Now then those are mostly designs i stopped working on for many reasons and i can barely find good images of them now cause theyre not even on my computer. Maybe i revisit them in the future but who knows

First something i tried together w the beach fan design- literally a gamer inspired line lol called gamer ghouls. i hate how drac turned out but the heart-shaped switch is something cool- i like frankie’s outfit and ghoulia is my fave here.  its funny cause something i always think when i make g3 designs is ‘’how can i include drac in this’’ cause realistically my line of thinking is ‘’would these sell’’ and drac sells. i also try to keep in mind materials and how well the items would perform as toys too. drac is hideous here tho.  the ghouls drinking monster was super funny in my head

this is a rough one. its for g1, i came up w the concept talking to an old friend, bonita and venus were her favorite dolls and i came up with the concept of a cybergoth inspired Bonita doll and a more slick also cyber inspired figure for venus (shes barely sketched there).

we had LOTS of creative differences (i came with a color pallete much, much different from that since i was inspired by cybergoth, focusing on neon and dark colors) and specially after some personal stuff i just gave up. i still like the concept but i cant really stand working with a concept in mind just to realize the other person isnt interested unless its their way. i wish i can revisit her in the future and apply the stuff i actually envisioned for her- but well, so far thats what we got. cant say im happy aside from the silhouette.

some other reaaally rough ideas for the beach line project for g3. i did most of those during my office work lol. those are for ghoulia. for her i wanted to keep in mind her 50s theme from g1 actually cause i love it so much. thats where the glam chill look came from. then i was like eh its nice but new ghoulia is way more rad and sporty so i tried to think of her doing surf (i also have sketches for deuce in surf attire so they would be fun) i have so many of those all over my house cause when g3 was barely launching i was so excited. and so bored at work. so i just got every paper note i could to sketch random ideas lol Also SILLY OC ALERT!!!

This was mostly a joke but i made her thinking of ET Bilu from a brazilian urban legend lol. thinking of her as a scary skinny legend w stereotypical and hilarious proportions common to old MH dolls was what inspired me at first but then also the whole 2012 pop diva look. Shes just a funny little gal. busquem conhecimento!

a/n - soooo its been a while... ive had a very busy 2023 and a very severe case of writers block, but i wanted to write a cute hoshi fic about a cafe so this is what we get. im also in the works of writing a longer fic like my last one, but that wont be out for a bit, its still very early stages. regardless, i hope u enjoy this messy lil hoshi fic! (because i wouldnt be whoreanghae without a little hoshi here and there) its just sweet and warm and fuzzy etc etc hope u enjoy xoxo k

“order up!”

life working in the cafe was nothing short of fast paced. you were constantly making drinks or baked goods that in a 6 hour shift you were basically running around the entire time. you had no way of pointing out specific things or people, it was just go, go, go. you were used to the environment, and you enjoyed how you had no time to dwell on mistakes or mishaps. you simply had to move on to the next task. 

this day things werent as hectic as they usually were, so you were testing out new drinks and snacks for the menu. as you started pouring milk into an empty cup for the next round of testing, you heard the bell above the door jingle and quickly poured the last cup of milk and turned around. the man who stood a couple feet away from the counter was what you would call ‘a familiar’. you dont see him enough to call him a regular, but you see him just enough that he stands out when you see him walk in. he was one of those people you still noticed out of the rest even in one of those fast paced busy days. you watch as his eyes scan the menus above your head, and he taps his foot as he tries to decide what to order. after 20 seconds or so he steps up to the counter and smiles. you give him a smile back.

“welcome back! what’ll it be today?” 

“hmmm, im thinking ill go for something matcha today. maybeeeee a medium iced matcha latte?”

you hum and nod as you press buttons on the register. 

“good choice, good choice, can i get you anything else today?”

“and a large iced americano!”

