Finally decided on what animal each of the mercs are for the TF2 x Beastars AU, so I'm making a new more clean post about it instead of adding it onto this rb train of mine.

So, let's get into it :]

First off, who is what animal:

Heavy - Eurasian Brown Bear

Medic - Alpine Ibex

Spy - Red [European] Fox

Scout - White-Tailed Jackrabbit (w/ some Red Fox mixed in)

Sniper - Dorset Horn Sheep

Demoman - Scottish Highland Bull

Soldier - Raccoon

Engineer - Blue Lacy [Dog]

Pyro - Gila Monster

Onto some side notes about the mercs in this AU (as well as some other stuff):

Like I wrote about in my fanfic for this AU (which you can read here if you wanna), Heavy is a bit bigger than the average Eurasian Brown Bear despite him not eating any meat. Tho', it also results in him having a weaker bite force. On the flip side, his arms are pretty powerful.

Out of the carnivores- who tend to get long, sharp nails- the only one that doesn't file them down is Soldier.

Scout's coat- as he grew older- began getting more and more tinted a red-ish orange color instead of it's usual gray-ish tan color. His tail is a bit longer than it should be, along with his nails being sharper (which he trims in secret). On the plus side, he is pretty fast, even in jackrabbit standards.

Medic has a few scars on his body he avoids showing anyone- especially Heavy and Scout- after a rather nasty night at the black market. The only ones that knows of it is Engineer (who helps clean the scars) and Spy ('cause of course he does). And ever since then, whenever he goes around the city, he always brings a bag with his trusted bonesaw, a scalpel, and a syringe inside of it.

Under his mask, Spy's fur around his face is graying a bit. As a lil' side note: He does eat meat, but avoids eating it in front of anyone. Even if he knows that Engineer (sometimes) and Soldier (quite a bit) eats meat as well.

Since it takes quite a lot to properly take care of wool, Sniper ends up just not really taking care of it. Which results in stuff getting stuck in it (like leaves, sticks, and so on), an awful time showering, and a grumbling doctor.

Due to how his hair is, Demoman always wears a headband to keep it out of his eye. On another note; While Heavy is the tallest carnivore of the group- and tallest overall- Demoman is the tallest herbivore.

Like Sniper, Soldier doesn't really take care of his fur, despite Demoman, Engineer, and Medic's best efforts to take care of it. His ears are also pretty scarred, but still works alright! If he didn't wear that helmet all the time, that is.

Being a type of dog, Engineer- whenever he isn't busy with a project- is the one to keep the other carnivores in line if they end up getting rowdy, or start losing themselves in their instincts.

Pyro does wear a mask all the time here as well- both to hide their more severe burn scars, and also to not accidentally poison someone with their venom- but only wears an asbestos-lined suit when their job calls for it. Their mask has at least one new sticker (to replace old stickers) plastered on it everyday, and their clothes tends to be decorated with patches that's sewed on, keychains, bracelets, and so on.

This one's gonna sound dirty af, but it's about horns, I swear. Out of the horned herbivores; Demoman's horns are the longest but are also somehow the thinnest, Medic's horns are the thickest (and just a tad shorter than Demoman's), while Sniper's horns are the shortest. These three- more notable Demoman and Medic- tend to get their horns accidentally hooked together and make them fall over eachother, over and over again.

I have ideas for other TF2 side characters for this AU, but I mostly have no clue what animals to give them. Except for Saxton, who gets to be a Red Kangaroo.

hi! this is just me letting you know that i'm gonna be switching back to using my main blog for all my blogging and reblogging purposes. i may still post here occasionally, i don't really know yet. even if i don't, i'm definitely keeping this blog here for archive purposes, there's no way i'm deleting it.

long and unnecessary explanation under the cut

so when i started posting on tumblr again in 2023 (i think it was 2023), i didn't realize that you only get one main blog and that's what you like and send asks from. so instead of rebranding my old (main) blog i started a whole new (side) blog for a fresh start. when i realized that i should have done the first thing, instead of going back and doing that immediately, i just went "oh well" and kept going. but i eventually started getting annoyed that when i liked posts or sent an ask, other people would see an inactive blog. so i changed my main blog’s theme and started posting on my main blog again with the idea that i'd post only my favorite things on my main blog and everything (including the favorite things so i'd have to rb them twice) on this blog. but then i kept forgetting to post on my main blog and the problem was still bugging me. if i could just make this my main blog i would but it doesn't look like you can do that. so instead i'm going to (probably completely) stop using this blog and use my main blog instead. so yeah. i hope that made sense.

