literally blocking buckt*mmy right now bc the amount of Not Caring I have is infinite compared to the trauma of the rest of that episode, and you’re not even watching the same show as me if you think that Chris leaving isn’t also a traumatic thing for Buck. Absolutely not in the same way it is for Eddie don’t get it fucking twisted!! But it’s a sudden loss, and it’s compounded by him seeing Eddie so messed up about it and being unable to fix it.