“allllright, ill get started on that for you now.”

you shoot him another smile as he takes out his card and taps it on the machine. you spin around and start getting out the ingredients to make his drinks. everytime he comes in, he always gets a different drink from the menu for himself, then a large iced americano. every time, a large iced americano. you just assume the drink is for a girlfriend or someone, and continue on with your day. as much as youd never admit it, some days you kind of wish he stops ordering the americano. its not that you dont want the cafe getting any sales, its just that he is handsome. so handsome. and you dont want to make a fool of yourself and hit on a guy with a girlfriend. so as long as hes ordering the large iced americano, youll keep to yourself. 

you whip up the drinks and bring them to the other end of the counter, as his head pops up and he comes over to pick up the drinks. he thanks you, and you wish him a good day as he heads out the door again. you sigh, watching him leave with that damn large iced americano in his left hand.

your coworkers start to pick up on your little thing for mr familiar, so everytime they see him coming, theyre coincidentally busy in that moment. he comes in a couple times again throughout the week, still ordering the americano. you still shoot him the same smile, wishing him well, and watching him leave with the drinks in tow. one day, just one day, he wont order the americano and youll be able to make a move. but, that just wasnt the day.

one day when work is particularly dead, youre sitting at a table a few feet away from the counter eating your lunch when the door bell rings again. you look up, and youre met with mr familiar yet again. you wave meekly as he smiles and nods your way. your coworker serves him, since you had just sat down. you try to not look at him, or listen to what hes ordering. hes just another customer, why do you wonder so strongly what drinks he had just ordered? you push it out of your mind as you try to finish your sandwich. out of the corner of your eye you see your coworker place a drink and something else on the counter, and mr familiar walks to the counter and picks it up. but, instead of hearing the door bell yet again, you’re instead met with a figure standing over your table. 

“is this seat taken?”

he gestures to the chair opposite you at the small table. you shake your head and nod for him to sit down. he places his drink and sandwich on the table and grins at you. you try to stop the tips of your ears from turning red, but you can feel the heat blazing from the side of your head. you both eat your lunch as you make small talk. you learn that he actually goes to your school, which is just down the block. hes a dance major, which piques your interest even more. it turns out that he has a really cute laugh, and loves tigers. you tell him about your self, and he listens intently the entire time. he nods his head along with your stories which makes you smile to yourself. you check your watch, realizing that the lunch rush is about to start. 

“im so sorry to cut this short, but i have to get back to work, the lunch rush is about to start and i cant leave them high and dry.”

“oh no worries at all! i have a class at 1:00 anyways, its probably time for me to head back now too.”

“it was really nice talking to you.”

“it was nice talking to you too, wait, here-”

he rummages in his pocket, pulling out a crumpled up receipt and a pen. he scrawls something on the back of the paper, and shoves it into the pouch of your apron. you laugh at his urgency as he puts the pen back into his pocket and heads out the door. he waves as he walks past the front windows, and you wave back in a sort of shock. you pull the crumpled paper out of your apron and read it. the paper reads “Soonyoungie~” and his number. as you read this, you realize you never even gave him your name. you see a string of customers begin to roll in, so you shove the receipt into your back pocket and get back to work.

as the day comes to an end and youre sitting in your bed in your pajamas, you keep turning the receipt over and over in your hands. you trace the letters and numbers with your fingers so much that you think they might soon rub off the paper. do i text him? how long do i wait? did i wait too long? you stare at the receipt until you fall asleep, paper in hand. you wake up the next morning to the receipt laying on the floor next to your bed. you pick it up, grab your phone, and carefully type the numbers into a new contact. you make sure to reread it about 20 times, before naming the number “soonyoung” and flopping back onto your bed. 

you get to work, and youre staring at the empty text conversation between you and mr familiar, who youve now discovered is ‘soonyoung’. then, you quickly realize that you didnt tell him your name. your palm connects with your forehead as you realize that youre probably just ‘cafe girl’ to him at this point. you see your manager walk out of the back room in the corner of your eye, so you put your phone back into your pocket so she doesnt shout at you. it feels like your phone is weighing you down, whispering ‘text him, text him’ into your ear as you mix drinks. you push soonyoung to the back of your mind, trying to just get through this shift. 

the cafe is booming this day, customers are constantly in and out and there are so many people that the tables are all filled. you and your coworkers are switching out with each other between cleaning/serving tables, working the cash, and making the orders. it just so happens that your shift as the cashier had just started when you see a familiar face coming in. soonyoung smiles as he sees you, and glances at the menu before coming up to the counter. you beam at him as he looks at you over the counter. you notice another guy next to him, looking around the cafe in awe.

“hi soonyoung! whats on the menu today?” 

“a large vanilla latte for me, and a large iced americano for my friend.”

you blink to yourself as you type in the order. large iced americano… large iced americano… the large iced americano wasnt for a girlfriend, it was for a friend. the man next to soonyoung had a kind smile, and he radiated warm energy. you give both of them a grin as you gesture to the machine and watch as soonyoung taps his card yet again. 

“so what are you two doing out today?”

