chris buries his face in his hands, hiding his reddening cheeks. “stoooop,” he whines out, “they’re getting too cringe.”
“baby. baby,” you reach out for him, still clutching your phone in one hand, “hey. are you french?”
he peeks at you, dodging any attempt for you to hold him. “i don’t want to know where you’re going with this--”
“because eiffel for you.”
another loud groan of embarrassment while you continue to giggle. “it’s not funny! you’re not funny!”
“you’re turning red!”
“because you’re not funny!”
you continue to scroll through the page, smiling hard enough that your cheeks hurt. “chris. are you a chicken--”
“--stop--”
"because you’re im-peck-able.”
“why do i love you.” he looks up, voice flat, despite how red his neck and ears have become. he buries his face in his hands again, letting out a muffled yell.
“chris... you know what’s on the menu today?”
he looks up, waiting for the awful second part to come.
“me-n-u.”
“i hate you.” he reaches out, pulling you closer. “i hate you,” he repeats, “why are you doing this to me?”
“because,” you giggle, leaning in for a quick peck, “you looooove me.”
... yeah. that’s it. he pulls you in closer, planting a longer kiss against your lips. he looooooves you and your silly pick-up lines.

Not necessarily DID related and honestly I have an art blog for this but I also don't use my art blog and shit, plus I don't really consider this "art posting" considering its actually more on just the hobby of it - but like, its around three years of arting at this point - probably a bit more. I had originally picked it up out of spite that one of our littles could actually draw somewhat well and was using it for chaos and found that it is honestly one of my best and most reliable self regulating activities that can help me ground, relax and focus the best.
And so ever since I started, I had originally made a deal with myself that we draw at least 30 minutes daily and for the first two years, we barely missed a day partially because we are (problematically) good at keeping routines and making hobbies out of work and work out of hobbies, but also just because it is really something I just >need< to do in order to properly maintain a sense of like, homeostasis and zen.
At this point, I don't even try to make myself draw regularly, I just naturally really try to set at least an hour aside to draw and its just become a regular part of my routine. Which is honestly a double win for me since I have this story I've been writing with a friend since I we were 12 and very much like to say "raised us more than our parents" and as a result both of us have a very strong need and urge to one day put the story out there so it can live on outside of our own mortal "foreshortened future experiencing" heads. And over time we realized that turning it into a comic / webtoon would probably be the best means of telling the story, and so as the art friend between the two, I've just casually added "becoming a reluctant mangaka" onto my list of side hobbies and skills I plan to one day do and am slowly working up, cause again - the story needs to get out there some point.
I don't plan to actaully even so much as draft anything until the RP-format of the prequel is over and at least a year or two from now has passed, so I'm currently just bolstering out skills in my art to actually make it so that I'm not gonna 1) be limited in how I can make characters and the world and 2) So that I can find a consistent style and method to going about drawing things and people
And with this up running year (I count years by art fight years) my main focus is expanding my designs to things I dont usually draw (I specialize in pretty boys, so I gotta expand out to different age groups, more traditional masc characters, remember how to draw women etc) and to actually drawing backgrounds / sceneries
And I just got done drawing my first somewhat old man in a while and not only is he old and more of a not-twink faced dude, but he actually has a beard and Im like huh. This is really out of my 'preferred character design' but I'd like to think it is turning out well and I'm just like huh.
It's really neat how my skill has developed over time.
Anyways, sketch of the character below to enjoy this art log. Please excuse the lazy watermark. @feathery-creations is the art blog I never update.

So I got a couple of messages about the “straight ships” post and I feel the need to clarify that I don’t have any issue with people who don’t ship m/f pairings. I wholeheartedly believe in letting people enjoy whatever ships they enjoy, but I have come across some people who berate those for enjoying straight ships. I’ve come across some people who have some kind of superiority complex over the fact that they don’t ship straight ships. I’ve come across people who have acted like shipping a straight ship somehow makes you less accepting of non-straight ships. I’ve come across people who agree certain characters would make a good pairing but still argue against people shipping them simply because they’re straight (which is what I think the OP meant by the first sentence about people who “refuse” to ship m/f pairings), like there’s some kind of rule about it. I’ve even come across people who do like certain m/f pairings but have said that they feel like they shouldn’t because they’re straight and they’ve been pressured by other people.