Qwispy!

Your OC accidentally helped a mob boss change a flat while transporting a corpse and was rewarded with a "favor." They then find themselves in a position where they need to make that call. -What is the situation and how bad does it have to be to make that call? -Is it a successful mission or does it require a few steps to complete? -What if the mob wont let your OC go afterwards? Is your OC willing to make peace with that fact or find a way out of it?

This one got away from me I'm not gonna lie. It's close to 2000 words. I'll RB this with the AO3 link once I post it over there. This prompt was *perfect* for my old RP character, so I couldn't help putting her (and her right hand man) in as supporting characters.

Skid Row, Los Angeles, California - 1989

Envy turns the bolt and yanks on the front door to make sure it won’t budge. Another late, hectic night on the books. Running a bar (especially a dive like Cobalt) is simultaneously the most rewarding and most frustrating thing she’s done in her life. The day that she doesn’t have to get physical with a customer will be… well, probably the day she opens another bar.

She does another sweep and lets herself out the back. Go home. Sleep. Eat. Do it again. Before her keys are out of the lock, she sees a car rolling up in the steel door’s reflection.

“I know you ain’t bouta rob me right now…” she mutters, popping the door back open and grabbing her nail bat from inside. Won’t stop someone who’s really hurting for cash, but it’ll make them think twice about it. Envy locks up again and slowly walks out into the lot, bat at hand.

A long, black sedan sits in the middle of her parking lot, tilted down on one side. Flat tire in the back. The driver steps out and stares. Tall white dude, medium build. Nice suit. Either a Family man (and she thought she left those on the East Coast) or an important cop. She’s not sure which is worse. If it’s the former, she could probably take him if he’s not carrying. The latter would just take a while. Probably want to see her paperwork. Then he’d want a drink. She’d be lucky to get home before the sun’s up.

Her keys jingle when she moves. He whirls around. “Hey! You work here?”

“We’re closed.” Maybe if she keeps it short and doesn’t stop walking, she can get out of this.

“I don’t want trouble. I got a flat, was wondering if you’d help a pal out. I can make it worth your while.” The only thing that’s worth her while right now is her bed. Envy keeps walking. “Didn’t I see you at that protest last month?”

“No you didn’t!” She calls over her shoulder. He thinks he’s real slick, huh? He didn’t see her if she was there, that’s for sure. There might not be that many big black queens with battle vests and locs this side of town, but this one kept her damn face covered.

“Listen!” He exclaims as she reaches her trunk. “I got friends in high places and no spare in the trunk. You help me with this, I’ll scratch your back one day. I promise.”

“Here’s some help: There’s a pay phone down 6th. Call your friends. Or a tow.”

“This isn’t the kind of thing I can trust a tow with. Please. I'm good for it.”

Against her better judgment, Envy puts her spare on the mobster’s car for $20 and a phone number scrawled on an old receipt. The guy vows over and over that if she calls, he’ll help her, but she’s not counting on it.

Hollywood, Los Angeles, California - 2006

Envy pushes up her reading glasses and rubs the bridge of her nose. Agreeing to add playrooms to her new goth club sounded like such a good idea from the outset. Club Hedonism’s been looking for a place to run secondary events and host meetings during their more ‘controversial’ events (looking at you, Willy’s Wild ‘n’ Wet Watersports Week), and it seemed obvious to offer Midnight up.