“we both had some time between classes, and i always bring seungkwan americanos from here because he says theyre the best in seoul, so today i convinced him to come with me.”

“ahhh, well im glad you enjoy them, seungkwan.”

he gives a smile back as you hear soonyoungs name called from the end of the counter. 

“have a good day you two!”

“you too, y/n!”

soonyoung calls back as he heads out the door and you move on to your next customer. wait. he knew your name? how did he know your name? the interaction lingers in your mind throughout every customer you serve until youre about to close. you think about it over and over again, and bring it up to one of your coworkers.

“hey, did you tell that guy soonyoung my name?”

“huh? no, why?”

“its weird, he came in and he knew my name..”

“honey, did you forget whats right here?”

she pats your chest, and you look down at your apron. you feel like an idiot. name tag. thats how he knew. your coworker laughs and pats your back as she goes back into the breakroom. you clean off the counters and take out your phone and quickly type out a message. 

y/n : hey soonyoung! this is y/n from the cafe :) 

you stare at the message for what felt like hours, and reluctantly turn your phone off and go back to cleaning up so you can go home. as youre putting the containers of milk back into the fridge, you hear your phone buzz on the counter and spin around.

soonyoung : hey y/n!

soonyoung : how is/was work? 

the message makes you smile, as you send another one and push your phone across the counter, flustered.

y/n : it got better after i saw a certain familiar face :))

Ok i literally was waiting so much to see Lucifer n Lilith being a really happy and cute maried couple and now yall telling me that THEY DIVORCED??????? IM LITERALLY CRYIN WHAHT??? 😭

and OMG LUCIFER. HES SUCH A BABY, SWEETIE, SCRUNKY, CUTIE PATOOTIE!!! HES SO SILLY, I WISH I HAD DAD LIKE HIM. JUST LOOK AT HIM OH MAI GAHD

And his voice is really cool too! Not really what i expected him to sound like but still good! N the way he speaks is really funny too:

Also the fact that Alastor was immediatly so pissed when Luci just steped into hotel is really strange. Maybe something happened between them that we dont know so far? Cuz purposely making Luci mad literally 5 secs after u met each other is really weird.

AND OMG THIS SONG IS TOTALLY NEW FAVOURITE BY NOW, THEY LITERALLY DID AN ELECTRO SWING SONG LIKE HELL YEAH!!! N THE FACT THAT LUCI OUT OF NOWHERE STARTS PLAING VIOLIN AGGRESSIVELY AND THEN SHUTS ALASTOR UP WITH AN ACCORDION IN THIS IS THE BEST TGING EVER.

i dont know how i think bout Mimzy rn. All i gotta say is she have a really cool singing voice!

This last song made me cry (again). I feel so bad for Luci, he was abandoned by heaven n he just doesnt want the same fate for his beautiful daughter, cuz she is the only thing he live for (i want him to be my dad so much omg..)

Also when Lilith took little Charlie away from Luci, it was sad, but it actually made me think, what if Lilith will be an antogonist? What if she will be the bad person? Maybe the main vilian even. I think if that will actually happen everyone will go CRAZY. But thats just my lil thought.

Ok but sir Pentious is GOT CRUSH ON CHERRI BOMB??? WHA??? THAT WAS SOMETHING I REALLY DIDNT EXPECT

Also i expected heaven to be much more strict place with many rules, where noone is alowed to swear. But turned out that its actually just a hell with better people and more rules, thats all. And its actually really strange that u can swear in heaven. Im not talking about Adam n Lute, cuz theyre exterminators and clearly just awhul ppl, this guy infront of heavens gates actually said fuck. Maybe im just wrong, but isnt swearing unacceptable in christianity?..

Also HELL YEAH we nailed it! We were right about Vaggie being a fallen angel. But the reason why she fell.... She was an exterminator and literally just didnt kill one child (which is really shows us that she have a kind heart) BUT SHE WAS EXPELED FOR IT IN SUCH HORRIBLE WAY.

I JUST DONT HAVE ENOUGH RAGE TO DESCRIBE HOW MUCH I HATE THOSE MOTHERFUCKERS. I REALLY HOPE WHEN HEAVEN DECIDES TO REDEEM PPL FROM HELL, THEY BOTH WILL GO TO FUCKING HELL FOR ALL THOSE VILENCE THEY BROUGHT TO WORLD, THAT WOULD BE FUCKING HILARIOUS.

Also Cherri Bomb is being kinda toxic friend to Angel n i dont like that.