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with people who don’t ship straight ships (I ship very few myself) but I do think there’s something wrong with acting like people who do are somehow homophobic or ignorant.
As I said, the wording in that post was much stronger than I would use for expressing that idea, but I still agree with the idea. Shipping is supposed to be fun so, if people ship straight couples, just let them enjoy their ships.
Anyway, I’m going to add the messages I received regarding this here (don’t worry, everyone one was perfectly polite--I just got the feeling that the post had been misunderstood as me saying you should ship straight ships, when it wasn’t).
From Anon,
http://www.ilovetelevisionzines.com/another-boring-straight-couple-why-i-hate-your-canon/
This article has some points. Ross and Rachel are often deemed one of the best and romantic Canon ships on a show of all time. But I always thought even this so called most romantic sitcom trip was very unbalanced.
Tiny extract but the whole entire is worth a read.
’On Friends, Ross loves Rachel. And heshows that love through a jealousy and obsession that should send any flesh and blood woman running for the hills. Ross can’t stand it when Rachel has a male co-worker or - God forbid - friend. His acts possessive of Rachel and marks his territory. He treats Rachel like an object to be fought for. His jealousy causes bitter fights and leads to the first of their many, many break-ups. In real life, a man trying to separate a woman from her friends is the redest of flags. Here, it is a sign of the depth of Ross’s passion. In reality, people are autonomous beings, not objects to be fought over. But on Friends, Ross fights to win Rachel because he loves her.’
I think this article has quite a few good points. I don’t prefer f/f or m/m because I’m hetrophobic, but because m/f have made me numb with it being pushed on me since I was four with romance being added into every kid movie ever. Most 12 years old I know don’t care less about romance. But so many 12 year Olds in films and TV end up invested in a realtionship or whatever. I was like ‘why are they targeting this stuff at is so early?’ and a lot of it just seems unhealthy.
http://www.ilovetelevisionzines.com/another-boring-straight-couple-why-i-hate-your-canon/
Dear Anon,
I actually agree with this quite a lot. There are so many problematic “love” stories out there and Ross and Rachel is one in particular that I always disliked (even though I love the show). Everything about their relationship, mostly due to Ross’s behaviour, was very unhealthy and I don’t think they would work. They only “work” because the writers wanted Ross to get the girl in the end. There is a lot of harmful sexism still present in the writing of TV and movies (mostly involving women being a prize whose own feelings are unimportant) and the traditional boy-likes-girl therefore guy-gets-girl story is lazy and boring, so I totally get the points this article is making. At the same time, Friends created Monica and Chandler, a straight couple who I feel did have a really good story and did have a very healthy relationship. So, while I despise Ross and Rachel, I ship Monica and Chandler to hell and back.
From Anon,
https://www.google.com.au/amp/www.afterellen.com/tv/475459-im-boycotting-straight-white-television/amp
Although I do think this article has a point. I mean, it it is a little blunter than I would say, but I don’t think people are boring for not personally shipping m/f. Even in m/f today there are so many unhealthy gender dymanics that get passed over for being cute. And there is still a crazy huge amount of m/f compared to E everything else.
A study was just published by USC demonstrating how exclusive film and television can really be. Out of the 414 films and television shows they examined, and the 11,194 speaking roles, only 2% were LGB. Out of that number, 72.1% were male. That leaves only 49 lesbian speaking roles and seven transgender roles. And seeing about fiften percent of people identity as none straight, 2 percent of characters (normally side charctersc, not even main characters) is not a lot.
