8. Do you have any rituals or habits that help you get into the zone?

HM,,, i'm not very consistent with my writing habits, but i definitely prefer a place where i can be alone and think! it's awkward trying to write something when someone is near you, i typically don't like it when my wips are peeked into randomly 😭 i also listen to classical music sometimes if i feel like it's too silent! i don't know if it really helps, per se, but i like to vibe sometimes ...

17. What's the most memorable comment or review you've received on one of your fics?

AHHHH,,, i've received so much love from this community! i can't name or quote a single specific comment, but it always means the most to me when i receive feedback on characterization 😭 it's one of the hardest parts of writing imo! it always makes me feel all fluffy when someone says i did it well huhu, or even constructive criticism on it especially from my editors/beta readers!

29. Are there any characters, relationships, or general character dynamics you've never written about but would like to try?

i've been pretty experimental with the character dynamics i write (in general), so it's gotten to a point where i know which tropes i definitely am not comfortable with writing!! (which you can find in my pinned <3) atp i can't think of anything i particularly want to try for the first time ;o

as for characters though!! so many!! my fandom list has specific characters listed because they're characters i feel i can understand well enough to write- if a character isn't listed there, it means i'm not there yet!! but i'd love to one day, hopefully :(

If I wasn't just 1 person, I'd probably try to write more stories than the 5 I have planned (those being SOTM: Moon Rise, Moon High, and Moon Fall, Snowfrost's Fate, and Guidance From The Stars [basically like code of the clans, but for my universe])

Whitestar's Struggle- the story of how Whitestar came to be in her clan, and her troubles with fitting in as she grows up

Nightshade's Fury- would explain why Nightshade is Like That(tm) in greater detail (can't even give much details now on what I mean cause thats spoilers for main series content)

Darkfire's Vendetta- can't give much away on this either, since there's a slight possiblity I might actually write this, sorry folks

Novellas:

Embersong's Adventure- the journey of a Treeclan warrior born rouge, and how her life plays out

Darkpelt's Shadow- a tale about the Moutainclan medicine cat apprentice Darkpaw and how he's held on a pedastal for being the son of Fogstar

Jaybird's Love- gets into the life of the chatty queen, shows her relationship with her family (mainly her sister Snowfrost) and how she raised Frostpaw, Rabbitpaw, and Mistypaw

Skunkpaw's Resolve- would get into why Skunkpaw let himself be taken by twolegs and would explore how his life is going

do you have friends who read your writing?whenever I read a note about how the hubby, best friend, sister, etc. heard a writing read aloud, it makes me smile because it's kind of cute.But, I feel mortified to show any creation of my mind. even if I've done it once or twice

Uhhh hm. I think all my friends that I've made offline that read my stuff are people I met through fandom originally. Examples:

@disillusionist9 and I met through a mutual friend who's no longer active on tumblr but we ended up becoming great friends and have met offline. We talk frequently when our schedules allow lol

@im-a-monster-fucking-princess and I met bc of Diary, became friends, and she subsequently ended up becoming my #1 and editor/beta in chief for The Diary Revision Project. When time and life allows, we have video chat wine nights.

And one of my sisters is old enough to read some of my fics, but she's more of a physical book kind of person. That said, when she remembers to read Diary, she enjoys it and live-texts me her reactions to Hermione's sass. I love her deeply simply for existing, but also for these moments lmao.

And I've made a ton of friends via the tomione discord too, even though I was hella inactive over there for a while. Many of my mutuals I connected with properly in the discord though.

I used to be very close with some other big names in fandom, but old dramas and nonsense severed those connections. At the time, they were also reading my stuff (I read theirs too) and I always enjoyed hearing from them about it. It was also fun to write gifts for each other, and I'm hoping to restart that trend in the current fandom atmosphere.

Rarely, a potential love interest IRL will want to read something of mine when they learn I write. I have some things copied on a google drive unaffiliated with my usernames so they have to google and put in some effort to find the source, but I will let them read certain oneshots if they're truly interested.

I do understand the anxiety though. I've had friends who praised my writing but just weren't interested enough to stick around for the story or go read it on their own time. And that kinda makes their interest and compliments feel less genuine sometimes. But I promise there are people who, even if the subject isn't their cuppa, are just amazed that you can create something in a way they can't.

Once upon a time in high school, my mom read the beginning of a novel I was working on, and afterwards she sat me down and calmly demanded to know where I'd copied it from. Started telling me how dangerous and bad plagiarism was, etc. Until I showed her the document on my laptop and she realized it really was my own work.

So. You know. Reactions may vary 🤣