Ok this last song WAS SO EPIC!! ESPECIALLY WHEN CHARLIE N EMILY DID UNO REVERSE ON ADAMS SONG FROM EP 1!!

AND THAT PART WHEN ADAM REVEALED THAT VAGGIE IS AN ANGEL WAS SO EPIC TOO I LITERALLY GOT CHILS

and Charlies reaction to that was actually really heartbreaking

And everything ended up with Adam winning. I really hope that justice will overtake in this whole situation and Charlies plan will work. And im really interested to see Charlie n Vaggies relationships after that reveal. I honestly think that Charlie will forgive her, but its still really interesting.

i simply think it is so fun to imagine a world where a company makes a bunch of androids to assist people and provide companionship so they give the androids stories and release them in certain themes or lines and those androids are the genshin characters. credit to @yandere-daydreams for the idea. i love it so much. yes we all want x character to be our boyfriend or girlfriend and we have sex with them yes but i think its fun to imagine their roles when theyre not being yandere...

also the read more is very long i just went off about my ideas for most of the mondstadt characters. nothing wrong with me

if this is set in teyvats world imagine amber being like a gliding instructor in mondstadt. good engineer too, maybe the first bot that can fix other bots/have intricate knowledge of them (because she made baron bunny).

for human injuries theres barbara and jean, but with different temperaments for different patients. or if we're still set in teyvat, then jean (and the rest of the favonius knights characters) are actually android assistants to the actual human knights. basically the androids replace vision holders??

but yeah kaeya would also be a knight assistant, noelles story is she trains super hard but still isnt a knight (because shes made to help actual trainees!). lisa of course manages the library. yeah sorry thats it. makes tea

and i had the idea (this is all stolen from my own twitter thread from *checks* last year? anyway) that they would tease the release of bots like diluc, rosaria and razor through voicelines from kaeya, barbara and lisa. really like the idea of razor originally being some sort of surveillance android for wolvendom/integrating with them in some way for research and sort of became a guide for people who get lost in wolvendom.

diona and diluc are two different types of bartenders, one is good against people who cant say no to a cute (angry) kitty and the others... are those require some intimidation.

VENTI. god, i think itd be cool if they had prototype models for the seven archons and actual venti bots now definitely play into the "broke bard who plays for alcohol" thing. but of course anyone with eyes knows that his original model was the barbatos android.

oh!! and bennett and fischl being adventurers buddies. bennett is "unlucky" but hes actually like, wired to be hypervigilant and take hits for you while he shrugs it off. and fischl comes with oz if you need some chuuni speech translated, but you can disable that if you want to go full rp with her.

*looks at my thread* oh yeah "Albedo is made for the alchemists in the Knights, and he was meant to be released with Klee, but there was a delay because his ai kept experimenting on its own copies (Flowerfell Albedo?)" ngl i didnt play the albedo event and never bothered to watch a video so i dont know the full extent of his lore here. oh right and i added "sucrose is made to keep an eye on him in the labs" lmao

klee is. i suppose made for the knights. a cute energetic girl to keep morale up, whos fireproof and thus able to scout dangerous areas/bomb them if you so wish.

oh yeah i wrote that the church was not happy about the rosaria bots being made so they relegated her to guarding dragonspine against foolish adventurers. as to why she keeps appearing in bars, well, uh. No comment — Celestia Inc.

the lawrence clan wanted in on this business and sponsored a representative of their family, but mondstadts opinion of them is less than friendly, so the knights compromise and make eula, a lawrence knight.

whew okay for some reason i was able to churn out a lot for mondstadt and then everyone else i was like uh yeah. they exist and do things similar to what they do in game like xiangling being a cook's aide. yep. idk why the mondstadt worldbuilding gripped me so hard like that.

also my last thought is that maybe the hilichurls are just the verryyy alpha version of their bots, the khaenri'ah line (i think daydream mentioned this) and maybe just broke down and went rogue/abandoned. so now they make better bots to fight them and keep people safe. go figure. earns them a ton of cash though. lol imagine if getting them was a lottery too....