Dear Anon,
I don’t think people are boring for having their own preferences either. I think I interpreted the first sentence of that post differently than others did. My mind focused on the word “refused”, which I took to mean they were talking about people who would ship an m/f pairings because they do think their personalities match up well but, despite how they actually feel, will refuse to ship them just because they’re straight. I have met a few people who are like that and it’s just bizarre to me. Why put a weird set of rules on what things you’re allowed to like and not like? That’s strange enough as it is, but I’ve met a lot of people who also try to impose those same rules on other people (which I think the rest of the post was about) and I’m really not okay with it when people do that.
I understand not shipping m/f pairings just because they aren’t interesting to you anymore because you see them everywhere. I ship very few m/f pairings myself for that exact same reason but, once in a while, I see an m/f pairing that just clicks so well that I ship them anyway despite my usual preferences.
From Anon,
My brother is a straight dude who only dates women but will only read f/f or m/m novels. I get the f/f but I asked him about the m/m and he told me it was because he felt these novels had more room to explore a different dymanic with gender politics thrown out the window in these relationships. He said he grew up on f/m Disney films, movies, books, tv and that he was just wanted a change. So while Tumblr heavily leans towards same sex couples, most of the world of fiction is still the opposite.
Dear Anon,
My response to this post would basically have been the same as the one above so I likely would have posted the two submissions together and responded to them together. The formatting for this is just kind of weird so I thought I should clarify that lol But, yeah, please read above ^_^
From Anon,
So this blog needs for straight ships them. Hmmmmmmm. Rose annoys me so she's out. I like Kevin/Annie. Hmmmmmmm. That is only one though. I shall ship Doug/Celeste to even the numbers out a bit then.
Dear Anon,
lol You don’t have to ship straight ships or invent some just for the sake of balancing out, but I appreciate the effort XD

Law
Laws must be clear, precise, and uniform for all citizens.
-Marquis de Lafayette
General
This is a roleplay blog for Female!Lafayette from Lin-Manuel Miranda’s musical and Female!Sauron from JRR Tolkien’s Legendarium.
This blog is independent, selective and private.
This blog is established on March 2017, redid on July 2017. Formerly known as dcvoue None of the GIFS or Icons are mine (I am far too lazy). As I said above, I am selective. Please do not take it personally if I choose not to roleplay with you. If I do follow you, a reminder is necessary: This is a sideblog, my main blog is: amlugnis I am tracking #loyalservents
I also accept AUs but crossovers only happen if I am familiar with one’s fandom. I do multiple threads with others but it should have limitations since I got other roleplay partners to reply to. And if you roleplay a Lafayette, too, don’t worry! I love to roleplay with my character’s duplicates, I just need to discuss things with the mun first regarding their relationship.
You can remind me about our threads but do not force me to reply as it will only cause me to drop our threads. I require respect and patience when you roleplay with me as I can be extremely slow.
Please, please, PLEASE specify which muse you want to send a meme to, I do not read minds nor do I like guessing games.
Writing
I write semi-paragraphs but multi-paragraphs and novella are my most preferred methods. I use British English in my roleplay but American English would be seen as well. My formatting is in smaller texts and icons will be inserted somewhere in the response (unless my partner does not use any). For Mairon, her dialogues are written in (an attempted) iambic pentameter.
It’s fine if you do not match my length but please reply more than just a one liner and something for me to work with. I value the content of the reply rather than the formatting in your reply. If there is anything that makes me drop a thread, it is constant reminder to reply to your thread.
Anxiety is triggered when you keep silent for a while. If you drop a thread, tell me. I never hold a grudge and I respect everyone and I understand people do not always have a muse for some plot or muse.
Triggers
Please tag violence and please refrain from using brutal icons, the mun is hemophobic. I dislike incest (the closest is between cousins when I roleplay Lafayette) as well as beastiality, animal abuse and suicide. Other dark themes will be tagged in every thread I post.
