popular mcu counterpart. also, why complain about a character that hasn't even been released yet, that we don't know a single official thing about, not being inserted in the comics? when said character is rumoured to be a genderbent version of an already existing character i.e Emerald Warlock? so now everything is bad because a single character that never even existed until a few months ago isn't inserted in everything that pertains Agatha's storyline and Agatha's only? are you even listening to yourselves? how come Agatha allegedly being ever-tied to Wanda is such an awful issue, but suddenly her being tied to Rio isn't? are the double standards in the room with us right now? these are just a few issues and complaints i have, and i feel it's high time they were voiced]
[apologize if there are any spell/grammar mistakes, this was written in the middle of a research lab meeting]

Okay okay, you all might've noticed I'm hyperfixating on 2010 Spartacus again. Here are some scattered thoughts on it, and also a desperate attempt to get my followers to watch it.
This show was so ahead of its time, guys. If this show came out today, the fandom would be insane I'm telling you. A Starz original series about slaves starting an uprising that's literally all about mostly naked men fighting and killing each other in the most brutal, bloody, hyper-masculine ways, but then also fucking each other and no one bats an eye because it's Rome? And also the main gay couple are the only characters that live at the end??? And go start a goat farm?? It's like an uno reverse bury your gays. It's a bury your straights. Bury your everyone but the gays.
Alright a decent amount of gays die as well, but not the mains!!
The fandom would be in the trenches. There would be Barca/Auctus vs Barca/Pietros ship wars. We'd be rioting over the Ashur reboot right now because it's not the nagron on their goat farm show we all wanted. I'm telling you this shit would rival Our Flag Means Death in its cultural impact.
I mean, it's also a pretty poignant show with great themes on freedom and humanity as well, but that's a whole other post.

In this AU, the Bishops were children who were raised in a temple together, chosen from a young age to bear the crowns.
Shamura the eldest, who loved to read and learn and share this knowledge with everyone around;
Kallamar the second, who loved to entertain his siblings with stories and tales;
Heket the third, who loved to try new things and share them with her siblings;
Narinder himself, who loved too much for the embodiment of death;
and Leshy the youngest, who dreamed of a future beyond the palace walls, where he and his family could simply be.
As they grew older, though, things began to change. Vows were made and stations were created- and everyone settled into their roles, learning and growing and expanding upon their domains... they of war, he of blight, she of famine and he of chaos...
But Narinder, he of Death, could not. And that already widening chasm only grew as he did, anyway.
Azri, eventually, came to view Narinder not as a cruel god, but as a victim of his station- a pathetic personification, a pitiable brother betrayed by those he loved, the very ones who placed those lofty, unreachable, unnatural dreams into him in the first place.
And, well, why become Death when you can simply put Death on a leash?
--
Since the Lamb spares Narinder, Narinder remains god of death but is essentially under Azri's control. The other four Bishops get revived, but since they died they lost their god status and only retain their immortal souls. Azri is a god themself after defeating all 5 Bishops (killing 4 of them) and obtaining their crowns.
All five crowns are now in Azri's possession and they are nigh on unstoppable. Luckily for everyone, they just want a peaceful and happy life. Being worshiped is a nice side effect, and sure, there's a sacrifice here and there, but all in all it's a very peaceful life.
Just... don't step out of line. When you have Death under your thumb, death has no meaning.
you can't die without their permission.
also don't mess with Nari bc the Lamb will have Words™ for you.

Been having a Metroid thought the last couple of days about Samus. How I always think it's neat when someone does fanart of her that actually showcases aspects of all the gene splicing she's experienced. Like having fangs post-Fusion, for example. And spoilers for the epilogue of Dungeon Meshi's manga,
but I think it would be really cool to see Samus with feathers, like how Falin has feathers in the epilogue. After all, she's been spliced with a ton of Chozo DNA. And Falin's epilogue design with the feathers looks really cool, and I think Samus would also pull off the look great! This mental image has dug its claws deep into my brain, and I really want to see it done someday.

devil's minion is so great bc like. it really is so romantic over all the horror and then it ends on newly vampired daniel saying wait, fuck, don't let me kill this girl, get her away from me! and armand makes him do it. and that's the end of the chapter. and it's so. daniel, what did you think was going to happen? you literally asked for this--but also, maybe you can't ever really prepare yourself for becoming a murderer!
and then daniel later is like this is great actually. i've always been the huntsman etc etc. but he still has trouble dealing with the bodies. ah buddy.

Can we please get lore? /nf or anything ofc I just love the way you write lore
OUGHHHHHHHH ok well in short. regarding himawari and willow in simple terms willow is literally just a redesign of himawari which was my old sona but i decided to do some interesting lore shit with it
and that shit being the fact that willow was created by himawari in the nothingness (a place in the realm i don't think i really mentioned yet........god it's so hard to explain lore here cus i practically said nothing about the world) because himawari was ''the creator'', and then she gave him her core/soul so that he could be the '''''new himawari'''''', alongside this she gave him another core from someone who we will later find out (probably). after this she decided to stab herself in the chest in front of him so that the timeline would reset but without her and with willow instead, so that he would become the new creator (basically sona). the thing is this shit was fucking traumatising because willow can't help but think this was all his fault even though this was what himawari wanted