Unfortunately, the City of Los Angeles has decided to fuck her instead. The building changes she’ll have to make in order to accommodate the playrooms have totally changed the scope of the project. For once, it’s not a money issue, thanks to Hedonism’s contract and her new submissive’s insistence to help— She needs to get new permits before any work can continue, and the city’s not budging.

She starts to punch in the submissive’s number (Isn’t her brother Dethklok’s manager? Maybe she can get a referral for a better lawyer. The one she’s got now hasn’t done shit), then stops, pulling a crumpled receipt out of her desk drawer. That’s right, the time she changed a mobster’s tire. Well, if the guy’s still alive, maybe he can pull some strings with the city. That’s what they do in the Family, isn’t it?

After two rings, a woman with an alluring voice answers. Envy almost hangs up at her Hello? but figures there’s no harm in trying.

“I’m looking for a Rob Muratori?”

Her tone drops instantly. “How did you get this number?”

“He gave it to me after I changed a flat for him in ‘89. I understand if—“

She gives a world-weary sigh and says, “You’re lucky he’s here. Hold on. Rob, vieni subito qui!”

They shout back and forth in Italian for a moment, then Envy hears the telltale sound of a phone being handed over.

“Hey, this is Muratori. No funny business or I’ll find ya!” He laughs, but it’s clear he’s serious about it.

“You might not remember me. I changed a flat for you outside a dive bar called Cobalt in 1989. You gave me this number and said I could call you for a favor.”

“No, I remember you,” he assures, warm tone not quite hiding the menace beneath. “You’re Envy, right? Envy Greenberg. Last weekend, you hosted a rope tutorial at Club Hedonism.”

Envy holds her hand over the phone’s receiver and murmurs, “What the fuck?” to herself before bringing it back to her ear. She replies weakly, “Yeah, that’s me.”

“Cool, just making sure I got it straight. What can I do for you, Envy?”

“Do you know anybody that could help me get some permits through the city? Zoning’s blocking my new club. I didn’t really know where else to turn.”

“As a matter of fact, I do. My uh, friend that answered the phone is real good with contracts. She can grease some wheels downtown and get your project back on track.”

She should be glad it’s working out, but she feels like she’s signing a pact with the Devil. Envy forces a smile into her words as she replies, “Great.”

They make plans for his lawyer-friend to meet her at Club Hedonism the following weekend, as it turns out she’s a member. Envy books them a room. Some things are best discussed in complete privacy. Before they get off the line, Rob makes sure to tell her not to invite anyone else along. It kills her plan to invite her new submissive as buffer before it can crawl.

She waits in the negotiation room for what feels like an hour, jittering her knees until they might bruise. When Muratori’s friend finally shows, she’s not like any lawyer Envy’s ever seen. The lingerie is typical Hedonism fare, but she struts on platform heels like she just got off the pole. Let alone the Az-worthy blue hair. In fact, she would’ve asked her to leave if it weren’t for the gangster rose tatted on one of her arms and the hard look on her face.

“I trust you brought the paperwork,” she says in lieu of introduction. Her voice is back to sultry, but it doesn’t have the same effect now that she can hear the criminal underneath. She’s the sort of fierce beauty that Envy’d normally go silly for. It isn’t getting her blood pumping this time.

“Yeah. Plans and stuff too, in case you need to double check I’m applying for the right zoning permits.”

“That won’t be a problem. Rob’s taking care of my retainer for this, but I do still need you to sign a few things.” She sniffles a little. She bets she knows where that retainer’s going.

“For sure.” It would’ve been nice to have Sunday here, if only to make sure she isn’t signing herself into a corner. That’s probably why Muratori insisted she meet the lawyer alone. 

She learns the woman’s name through the paperwork, at least. Darian Ambrosia. Envy would prefer to take her time and read everything over, but Darian’s piercing stare makes her rush. Steel grey eyes follow her every movement. Envy starts to sweat. Stiletto nails drum the table with coked out impatience. Envy reads a little faster.

When they finish, Darian softens those killer eyes and asks, “I try not to mix business and pleasure, but are you taking clients right now?”