I am not interested to write smut. Please do not force me to write it with you. I’m just not comfortable with it.
Muses
I have two mains that mostly appear in this blog. They’re the only ones with different verses (although I may make exceptions because I’m a little shit with no self-control).
Female!Lafayette, based off the musical, ‘Hamilton: An American Muiscal’ by Lin Manuel Miranda with a hint of historical influences.
Female!Sauron, based off the books written by JRR Tolkien.
The following three are picky muses to write.
Heather Chandler, based off the movie and musical 'Heathers’.
Jim Moriarty, based off the BBC series 'Sherlock’.
Lady Macbeth, based off the play 'Macbeth’ by William Shakespeare.
Ships
Chemistry is required when shipping with me. I literally ship everything within the Hamilton fandom. From Washette to Mullette to Lafferson to even Lafayette x Burr which I never knew the ship name of, et cetera. If you roleplay Adrienne, kindly come into my IM and let us discuss about our precious babus.
This does not mean I would neglect platonic, friendly and even rivalry shippings, I love these! SO SHOVE THEM DOWN MY THROAT!
By default, I will place an undefined marital status tag in roleplays with Lafayette unless we/I established Marie’s status, whether or not she is married. It helps if you decide to tell me.
Portrayal
Lafayette is heavily influenced by the musical, not historically but there will be a little bit of those bits. She is genderbent, therefore I will putting a lot of headcanons on her. Lafayette is referred to as 'Marie’ from Gilbert’s title (because I avoid changing names when genderbending). Sometimes it depends how Marie joined the revolution but I remain standing by her being persuasive and intelligent enough to join the revolutions. I am not exactly familiar with this part of history, I never really studied about Lafayette.
I also gave Marie two faceclaims: Yaya Dacosta & Liza Soberano (Liza is only used when my rp partner and I agree as I am aware not many are fond of this faceclaim).
Mairon is genderbent, yes, but she preferred being called ‘Lord’ or 'King’. She believes 'Queen’ and 'Lady’ are feeble titles. So she would probably be very much offended if you call her those. She is also a Maia– one of the strongest, probably, so it’s only natural Mairon might be overpowering (unless you’re Vala then… rip).
Mairon’s faceclaim is Natalie Dormer.
In short, they’re canon divergent.
While Heather Chandler is based off the musical and the movie, Jim Moriarty is based on the TV series and Lady Macbeth is based off the play.
Mun
The name is Panther, a she/her, demisexual panromantic, I am studying. I am passionate about theatre, literature and music. I write stories, proses and poetry. I come from the Philippines but I currently live in Brunei (i know you had to Google that, don’t fucking lie)

Ok I really want to try tumblr rpg do you have any resources to help a total beginner?
Hi, there! Okay, I know there are quite a few general guides floating around but they’re not very up to date and I couldn’t find one, so I’ll just jot down some basics for you starting from the very beginning!
So starting out in the tumblr rpc (roleplaying community) in 2017 is going to be daunting, I won’t lie to you. Everything’s changed and evolved so much that the community is very difficult to how it was before. But it’s still fun and wonderful if you know the right places/people!!
So the first thing is to decide if you want to create a specific account for your rp things -- I used to have one but it morphed into a general main blog because I’m lazy and I know a good chunk of the rpc do that now too, so it’s up to you! Most blogs with rpc urls tend to have “__writes” and put a character or a fandom or something?? like my first rpc url was persephonewrites and then i had cosettewrites and stuff like that when I wanted to change it
Having a blog like that is perfect if you’re wanting to 1x1, which is where you and one other person pick a plot (you can reblog plots to a specific tag to save them all on your blog) and then make sideblogs to your main account for your character and then one of you would post a starter and then you’d just reblog from each other and add replies!! I’d link you to my 1x1 blogs but they deleted when my blog got deleted ://
But with group rpg, things are very different!!