Liam/Bryce

fucking SUCKS. it can only work if you're self aware about how absolutely awful and hurtful liam is,and i feel from what ive seen that the fandom just reduces them to 'omg doomed yaoi' and like, woobifies them. This ship only and only works as one sided,forced and extremely toxic (in my eyes). Bryce deserves better than Liam, and liam relentlessly hurts Bryce down to the very goddamn end (← i say this as someone who is currently fuckin obsessed with liam and self recognizes in him 😐)

Liam/Amelia

I like this one. I feel like theyre pretty good for each other, although, it's sort of a doomed one,in the sense of how it would work only if they were to be in the plane forever. I do feel like Amelia sort of lost herself in the plane forever. If those two ever got out, he'd have to take some charge on their shared recovery and Liam is NOT gonna deal with that well. Still a cute ship,and I like it.

Amelia/Charlotte

...why? this feels like pairing the leftover main characters because everyone is focused on the Boys TM. they dont really have any chemistry,like,even theorically i feel like they wouldn't mesh well,unless you wanna make Amelia basically Charlotte's therapist. But yay, women! i can't be mad about this one,really. I don't mind it

Liam/Airy

Lairy is...complicated, emotionally. I can see it actually being a thing,but it's really in a fucked up way. definitely a 'i hope we both die' kind of pairing. I think about it and it gives me heartache that i cant explain. it hurts because they both are awful in different ways but also they are trying. I will say i do enjoy it but in a way that makes me hurt. lots of angst there. I think this one especially benefits from becoming a ship that happens after moldpack being A thing

Okay this one is not popular,in fact i feel like nobody but me is into it but theres so much potential here. especially the way they would be so horribly,terrifyingly bad to each other. I can imagine Charlotte getting out instead of Bryce,and how different it all would be. her prideful nature and liam's manipulative tendencies are so deliciously wrong. I feel they would bring the worst out of each other. I have a lot to say about them but like. Consider those first 5 months. Liam was as isolated as Charlotte was,he only sorta rejoined the others in the last two months stretch, and I think they might've interacted during that. Oscar/Bryce - can see it,and i feel like it makes sense within Bryce's trauma streak. I can imagine them bonding and it getting a bit too close

Bryce/Stella - I wish this had more exploration,object shipcest is so insanely rare. I like it

Taylor/Amelia - kinda cute,can see it if taylor stayed in the plane. Especially if it starts as a sort of one sided crush that goes too far

Liam/Owen - this is cute,can kinda see it but only in a no-show scenario (as in, ONE never happened and this is a coworker romance thing)

Charlotte/Parker - it upsets me,but i can see them as having hooked up once and Parker catching feelings while Charlotte is super uncomfortable about it and that explains that weird tension.

Bryce/Amelia - eh. sure? it's cute but i dont care for it a lot. also i dont care for sodacentpack a lot,but it's better than sodapack alone i Guess. get ♣️'d lmao

YES!!!!!!! 💎🐢💥 full disclosure I only just finished Indigo Disk's main storyline like....less than 24 hours ago so I am still RIDING HIGH FROM THE RUSH OF IT ALL. will probably be spoilers ahead, as a head's up:

first off I love that like. right off the bat youre getting hit with cyrano and cavell old man yaoi. busting out the cute little nicknames like HELLO!!! AND then you have geeta showing up and rika is there for no reason whatsoever and it's like. well ok i think they were having lesbian activities on the plane over you love to see it!

anyway setting wise, the Big Ol Blueberry is pretty fun! I love running around and the Synchro Machine is SUCH a ridiculously fun feature (FINALLY, TRUE GAMING: Dana can run around as a Ninetales and smack a big ball around.) I love all the Unova callbacks and I LOVE THE DIFFERENT CLUB ROOM LAYOUTS!! The monochrome one made me tear up and SEEING THE FUCKIGN. POKESTAR STUDIOS ENEMIES. IN THE FUTURISTIC ONE. MADE ME FEEL SOMETHING. pokestar studios my beloved i miss it sooo much 😭 My buddy Snap was talkin about how the Terarium really kind of lacks... yknow, landmarks and points of interest, though, and god I agree so hard. I love that Kitakami had its own little set of interesting features and places to go and use as landmarks and the Terariuam kind of. Doesn't really have those. It's a bit of a pain in the ass to navigate and easy to get lost but not in a fun way.... even though you have these little neat natural features like The Pride Rock and Chargestone Caves, I wish we coulda had a little bit more :( For such a widely used part of the school it doesn't feel very 'lived' in by the students there. It would've been fun to see more gathering places aside from the Very Sterile Outside Classrooms.....