Thank God for Sunday, Envy thinks and answers, “Not right now, I just took on a new submissive. It’ll be a while before I’m available for new play partners again.”

“I wonder if Ms. Mourning knows how lucky she really is. Let her know Rob and I are fans.”

“Uh-huh.” Damn, they’re gonna bring her subs into this? Guess it’s hard to get at her family when they’re all on the East Coast.

Despite the thug behavior, Darian and Rob are as good as their word. Envy only has to live with a pit in her stomach for three weeks before the permits go through and she’s back to expressing her stress with a sledgehammer. She stays glancing over her shoulder, though. A few years later, the other shoe drops.

Las Vegas, Nevada - 2010

The downturn hits Turquoise the hardest of her establishments. Figures. Vegas is not quite as recession-proof as Hollywood, and a decrease in tourists means a decrease in money all around. She’s having the opposite of a pleasant vacation. Laying off a bunch of cocktail waitresses isn’t her idea of a good time. Doing it in person with severance is the best she can do, and even that’s not as much as her girls deserve.

All this to say that by the end of her tear-soaked, chlorine-scented day, Envy’s feeling rotten to the core. All she wants to do is get in her car and spend the five hour drive back to LA shouting along to old Misfits CDs, but God has something else in mind. 

There’s a couple in dark suits leaning against the car next to hers. Darian’s hair is platinum blonde now, but she can’t miss the gunslinger’s glares on her and her companion’s faces.

“Mr. Muratori, Ms. Ambrosia. Enjoying a weekend getaway?”

“Something like that,” Rob Muratori agrees, flashing his killer’s grin. “Get in the van.”

“I’m good. I got a long drive back to LA, and my submissive’s waiting on me for an appointment.”

“That’s interesting, since the news won’t shut up about Nathan Explosion proposing to her at Paris Disneyland,” Darian drawls, checking her manicure. The tattoos have crawled down to her hands now. Between those and the hungry look in her cheeks, Envy doubts she’s been doing much legal work lately.

“Ms. Greenberg, it’ll be easier for everyone if you come along. Your car will still be here when you come back.”

Rob’s reassurance does little to soothe Envy’s nerves. She didn’t want to get mixed up in this to begin with, and she’s not going to do favors back and forth with them forever. He’s skinnier than she remembers, too. She stands firm. Might be able to take him on if he tries to grab her.

He shifts to put a hand on his hip and Envy catches a glimpse of a pistol inside his suit jacket. Never mind, she’s going along for this one. “You promise I’ll be home in time for dinner?”

“If everything goes like it should, I’ll make you dinner myself. You like Italian?”

“Who doesn’t?”

It turns out he needs her as backup muscle for a deal. She stands at a door with a gun on her hip while Rob and Darian ‘convince’ a debtor to pay up. No blood is spilled, yet she feels filthy once they’re done. She’ll be scrubbing herself raw in the shower tonight.

Rob’s pleased with the results and promises Envy another favor. She silently vows never to be down bad enough to take it.

archive 2022: quiet year again! this time we got news of L is real 2401, and some mixings of post from undertale to omori, tf2 back to madcom, and my (not apparent but very there) shotgun king rbs. count around 29?

Hii so sorry for bothering you but, I love writing I’ve been doing it for a long time. I’d like to post on tumblr but I’m kinda new to it and don’t really know how to use it (gifs, text colors,…) so if it’s okay for you could you maybe teach me how to use it or give me some tips?

HELLO HELLO!!! omg i'm so flattered PLS TT but that's so great to hear that u want to start posting here and join the community!! :D i'll try to make a comprehensive, basic guide, but i'm def not the best with the technical things like color gradients and the like 😅 so if u wanted to explore about that, there r a lot of other blogs here who can show u!

besides that, i'll put below the cut my two cents, and anyone can feel free to add if i forgot anything!:

1. gifs! i'm gonna say right off the bat that i don't use gifs a lot, if not, at all. but there r a lot of gifs on tumblr that u can find and use!! usually if u search up the thing u want a gif of, u could probably find it, but pls remember to credit someone if u use their gif!! and if they ask u to like/rb their post if u save it, then pls respect that as well!!

