Anybody else get people in your life just assuming what your disability is?

I've had like 3 separate coworkers/profs who knew me before I started using a wheelchair assume that I have MS because I'm using one now. Not even asking something like "are you using a wheelchair because you have MS?" or some other question. Just straight up assuming and saying "I'm sorry your MS has progressed that far." I certainly never told these people I have MS, I don't really understand what MS is (anyone with it is welcome to tell me or point me towards a website /genuine). And I'm very open about my disabilities, if they had ever asked I would have told them. Is it just that MS is the only disability that they know of that can cause young people to become wheelchair users? (/retorical).

It's just odd to me that several people in my life have assumed the same thing. Also they're all people I would have been comfortable if they'd just said "we're close ish can I ask you a question about your disability?" It's not random coworkers but like, my former coteacher or someone who I have a positive work-friend relationship with.

GAB: Neon J. Edition

I've been kinda busy with some IRL stuff lately, so I haven't found much time to draw. In the meantime, I've started using a habit tracker app to try and motivate me to make some more positive changes in my life. Today, I finally decided to add, "draw for at least 1 hour a day" to my dailies list, so hopefully I'll have at least one thing to post a day for a little while, even if it's kinda shitty.

Anyways, as you can probably infer, this is what I did today.

I actually did the sketch for Neon GAB a few weeks ago to go with the Kun3h0 1010s I did, but since I stopped drawing again, I got really rusty (again), and this was one of the simplest sketches I had to try and get back in the groove.

Normally I would post a doodle dump of all the bad sketches I've done since the 1010 oddloop animation, but instead I'm gonna try to use those for my drawing hour for the next few days, so you'll get them eventually, just as a drip feed (and since I'm working on them, they should actually be something worth looking at for 5 seconds).

It's typical that some series have much more recognisable (or, rather, replicable) generic symbols associated with them than others

Like, Kirby? A star, ☆, easily. Kingdom Hearts? A heart, ♡, fits perfectly. A ◓ works well for Pokémon because it looks like a Poké Ball, and a ⦻ works even better for Pokémon Reborn because of what that game's logo looks like. I prefer the symbols to be more like symbols than outright emoji, but a 🔫 for Splatoon does make a lot of sense, as would 🔥 for Fire Emblem, or 🐉 for Skyrim.

But what would you use for, like, Xenoblade Chronicles, or Dragon Quest, or Final Fantasy??