ok well that's. less about setting and more about story though huh. well!! story wise, absolutely loved it! I know there was a lot of apprehension when the DLCs got more properly announced and we found out they didnt really center on Our Dear Paldea Friends as scarvio proper did, and yeah I definitely can see why that's a frustration and a deterrent for some (and I'm soo so excited to hang out with Nemona and Arven and Penny in the epilogue next month....peach time (: ) but for me in the end I'm really just so enamored and delighted with all the new friends you get to make in the DLC and they more than carry that little narrative's arc on its own. The Elite 4 of the BB League are all GREAT, they got nonstop autistic girls out here in gen 9 (nemona, amarys, briar ?!??!) and it ROCKS. and i LOVE Carmine so much, everyone always wants mean rivals and mean women and folks cant even handle Carmine 🙄 you can tell she genuinely has such a big heart and cares about her friends and her brother!!! and Kieran wahhh wahh kieran my newest Little Guy ;____;.... he is SO fourteen and I did not expect to go into the DLC getting really invested in a new character's arc but it's just GOOD. He REALLY feels like a loose yugioh character in Indigo Disk, he's so angry and obsessed with victory and ultimately under it all still capable of so much kindness and regret and he's just GOOD. And his champion battle was terrifying and a BLAST!! THE MUSIC RULES. HE EVEN HAD INCINEROAR.

god and all the music in Indigo Disk was a banger. gen 9 music save me. gen 9 music. save me gen 9 music.

i'm SUPER hyped to do more BBQs with my bestie and do more postgame stuff with the "hanging out with Gym Leaders" thing and the Legendary hunting and such... lots more to roll around in and have a good time with. All in all had just a great time with it, I genuinely might put Violet as my favorite Pokemon game of all time at this point! I do grow very sad thinking about just how even more fantastic this game couldve been if it had 1-3 more years to cook properly though, like..god damn. I was getting some LAG on those cutscenes, and I know I made out pretty alright in the bugs department!!

but for now i'll just be thinking about the shit that happens at the crystal pool for the rest of my life. also Indigo Disk gave me the best possible trainer ID photo i never need to change it again

13. shane calling ryan "little guy" + hand holding: these moments were both from the powerpoint party one-off!! that video is such a gem :') while calling ryan little guy he gave him his cape (one of shane's FAVORITE things) as a blanket it was ADORABLE

Grian and Scar were soulmates, they always had been, no matter the lifetime, no matter the place. It had become an axiom, a truth of existence. It was no surprise the universe had paired them together in a death game where they were bound to hurt each other, kill each other, destroy each other so beautifully. 

“Scar, look at me!” Grian exclaimed, cupping Scar’s cheek to hold him in place. They felt the simultaneous pain of the dripstone falling on their heads. Grian winced, and the realisation dawned on Scar’s face.

“Oh my god,” he breathed. Grian let out a chuckle at the reaction. “Really?”

“What?” Grian asked. “Don’t want to be partnered with me?”

“Just didn’t think I’d get so lucky again,” Scar smiled, Grian’s hand was still on his cheek. 

“I have to say,” Grian started, leaning in. “I prefer it to quite a few others.”

Scar hummed in agreement, their lips brushed against each other. “Oh, but being enemies is fun sometimes. I get to push your buttons.”

Grian pressed a languid kiss to Scar’s lips. He pulled back and rolled his eyes. “Believe me, I am aware.” 

“You love it,” Scar teased, pulling Grian in for another kiss.

“I love you,” Grian offered.

“I’ll take it.”

“I wish you could come with me,” Scar whispered one morning, a careful hand tracing lines up and down on Grian’s arm. “I’m going to miss you so much.”

“I’ll miss you too,” Grian said, cuddling deeper into Scar’s hold. “But they need me down here, and you up there, Mr. Astronaut.”

“I know,” Scar sighed. He loved his job, he hated the sacrifices he had to make to do it. “At least I can always open up a transmission to you.”

“The people who have to sort the call logs will hate us,” Grian joked, looking up at Scar’s face. He brushed a strand of hair off of Scar’s forehead. “At least it’s only a few months.” 

“Back together before we know it,” Scar held out his pinky. 

Grian linked it with his own with a smile, “before we know it.”

It was a phrase they had started telling each other, telling themselves, to make the time apart a bit easier for both of them. It helped them from they got word of Scar’s trip to the morning he was set to to step foot onto the spaceship.

Grian was crying, so was Scar. They already missed each other, despite the fact they were in each other’s arms. “Say the world and I’ll stay,” Scar mumbled into Grian’s ear with desperate longing. 

“I think it’s a little too late for that,” Grian whispered. “You’ll be back before we know it.”