2. text colors: ngl, they're really sparse and a little ugly 😅😅 at least the ones tumblr provides, so a lot of people either just stick to the plain text color or they go on desktop and do the fancy custom coloring w hex numbers and things. i really don't know how to do that (?) but again, if u ever want to learn, i can point u to someone who can show u! but at some points, i do like using the text colors one at a time to make things stand out more against the plain text! to use the colors, just select the text accordingly and u can press a color or press it again to undo it

that's what it looks like on my end! ^

3. text fonts: personally, tumblr's method of doing this is really annoying sjxbksnfh but you can change the font of an entire paragraph without selecting it. the font button is the "Aa" in the left corner above ur keyboard. u essentially have to just click thru until u figure out which one you'd like depending on the aesthetic ur going for! a lot of people ik here just use this regular text in the three different sizes, or they go to like,, copy paste generators online and find a font they like their instead! i do use those frequently, so lmk if you'd like the link to the one i use!

4. tags: one of the most important ways to get ur works out into the world esp when ur just starting off is thru the tags! to tag ur fic, it's the hashtag symbol to the right above ur keyboard. u wanna use tags that pertain to ur fic, so try avoiding tagging ur fic w things its not (like if it's angst, don't put fluff). some common things i tag my fics w are "(group/idol) x reader" "(group/idol) drabbles" "(group/idol) social media au" etc. and usually if it's a pretty known/used tag, it'll appear while ur typing it in as well!

5. navigation menus: writers here usually have a pinned post or a post w a link to a "navigation" post or masterlist! i have my navi pinned, but it essentially is a central place where i link everything that i'd like people to see or things readers/other writers would want to find! things that include: masterlists, about me, faqs, recently posted works, etc!

6. fic formatting: it's unfortunate, but a lot of readers r put off by some types of formatting, which is why a lot of people stick to plain text color and plain text font. usually, u wanna include the title, the idol pairing, word count, genre, and any warnings abt the fic. none of these r required, ofc, but i recommend it! and most people do prefer that if ur fic is over 500 words, that u should out a "keep reading" bar after a paragraph or two! a keep reading bar is like the one i used at the beginning of this post, and u just go to a new line and type ":readmore:" and press enter, and it'll form for u! some people use pictures as a little border as well btwn their intro section and the actual fic.

i'm sure i'm missing other important things haha but when in doubt, take inspo from all the other creators around u! pls do remember to reblog people's fics when u read them tho — that's one if the most important things!

(just thought of this and adding, but try to avoid writing directly onto tumblr TT usually i do it on google docs first and copy-paste it onto here to do formatting! tumblr likes to delete things out of pocket sometimes so 💀)

hi youn you don't really know me but i just wanted to say your tags on that most recent reblog of the "reblog art posts you like" post are so real and i really appreciate you taking the time to write all of that. i'm a hobbyist content creator myself (i do it for myself + my close friends) but i've never really posted anything online because i worry about basically exactly that kind of thing. especially with my ocs. i don't think i'm capable of making myself not look at the notes, the one time i made a text post it somehow got like 60 likes and 5 reblogs and from that other post you reblogged that looks actually pretty generous which is horrifying to me.

anyway um thank you. as someone who regularly puts effort into running their mouth in the tags of art+writing posts (and has gotten multiple dms thanking me for doing so, actually!) and is too afraid to post on this site, i really really agree that reblogs and especially heartfelt tags make such a difference, and the situation here on tumblr is really discouraging to active creators and to new/silent creators as well. like current creators getting fed up and leaving is a big concern obviously but there is also already content being missed before it's even posted. and i would be really surprised if that weren't the case for many other young creators that just decided to keep their ideas to themselves because of all this.