So you would go into the rp tag, which is a complete jumbled Mess, and you’d sift through all these groups looking for members - however, that can be difficult as there’s so many different types of group rpgs (appless, bio, skeleton, etc) that you’re better looking in the #lsrp tag, which is basically for more “literate” and “serious” groups rather than your general appless rp where you don’t have to write an application or ‘prove’ yourself as the character you want to take.
So you look in the #lsrp tag and you find a group you like, so you visit the page and everything - if it’s a bio rp, you’d read all the bios and if you found a character you would like to ‘play’ in the group, you check out the application form and fill it out and then submit it through your rp or main account. You would stick to the way the bio is written and the fc (the faceclaim/playby, who you use to visualise your character through photos and gifs when interacting with others) chosen, unless they say you can suggest an fc change to another person! Skeleton rps are where some of the info on the character can be given, but you’re expected to come up with a lot of it yourself and shape the character. OC rps are where you bring your own character you’ve made up and they have no input into it. Appless rps are where you can just send in a message, usually using some kind of format, and say which character you’d like or what your character is like and then you have the role, whereas app rps (the most common and traditional way to group rp) is where you would fill out their application form.
Rps like to set opening dates when they’re first opening, and then usually have fixed acceptance days and have ‘application counts’ where they can tell you if anyone else has applied for that same character, and then once they’ve accepted someone, they’ll post the name and who it is so you know if you’ve got that role or not.
For group rpgs, you make a brand new acount for your character, and you set the url to something that references your character, whether its just the character name or whatever you want!! You’d then set a nice clean theme (you can search #character theme on tumblr or I’d rec any of these) and you give your blog an icon and make it look all pretty!!
Here’s one of my old character blogs for reference, if this helps!
So you then there’s usually a ‘checklist’ page on the rpg that tells you what to do one you’ve been accepted, which is usually to make your account within a certain time period & then send the main rpg page a message letting them know this is your account. After that, you’d check their blogroll and follow all the other characters/members and you’d track the tags given which means you keep up to date on new starters, follows, unfollows, events, etc.
So then usually the general rule is you would go into the starter tag if the rp already started before you joined, and you’d check to see if there are any new starters. A starter is just a post by a member as their character, and you would reblog it and have your character interact with theirs! For example, here is a starter tag for one of my old rps! So you’d look in the starter tag for your rpg and the most recent posts or ones with no notes aka nobody interacting, you would reblog and write your character interacting with theirs through whatever scenario they had written.
Then, you can make your own starter. You can write whatever scenario you’d like, but it’s best to keep it vague enough to apply to everyone in your rpg! You’d then tag it in the starter tag and wait for people to reblog it.
Then, you just keep reblogging back and forth, picking up ‘threads’ of conversation and plot; this is how your character develops and the plot moves forward. You can also have prompts or events, where the main/admin will propose something within the general plot and then your character can react as it’s happening - events are usually like a party within the plot, or a fight or something?? They go on for up to two weeks to give you time to fully round out a good little arc within that event, and then you finish up those threads and can post new starters.
You want to make sure you’re cutting your replies so that you only see the other persons latest reply and your reply to it, so downloading XKit and using that to keep tumblr to the old reblog system is best!
Honestly, the best way to learn about Tumblr rpg is to go into the #rp and #lsrp tags and check out the groups, especially ones that are open and active, and seeing the members and how they operate! Here and here are my two old rps, and you can scroll through the blogrolls and see how the members interacted and stuff!
Okay, this is very jumbled and Messy but I hope this helped?? I’m writing it at half 12 and my brain is fuzzy so I’m so sorry if this doesn’t make an sense. If there’s anything in particular you’d like me to go over, please send me another message either through IMs or anonymously and I’ll go over things in greater detail! Starting out is always scary, but the rpc can be lovely and if you find the right group and people, they’ll welcome you in and make sure you’re okay!! It’s perfectly okay to make mistakes and mess up, too, so don’t feel you have to know everything!