“Before we know it.”

“So, why do you need chorus fruit again?” Grian asked, shooting off another rocket to keep his momentum. 

“For my Cookie Empire, Grian!” Scar repeated, continuing on as they landed on an end island. “I’m making elven kisses!”

“Elven kisses?” Grian asked, crossing his arms and walking up to Scar. “I thought those were Grian Exclusive.”

“Songbird, are you jealous?” Scar teased, pulling Grian closer, taking pride in the small pout on his face. “Tree elven kisses are still a Grian Exclusive, don’t worry.”

“Good,” Grian hummed, “now let's get this over with so that I can eat the batter behind your back.”

Scar laughed, twirling Grian around in his arms. “As you wish, my love.”

Three hours after that, Grian and Scar with both covered head to toe in flour, competitive looks in their eyes. “You started it!” Grian cried out.

“I do not!” Scar argued. “You ate the batter!”

“I told you this, you were aware of my shenanigans!” Grian put his hands on his hips, tilting his head, giving Scar his best scowl. Scar struggled to keep back a smile. “What?” Grian demanded.

“Nothing,” Scar said. “You just look so cute when you’re angry.”

Grian didn’t know if the heat in his face was from him blushing or more anger, “don’t try and sweet talk your way out of this one mister!” 

“Sweet talk?” Scar asked, and Grian realised his mistake. “Would you like an elven kiss to go along with it?”

“That depends, are you talking about the cookie?”

“Xelqua.” Voices boomed around Grian as he regained consciousness. The voices were distinct and horribly familiar, the Watchers. “You have lost.”

“I can’t always win,” Grian seethed. He felt thousands of eyes on him, observing and critiquing his every move. It left a bitter taste in his mouth. “Statistically impossible.”

“Not just the game,” the voice echoed in his mind. “Yourself, those you love.”

“What do you mean?” Grian asked. He mentally replayed his time on the servers, the rush of being red, the thrill of the danger that came with it. 

“You were meant to be resilient, Xelqua,” the Watchers said. “That was the deal, for you to have this power, and yet here you are, broken.”

“I am not broken!” Grian argued, voice hoarse and raw with anger.

“You have hurt everyone you’ve ever loved,” the Watchers started. “You have killed them, yet you pretend you are whole?”

“I am whole!” Grian sobbed. “I am, I am, I am,” he repeated to himself, trying to overpower the voices in his head. 

“We thought we could help, pairing you with Scar, but still you fail, and you hurt, and you kill.”

“I don’t,” Grian tried, he felt smaller than he ever had before. “Scar forgave me!”

Post explaining what a system is perhaps? How does it work? Confused(<-me)

Sure! Yet note that we are only speaking from our experience and are absolutely NOT educated on many things about plurality (i.e. being a system). We are still learning too!

"system" is a term for when there are multiple consciousnesses in one brain, essentially. there are many reasons for this, but in our case its a result of trauma (i.e. traumagenic. other types exist too, but i would rather let someone who knows more about them to explain them).

To understand this better, think of the things that stress you out. now, think of what would happen if they stressed you out so much that it caused you to be completely overwhelmed. For many, if not most people, they would try to cope by detaching themselves from their own thoughts and identity in a process called dissociation.

In some cases, this is taken to such an extreme that a person's identity "splits", and suddenly they now have two identities in the ssme body! The identity that split off may also be based in some way around the trauma that caused it. For example, I, Abigail, was born from fear. As an undiagnosed autistic child, it was hard for us when we were younger to truly understand people. We had to learn the hard way how being social worked. And we never knew why we were such a mess either. Our young self was scared and lonely and desperately wished she could be someone else. Someone that was cool and would fit in better with other humans. Someone taht became me! She dissociated so much pretending to be me that I was eventually spawned as part of her. Thast a simplification ofc, but it works for now.

When we aren't "fronting", i.e. controllimg the body, we are all hanging around in an area of the brain called the headspace. Its our home, really. The headspace can look like anything you want. It's created by the brain, after all. For us, it's a massive rainforest filled with cute crestures. We, ofc, have headspace selves that dont necessarily look like our body. Phoebe, for exanple, is asian even tho our body isnt. Thats just how the brain generated her.

Nowadays, we have five members that we are aware of. While we are related, we are all different from each other. For example, most of us are different ages, which, in in the case of Phoebe and Giulia, has relevance bc theyre clues to why we split in the first place. Phoebe spawned from the conflict between us being treated as an adult as soon as we turned 18 (whenever it was convenient for those around us) despite not beung ready to be an adult yet. So, shes still a kid yet shes very mature.