i know personally when I see this happening to artists (including writers) that i really look up to what it really feels like is just that fandom is dying. like it's just a small handful of content creators here holding each other up (the majority of that handful of reblogs) and everyone else is probably on some kind of a mindless content scroll. likes to me are like a little hand wave, like a "hey I saw this thing!" marker, but reblogs are like taking a picture of it, going "hey I like this!" or "i want to see this again!" and it feels kind of weird to see swarms of people just kind of giving a little thumbs up/wave/brief nod to something they theoretically like.

sorry this got so long!!! i just really appreciated your post and i had a few thoughts and then i wrote a whole wall.. (also no pressure to post this (though it's also ok if you do)! mostly wanted to let you know that post meant a lot to me)

i forgot to mention it in the rb tags and my post earlier but YES. yes exactly, reblogs esp with tags on it, ppl gushing or talking about the creation they rb is always the best thing for a creator. this can literally make our days, i have messages and tags saved for whenever i feel unhappy about my stuff so i can look them up again! it really means a lot, so not only do you show your love and support to the creator and their work by rb, it can also make us so so happy to see you talk about it

and yes, its really really hard for new/starting creators to post here, bc of this issue. as well as for OCs!!! thats mostly why i also keep my OCs away and just do fanart bc honestly, i think this would actually sadden me so i dont want that. and knowing that many people do that too is very sad bc theres so much stuff people wanna show but dont dare bc they feel like no ones gonna look anw. so much creativity and wonderful works, kept hidden/unposted or not appreciated enough, its really saddening

1, I got a snazzy new art program, csp!! no more firealpaca for me >:]

2, my interests and what I'll post abt !! which I'll now list here hehe. these r just my main ones u can find a full list on my carrd in my bio !! ^_^

• object shows (hfjone, ii, and obs primarily. I do like bfb also!!)

• pikmin!! I lost interest in it for a bit but pikmin 4 has reignited my interest in it so!! we've really come full circle here lmao.

• sonic!! this one's a new one and I didn't expect to like it as much as I do??? but I do!! my fave is silver I love that guy he's so me

• care bears !! I'm still hyperfixtated on these bears . I can't escape them ever they are apart of me now

• vocaloid and project sekai!! I always liked vocaloid but project sekai has made me enjoy it even more lately lol

• and ofc I still like splatoon ! Silly squid guys

And uhh yeah that's abt it !!

One last thing to wrap up this post, I will no longer be using my art blog for all art related posts or reblogs, instead I will use it as a sort of archive for my art where you can find it all easily . Basically I'll reblog and post all art posts on main but I'll only *reblog* *my* art to my art blog, if that makes sense at all? Idk lawl.

- first and foremost, i am a uni student. that means i take hiatuses or breaks to focus on my studies or work. that will always take priority over writing fics or maintaining my blog. (i.e. if something hasn't updated in a long time, trust that it'll be updated after i'm less busy)

- this is a sfw writing blog ! all works on here will be sfw, and if it's suggestive i'll tag it. i will not rb or post about nsfw stuff on this blog whatsoever.

- i have written fics for genshin impact + enstars, which, if you're interested, you can see if you go to my ao3 account.

- as for requests, they will be open according to my schedule. make sure to check out the request menu before sending one. you know when they're open when i post about request slots. other than that please don't send requests randomly, or they will be deleted.

- quick disclaimer abt my writing: when i'm writing requests i will be using gender neutral terms + try to keep the reader as inclusive as possible. however, when i'm writing fics for myself, the yuu i'm referring to isn't supposed to be the reader, rather it's my personal yuusona. (i.e. my personal fics aren't gonna be as inclusive as my requested stuff since i'm not consciously trying to make them inclusive; so i hope you understand !)

about asks;

- i am open to chatting ! so please do send asks if you'd like to talk ^^ questions, brainrot, memes, etc. i'll do my best to answer them :D

- please don't send story spoilers for twst jp. i'm fine with new card spoilers or asking me about upcoming reruns/events in jp but please refrain from sending spoilers about stories or even the content of events ! i stopped playing in jp and only read up to book 6 so please don't send spoilers into my inbox :'))))

- if you send something long, like hcs or a theory / fic idea, it might take me longer to answer just bc i want to write an answer that matches up to the amount of effort you put into the ask ^^

- please do not spam asks. i will get to anwering them. also don't spam different asks. if you have a lot to say, pls make one big ask n send it instead of 5 asks w/ different things from the same person.

