People talk about the Unconventionally Attractive People and say that it's who you are that's the beautiful thing and try to make all these little traits our we don't admire into beauty, and I agree wholeheartedly,

But one thing I love so much is being told that something is unattractive, and believing that is true your whole life, and then finding someone with that trait who you love so much that you realize that it is beautiful, and it stays beautiful, and every time you come across it you are genuinely swayed where you stand.

A man I love has a large, crooked nose. woman I love has black hairs on her chin. A person I love has frequent breakouts. A woman I love is fat. A person I love has a speech impediment. A man I love has a tic.

Before I loved them, I might have nodded along and said that sure, these things are fine. These things could be beautiful, in theory, in a distant, abstract way. And I would have kept on seeing them, and not thinking much, and felt nothing.

Now, though, a snore heard two doors down puts my heart at ease. Pockmarks make my eyes wander and my face grow warm. I want to trace my fingers over moles and keloid scarring and draw little sketches of blown-out, faded tattoos. I want soft lighting and charcoal to capture rolls and a belly. I find I've become drawn to a stranger's stutter on the train.

I think that the idea that "beauty is only skin deep" and "It's what's inside that counts" is fine enough, but they're flawed sentiments because they fail to fully articulate how real beauty, the kind that makes hearts beat harder and mouths go dry, doesn't always come from you.

You don't need to do anything. You don't need to smooth out your wrinkles or flatter your figure or make your mind and body palatable for consumption.

Everything we are might be breathtaking to someone who has loved before, and that thought brings me so much hope and joy.

(I hope this is coherent, it's four in the morning and I just woke up out of a dead sleep feeling teary-eyed)

I made a post before the show started that I would be using Fridays and Saturdays to mostly focus on other things, because I know my dash will be full of tfatws content and talk, and as I’ve explained, I’m not watching the show right now because of my ~emotions~, so it won’t really do me much good to be on here then, you know? Just going to leave you guys to be excited in peace 😊 So yeah, I try to use Fridays and Saturdays to be productive in other areas (writing Stucky fic, among other things). I don’t know man, I’m smoothing out the wrinkles in the writing and wishing everything had been more explicit maybe, but to me I just can’t see the ending as anything else but “jon actually stepping up to be the eye’s pupil instead of jonah was specifically not the web’s plan and martin joining him at the very end and reminding him hope is never lost he found the courage to seek a potential  third way and it was right there” 

like when I first listened to the ep I was confused as HELL about what they did, but my brain refuses to be like “they did the web’s plan, the end”. to me this felt like “oh, here’s to the grand mad idea that we can make the change together even if it’s the end of us and yeah maybe it’ll fail but we’ll have tried instead of dooming us or the other worlds entirely”

SPN WRITING HIATUS

Okay so this is not a decesion I have taken lightly and it's for multiple reasons. If you don't want a long winded answer. I am still here since this is my main blog and I can't delete without taking my other blogs down with it. My fics are still here they wont be deleted. I am gonna try and keep a q running of my old fics and random gifs but no promises.

I don't know when or if I will return to writing for the show and actors. I still love them so one day maybe.

Here comes the long reason

1. There are too many shipswars. Too much hate against actors and their wives for everything. I don't mean just Danneel. I count Gen, Jared, Misha and Jensen here too. They can't even swallow these days before the same old attacks are repeated again and again and again...

2. I love the actors. I love the characters. Old as new. Jack is the best thing that happened these past two season. I don't love the writers or the direction of the show. It's filled with plotholes and canon consistancy seems to be a thing of the past.

3. Abuse seems to be praised more and more not just within fanfiction but also on the show. Not every villian deserves redemption.

4. My drive and motivation are gone. I got a doc filled with ideas but when I sit down to write nothing comes. It's not a writer's block cause I don't have that problem writing marvel. Which I will continue to do.

5. No one is to blame for this. It has been a long time coming. My writing has slowed a lot and when even trying to write Jenneel this christmas gave me trouble I saw the writing on the wall. I need a break.

Hang in there. I might return to writing or unfollow cause I don't know when it will be. You are free to do both. I wont check or be mad. If you like marvel and sebastian stan especially you can find me over on the sideblog where my fics will keep coming for a foreseeable future.