Theres a lot more to be said, but im jsut a kid trying to figure out my own life. None of us are experts by any means. Id reccommend you do research on your own to supplememt what Ive said here!

Anyways i saw the leak so heres my thoughts on it!

The beginning part is cute. I LOVE the fly dogs and wish they weren't forgotten about.

I think it would make more sense if Striker was kidnapped and brough to Crimson since he may want someone . If Crimson is running out of money and Striker is trying to get money those feel conflicting. So if he kidnapped Striker (believable since based on prior fights he seems to struggle the moment he's outnumbered.) And threatened to kill him if he failed it might give more reason to the circumstances. (And if we want Crimson alive perhaps he can't afford to kill Striker after IMP has cut down so many of his men)

Fizz and Ozzies relationship being the worst kept secret feels conflicting in a way esp if the news dropped just tofat. Like Fizz hides the newspaper (and how were they found out? Like wouldnt this be a problem?) So maybe itd help if Striker looked at that news article when being told he had to catch someone important and then moves it down where we get the shot of Fizz and Blitzø fighting. Indicating to us its Strikers lucky day because the news just broke this guy is someone Ozzie might shell out quite a bit of money for.

The backstory I didnt like the choppiness of admittedly. I hope we get a more in depth one that gives especially Fizz's backstory more time to hit.

That or maybe he tries to steal Ozzies dogs (presuming Fizz to be his dog walker and because Fizz is still holding the leashes and in a fight with Blitzø theyre both pulled up with them?).

Their resolution feels like it was missing the issue. It wasnt just that Blitzo ruined Fizz's life its that he actively walked away when Fizz was severely injured. And Blitzø's "i lost something too" thing feels like its talking down to Fizz as though he wasnt there and close to Blitzøs family. I think maybe itd work if they made each other feel bad in a way that makes each of them reconsider their view of one another like:

Fizz: You hated that I was better than you so you decided to take it all away from me!

Blitzo: It was an accident!

Fizz: Oh boo hoo. Do you want a participation medal or something.

Blitzø then grabs Fizz's shirt both with tears in his eyes and seething with anger. " I lost things that day too Fizz! Where do you think this scar came from?"

Then we get Blitzos flashback and perhaps they dont bond over "nobody told me you came to visit!" (Which why is that tossed aside and why is nothing gonna be done to keep it from happening?) But instead misjudging each other and assuming.

Speaking of that since fire seems to be different colors based on rings, if that fire isnt visually different im gonna struggle to buy Blitzø not at minimum being afraid of human fire based on appearance because this:

Doesn't help. Unless wrath fire looks similar to human fire, (meaning because Wrath is orange Blitzo should presumably be scared based on appearances.) It also would bring to question isnt the point of the fire breathing trick the danger?

I could see this being a intended swap out. That they use human fire in shows bc it looks like wrath fire to minimize injury. But this means assumably the fire from the birthday cake shouldnt be green orange or blue (colors IIRC we saw and Blitzo wasnt bothered by) its not going against canon yet. The fire color will determine that.

Btw if Stolas loves words and reading contracts youd think he'd remember a spell from his book.

Next i hope Fizz's song sounds better in the show. It wasnt bad! Admittedly tho i wish they played into Crimsons men falling into the song because I can follow Crimson and Striker confused but everyone just standing their confused i feel drags down the scene a bit. A lot of the time moments like these work well if the people watching get into the song in a way where the rug is pulled out from under them when the song ends. For examples:

You're Welcome from Moans.

Just Can't Wait to be King from The Lion King

And arguably the I Have a Dream song from Tangled.

Now as for the end my main thing is Ozzies "youll never leave the palace without protection again" before Fizz even expresses being afraid feels infantilizing. I think it overall wouldve worked better if Ozzie sent Fizz to get milk alone because he doesn't want them seen together in a domestic context.

So by the end Ozzie says he'll never let Fizz go anywhere protection to which Fizz responds that he can handle himself (he and Blitzo did work together to get out of there) but he'd love if they went places as a couple.

Ill prob do a rewrite in the future but for now I wanna see how the final product ends up before i go into that!

okay guys because I’m obsessed I’m rewatching season four this time actually recording things because last time I just did what I could remember. That was also from a while ago (when i originally wrote it) some stuff might be the same but do I care?