- if your ask is rudely worded, i may just ignore it. respect me and my time, and i'll respect you and your time.

- remember that this is a sfw blog, therefore any nsfw asks will be immediately ignored + deleted. not only that, please don't send them anyway, it makes me personally uncomfortable to read.

- if you are sending any art/media: please send it as a link to the original piece. and i mean a legitimate link to where the artist posted the art originally. anything else such as sending just a picture/video will be considered reposting without permission and i will delete the ask. hello hello! i'm technically still on a writing break cause of finals, but!!

theres so many of us now!!!!!! wtf im gonna cry ;; it really does mean a lot to me that you're all sticking around, even if i haven't been the most active lately 💕

so! i wanted to do something to celebrate! i'm switching it up a little (due to my... very cramped sched this week uhu), so instead of an ask/request based thing like last time, i'm thinking of doing a little writing raffle! i'm fairly new to stuff like this, so please bear with me. <3 (also, if im doing this wrong please feel free to tell me LOL im willing 2 learn!!!!)

Here's why I Hate those "REBLOG/RETWEET ARTISTS WORKS" Virtue Signal Posts

I was gonna Tweet this instead but I don't feel like Threading it bc that's a Pain in the Ass but I'm still Annoyed n gotta say it Somewhere. These points are in No Particular Order and are simply why these posts are Useless and Meaningless. Keep in mind I, myself, am some form of a "Small Internet Artist".

Nothing Unique is being Said. This is Not a New Idea/Concept. Wow. No one in the History of Ever has EVER made this post ever. So New.

If they don't RB/RT art Now? They're probably not Going to.

And that's Fine. People like to keep their accounts to a certain Theme or Concept or whatever that they like to Stick To. If it's so important to you that your Art is Shared w the Masses, you need to Appeal to those Masses. It's a Hard Pill to Swallow but I've unfortunately come to Accept It. No one is obligated to share your Marvel Fan Comic on their Goth Aesthetic Account.

Those posts almost Never come from someone who means it in "Good Faith". ESPECIALLY if it gains a Lot of Traction. Here's the most COMMON reason a (Popular) post of that kind is created: Anime Artist #3906 with an 80k following and an average of 30,000 "Notes" (or Interactions depending on Platforms) on their Art only got 28,000 on this one particular post they felt Really Good About. In their Rage, they Blame people for Not Sharing, and make it out to sound like "You need to SUPPORT THE LITTLE GUY" because they didn't get 10,000+ Likes on their latest piece.

They almost always come from a person who only shares maybe 3 pictures a Day that are already Extremely Popular and matches their own personal Fandom/Theme (which is Fine! But they need to STFU). So Much for Supporting the Little Guy.

If it's Not the situation in #4, here's the Alternative: a Beginner artist who still determines the "Quality" of a piece based solely on how many Hours were put into it ("I put TEN HOURS INTO THIS PIC!!!!!") Is Mad that even though they put So Much Time into their pic, no one is Sharing it because when people Scroll through Posts, no one Cares how long you sat there. Here we go again w the Hard To Swallow Pills. BUT when this is the case, the post usually doesn't gain as much Traction bc of their Lack of a Following. Sorry Buddy but its just bc you're still a Beginner, go work on some Studies.

On top of #6, it's now telling Other Beginners to Blame Other People for their Failure instead of Getting Good. Now I have a whole GROCERY LIST on how Art Communities are RUINING Beginners but that's Another Story

A Combination of how it's Not a New Idea AND how it's almost Always coming from someone who Doesn't do the Same... Why do they make their Own Post of the Same Idea instead of, like, Sharing Someone Else's? Or at least doing Both?

In conclusion, yall have been Saying and Making these posts for Ages now, and Nothing has changed. You're doing it for Clout and Nothing Else.
